A/N: Hello there! This started as a ficlet, but I guess it got too long for that, so here I am, with a little dose of domestic darvey.
I took this quiz from testworld and answered the same answers I put in the fic, and the result is the same too. So, I must give credit to this page.
As always, I'm sorry for my mistakes in English.
I hope these two fools make you smile today :)
It's too cold in town and that, with the humidity generated by the rain, makes the night truly freezing, and Donna hates that. Donna and Harvey had finished dinner a few minutes ago, and now she's on the couch, her back resting on the armrest and her legs stretched out on the pillows, checking social media on her phone and under a blanket that, in her husband's opinion, it's too thick. But, she doesn't care too much about his opinion. Donna is always cold, and Harvey is always hot, and it's an argument they probably will have for the rest of their marriage. So, she will continue to enjoy her blanket.
Harvey returns from the bathroom and wants to join his wife, but when he lifts her feet so he can sit down close to her, she squeals. "My feet were finally warming up!" she snorts, her gaze still on her phone screen.
Harvey rolls his eyes and wraps her feet, which now are resting on his lap, in the blanket. "Sorry for wanting to come here and be close to my wife." He snorts, upset.
Donna raises one of her eyebrows and then raises her gaze to him. "No, you won't turn this around to make it in your favor." She says with determination, pointing her index finger at him.
"All right." Harvey shrugs, not wanting to continue a silly argument. He simply begins massaging the redhead's feet. He drags his knuckles with a little pressure on the arch of her right foot, from the bottom up repeatedly, and though Donna remains silent and looking at her phone, he's truly skillful and a gentle moan escapes from her lips. Harvey knows she loves for him to massage her feet and also knows that he's too good at doing it. For some reason, he is a lawyer. He can quickly put the arguments in his favor. "Maybe I can turn it over." He says, proud of himself.
Donna rolls her eyes. "I hate being married to a lawyer!" she grumbles.
"Oh, yes? Do you hate it?" he asks with a playful smile, squeezing her big toe too tightly.
"Harvey!" she complains and kicks him.
"Just accept that I won here." He murmurs and gives her a kiss on her foot. But Donna doesn't respond. She won't give the arm to twist so soon. "Donna…" he giggles, but she's looking at her phone. But he either won't let himself be beaten so easily. He tickles her between her toes.
"Harvey Specter!" she yells, trying to hold out the laughter.
"Just say it." He grins.
"You won." She murmurs, and it's difficult to identify if a sound came from her lips.
"You're a terrible loser!"
"And you're a terrible husband!"
"So do you think? How many other husbands do you know who massage their wives' feet?" he asks, massaging her foot again.
"I don't know. I'm just married to you."
"Thank Goodness!" he grins.
She can't help but smile like a fool. "That's what you've won, Specter."
"Believe me, I know that." He smiles at her and she smiles back.
"I won in that too." She winks her eye and looks at her phone again. She has there a quiz. The instructions say that it's for answering individually, but she thinks it will be more fun to do it together. "Continue with that. I'll read you a few questions in the meantime."
"A few questions?" he frowns, still massaging her.
"A quiz called What movie does your relationship look like?"
"No Donna, we won't do this." He says as seriously as he can be with his wife (which is not too much)
"Of course, we will." She says, without giving rise to any doubt.
"Hey… I've done a lot of silly things for you, like dancing foolishly in the middle of this living room in underwear or demanding that they change red tomatoes for yellow tomatoes on a pizza, but this you ask me…" she can't help but smile. "It's too much. Who can trust those quizzes?"
"It's not about trusting, it's about having fun for a while."
"Uhu, yes... Super fun." He says wryly.
She rolls her eyes. "Okay, I'll do it by myself." She tells him and concentrates on her phone again, knowing that curiosity to know her answers will make him give in.
A few seconds pass silently, and she waits patiently. She already knows she has won this time.
"Okay, okay." He sighs in frustration. "Let's do it. At least I'll have something to make fun of you later."
She smiles proudly. "I knew you couldn't deal with the intrigue."
He purses his nose, just to annoy her. "Stop fighting and start!"
"Your victory was short-lived." She smirks and winks her eye, and he can't avoid a smile. She always wins, no matter what. "Ok, I'll start." He nods and rests his hands on her feet, waiting for her to start. "Do you think you're living a beautiful love story? Find out what movie your relationship looks like by answering the questions on this fun quiz."
"Sounds very scientific." He says, giggling.
"Shut up! First question: How long have you spent apart? Well, this one is easy. Never. We have no discussion about this, right?"
"We haven't separated since we've been together as a couple." He says with a slight smile. She nods and presses the answer.
"Would you say your relationship is...? Option A: Passionate. Option B: Normal, like all of them. Option C: Cold. Option D: Affectionate."
"Hmm… A and D."
"We have to pick one, Harvey." She chuckles. "Passionate?"
"Well... I'm fortunate to have a very passionate wife." He grins at her.
"Well, my husband is also very passionate… you know?" she presses option A and looks at him with a raised eyebrow, while he fondly rubs her leg with his hand. "Next one: What is your favorite plan? Option A: Walk by hand. Option B: A night of passion and then snuggle until you fall asleep. Option C: Go out to dinner or at a movie theater. Option D: A party." She pauses. "A and D discarded... and I love our weekly dates, but I think I prefer the B."
"The only thing you think about is sex?" he asks suggestively.
She laughs. "I think we both agree that communication is very important… but you're going to tell me you'd rather go to dinner if that doesn't include sex when we come back?" Harvey smiles widely, and she knows his answer, so she presses option B. "What you value most about your partner is…? Option A: Passion. Option B: Loyalty. Option C: Hugs and caresses when you need it most. Option D: Unconditional support in everything you do." Donna finishes reading and looks up to look at him. "Loyalty." They both say at the same time, without hesitation. She selects the answer and continues. "Define your partner in one word. Option A: Serious. Option B: Sweet. Option C: Hot. Option D: Cold." She bites her lower lip, thinking for a few seconds. "With me, you're not a serious person, yes with the rest, but…" she purses her nose and makes him giggle. "I would say it wins option B because you're sweet even in the passionate moments." She tells him with a silly smile on her face.
"Yes, I think it's a good answer for you, too." He responds, and she presses the answer. "The next one?"
She giggles. "Did you see it was fun?"
"And who tells you it's because I want to do the quiz? Maybe it's because I want to do something that's really fun later."
"You'll have to do a lot of merits to convince me that getting out from under this blanket is a good plan."
"I trust my skills fully." He says, as his hand goes up her leg to gently squeeze her thigh and she tries her face remains inexpressive, but she doesn't achieve it. "Come on, read the next… that face gives you away." Donna giggles, her free hand rests on his and continues reading.
"If you met your partner again... Option A: You would be his/her friend first. Option B: She/He would like you more and more. Option C: You wouldn't look at him/her. Option D: You would fall in love again."
"Hmm… I know we have been friends first, but I have no doubt that I fell in love with you that night in the bar." He says softly, staring at her, while Donna's thumb strokes his hand.
"No doubt?"
He shakes his head. "None. What about you?"
She smiles. "Neither." Donna presses the answer and Harvey lies on her, forcing her to make a room between her legs, uncovering her and curling over her. "Comfortable?" she asks, playing with the hair of his nape with her fingers.
"Very comfortable." He responds, arranging his cheek between her breasts and closing his eyes, enjoying how Donna's fingers rise from behind his ear. "Go on."
"Okay." She responds and after giving him a kiss on his head, she continues reading. "How do you greet each other? Option A: A with a kiss on the cheek. Option B: With a quick but tender kiss. Option C: With a hug. Option D: With a passionate kiss."
"Option B." He murmurs, too relaxed over her. Donna nods and marks the answer.
"Do you really want to do something fun later? Or will you just fall asleep here?"
He smirks. "I don't know. This is nice."
"It is. You are more effective than that blanket."
"Obviously, husband kills blanket."
She giggles. "In this, you're right." She murmurs and reads the next question. "What is the best gift you have received? Option A: A teddy bear. Option B: I don't remember. Option C: One trip. Option D: A love letter… The trip to Paris." She smiles, remembering it.
"Yes, well… it's been for you, but also for me. So, select that option… but that's not a question that we can answer together… and some of the previous ones, either. That quiz is badly done."
She giggles. "It has done to answer individually, but I have deceived you."
"Donna Paulsen!" he says laughing, and pinching the sides of her abdomen, making her squeal.
"You're already here, and we have only two questions left."
"I will take revenge for this." He snorts.
"Ok, but answer this first." She responds and kisses his forehead. "When you think about your partner… Option A: You get nervous. Option B: You try to think about something else. Option C: You smile and feel a tickle on your belly. Option D: You send him/her a romantic message…" she pauses. "Okay, don't laugh, but I would select C."
Harvey smirks, his face sunk into her neck. "I would put the same." He murmurs and gives her a sweet kiss there.
"Really?"
"Yes, really... do you think you are the only soft one here?"
"Yes, it's true, you are completely slumped on top of me... you look pretty soft right now."
"Am I crushing you?"
"No, please stay here." She murmurs, as her fingers become entangled in his short hair. She loves that he is above her. He smiles and lovingly squeezes her body. "Last Question: Have you made some trips together? Option A: A trip to another country… And yes, that is the chosen one." He nods, and she presses the last answer. "We have the result."
"What's it?" he murmurs, still against her neck, his voice sounding too deep and low.
"The Notebook. Your relationship is solid, sweet, and romantic. You love each other very much. You know each other very well and give everything for your love. You love to spend time together, and you know your love is true."
"That's the movie you forced me to watch on a rainy Sunday when we were still in New York...?"
She nods. "Yes, it's that one."
Harvey gets up a little, so he can look at her. "Excuse me, I'm prettier than Ryan Gosling."
"You definitely are." She chuckles. "But you have never kissed me in the rain."
"You would complain that your hair is ruined, Donna..." he rolls his eyes. "I know you."
She grins. "So, have you thought about it?"
"Yes, sometimes..."
"Do it next time, please." She pouts, and he smiles tenderly. "Unless we're about to start a day's work, or we're getting somewhere other than our home."
He laughs. "Any more pretense?"
She laughs too. "No, none."
"I'll remember it next time." He murmurs and gives her a brief kiss on her lips.
"I hope you do."
"I will." She nods with a smile and they give each other a tender kiss, but in which their tongues meet along the way until he curls up in her again.
"Do we do another quiz?" she asks, scratching his nape gently.
"Donna," he snorts.
"Please, this one that says what kind of person you are..."
"Yes, that sounds less scientific than the previous one." He responds, looking at her again.
"We'll do it fast, please, please." She pouts.
"Can we go to bed later?"
"I promise."
"Ok..." he resigns himself once again, and she smiles triumphantly.
"If there is a fire and you could only grab your two favorite things, what would they be? Opt–" Before Donna finishes, Harvey automatically grabs her breasts with his hands. "Harvey…" she says, in the middle of a laugh.
"You've said my two favorite things. I don't need options to know." He says, gently kneading her breasts.
"You're an idiot!" she keeps laughing, even with tears. He loses her breasts, removes her phone from her hands, leaves it on the couch, and stands up, still enjoying her laughter. He lifts her, bridal style, and she quickly wraps him around the neck. "What are we going to do now?"
"Doing something fun, finally!" he responds, heading to the bedroom with her in his arms.
"What you've done has been fun." She responds when he is crossing the threshold of the door of the room.
"More fun will be to show you they really are my favorite things in the world." He snores and rests her carefully on the bed, then falls on her and quietly dries the laugh's tears that she has on her cheeks and begins to fill her face with sweet kisses while she smiles."Or would you rather do another silly quiz?" he murmurs in her ear, as one of his hands slides to wrap around one of her breasts.
She shakes her head. "You are more fun."
"Oh, I know that." He says proudly, and before she can answer, their lips merge.
I hope you liked it and thank you for reading it :) I'd love to read what you think about this!
