I wrote this story whilst suffering from a covid brain fog and lack of sleep so to make my life easier I decided to make it a drabble.
I've tried drabbles before but inevitably they wind up punching beyond the 100 word limit so I am pleased this one actually panned out, though obviously not as well as it could have. Drabbles take MAJOR skill and discipline.
Serenity reached out to take the small box. Bunny-like excitement built within her and she fought hard to maintain her composure. However, upon opening the box she found herself utterly speechless.
Tenderly, she reached into the box and withdrew a bracelet. A bracelet composed of sparkling white pearls.
"They reminded me of you," Endymion said softly.
Serenity slipped the bracelet on and kissed her beloved beneath the decidedly larger pearl that hung in the sky.
Then she woke up.
As she remembered the party tonight she began to softly sob into her hands, the pearl bracelet clicking at the motion.

I struggled with something for this first day's theme until I remembered Serenity literally wears a pearl bracelet in canon. After that it all clicked together and I even found a way to make it a prelude to the big fic I have planned for this week.
I hope you all enjoyed my fic and read on for the sequel in the coming week! I promise it will be a lot longer.
