Cleo is not weak anymore
Cleo Annabelle Sertori is in her car on the way to university for the very first time.
She's no longer the shy insecure girl she once were, having found solid positive confidence.
After high school, Cleo was accepted to South Grand Plain's University of Science.
That's where she is going right now.
Cleo drive her violet car there.
Her car is a violet vintage sportscar, a gift from Zane Bennet, the boyfriend of Rikki Chadwick, one of Cleo's best friends.
"I hope I can do this." says Cleo.
Over the years since she was 14, Cleo has matured a lot.
She isn't a kid anymore.
She has become an adult.
Today she wear a white formal ladies' suit.
Her hair is up in a semi-formal bun and she wear violet sunglasses.
Judging by her smile, Cleo is a happy woman on this day.
She is most lkely excited about going to university to learn all she need to be equal to her boyfriend Lewis when it comes to science.
Because she got top marks on her high school final exams, Cleo was able to get a spot at South Grand Plain's University of Science, which is one of the best science unversities on the southern half of the country.
"Since my boyfriend is a science-expert I have to study hard." says Cleo.
Now it's clear she's happy.
We can tell by her voice.
"Awww." says Cleo.
She feel quite ready for all the challenges that university has in store for her.
Also the fact that she got her spot at South Grand Plain's University of Science makes her happy.
SGPUS was her first choice for university after a suggestion from Lewis.
South Grand Plain's University of Science is a top-level school so it is very hard to get a spot there.
Only those with really high marks, a lot of luck or who are rich get to study at South Grand Plain's University of Science.
When Cleo finally reach the South Grand Plain's University of Science main campus the sun is already going down.
It only takes 21 minutes for Cleo to find her dorm, which is the Alpha Tango Mango dorm, the best female dorm on campus.
Cleo was placed in that dorm by luck, since it was the only dorm with open rooms left.
She's happy to be in the finest dorm, but would've been okay with any dorm as she's a girl with lower demands.
Her room turns out to be cute and cozy aka perfect for sweet Cleo.
"Oh..." says Cleo when she finds a photo on the wall.
It's a photo of a girl.
Cleo assume it is the previous girl who lived in the room.
"Alright. Nice." says a happy Cleo.
She is a bit sweaty so she change clothes.
"Better...much better." says Cleo.
She like her room a lot.
"Awww." says Cleo.
It is clear that Cleo still is very girlie.
Which is not a bad thing at all.
She is less childish though than she used to be.
And she's no longer a mermaid either, since she, Rikki, Bella and Emma all gave up their magical life to be just normal women instead.
Each of them still has a tiny bit of mermaid left in their soul and that allows them to sense and see things regular humans cannot.
They are considered human now though and what little is left inside them from being mermaids is only the remains of what once were, the past that they've moved on from.
None of them have powers anymore.
"Oh..." says Cleo when someone knocks gently on her door.
"Hi." says Cleo when she opens the door and sees an older girl.
"Hi." says the older girl.
The older girl is Alexis Khanderra, the dorm leader, being a top student in her final year at the university.
"Hi. My name's Cleo Sertori, a new girl." says Cleo.
"Welcome, Cleo. I'm Alexis Khanderra, leader of this dorm. It's my duty to represent the teachers on a day to day basis, making sure things stay nice and good." says Alexis.
"Okay." says Cleo with a sweet smile.
Alexis is a tall beautiful woman with long straight black hair, smooth spotless semi-pale skin and blue eyes.
She also has big boobs and her voice is clear and strong.
She wear a black leather t-shirt, pink latex tights and white shoes.
"Yeah. I hope you like your room. One of my friends Tanya Hansen had it before you. She graduated last semester. I miss her a lot." says Alexis.
"Is that her?" says Cleo as she gesture to the photo on the wall.
"Yes, it is." says Alexis.
Cleo removes the photo from the wall and hands the photo to Alexis.
"Thank you, girl." says Alexis.
Alexis seem sweet.
"No problem. She was your friend so you should have that photo." says Cleo.
"Alright." says Alexis.
"Yeah." says Cleo.
"Party to welcome the new students in 45 minutes. See ya there, girl." says Alexis.
Alexis leave.
"Hmm...party..." mumbles Cleo.
She's never been a party-girl, but she feel like she should go it.
Cleo look through her clothes, looking for something that would be nice to wear at a party.
"Maybe this..." says Cleo when she finds a violet dress, the same one she wore at the high school graduation-dance.
She decides to wear that one.
Cleo put up her hair in a semi-formal bun and put diamond ear rings on as well.
The ear rings was a b-day gift from Lewis 2 years ago.
"Awww." says Cleo when she look at herself in the mirror.
45 minutes later.
Cleo enter a large room, which is where the party is.
"Hello, Cloe." says Alexis.
Alexis now wear a red dress, similar to the red dress Zane gave to Rikki.
"Hello, Alexis." says Cleo.
Now it's clear how beautiful Cleo is.
Over the years she's grown from girl to woman, gained some meat in all the correct places.
You can tell that she's not a kid anymore.
"Nice dress." says Alexis.
"Thanks." says Cleo.
"Maybe a flaming drink to celebrate?" says Alexis.
"No, thanks. I don't drink alcohol." says Cleo.
"Okay...sorry." says Alexis.
"It's fine, you wanted to be friendly. You couldn't know that I don't like any alcohol at all." says Cleo.
"Guess so. Anyways, welcome to Alpha Tango Mango dorm, the best babe-dorm on campus. We're the female elite around here...with a few exceptions." says Alexis.
"Exceptions...?" says Cleo.
"Indeed, girl. See those 3 over there? They are Nikki Benzaarah, Amy Fox and Kendra Warren. They're the bad girls. I try to keep them under control, but it's hard, even for me. Avoid them, whenever you can. They treat nearly everyone like crap, in particular new girls, such as you." says Alexis.
"Thanks for the heads-up on that." says Cleo.
"No problem. I'm nice." says Alexis.
"Are there any specific rules here that I need to be aware of...?" says Cleo.
"Well...nothing too complicated. Alcohol's allowed, as long as it's not home-brew and such, for everyone of legal adult age. Guns and explosives are 100 % forbidden. Love-interests may visit on weekends only for sex and just quality-time. If you wanna watch porn, do so on low volume or with headphones. Clothes that cover breasts and vaginas must be worn in all public areas and common spaces. You may hang out naked in your own room though. I believe I remembered everything." says Alexis.
"I understand." says Cleo.
"Good. Oh...and all of us in the best dorm get free access to internet, TV and phone." says Alexis.
"Nice." says Cleo.
"Yeah." says Alexis.
21 minutes later.
"Hello. My name's Cerah Andersen and I'm new." says a girl as she walk up to Cleo.
"I'm Cleo and I'm a new girl too." says Cleo.
"Sweet. Nice to meet you." says Cerah.
"Rare name you have." says Cleo.
"I'm named after Cerah Gordon, daughter of the singer Henri Gordon." says Cerah.
"Okay. Sweet." says Cleo.
"Thanks." says Cerah.
"Welcome to Alpha Tango Mango. My name's Alexis Khanderra, leader of this dorm." says Alexis.
"Hello." says Cerah.
"Hello. Our dorm is the best one for girls." says Alexis.
"I know. It's an honor for me to be in it." says Cerah.
"Awesome." says Alexis.
Kim ( Cleo's little sister ) would puke if she saw Cleo right now.
The sister / sister relation between Kim and Cleo is still as crappy as ever.
Kim claim that Cleo cheated to get into South Grand Plain's University of Science.
Cleo didn't cheat.
To do so goes against Cleo's personality.
She is a true good girl and as such has never cheated on any school-test in her entire life.
She could never live with the kind of guilt she'd get from cheating.
On the other hand, Kim cheat a lot.
Unfortunately Cleo's parents are unaware of the fact that Kim is a girl who cheat on her tests often.
"Awww." says a happy Cleo.
Luck is not with Cleo because she is so beautiful.
This wouldn't usually be a problem at all, but in this case it is.
Her beauty makes the bad girls see her as a threat so that means they wanna bully her.
Nikki Benzaarah, Amy Fox and Kendra Warren walk over to Cleo.
"Hey! New girl, how the crap did you get accepted at this university?" says Nikki, all rude and bitchy.
"Uh..." says Cleo, who still isn't tough enough to stand up to bad girls on her own.
Perhaps she could if she'd still had mermaid-powers, but she no longer have those.
Cleo, Emma, Rikki and Bella are humans.
The 4 of them gave up their powers and lives as mermaids shortly before the Mako moon-cave collapsed, preventing access to the moon-pool.
"Did ye swallow your tongue?" says Nikki, getting posh, but is still rude.
"No! Leave me like alone." says Cleo, trying to be as tough as Rikki nearly always is.
"Some backbone, eh? Not bad, but not sexy enough." says Nikki, clearly a bit surprised.
She expected Cleo to be very weak.
"I am not a loser!" says Cleo, doing her best to be confident.
Nikki, Amy and Kendra walk away from Cleo.
"Wow! That was quite impressive." says Alexis.
"Thanks." says Cleo, all cute and sweet.
"I've never seen any new girl stand up to the campus-bitches in such a way before." says Alexis.
"Just tried to act all hardcore like one of my friends back home." says Cleo.
"Okay. Even so, it was still amazing." says Alexis.
By standing up to the bad girls, Cleo has already made a name for herself on campus her very first day.
"Yay. Thanks so much." says Cleo.
"You're welcome, girl." says Alexis.
"Awww!" says a happy Cleo, all cute and sweet.
"Perhaps I should make you my deputy. Your ability to deal with the bad girls would be of great use to me." says Alexis.
"Thanks, but little me don't want all that responsibility." says Cleo.
"Don't worry. The responsibility is mine, you'll just help me and such." says Alexis.
"Oh...! Then maybe I'd take the job." says Cleo.
"Such a position comes with certain nice benefits that you might want." says Alexis.
"What kind of benefits?" says Cleo.
"You get free food and drinks in the campus-bar, lots of discounts in the on-campus store and access to restricted locations." says Alexis.
"Let me consider this." says Cleo.
"Alright, Cleo." says Alexis.
3 days later.
"I've decided to accept that offer for becoming your deputy." says Cleo.
"Nice. I'm glad you want the job because no one else do." says Alexis.
"Have you asked others?" says Cleo surprised.
"Over 12 people and all of them said no. Here, this shows that you're my deputy, girl." says Alexis as she gives Cleo a silver badge.
Cleo pin the badge to her tank top.
"Sweet. Now you're a pretty big deal." says Alexis.
Alexis has a similar badge that she wear on her belt.
"Time to walk the daily inspection-round. I prefer to begin on the top floor of the building and work my way down." says Alexis.
Cleo follow Alexis up to the top floor.
"Welcome to the top floor. This is the floor I live on by the way. My room's right over there." says Alexis.
"Okay." says Cleo.
Alexis and Cleo begins the inspection-round.
"These rooms belongs to the bad girls." says Alexis. "That door leads to a common room where we often drink beer and watch porn. Also we sometimes have poker-nights and such there sometimes. And in that room we have pool tables and that sort of thing."
"Alright, Alexis." says Cleo. "What's in that room?"
"It's our soundproof room for those who are loud during sex. People who have loud sex can have it in there so the rest of us won't have to hear it all, Cleo." says Alexis.
"Uh...okay. I'd never have need to go in there." says Cleo.
"Everything seems fine here. Let's move on to the next floor. This is where our kitchen is. And next to that is a small gym for the ladies who work out a lot." says Alexis.
"What about that door, across from the gym?" says Cleo.
"I never go in there. It's a haunted room. 30 years ago a slut was killed inside that very room and she haunt it ever since." says Alexis.
"Ghosts? I don't believe in things like that." says Cleo.
"Neither did I until I saw her myself a few months ago. She was damn creepy." says Alexis.
"Oh..." says Cleo.
"Anyways...over here's a room where we can play video games and all that fun stuff." says Alexis.
"Cute. What's in there...?" says Cleo.
"I cannot tell. We're not allowed in that room at all, orders from Professor Gardner." says Alexis.
"Okay." says Cleo.
"This door leads to an emergency-exit. And the door next to that one is a door to a storage where we store a bunch of random things." says Alexis.
"I understand." says Cleo.
"Seems as if everything's good here, let's go." says Alexis.
Alexis and Cleo move on to the next floor.
"Uh...Alexis, my bed broke last night..." says a girl named Melissa Black.
"Got it. I'll get Janitor John come and fix that for you, girl." says Alexis.
"Thanks." says Melissa.
"Sure. Cleo, meet Melissa Kate Black, a friend of mine. Meli, this is the new girl Cleo and she's my deputy." says Alexis.
"Cool. Hi, Cleo." says Melissa.
"Hello." says Cleo.
"And now, Cleo. Over here are the lesbian girls' rooms. And that door back there leads to what used to be a bathroom." says Alexis.
"What about that other door?" says Cleo.
"It's the door to Tanya Morchordiah's room. She is...uh...'special' and doesn't spend time with other people outside of class." says Alexis.
"Hope she's okay." says Cleo.
"Don't worry. She actually is a top-student...very smart. She just doesn't do well in social situations." says Alexis.
"I'm kinda shy too." says Cleo.
"Yes, but Tanya is so much more than simply shy. She has an extreme case of social anxiety. She does great in class. Anywhere else she unfortunately has a huge problem." says Alexis.
"People should help her." says Cleo.
"We've requested for help to be assigned to her, but no one has been given that job even though we submitted our request nearly 5 months ago." says Alexis.
"Hello, Alexis. I wanna reserve the soundproof room on Friday night 'cause my boyfriend is coming by." says a girl named Dani Watson.
"I'll make sure the room's available for you." says Alexis.
"Sweet." says Dani.
"No problem, D." says Alexis.
Cleo blush a bit.
"Hmm...seems like it's all good here on this floor as well." says Alexis.
"Uh...is that supposed to be like that?" says Cleo when she sees a mysterious door that is only a tuny bit open.
"Absolutely not." says Alexis as she quickly close the door and then lock it.
"Master-key...?" says Cleo surprised.
"Yeah. Sure, may seem weird that I as a student have one, but the dorm leaders and their deputies are the only students allowed master-keys." says Alexis.
Cleo follow Alexis to the next floor.
"On this floor we don't have many girls at the time. Most of those who used to have rooms here graduated last semester." says Alexis.
"I understnad. Does your master-key open the forbidden door you showed me?" says Cleo.
"No. My key only opens the doors to rooms I'm allowed in." says Alexis.
"Okay." says Cleo.
"That room's a beta common room, which we don't use much. Next to that is an older bathroom. And that room right there is where we keep cleaing-supplies and such. In here we store old crappy items that people no longer use and in this room we can dance and have fun." says Alexis.
"Alexis, what was in the room you closed and locked the door to?" says Cleo.
"I'm not allowed to tell, sorry. Freshman students are not supposed to know that." says Alexis.
"Okay." says Cleo.
"Back here is a room where old used books are kept. And the room across from that is a room that used to belong to a girl named Tarah McLeod. She graduated last semester." says Alexis.
"What was unique about her?" says Cleo.
"She was blind. How did you know she wasn't just any random person?" says Alexis.
"You mentioned her room in particular. That means she wasn't just any student." says Cleo.
"You're very smart. I like that." says Alexis.
"Awww! Thanks." says a happy Cleo, all cute.
"I see no sign of problem, so let's go to the next floor, girl." says Alexis.
Cleo and Alexis go down to the next and final floor.
"This is the last floor. Most girls have rooms here. Such as you, for example. And as you know, here's a computer-room. Over there we have a room which is used to store books as well as other things." says Alexis.
"Okay." says Cleo.
"Yeah. And finally that room used to belong to the professor in charge of our dorm back when heads of dorms was still a thing which it's not anymore." says Alexis.
"What's in that room now?" says Cleo.
"Nothing. Let me show you." says Alexis as she unlock and open the door.
Cleo can see that there's only a bed and a couch in the room, not even a table.
"That's all and since things appear to be fine on this floor we're done." says Alexis.
"Alright." says Cleo.
"Yeah. Almost forgot...here's your master-key. Use it ina responsible way. If you use it for bad stuff you won't get to keep it." says Alexis.
"Thanks. I promise to be a good girl, as I've always been." says Cleo.
"Nice." says Alexis.
"Yay. Cute." says Cleo, all adorable.
"True." says Alexis.
Cleo goes to class.
She study well, being the good girl we all know her as.
Cleo enjoy school.
3 weeks later.
Cleo does the dorm daily inspection-round without Alexis for the first time because Alexis is sick.
As Alexis tought her, Cleo starts on the top floor.
"Hi, where's Alexis?" says a girl.
"Unfortunately sick, so I'm on my own today." says Cleo.
"Okay." says the girl.
"Yeah. Things seem okay. Do you have anything to report?" says Cleo.
"No. I'm fine." says the girl.
"Good." says Cleo.
Dressed in a black tank top, blue pants and white shoes, Cleo continues the dorm daily inspection-round without problems.
She does a great job.
"Alright. No issues found, all is sweet and correct." says Cleo as she write down what she says on her small notepad.
Cleo takes notes so she can report the dorm's status to Alexis.
"Hmmm, let's see..." says Cleo as she walk down to next floor.
Everything seems to be okay there.
This makes Cleo smile cute.
"Okay. No problems." says Cleo, taking notes again.
The next day.
"Here." says Cleo as she gives her notes to Alexis.
"Thanks, Cleo." says Alexis.
"I wrote down what I saw." says Cleo.
"Don't worry. I've full trust in you." says Alexis.
"Awww! Thanks." says a happy Cleo.
"You're welcome, my deputy." says Alexis, being happy too.
"Okay, Alexis." says Cleo.
"Now, let's do today's inspection-round." says Alexis as she snap her badge to her belt.
"Yeah." says Cleo.
"I hope we won't run into any probleems." says Alexis.
"Agree so much." says Cleo.
"Thank you." says Alexis.
"Yay." says Cleo.
Unfortunately for Alexi and Cleo, things don't begin so smoothy.
Alexis suddenly see brown water float out from beneath a door.
She and Cleo then feel a nasty strong stink.
They figure out that the girl in the room has overfloaded the toilet by accident.
"We must take care of this, it's our job." says Alexis.
Alexis and Cleo put on thick rubber gloves and rainboots.
Alexis then unlock the door.
