AN: This is a mix of all my favourite musicals but they're in high school so it's AU. When a character's name is underlined and in bold it means that the scene is from their point of view.

Disclaimer: I don't own any of these characters or the songs.

Usnavi

"I am Usnavi you prob'ly never heard my name

Reports of my fame are greatly exaggerated

Exaggerated by the fact

That my syntax

Is highly complicated

'Cus I immigrated

From the single greatest place in the Caribbean:

Dominican Republic!

I love it!"

"Thank you, Usnavi, take a seat." Madame Giry instructed.

"Impressive." My friend Alexander whispered as I sat down.

"By the way, you have an admirer." I looked in Alexander's direction, and Vanessa's smiling at me. I smiled back.

"I think you have several." I told him, looking at three girls looking at him and giggling.

Several more students were called up to introduce themselves, there was Glinda, Fiyero, Tony, Erik, Christine and Eliza. The door opened and we turned to see the new comer.

"Sonny, you're late!" Madame Giry yelled. Thanks a lot for embarrassing me on the first day cous!

"Chillax, you know you love me!" He exclaimed. Nervous laughter went around the room.

"That cousin of yours certainly has gut." Erik whispered.

"You're not wrong there." I agreed.

"Now we have all become acquainted with one another, it's time for each of you to find out who your roommate is. Look under your chair and you will find an envelope. In that envelope is the name of your roommate." Madame Giry told us. I took my envelope and opened it. Erik.

"As your roommate, can I ask, why do you where that mask?"

"I'll tell you later." He replied.

"Alexander, who's your roommate?" I asked.

"Eliza." He replied, grinning. Someone tapped me on the shoulder, I turned around.

"Do you want to swap roommate's?" Glinda asked. I showed her my roommate's name.

"You know what, I'm good." She decided, I rolled my eyes.

"You said you were going to tell me why your where that mask." I reminded Erik, whilst still unpacking my belongings. Glinda had begged several other people to swap roommate's as the girl she was sharing with has green skin.

"I have Treacher Collins syndrome." He told me.

"What?" I asked, confused.

"Aka I look like a freak." He translated.

"I'm sure it's not that bad." I tried to sound reassuring but I failed miserably.

"How long?" I asked.

"Since birth." He replied.

"I'm sorry." I said.

He shrugged, and said; "What can you do?"

"Think of me, think of me fondly

When we've said goodbye

Remember me, once in a while

Please promise me you'll try

When you find that once again you long

To take your heart back and be free

If you ever find a moment

Spare a thought for me"

Erik's eyes widened with excitement. And, without saying a word, he went out of the room to follow the voice. I followed after him.

"Where's it coming from?" I asked.

"The Recording Studio." He replied, with absolute certainty.

"This place has a Recording Studio?" I asked.

"This place has everything." He replied. We reached the recording studio and quietly snuck in. Christine was the main singer, Angelica, Eliza and Peggy were back up.

"They're amazing aren't they." Cossette commented. I hadn't realised she's here too.

"Yes, she is- I mean... they're amazing. They're all amazing." Erik babbled.

Me and Cossette smiled at eachother, thinking the same thing: he totally has a crush on Christine. When they finished, all three of us cheered loudly. They walked out of the small room. Christine and the others walked up to us.

"Tell Christine how you feel, buy the girl a meal

On the reel, or you ain't got no skills."

Cossette whispered. I struggled to hold back laughter.

"Uh... Christine. Would you-"

"Christine! That was amazing!" Raoul, appearing out of no where, exclaimed.

"Raoul! I'm so glad to see you! It's been too long." Christine said.

"My lady?" He asked.

"Monsieur." She replied. She linked his arm with hers and they strode off together.

"Oooh, smooth operater, aw, damn there she goes!" Angelica exclaimed.

"Yo, bro, take five, take a walk outside!" I chimed in.

"You look exhausted, lost, don't let life slide!" Eliza said.
