The story starts on the day that the young boy would undergo a ritual to bond with one of the royal trees, his name is Kimito Masaki Tatsuki Jurai. He was one of the few children to bond with the seed of a first-generation tree, thus making him a potential successor to be the next Emperor the Fifth in line. For strange reasons, he is also one of the few people to bond with one of the daughters of the child of Washu, the cabbit known as Ryo-Ohki.
His little friend was a cabbit by the name of Ryonoki. She like her many siblings and cousins could change into vast warships of immense power, and having been bonded to the tree this became part of Ryonoki increasing her power immensely, only one other had this ever happened to and that was the one that bonded and married Admiral Seina Yamada, Galactic Pirate Hunter, and most decorated officer in the history of the Galaxy Police.
The time on Jurai was very fun for Kimito he loved this world and all the things he learned on the planet. but eventually his parents decided to leave their home world when he was five years old the family decided to move to Earth. They decided to go on vacation such as today when he got his ship.
He is an extremely friendly and helpful guy who has made many friends in his school, always willing to help those in need and defend people against bullies. He was practically a prince in shining armor to make people in his class, but to those that wanted to make others fear them and gain their obedience through intimidation and force, he was a demon from their worst nightmare.
If the girls in his school had something to complain about, they could never find him or his family during winter or summer break, since he and his family traveled to some unknown place during his vacation. They could still talk to him on the phone but for some strange reason, he was never allowed to tell anyone where he and his family went for their family vacations.
Eri a friend that he made in Elementary school had been one of the girls he saved from bullies, his constant encouragement had made her confident enough to pursue her dream. Eri had been a person who loved anime; therefore, she dreamed that one day she would become the voice actress for both anime and video games. As time went by she eventually gave him some of these games appear to try and get Kimito to finally recognize that she was deeply in love with him.
As they finally got ready for high school they were happily ready to make new friends considering Kimito had a few male friends but sadly the boys from high school knew about his family. So the boys from high school were afraid that he would steal away the other girls from the boys and so the boys often made secret vicious rumors to make him appear less desirable to potential lovers. The king of Jurai ordered them to have their son learn how to be a noble which worked out in their favor. Kimito's parents after meeting with the director of an all-girls school, it was decided that Kimito would go there to this school to help the girls in that school learn some common sense about how commoners live.
He was in class when his friend asked him that since they are getting ready for lunch and since he is getting something for himself why didn't he buy something for her while he is at it. Since she is his girlfriend, she gave him five dollars to buy her some food. Since he is such a nice guy he agreed, and stepped outside the classroom heading towards the cafeteria.
A group of men in exercise gear ran towards him, as he sees he pulls out his Bokken and was ready to defend himself, the men sensing the killer's intent froze thinking it was not a good idea to try to grab him and they explain they are here to bring him to the new school he has been transferred to, Kimito told them he just got accepted to this high school how the hell is he getting transferred like this without any notice?
He is told that maybe his parents could tell him as he pulls out his phone and calls them, "Sadly they are correct you have been sent to a noble school to learn to be noble by order of the King of Jurai, it is an old girl's school, the principal asked us to have you teach those girls some common sense since they been sheltered their entire lives, well I know this is upsetting you son, but think about it this way, you can find many eligible young ladies to start your harem, so a win-win." And without giving him time to respond they hang up.
He looks at the man, "First things first, I am not gay, I will go to that school so lead me to the car, but so help me if that guy keeps thrusting his crotch at me, he might not live to regret it. So give me some space or lose a limb, got it? Good, now where is the car?" Ryonoki jumped on his shoulder and they both walked toward the limousine.
Some of the men asked him if he has a muscle fetish, to which he didn't deny it, he did appreciate finely tuned muscles for he knows how much effort it takes. The drive was mostly then discussing different means of exercising, much to their shock he actually can bench press more than they can. He first mentioned this when one guy told him of his extreme workout to only be told that it was a nice warm-up.
As they reached the school called Seikain Girls Academy he was told that he needed to visit the school director, to be told what he was expected to do there. He meets a girl he once knew as the daughter of a rich family, and a beautiful woman who was the director, "Welcome Mr. Kimito you have been invited as the common sample to our school. We have been told you need to learn to be a noble since you are a prince, you have lived as a commoner, you are expected to form a harem, we will teach you to be a proper noble and you will help the girls learn to live in the modern world, and if any of the girls truly fall in love with you, you may consider them asking them to become part of your harem."
As they finish telling him that his childhood friend who was dressed as a maid keeps staring at him as they walk towards what seems to be the place where the initiation ceremony for new and returning students is happening. "I am the class representative, I am here to welcome returning students and new students, I truly hope that we may forge friendships as we learn in our classes, but there is something I must inform you, we have been told that a boy has been invited to our school."
"This young man will attend classes with as our schools' common sample, it was explained that he will help us understand how commoners live." As Kimito walked through the door clearly to stand on a platform. "I will like to introduce to you, Kimito Kagurazaka, this young man shall teach us about how commoners live and how we as nobles can interact with them, please give him a warm welcome."
Miyuki told him she is his assigned maid and she would be there to help him get used to life in the academy, but first and foremost he needs to go to class, as she guided him towards his assigned classroom. He introduces himself to the girls in his class, he immediately gets a phone call from someone, and as he answers the girls are shocked to hear him have a conversation with someone else.
Miyuki explained that Kimito is using what is called a cell phone, or smartphone considering what model he is using, they are amazed to see that it is so small and dainty, asking if they could hold it, seeing that he cleared up the misunderstanding with Eri he had no problem with them looking at his phone. They were amazed at how small, the thing was and how little it weighs, as Miyuki told them they do need to give the phone back to Kimito since it is his.
They of course had no clue about how to do that, Kimito sees why he is needed these girls may behave like good manners young ladies but they have little to no common sense, it was rather painful for him to watch them pick up a gift bag, place some soft packaging, writing a detailed letter with a fountain pen and placing his phone in the bag only to close it with a matching ribbon.
"Thank you very much for letting us hold your phone." As she said this she accidentally tripped walking towards him, and almost out of instinct he picked up as she was falling and caught her in a bridal carry. The other girls were blushing as they were amazed how he could do something like that with so little effort.
As he helps her stand on her own she thanked him for preventing her fall, "You didn't need to do any of that, you could have just handed to me my phone as I handed it to you, that is how commoners do that, as he said this another girl grabbed him by his hand and started to pull him away from the classroom. As she pulled him to follow her along they find themselves outside of the building where the classrooms are located she attempts to kiss him and he pushes her off.
She demands that he kiss her, that she heard in an upper-class tea party if a commoner kisses a girl all her wishes come true, to which he told her that it is not true at all, and asked her who is she going to believe him or an upper-class student who probably never left the academy? She told him that he could be lying, and he told her that it was not his fault if she thought that kissing her lips was the same as rubbing a magic lamp.
"Look there is no such a thing that grants wishes at least not on any planet that I know of if wishes were so easily granted things like wars, disease, poverty, and crimes would not even exist. In this world, if you want something you must make an effort to make that happen on your own, you want something then if the thing can happen you must put in the effort to achieve it."
"Secondly you are mistaken, I am not a commoner, I am royal, a prince actually, I was invited into this school to educate you girls about some common sense and real-life knowledge since from what I have seen the students of this academy severely lack some very simple common sense. As a royal, I have to educate those of lower status. Just what exactly did you think forcing yourself on me trying to steal a kiss from me would gain you?"
She said that she wanted to wish to be the most popular girl in school. Kimito told her that it made little sense in trying to wish to be suddenly becoming the most popular student, instead, she should try to become friends with as many students as possible, be there to help them and get along with the others, and if she is the most friendly and most helpful student in the academy that would make her popular with the students.
She said that she couldn't do that because she will just end up saying what she is thinking and this would cause the other girls to consider her strange if not freaky or they would avoid her thinking that she insulted them. Kimito could see that she was in a real problem, she wanted friends but the manner of her speech caused her to be afraid to either make the person she tried to befriend to be repulsed or feel insulted which was the mistaken attitude to have.
"Look, it is common sense that a friend is a person who will accept you for who you are for good or ill. As to how to form a friendship, how about beginning with a nice introduction, I am Kimito, I am a new student in this school, would you like to be friends with me?" He stretches his hand attempting a handshake.
"I am Aika, and yes I want to be friends with you." She mimics how he has his hand, seeing this he walks closer and he takes hold of her hand almost causing her to become scared till he begins to shake their closed hands up and down and let go of her hand, "This is a form of greeting called a handshake, see not so difficult to become friends is it?" The other students in the class were listening to what he was saying and begin to nod their heads as they understood. As he thinks to himself why does that name her face seem so familiar but for the life of him he could not remember.
"As you can see you have many opportunities to form friendships with these young ladies and help each other as you do that, this will eventually make you be able to enjoy your time in this academy and maybe even have friends and have people there for each other for your time in this academy and the rest of your life. Like I said I am here to educate you on common sense. So ladies if you have any questions, be sure to ask me."
"As for me classes start tomorrow and I must find the place where I will be staying at the dorms. Now if you will excuse me, I hope you and these ladies have a pleasant time." As he began to walk the maid that was assigned to him began to nod her head almost in an approving fashion, as she told him to follow her and she would guide him to where his assigned room would be in the dorms.
It turns out that they went as far as to make a complete replica of his room, right down to his favorite movie posters, such as his Rocky and Terminator posters. "This room was made for your comfort it was designed so that you will be able to reside in the dorms, we spared no expense to ensure that you will find this place as comfortable as if it was your second home."
He looked at her and began to laugh, "Miyuki I have some questions for you, why are you being so formal with me? We have known each other since we were both kids, and why are you a maid? As I recall your family is very powerful and rich in this world, so why are you a maid? Did your family get into trouble? Lost all of your wealth? If so you could have told me or my family we could have tried to help you."
Miyuki looked at him and told him her family is doing quite well, and no they never had such tragedy or problems, the reason she is a maid is that when they were young Kimito told her that he liked maids. So hearing this she chose to become a maid, to which he did remind her that when he said that he was just a little kid, he probably didn't know any better back then, she immediately became upset and demanded to know if he had a dislike of maids, to which he told her that in fact, that is not the case at all, he likes and respects maids for their kind-hearted service and aid their provide, he knows that they do work very hard.
"I should know in the main palace of the Royal Family of Jurai there are no less than close to two thousand maids working in the palace at any given time during the day, so if anyone knows how tough the work of a maid is I certainly know, so of course I like, appreciate and offer my sincere respect to people with such strong work ethic and dedication."
This made her relax somewhat until she wanted to ask him something that she felt needed to be clarified, she asked him about the unsavory rumor that he was gay and had a muscle fetish, Kimito hates that sort of rumor, and he knows full well why his male classmates would do this or at least he had his suspicions.
"As a member of Royalty, and one in line to possibly become the next emperor, I am expected to form a harem, this will show that by having a stable and harmonious relationship with said harem I am capable of handling the difficulties and responsibilities of being emperor, but the people who spread these false rumors have done so either because they fear that women near me would find me more attractive than they are, thus make it impossible to find a girlfriend or are people who are doing so to potentially make it impossible for me to have a harem thereby ending the possibility of me becoming the next emperor."
"In other words, it is rumors spread by insecure young men to make me seem less attractive to a potential lover, or they are people who are either betraying the Jurai Empire or outsiders that wish to disrupt the Empire for their nefarious goals. See, as for muscle fetish, indeed I do appreciate the look and presence of well-defined muscles, I happen to know the level of hard work and dedication that goes into a person obtaining such a result so therefore it must be respected."
"That is why two of my posters are one is of the depiction of a boxer who was known to be the heavyweight champion of the world, and the other is none other than Arnold Schwarzenegger a man who is well recognized for his achievements as a bodybuilder called Mr. Olympia which means he is the greatest bodybuilder in the entire world. How could I not admire such hard work and effort?"
As she understood she told him that she would wake him up the following day and that she would be taking care of his personal needs from this day onward, as he left another person came to knock on his door, it was his new friend Aika who apparently came to talk with him about something rather important or so he guessed from how urgent and nervous she was.
"You know I was thinking that you want to teach the girls in this school how commoners live and have common sense, and I want to become friends with everyone so that I can become the most popular girl in the school, so I figured that we could work together since our goals seem to help each other, I am thinking of forming the Commoners Club, a club where members can learn about what you want to teach and I will have a chance to become friends with the members thus become popular."
She immediately noticed a device on the stand right next to his bed and tried to turn it on, "This is a PlayStation portable also called a Playstation Vita or PS Vita, you can turn it on by pressing the button on the side and you will notice it has games installed in it, the buttons where the image appears are the controls."
She was amazed at the quality of images and the complexity of the games on it, "I think you are right, making that club could help us both, so I have no objection to forming a club at the academy to teach common sense to the other students, from the way they handled something as simple as returning my phone it is painfully clear they are in desperate need of some common sense."
As the day finally ended he decided to turn in for the day after he ate some light dinner and took a bath, he woke up the next morning to see that Miyuki was waiting for him to wake up saying that if he slept a little longer she could relax for a bit more since her work as a made was so very stressful and demanding, he immediately got up and as soon as he did Miyuki began to undress him, to which he told her that he could do that himself.
Miyuki protested telling him that in the academy every single student was assigned a maid, and that maid will help their students get dressed and do all sorts of things that are part of the academy rules and as a student, he is obligated to follow these rules.
Miyuki told him since he wishes not to cause a commotion that maybe they should exit the dorm using the backdoor of the dorms thus drawing less attention. As soon as he opened the door he hit someone who was trying to enter the very same door, he of course apologized but it was no use it was Aika who told him that this is her door. "Watch where you are going that is my door."
Kimito told her it was the back exit to the dorms they live in so technically the door belongs to the academy. "So you want to avoid making a scene, just like me, alright look I need some help here too, I have no clue about the rules in this academy so how about it, I teach you about common sense things, and you teach me about the rules in the academy?" Aika told him that it was just a hassle for her and would gain her very little.
"As for wanting to know the rules, just as Reiko, you know the girl that you prevented from falling in class and carried her like a princess, she is Reiko, she is the class rep, so she will be more than willing to teach you everything and anything you want to know about."
As she mentioned this Aika became rather upset as she walked away from him and headed toward their classroom. As he headed there himself he met the lady that he lent his phone, "I never got a chance to introduce myself my name is Reiko Arisugawa, but you can call me Reiko, I am the class representative for our class, so if you have any problems or questions feel free to ask me, and I will be glad to help you."
He immediately began to notice that Aika became rather upset after seeing how friendly Reiko was with him which for some strange reason it was not something he was expecting, it was almost like she was a jealous girlfriend, and yet he and Aika didn't have that sort of romantic relationship.
The classes were rather simplistic truth be told, it was literature mostly done through student reading to show the proper way to read a passage and explanation of the piece of literature, flower arrangements were nothing extravagant but then again he spent most of his time with his family and that with Yosho learning the family sword style Tenchi-Ken. Flower arrangements were things women in the royal family did as fun like Ayeka and Sasami. It was not something he had much practice with, but he still knew how to do it.
As the day continued they went to physical education where track and field was a major part of their education since one of the things was the long jump, high jump, and even running, Reiko was the most accomplished person in PE since she had many people who admired her long jump and other results she had in the other activities, however, Aika was keeping a distance from the other students almost afraid, and when it came time for her long jump she got so nervous that she tripped and fell face first into the sand not making that much distance in her jump.
Kimito immediately went to her, "Look you are too focused on what the other girl's opinion of you is, you are therefore distracted that is what caused you to trip like that, instead of focusing on what others say or think of you, you should focus on what you are doing, if you are doing the long jump focus on the jump and ignore everything else other than the signal when to start."
"If you fail, learn about what you did wrong, and try to do it better the next time, if you learn from your mistakes, then it doesn't matter how many times you fail to do something, as long as you keep trying."
