It was a warm Sunday morning in Domino. Joey was off in Brooklyn becoming a professional duelist, Yugi was busy inventing his own game, Tea was in Manhattan studying dance, and Tristian was at work in his father's factory. Kaiba was still in Domino interviewing a familiar blonde woman with shining purple eyes. She was dressed in a purple dress and heels, looking stunning for her interview.
"Thank you for coming to this interview." Kaiba said. "Listen, I brought you here because I thought you would be a perfect model to greet people at the KaibaCorp Expo, advertising our Duel Disk technology."
"Please." Mai said. "I am not just a pretty face." She moved her left leg above her right leg to hold a classy sitting position. "I deserve more than to be some showgirl advertising your product."
"Since you constantly hung out with that Wheeler dweeb before he moved to his hometown of Brooklyn, that's all I can give to you." Kaiba said, still holding a grudge against Joey. "Although I can make you my assistant, and I will treat you as equal, so much better than Joey ever could." Mai's eyes widened.
"Really?" Mai said, blushing. "You will do this for me?" Mai began to smile. "How romantic!"
"You will start tomorrow." Kaiba said.
The next morning Mai came with a vanilla Frappuccino for Kaiba. She sat it on Kaiba's desk.
"Thank you, Mrs. Valentine." Kaiba said. "Listen, we were thinking of creating a KaibaLand theme park in Orlando Florida to compete with Disney World and Universal Studios, but how do we pull it off?" Mai had an idea. She held a photo of some swamp land.
"I found some swamp land available that is unused and unprotected, perhaps we can buy the land and turn it into KaibaLand Orlando!" Mai said.
"Sounds great!" Mokuba came to see Kaiba and Mai.
"Seto, I heard you were building a KaibaLand in Orlando and….." Mokuba was stunned to see Mai in a cute purple coat, white shirt and a purple miniskirt.
"Big bro, why is Mai here?" Mokuba asked, looking puzzled.
"Please, Mokuba." Seto told his brother. "Mai is a member of our team now, since Wheeler's away in Brooklyn." Kaiba was packing some summer clothes to bring to the flight to Orlando. "Besides, we have a theme park to build in the center of Florida, so don't fail me!" Mai, Seto, and Mokuba went on their private jet, since the Blue Eyes White Jet only seats two people. The plane landed in the Orlando airport, touching down safely.
"It's so hot in Florida!" Mai said. "But not as hot as me!" Mai smiled.
"Save it, Mai." Seto suggested. "We're here to build my empire, not for a fashion photoshoot!" A limo arrived to escort the three.
"Mr. Kaiba, am I correct?" The limo driver said. "Hello, my name is Juan Rojas." The Hispanic limo driver said. "I will escort you to where you need to go." Kaiba and the others got in, and handed Juan the GPS coordinates. When they arrived at the destination, there was nothing but swampland that was unused and not protected by government.
"Are you sure this is the place?" Juan asked.
"Yes." Kaiba said. "This is the future site of KaibaLand Orlando." Kaiba clenched his fists. "Look out Mickey Mouse, you got new competition."
"I love you, Kaiba!" Mai said, kissing Kaiba on the cheek.
