marz-senpai: I'm not entirely surprised. Unlike the average story, with a relatively simple, linear plot, this one has multiple things happening in a short time. But, don't worry. This chapter contains a little reflection that might help.

Guest: Disgusting shit? Um... scratches head... well, yeah. They're demons. What did you expect? LOL!

Chapter 6

Moments after Tiffany's birth, Leni began to regain her strength and access to her abilities. However, the latter was a surprise. Whenever Tiffany shifted form while feeding, so would Leni, depending on whether the child needed milk or black goo. Of course, when Leni wasn't nursing her baby, she could shift whenever she wished.

Tiffany had a small tuft of blonde hair and dark brown eyes that resembled Leni's when only a babe herself. Her demonic form was similar to Lucy's, only in miniature. Her nails were dramatically shorter, her tail was only two inches long, and both her horns and wings were no more than tiny bumps.

But, as cute as she was, in either form, the only ones allowed to play with or hold her were those with demonic blood. The risk of accidentally harming and awakening those that remained human was far too significant. While Lily was an intelligent child, she fumed and fussed, wanting to play with the new arrival.

Eventually, the commotion settled, and people began milling about, making small talk, or sitting alone, absorbing everything that had happened. Lincoln stripped, claiming his clothes were restrictive, and started a trend, with all those with ancient blood following suit. All except Leni, who used her dress to swaddle her child.

Naturally, the demonic folk soon began having random sex or enjoyed impromptu mutilations of each other at the sight of exposed flesh. Luna and Luan sequestered the younger human children in one of the many viewing rooms. Lana, who understood mating, informed Luna that they were already getting used to the demons' antics to no avail.

Like the rest, Lucy was beginning to feel overwhelmed. A lot had occurred within a short time and needed to be processed. Quietly, she skulked off and found a free bench down one of the long hallways. Tucking her tail between her legs, she took a seat, then supported her head with her arms on her knees as she began working through everything.

A little over eight months ago, Lucy cast an empowerment spell, which Nyx answered. Unfortunately, in the process, she accidentally created three thought-forms. That alone might have been negotiable, as they weren't that strong. However, they soon became host to Despair, Hunger, and Flesh, Nephilim from the beginning of time.

The Nephilim awakened Lincoln, Lori, and their parents and nearly destroyed their family. Realizing they were bound to her spell, Lucy banished them by binding her soul. And for eight months, she lay dormant in her bed, struggling against the demons in her mind as life moved forward without her.

Eventually, Nyx's gift began to wane, and Lucy's grip on the demons wilted, allowing them to reach back into her world. There, they sought to re-establish their foothold. But, without egregors to possess, they used Lincoln and Rita as hosts instead. Their escape tore a hole in the fabric of reality, releasing Lucy from her nightmare.

Becoming despondent at the turn of events, Lucy had given herself over to the demons and allowed herself to become the final host. Only, this time, something was different. Egregors were soulless beings, making the perfect host. However, the demons had chosen humans as hosts, and two souls cannot exist in one body for very long.

Not without one destroying the other in the name of dominance. In their case, their family's strength of will rivaled that of the Nephilim, and they began to learn from each other and accept each other. When that happened, their souls began to intertwine, becoming one as they found a balance between their two natures.

There was nothing wrong with exploring the demonic depths of pleasure and pain, but their desires needed tempering against the love, empathy, and compassion that humanity offered. And a new race of beings was born, with one foot in either world. Deciding to let humans decide for themselves whether or not to join them, they chose to live in seclusion.

Eventually, and in need of company, they convinced Lynn, Junior, Lynn, Senior, and Leni to join them in becoming awakened beings. However, Leni got pregnant when Lincoln revived her, creating something new. Nephilim could not reproduce and instead used the tree of life to make empty vessels, which they imbued with portions of their souls.

However, Lincoln was a hybrid, and his seed was special. Passing his genetic material, he gave Leni what she needed to reproduce, along with a portion of his Nephilim essence. And the first case of natural reproduction between Nephilim occurred, a beacon of extraordinary spirit. Shining through the dimensions, it beckoned forth more Nephilim.

Unlike Desire, Hunger, and Flesh, the newly manifested demons were much more ancient. Being the first two Nephilim ever created, primordial ancestors to Nephilim and humanity alike, Despair and Sorrow intended to extinguish the child's light, fearing that the gods might harness her power to re-establish their hold over reality.

While Lucy pushed them back temporarily, weakened from their intrusion into this dimension, they would return soon. Unfortunately, they were nowhere near ready and may never be. Just one of them, Despair or Sorrow, wielded power more significant than the combined might of the hybrids. Had they not fused with their hosts, they might have stood a chance.

Finally, Lucy rose and wandered toward the viewing room where Leni rested while her child, and hugging the stone arch, she peered in at them. Tiffany was strong and seemed to be growing by the minute. She was roughly a year old, only an hour after birth. Furrowing her brow, Lucy stared at mother and child. What had they brought into the world, and what would she mean for their future?

Turning her head, she looked down the hall as the demonic side of her family fornicated with reckless abandon. Sighing, she wandered one room over and glanced at the human side of her family as they laughed, played, and giggled innocently. Could Nephilim and humans ever genuinely live side by side?

That was a question that Lucy was unprepared to face, much less answer. There were more immediate things to worry over, survival being of utmost importance. Gathering herself, she approached her brethren and called for their attention.

"Guys..." she demanded. "Stop fucking for a moment. We need to talk about what to do about Despair and Sorrow. We can't run forever; even if we do, they'll only build an army of awakened humans and hunt us down. Neither of us will survive."

Lynn Senior ceased his assault on Lynn Junior's asshole as Lincoln pulled out of his mother's sloppy mouth, cum still seeping from their massive cocks, drooling down their shafts until it fell to the floor.

"What do you think we should do?" asked Rita, coming to a stand as she licked her lips.

"I don't know," admitted Lucy, hanging her head. "They're too strong. We need to think out of the box."

"I say we just kick their asses!" L.J. spouted, slamming her fists on the urn stable. "It worked before, didn't it?"

"That won't work," Lincoln interjected. "They'll not only be expecting it, but their defenses are stronger than ours."

"Well, our powers aren't as strong as theirs either," pointed out Rita. "Even if we combine our strength, they'll deflect or absorb it."

"Wait..." chirped Lincoln, beginning to pace in a small circle, usually a sign of the boy forming one of his famous plans. "We're both human and Nephilim. Right?" he rhetorically posited. "So, what if we used both tactics?" he suggested.

"What do you mean?" inquired his demonic sister, supporting herself on the table.

"Look, you're the expert on game strategies. Right?" Lincoln prompted. "What if we form two divisions? The weaker of us, like you, Leni, and Dad, can use human methods while we hybrids use our powers. It'll divide their attention and confuse them. We open against Despair, using powers, making Sorrow think that's what we'll continue to do. We take her off guard with conventional methods, and if we're lucky, we can take her out, cutting their power in half."

"And then, we surround Despair and kick his ass..." muttered L.J. "I like it. Maybe I should consult you more often while coming up with plays."

"Right..." mumbled their father, folding his arms. "Only we don't have much in the way of conventional arms, just a few bats leftover from last time."

"Say, isn't there a gun shop downtown?" mused Rita. "I seem to recall seeing one while out shopping."

"Honey," complained Lynn Senior. "Those things are expensive, and we don't have that much money. Besides, we'd have to wait for the background checks. We don't have that kind of time."

"Maybe not," sighed Lucy, resting against the urn display. "But who says we have to pay for any of it? Just give me a few minutes in the store alone with the owner, and you'll be able to walk out with whatever we need."

"Well, that sounds good," interjected Rita. "But how are we going to transport it all? Our van's at home. Besides, you have no clothes. A nine-year-old girl can't simply walk into a store nude and not get noticed."

"Don't worry about that," replied their father. "I'll sneak home and get the van and some clothes for Lucy."

"Are you sure?" Lincoln complained. "We're stronger than you. Maybe I should go."

"No, that's exactly why it should be me," reassured the boy's father. "I'm weaker than you, and so is my aura. I have a better chance of getting past them undetected. Besides, if either of us gets caught, neither of us will return. I'd rather they lose me than you."

"Dad's right, Lincoln," nodded Lucy. "Though I don't like admitting it."

"It's settled then," announced Lynn Senior. "I'll be back as soon as I can. Oh, and Lucy..." he said, glancing at the diminutive succubus, "...I'm holding you to your promise of sex later. My cock is eager to explore the depths of your intestinal tract."

Chuckling, Lucy approached her dad, stood on her tiptoes, and licked his face, leaving long trails of thick saliva. "Well then," she cooed. "Let that be your motivation. Then, growing more sincere. "Please, hurry back..."

"I will," her father whispered, smiling at her before leaving the building and disappearing into the darkness beyond.

With night fallen and her husband gone, Rita set about finding suitable places for her children to settle for the night. Finding some linens used to wrap corpses with before cremation, she tucked her children into some empty drawers along one of the walls.

"I must admit," Lisa offered as her mother kissed her head. "This had been quite the experience."

"What do you mean?" cooed Rita, cocking her head at her daughter.

Lisa shrugged before replying. "All my life, I've put my faith in science," she admitted. "But now, I'm not sure what to believe. I see you standing there, but I don't believe it."

"It's alright, honey," Rita sighed. "We understand. It'll take a while to come to terms with it all. Just remember, whatever I am, I'm still your mother. And, whether you choose to believe in us or not, we believe in you."

"Hey, Mom?" whispered Luan as she struggled to get comfortable.

"Yes, honey?" answered the girl's demonic mother. "What is it?"

"What's it like?" Luan inquired, pulling at her linens. "Being a demon, I mean," she clarified a moment later. "Would I make a good demon?"

"That's a good question," sighed Rita approaching Luan's drawer. "The truth is that I don't know. But, you don't have to rush into such a decision. You have the rest of your life to consider it. As for what it's like, I can only give you a vague answer. It's like..." said Rita thoughtfully. "It's like, constantly being hungry and horny at the same time, never entirely satisfied, regardless of how often you get it. Only pain has the same effect as sex, so it gets complicated."

"Go on," requested Luna, hanging on her mother's words, desperate to understand what they were going through in hopes of understanding them better.

"It's like living in a dream," Rita continued. "Everything's a blur, yet crystal clear at the same time. And, we have to fight against our impulses constantly, lest they consume us and everyone around us. But, our newfound emotions bring a certain balance to it all."

"And, are you horny now?" Lana chirped, giggling and blushing under her sheet.

"Eternally..." sighed Rita, her grey mound flushing with fluid at the sound of her innocent young daughter's voice. "And while I'd love to explore the depths of your holes with my tongue, I can't. Not until you get awakened, and you're too immature yet to make that decision."

"That's so gross, Mom..." groaned Lola, wishing the conversation would end so she could sleep. "What if she had to go to the bathroom?"

Smirking, Rita chose not to answer that question, kissed her remaining children goodnight, and left the room. And as she returned to the main hall, she passed by Leni's room again and heard her moaning heavily. Wondering what she might be doing, she ducked into the room and saw that Tiffany had grown more in the last hour.

Now appearing around two years old, she'd started teething and had swallowed Leni's nipple and areola, now digging into the fatty tissue within Leni's breast. Leni's eyes were closed, and her head lolled in ecstasy.

"Uh, Leni?" Rita interjected, bringing her daughter from her sex-driven stupor. "Maybe you should switch sides and let the other one heal?"

"What?" Leni gasped, opening her eyes and looking down at herself and her child. "Oh!" she chirped, pulling Tiffany away, noticing her new teeth and small fangs as she nestled the babe between her bent legs. "I wondered why it suddenly felt so good."

Rita shook her head and kissed them both. "It looks like she's ready for solids, so I suppose I'll have to go hunting," she announced afterward. "I'll be back soon. In the meantime, try to get some rest. I'm sure Lincoln or Lucy would be glad to take her off your hands for a while."

"Okay, mom," chirped Leni. "Be safe."

Though hybrids and awakened didn't require sleep, Leni's energy was low from her nursing experience, and as she closed her eyes, she drifted off to sleep while Lucy, Lincoln, and L.J. took turns guarding the entrance to the mausoleum.

Vagrants and bored teenagers had a habit of visiting and vandalizing the place occasionally during the night, and they needed to head any trouble off at the pass. And come morning, they needed to vanish before the caretaker arrived.

Another hour later, Lynn and Rita arrived nearly simultaneously. When the former saw the latter walking up to the building carrying two limp cats and three squirrels, his curiosity piqued. Stepping from the van, he couldn't help but ask about her odd payload.

"Rita?" he asked, joining her. "What's with the animals?"

"They're for Tiff," Rita informed him, showing her catch. "She'd old enough for solid food now."

"Ah..." sighed her husband, still slightly confused. "Why doesn't Leni just let her feed on us?"

"I thought about that, but we might need our strength at any time," his demonic wife replied. "We can't afford to spend all our energy healing."

Again, Lynn nodded. "That makes sense..." he sighed, following her into the building.

They found their granddaughter, now appearing to be three years old, toddling around the room, babbling in the cutest harmonic voice ever. Though bearing many similarities to their own, Tiffany's voice was higher in octave and didn't shake the ground she walked on.

Once they'd fed the little girl, Lynn and Rita settled in to recuperate their energy while waiting for their turn on guard duty. And as the night wore on, they checked in on Leni and Tiffany. Over the next two hours, the child had grown considerably and had found her voice, not wanting to shut up, even for a minute.

After another five hours, she'd become a sassy ten-year-old who was only interested in bugging her aunts and uncles as they tried vainly to sleep in their stone boxes. At that point, she stopped aging, though none were sure why. Perhaps it was the onset of puberty.

Regardless, her tail, horns, and fangs were coming in nicely as she danced through the old building's hall, her tiny hooves making annoying tapping sounds against the marble tiles. When she wasn't in demon form, her hair mimicked her mother's, though it was a slightly lighter golden blonde, and her eyes were light brown.

Her hair turned a deep, inky black when she assumed demonic form, as did all the demons. Her horns and tail were a bit longer than Lucy's, but Tiffany's wouldn't stay still, unlike her aunt's. Instead, it flitted about, sometimes slowly, other times in large jerks.

And, whether she liked it or not, she'd inherited her parents' lust and found her vagina's constant leaking entirely unbearable. Moaning, she'd constantly beg her father or grandfather for attention in hopes of getting satisfied, but neither was willing to expend that much energy just yet. Pouting, she'd run off to find one of the human boys to "play" with.

Fortunately, Haiku had enough brains to deter her male companions, reminding them what they'd have to go through and what might happen if they engaged her, not to mention Leni's wrath, should she not approve. And, despite their pubescent desires and weakness to Tiffany's sexual aura, they managed to resist, sending her right back to her relatives, innocently pouting.

Finally, morning broke, and as Rita finished her turn on watch, she woke everyone up and passed out the clothes that her husband had brought from their garage. They were old, and some didn't fit exactly right, but they would have to do.

"Alright, gang," sighed Lynn Senior, rallying his troops. "Let's get out of here..."
