After returning a Pop Tiger magazine he borrowed James sees Katie's diary on her bed and discovers she has a secret crush that she never mentioned to anyone not even her mom. Horrified and curious he sees that it's a boy named Kyle that's in Katie's grade at the Palm Woods school. He's relieved that the kid is her age but upset it's a secret and runs out to show it to the others

5. Chapter 5

Kyle: Ok cool *They finish their meal then go to the movie theater, hang out in the arcade for about an hour then go back home*

*At Apartment 2J*

*In the hallway*

Katie: I had a really good time with you tonight Kyle. You're kind and funny and don't just like me cuz l I've with BTR. You like me for me and I really appreciate that

Kyle: I really like you too Katie. You're really sweet and hilarious. Must be really hard living with four 16 year old teenage boys and you all have to share ONE bathroom. Can't always be peaceful life in there right?

Katie: It's never been easy but it's never boring. They're all great

Kyle: Even James?

Katie: Yeah sometimes he's a pain but I love him

Kyle: That's good. Do you ever want to go out again? Like as a couple?

You wanna be my boyfriend? "she asks surprised"

Kyle: Yeah if that's ok with you

Katie: This is a lot to process. I'll think about it. Good night

Kyle: Goodnight *Leaves*

*Katie walks into the apartment and internally sighs happily cuz the guys are there*

Kendall: Did you have a fun time with Kyle?

Katie: Yeah

*Shocked* James: You were with HIM?!

Katie: Yeah I just finished talking to him before I came in. You sound really surprised like you excepting me to be somewhere else. Like the mall or the Fro-Yo shop. Those are the places you checked at for me right? Is it because you read the fake note in my diary?! *Glares at him and he stays silent with a nervous face*

You read my diary from the day I mentioned Kyle. That's why the other day you knew his baseball practice schedule so well! You read it and memorized it! You went into my room and read my personal property without my permission! I don't trust you anymore! You're a terrible brother! *Storms off to her room*

Logan: I told you she would find out

Carlos: El Diablo

Kendall: Shame, shame, shame

James: I did all that to protect her!

Kendall: No James she's old enough to make her own decisions. She doesn't always need your protection especially cuz you always go overboard

*Carlos and Logan agree and they all go to bed*
