Carmelita's POV

"I guess I have to introduce myself. My name is Carmelita Montoya Fox. I was one of the best cops in Interpol. Successful missions, jobs, everything. It felt too great to become a cop. Why do I do this...? That has to wait for another time. But for now, let's continue. Everything went alone okay until HE showed up. His name was Sly Cooper.

Ever since we met, he has become such an annoyance. Later when we met again in Paris, I always thought he was nothing much than an ordinary criminal that steals what he wants without a care in the world. That was until he helped save me when I was trapped in Clockwork's Fortress. It made me surprise. Then after we stop Clockwork, he... kissed me! Did it felt good? Why ask me?! It shouldn't matter! All that matters is that he escaped.

Later during the events with the Clockwork parts, I thought Sly and his crew would stole the parts. Until, it was revealed that my partner, Neyla, was actually the one behind it and framed me to be with the Cooper gang. But for some reason... Sly turn himself in to prove my innocence. A thief helped prove my innocence in order to let his friends go. He was a... strange thief. But of course that ringtail escaped! He makes me very confused... Why would he help me? I keep asking myself this.

Then back with the Cooper Vault job that I heard about, Sly has teamed up with more people to help with a job to his family vault. As I keep on following him around to arrest him, I keep asking why am I always trying to arrest Cooper more than any other criminal. It was because... I had feelings for him. I want to deny it but I couldn't. I really loved him. Then the next part shock me more. When Dr. M was about to hit me, Sly took the hit. I then went to see if he is okay and that blast must've made him lose his memory. I had to lie and tell him that he was my partner in interpol. Of course the chief was angry at this.

But then later, it was revealed that... he lied to me. He lied that he lost his memory just to go ahead and steal again! I just... It really broke my heart. But that was until I was involved in a little time travel event with the Cooper gang. I eventually find out that he only lied just to be with me and have a new life. Cooper impressed me so much. That was until... Le Paradox won and was responsible for Cooper being in another time. It's been 2 years since then. I tried to ask his crew if they can make another time machine but they don't have any materials for it since someone stole them. It really made me crushed. I miss him so much.

I wanted to talk with him about the lie he told... but I can't. I wasn't able to. Ever since Sly was gone, I became more brutal with my arrests. I didn't bother to go easy on every criminal I meet. Just to let out my frustration. Sly... if you're ever there. Or if you get this... I'm sorry."

In a office, there was a very beautiful and attractive vixen fox. She had just wrote down everything that needs to be said. The fox had orange fur, brown eyes, and blue hair with a gold hairband. She was wearing a dark yellowish brown jacket, dark yellow gloves, a blue midriff-baring top, a choker with her interpol badge, dark blue pants, and brown combat boots.

After finished with writing everything down in her journal, she sighed before lighting a cigarette and blowing a smoke. It was painful for her after Sly was gone for 2 years. She was very miserable. Then notice that her time at her job was up and she started to get up to start going home. When she was about leave, someone knocked on her door.

She was confused and answered the door. It was revealed to be, a male squirrel with red fur. He was wearing a black jacket that was unzipped to show he was wearing a blue shirt, black pants, and gray shoes.

She greeted, "Oh... Haran. What are you doing here?"

The red furred squirrel answered, "Oh well... I just wanted to see how you were since you were alone."

She started to think, 'I hope this isn't another excuse just to get me to date him. I enjoyed the night we had but, I told him I'm not ready to date.'

Then she responds, "Oh well... thanks I guess. I better head home now."

She then headed straight home as the squirrel sighed and watch her left. Finally when she got home, she was in her own thoughts. Then she notice her photos. Most of them were from her family, some were from her friends, but only one was of her and Sly.

She held the photo of them as she was angry. But she calmed herself before putting it on her wall.

Then she said to herself, "I can't move on... No matter how hard I tried, it isn't enough. Damn it... Why does this have to happen?!"

Tears fell from her as she was about to cry, but just then she gets a phone call from her police chief.

She calms herself down so she doesn't sound sad.

"Hello," said the fox.

The police chief said, "Fox. Are you too busy right now?"

Carmelita hears him and wonders if it's a case. She thought, 'Maybe this will cheer me up.'

She answers him, "Yeah. I'm available for now. Is there anything you need."

"Yeah... You remember that Klaww Gang fiasco? Where that traitor of a constable had died," asked the police chief.

This made Carmelita very intrigued, but also very concerned. She hasn't heard about that in years.

She said, "Yeah I remember. But I thought that case was closed."

"We thought so too, until we got an anonymous tip saying that someone has one of the Clockwork pieces," said the police chief as this makes the inspector's eyes widened.

"B-but that's impossible. I saw every single part get destroyed. Are you sure about this," asked the interpol inspector.

He answers, "Even if this is a lie this is something we can't possibly avoid. I want you to investigate this."

Carmelita sighed before agreeing to this theory. No matter how crazy it sounds.

"Where should I look," asked Carmelita as the chief tells her about the location that the anonymous tip has spoke.

She arrived at one of the rooftops and used her binoculars to look around for anyone that is suspicious.

Near her in another part of the rooftops, someone appeared and hadn't notice her. And they were lucky she hasn't notice them as well. Then they continued sneaking around more.

The figure turns out to be a strange wolf, jackal, canine like creature with blue fur and yellow fur. He also wore a black mask and a red thief outfit. He was also holding a yellow cane in his hand.

"Okay... Let's see what we have," said the thief as he took out a map.

He said, "Alright. Have to head out into the vent. Need to find out if it's there or not."

Then he put it away as he rushed in and look around.

He moves on as he snuck through the rooftops. The lucario quickly went through and was close to an edge. Once he notice this, he looks around and saw the building he is supposed to go. But then he looks down and saw cars driving on roads.

He sighed and said, "Great... Now what can I do? Unless I can suddenly fly, there is no way I can make it through."

Then he notice a a wire from the rooftop of the building the building he is on to the building that he needs to go through.

"I hope this works," said the lucario as he gets on the wire and slowly walk on it.

Meanwhile, Carmelita was still watching over as she didn't know what to expect. Until in her eyes was the lucario. She watched him head on over as she notice the building he is going to, which was a museum.

"Oh great. Another thief. Guess I have to deal with him now," said the interpol inspector as she equips her shock pistol and heads down the building.

The lucario finally makes it inside.

"It should be around here," said the lucario as he looks around and notice spotlights.

He said to himself, "Okay. All I need to do is find the artifact in here. But the only way to do that is by not getting caught by spotlights."

Then he snuck past the spotlights and continued to look around.

As he pass them, he finally found the exhibit where the artifact should be in.

The thief looks around for it and tries to look for it. But something was awfully strange that's going on.

"No no no. It's supposed to be here. No... I need to find it," said the thief but then a voice could be heard.

"Find what," said the voice as it turns out to be Carmelita who was aiming her shock pistol at the lucario.

He turns and sees her in front of him. He grips his cane as he doesn't know what to do. Though he did get a good look on her.

He then thought, 'Damn it... She must be a cop. Why is she here of all times? Plus... why does she seem familiar? Ah who knows. I need to hurry and find out who took it.'

Then he decided to be quick and used a smoke bomb. When it was cleared, she notice that he escaped and left a strange card on the ground.

She picked up the card and was thinking.

She thought, 'He must've been the one who took one of the Clockwork pieces. But he said he was looking for something.'

Carmelita looked up and notice the artifact was gone. She was about to put it together that the lucario had stolen it too, but he obviously wouldn't look for it if he did stole it.

"I need to figure out what he was looking for and report to the chief tomorrow," said the fox cop as she starts heading out.

The lucario watched her leave as he was in a vent hiding away. He had just kept an eye on her and didn't look away for a single second.

He asked, "Who was she? Well she does look very beautiful, but she was obviously here to arrest me since she has a badge. But damn it... Someone already made it off with the artifact."

He sighed before walking out of the museum to head out.

Adrian's POV

"I should introduce myself. My name is Adrian. Growing up was pretty hard on my own. Especially when you're an orphan. As a kid, my parents were master class thieves. They were one of the best. Until a couple of bad cops finally caught them and killed them in front of me. I was very tramatized. I couldn't handle it. So I have to be on my own. While in the orphanage I was remembering all the skills the parents have to get them to where they are master thieves.

They wrote down everything in their journal. Every heist they did, every move they know, I kept reading it. Until I gotten older and wear my father's thief clothes. In my parents' journal, they were trying to steal one of the most incredible items to ever exist. Something that will make you an expert thief. It's called... 'The Cane of Shavexia.' A cane so powerful it could give you beyond any riches you desire. If you think I want the cane for that reason then you're wrong. I only want the cane to help succeed in my family's legacy and get the title of being an expert thief.

The only way to get the cane is by getting five artifacts. Once combined it will turn into a key. One that can open the vault and acquire the cane. All I need to do is find who took them, and bring them down. And if anyone wants to get in my way... They better regret it then."
