I screamed when I saw the sun for the first time. There was a big ball of fire in the sky that burned to look at and the stars were gone, I just didn't know the sky was supposed to do that.
It was only several minutes until Diamond came to check up on me and Coal, who was diligently and horribly explaining new concepts to me, like plants, the ocean, and water. Once he explained to them what I wanted to do, they sent us both outside on my first mission. We were to asses the current state of the abandon colony ship, and ensure that it was still secure from terrestrial acquisition.
