During recess, Amber and her friends, Hildegard and Clio, were all sitting on the grass as they did their hair. The girls each bragged, (mainly Hildegard and Amber), about how perfect their hair was. It actually became a quite competitive argument that went on for a bit too long.

"Maybe we can all braid our hair?" Clio suggested, trying to interrupt the argument.

"That'd be an excellent idea!" Hildegard said in agreement, Amber agreed as well. "My braids will be so beautiful," Hildegard proudly declared.

"Not as pretty as mine!" Amber said confidently. Clio just sighed, she had made it worse.

Meanwhile, Desmond had been reading his school books. Reading them wasn't a requirement for the homework assignment, and the assignment wasn't until next week, but Desmond liked to be prepared ahead of time. As he sat alone, he noticed Amber and her friends in the distance.

Without realizing it he had been staring at them, mainly staring at one certain princess that always caught his eye, Princess Amber.

Amber was working on brushing her hair as Hildegard braided her own. Desmond was startled and quite embarrassed when he heard Amber call him over. He gestured with his hands pointing to himself, as a way of asking if she was talking to him,

"Yes, Desmond, I need your help with something." Amber confirmed.

"Desmond, could you help me braid my hair, please?" Amber asked Desmond sweetley. This made Desmond blush,

"Me? Umm…" he then noticed Amber's pleading smile, making him unable to resist "I'd love to help you Amber! Though, I'll need your guidance cause I'm not really an expert with braiding…" he said this as he nervously smiled.

Desmond sat next to the blonde princess as she began guiding him. He was nervous but happy that he was able to help Amber with something, it was something he always loved doing.

Desmond held Amber's hair and he noticed how nice her hair was.

"Isn't it perfect?" Amber suddenly stated.

"Uhh, I umm… yes, yes it is!" Desmond agreed, trying to sound confident as he blushed, hoping no one would catch his blushing.

Amber gave a proud stare as she looked at Hildegard, feeling triumphant. "I bet no Prince has said that about your hair, Hildegard." Hildegard just gave an annoyed look and turned her face, as Desmond kept blushing and helping Amber make her braids.

The End.
