The Golem roared.

"The chains are slowing us down. We can't fight it! We'll have to move in unison. Follow my lead!" Spyro said.

"Why should you lead?" Whirlwind asked.

"Cynder, follow my lead!" Ronald said.

"You got it, Ronald!" Cynder said.

Then Ronald and Cynder flew up.

"We should do the same. Camo and Zap, follow my lead!" Sunburn said.

"Right, Sunburn!" Camo and Zap said.

Then Sunburn, Camo, and Zap flew up.

"Uh oh! Take cover!" Spyro said.

Then the Golem tried to attack Spyro and Whirlwind but Spyro and Whirlwind flew off the ground and dodged the attack.

"Okay… You lead… Good idea…" Whirlwind said.

Then Spyro flew straight with Whirlwind following him while Ronald flew straight with Cynder following him while Sunburn flew with Camo and Zap following him.

Then Hunter used his bow and arrow and shot out an arrow and the arrow hit the Golem's left eye, making him weak.

Then the Golem tried to attack Hunter but he hit the column instead.

Then Hunter jumped down and landed on the Den Closure.

Then the column fell down and hit the Golem and then the Golem fell down in the fiery pits.

Then Spyro, Whirlwind, Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap flew down and landed on the Vault Arena.

"Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap, how were you able to fly off without Whirlwind and me?" Spyro asked.

"Check our collars." Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap said.

Then Spyro and Whirlwind looked at Ronald and checked Ronald's Snake Collar and discovered that Ronald's Snake Collar was yellow.

Then Spyro and Whirlwind looked at Cynder and checked Cynder's Snake Collar and discovered that Cynder's Snake Collar was yellow too.

Then Spyro and Whirlwind looked at Ronald and Cynder.

"Ronald and Cynder, your collars are both yellow." Spyro said.

"That's right, Spyro. The two of us are shackled to each other only." Ronald and Cynder said.

Then Spyro and Whirlwind looked at Sunburn and checked Sunburn's Snake Collar and discovered that Sunburn's Snake Collar was pink.

Then Spyro and Whirlwind looked at Camo and checked Camo's Snake Collar and discovered that Camo's Snake Collar was pink too.

Then Spyro and Whirlwind looked at Zap and checked Zap's Snake Collar and discovered that Zap's Snake Collar was pink three.

Then Spyro and Whirlwind looked at Sunburn, Camo, and Zap.

"Sunburn, Camo, and Zap, your collars are pink." Spyro said.

"That's right, Spyro. The three of us are shackled to each other only." Sunburn, Camo, and Zap said.

"Then that means that only Whirlwind and I are shackled together, right?" Spyro asked.

"That's right, Spyro. You and Whirlwind are shackled together." Ronald and Cynder said.

"How are Whirlwind and I supposed to fight with this chain?" Spyro asked.

"And how are you two supposed to fight if you two are chained together, Ronald and Cynder?" Spyro asked.

"And how are Sunburn, Camo, and Zap supposed to fight if they are chained together?" Spyro asked.

"There's no way that we can fight like this." Whirlwind said.

"We have to get them off." Whirlwind said.

"This chain just slows us down." Whirlwind said.

"You two sure complain about the chains a lot. Ronald and Cynder never complained about their chain." Zap said.

"Why don't you two complain about your chain, Ronald and Cynder? Don't you hate it?" Spyro asked.

"Nah, I like the chain." Ronald said.

"And I like the chain as well." Cynder said.

"Why?" Spyro asked.

"Because I can stay close to Cynder to protect her." Ronald said.

"And because I can stay close to Ronald to make sure that I never lose him again." Cynder said.

"Ronald and Cynder don't see their chain as an obstacle. They see their chain as a remembrance to their bond with each other." Zap said.

Then Spyro and Whirlwind looked at Zap.

"That's pretty easy for them! They've been best friends for two years and are now boyfriend and girlfriend!" Spyro said.

"Yeah, so it's not going to be a problem for Ronald and Cynder! But what about Spyro and I? This is going to be hard for the two of us!" Whirlwind said.

Then Spyro and Whirlwind looked back at Ronald and Cynder.

"Well, then you two will need to learn to work together while you two are shackled." Ronald and Cynder said.

"Ronald and Cynder are right, Spyro and Whirlwind. If you two think this is hard, then you two will have to work together." Zap said.

"Zap is right that Ronald and Cynder make a good point. We need to work together." Spyro said.

"You're right, Spyro. We do need to work together." Whirlwind said.

Then Spyro and Whirlwind looked straight ahead and saw Hunter.

Then Sparx flew up.

"Hey, Spyro, man, you're alive! And it's a good thing that Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap are alive too!" Sparx said.

Then Sparx flew to Spyro, Whirlwind, Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap.

"Sparx! It's good to see you too! You okay?" Spyro asked.

"Huh, you know, a little stiff, voice keeps changing, but I'm good." Sparx said.

"Hey, this reunion is really touching and everything, but shouldn't we be going, unless you want to wait for the thing to climb back up. I'd hate to think what it might do to Sparx." Whirlwind said.

"Who's he?" Spyro asked.

"I don't know. All he said was, "Shh. You're making too much noise"." Sparx said.

"I like him already." Whirlwind said.

Note: Spyro thought that he and his six friends were all shackled together but learns that is not the case. But Spyro worries about his friends' abilities to fight.
