Prompt: Drone
Poe had designed the drones himself. Knowing his students would need experience training with formidable adversaries, he created unmanned spacecraft that used 'lasers' to 'mark' their quarry with infrared. The weapons on his ships were electromagnetic pulses that turned off the drone.
Poe watched the awe on the faces of his class as they observed his volunteer pilot show them how it's done. It took less than three minutes for Rey to take out the dozen drones.
While the pilots stared with mouths agape, Poe smiled, knowing he would never tire of watching his wife kick ass in the sky.
