I stood in front of the main gate of the Magic Academy and looked up…and up…and up…the gate seemed to go on forever. As expected of the entrance of the prestigious Magic Academy! It certainly makes an impression!

The sight was a little sobering. It was a reminder that the start of the game was really here. As I stared at it, I quickly ran once again through the different routes in the game. I was pretty sure that we had solved all the problems that might arise for me. But just in case, maybe I should try to track down Marieta before the entrance ceremony…

"Isabella. What are you thinking?"

I looked up at my fiancé. Ursch-kun had grown quite a bit, but his charm was still the same as ever. No, what am I saying, his charm is even better now! Those eyes that look like they aren't open even when he's surprised! That fluffy brown hair! His face, which is starting to look more and more manly with its strong lines! I am taking this moment to also reflect on how grateful I am that I was able to safely get engaged to Ursch-kun before entering the Magic Academy.

"Isabella."

Ursch-kun's voice broke through my wandering thoughts. I replied, "Yes?"

"What are you thinking about?"

"Oh, nothing much, really."

He sighed. "Isabella, I want to hear you say three words to me right now."

I brightened. Was that all he wanted? I was happy to say it to him whenever he wanted! "I love you!"

"That's nice, but try again."

"...I will behave."

"Good." Ursch-kun smiled, then reached out and patted my head as I pouted. "And I love you too, Isabella. Now shall we get going to the auditorium?" He held out his hand to me.

My grumpiness vanished, and I grabbed onto his hand gladly. "Yes!"

Even if I wasn't sure about what this year would be like, I at least had the reliable Ursch-kun always by my side.
