Alright, everyone, I decided to take another crack at the Olympics, but this one's not a Mario Sonic crossover. I decided to go with Pokémon since the 2024 Olympics are going to be held in Paris, which is what Lumiose City is based off of.

…Okay, I'll admit that Jeff Foxworthy and Alan Jackson's music video for 'Redneck Games' also contributed. If you haven't seen it, it's basically Foxworthy's commentary and fears regarding the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta, which they did screw up, but it wasn't for the reasons he listed.

DISCLAIMER 1: The Olympics are run by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and broadcast on NBC. I don't own the rights to them.

DISCLAIMER 2: Pokémon is owned by The Pokémon Company and Nintendo. If I owned the series, Dawn and Serena would still be on the main cast.

Oh, and before I get started, the characters are 18 in this (with Brock, Tracey, and Cilan being 23).

Training for the Gold!

On a sunny day at Vermillion City, a maroon-haired girl was watching one of her friends go through an obstacle course set up by one of his own friends. The girl in question was Chloe Cerise. The one setting up the obstacle course was Tracey Sketchit. Their common friend? None other than Ash Ketchum. The fact that he was training alongside his Pokémon was no surprise; however, despite the fact that she wasn't very close to him (certainly not as close as a certain bluenette and honey blonde), Chloe did notice that Ash was pushing himself even harder than he usually does.

As Tracey was finishing up the obstacle course, Chloe walked over to Ash, who was stretching. "You've been at it for a while now," she said. Ash didn't respond since he knew exactly what she was talking about. "A month of training without Goh knowing? Any reason why?"

"Well, I was going to tell you when the time was right," Ash answered. "And since Goh's on a mission with Gary, this is the perfect opportunity." The statement got Chloe to blush in surprise. "Don't worry. I'm not going to ask you on a date. I know you don't like me that way."

"I like you just fine. Huh?" She then noticed the envelope in his hand. "The Pokélympics in Lumiose City? Ash, you're competing?"

"Yep. I'm representing the Kanto region with Greta, the Arena Tycoon of the Battle Frontier."

"Nice! I'll be cheering you both on, especially you since I don't know her. One more question, though. Who's the geek with the headband?"

"That's Tracey. He's a Pokémon Artist and Professor Oak's assistant. He helped me and my friend Misty while we were traveling through the Orange Islands."

"No surprise." She then looked at what Ash was wearing: A blue sleeveless shirt with a white stripe down the sides and the middle, a pair of blue basketball shorts, and cross trainers. She also took a glance at his muscle tone, noting that he was still slim.

"Alright, Ash!" Tracey exclaimed. "You ready?"

"I was born ready!" Ash answered as he finished stretching. He then took out a couple of PokéBalls and let out Sirfetch'd and Lucario. Pikachu joined in as well. The three Pokémon joined their trainer at the starting line as Tracey readied a starting pistol. He fired the gun and Ash was ready. They started at the rock climb, with Pikachu getting up the wall first, followed by Lucario, then Ash, and finally Sirfetch'd. They all went down the zip line and then through the tires, this time with Lucario taking the lead at the end of that leg, followed by Ash and Pikachu at the same time and Sirfetch'd being last.

Afterward, the barbed wire course came up, with Pikachu gaining his lead back, then Sirfetch'd following behind. It came as no surprise to Ash and Lucario considering that they were the two taller ones out of the four. They got through and raced for the finish line. Ash and Lucario caught up to Pikachu and Sirfetch'd, all four of them getting across the line. "It's a tie!" Tracey exclaimed. "Way to go, guys!"

"It looks like you're all set," said Chloe. "You better hit the shower, Ash. And don't worry. I won't tell Goh about this."

"Thanks, Chloe," said Ash. "There are two people I plan on telling, though."

"Dawn and Serena?"

"Got it in one. But you're right. I better hit that shower first." Ash went to get in the shower, unaware of Chloe staring at him. However, she forgot about a certain Pokémon Watcher.

"You must be really fond of Ash," Tracey said.

"Just as a friend," Chloe responded. "This is actually the first real time I've spent with him."

"So I hear. Most of the time, either one of you or both of you are stuck with Goh."

"Don't get me started on Goh. Sure, he's a good friend and I support what he does outside of his antics. The thing I admire about Ash is that he is able to reach out to Goh and knock his know-it-all personality down a peg while improving himself."

"That's Ash for you, but Goh's not his first student; that was May. Then it was Dawn, Clemont, Serena, and finally Lillie."

"Oh my," she said with a hint of sarcasm. "The shock meter is off the charts."

After a while, Ash got out of the shower and went to the kitchen. He saw a protein shake ready for him. He then took notice that Chloe was anxious to see how it turned out, learning that she made it. "Whoa!" he exclaimed after taking a sip. "This tastes like…"

"Like what, Ash?" she asked.

"It tastes like the shakes that Serena made for me."

"Funny you should say that. I got the recipe from her." Ash and Tracey noticed that she was nervous saying this, evidenced by how she had both of her pointer fingers touching. "See, even as a kid, I got into a habit of making protein shakes for me and Goh. However, since I was unsure of your favorite kind of shakes and I knew you were closer with her than with Dawn, I figured I'd reach out to her. In the process, I may have told her what you were doing. Please don't be mad."

"It's okay. I'm not mad. A little upset that I didn't get to talk to her, but I'm not mad. I guess that just leaves calling Dawn to me."

"You need to rest. I'll tell Dawn."

"She's right," said Tracey. "You of all people know that it's a long flight to Lumiose City."

"Right," Ash said as he finished his shake and washed the glass, much to both of their shocks. "What? I have to clean up after myself too. Anyway, goodnight."

"Yeah…" Chloe said as Ash went to his room. "Goodnight."

"Are you sure you don't…?" asked Tracey.

"I'm certain, Tracey."

The next morning, Ash and Chloe saw that Tracey was in the kitchen whipping up breakfast. The two research fellows had their bags packed and ready to go to Lumiose City. After they finished eating, the trio went to the airport, Tracey having packed his bags as well, and flew to their destination. Professors Oak and Cerise, as well as Ash and Chloe's mothers, said that they'd be watching and cheering Ash on. He also knew that he'd get support from Professors Kukui and Cerise as well as Lei.

After several hours, they finally landed at the Lumiose City Airport. While Chloe and Tracey took in the sights, Ash and Pikachu saw their Kalos friends waiting for them. "Serena!" Ash exclaimed as he waived at them. "Clemont! Bonnie!"

"Ash!" they greeted back as they got in a group hug.

"How are you guys?"

"We're doing great," Clemont said, activating his Aipom Arm to catch Bonnie as she tries to sneak off toward a pretty girl. "As you can see, Bonnie's still up to her usual antics."

"Very funny, Clemont," Bonnie pouted.

"On another note, Ash, who are those two? And where's Goh?"

"Goh's on a mission for Project Mew. As for my other friends here, Serena met Chloe. She's Goh's childhood friend. And this is Tracey. He's a Pokémon Watcher and Professor Oak's assistant. Guys, Meet Clemont, Bonnie, and Serena…Well, again for Chloe and Serena." The two girls giggled as they hugged each.

"It's nice to meet you," Tracey greeted.

"Likewise," said Clemont. Serena broke from her hug with Chloe and shared a kiss with Ash, getting a shock from the others present.

"Well, what do you know? He actually has a girlfriend."

"Not the first time she kissed him."

"Now we need to get you one," said Bonnie.

"Over my dead body!" This got a laugh from Ash and Serena while Tracey and Chloe stood there dumbfounded.

"In addition to being an inventor," Ash told Tracey and Chloe. "Clemont's also the Gym Leader of Lumiose City. Bonnie helps run it, but sibling squabbles do exist."

"I haven't seen a traditional Gym Battle before, but I know they specialize in one type," said the Pokémon Watcher. "What does Clemont specialize in?"

"My Gym is an Electric-type Gym," said Clemont. "And it's at Prism Tower."

"Prism Tower?" Chloe asked, checking the map on her Rotom Phone.

"Prism Tower is at the heart of Lumiose City," answered Serena. "Ash's travels through Kalos began there when Team Rocket caused a Garchomp to go berserk. After getting her to calm down he jumped off of Prism Tower to rescue Pikachu. They were saved by a Mega Blaziken." The story caused Chloe and Tracey to look at Ash and Pikachu in shock.

"Whoa…"

"Still have that reckless streak, huh?" Tracey asked. "Then it's a good thing I brought Scyther with me just in case something like that happened again."

"Scyther?" Bonnie asked. Tracey showed them a sketch of a mantis-like Pokémon that had blades on its arms, prompting Serena to get her Rotom Phone out.

"SCYTHER, THE MANTIS POKÉMON. A BUG/FLYING-TYPE," said the phone. "SCYTHER'S NATURAL CAMOUFLAGE ALLOWS IT MANY OPPORTUNITIES TO CAPTURE ITS PREY. THE BLADES ON ITS ARMS ARE USED TO DEFEND ITSELF IN COMBAT."

"Scyther was also the leader of its swarm until he was defeated by a younger one," Tracey explained. "After he helped us defeat Team Rocket, he decided to come with me. He didn't really get along well with Ash's Charizard at first, but now they know how to work together."

"That Scyther is so cute!" Bonnie exclaimed in excitement, startling Tracey and Chloe.

"As you can see, Bonnie gets even more excited than Ash does when meeting new Pokémon," said Clemont. "She even got a little too excited when she met Pikachu."

"Ash, didn't the same thing happen to your friend Iris when you two first met?" Tracey asked.

"Yeah," answered Ash. "That wasn't why she and I got off on the wrong foot, though. It was basically immaturity on both of our parts because I thought she was a wild Axew. Turns out that Axew was in her hair. It's a Haxorus now, so it has to be in a Poké Ball."

"Is her hair really that wild?" asked Serena.

"Why don't you just ask her yourself?" a voice asked. They looked and saw a girl wearing a form-fitting tank top with a black-and-white pattern on it, matching pants, and cross-trainers. She had dark skin, hazel eyes, and wild purple hair. "Hi, Ash!"

"You got here early, Iris," Ash said, surprising the others. "I take it you're competing too?"

"Got it in one. By the way, aren't you going to introduce me?"

"Right. Iris, I'd like you to meet Serena Clemont, Bonnie, Chloe, and Tracey. Guys, this is Iris of the Village of Dragons in the Unova region. She's the Unova Champion."

"The Champion!?" Clemont asked.

"No way!" Chloe exclaimed.

"And I'm Ash's number one girl from Unova," Iris added, sparking a fire from within Serena.

"You're not his number one girl!" Bonnie exclaimed before Serena could get anything out. "That very distinct honor goes to Serena! You're not even good enough for my brother with a bold claim like that!"

"Whoa. What's her problem?"

"Sorry, Iris. Bonnie's normally not like that," said Ash.

"I kind of figured that. What set her off?"

"Well, it's the 'Number one girl' statement. See, that set Serena and Bonnie off when they heard that and they didn't hear the 'Unova' part. Bonnie is right about one thing, though. Serena's my girlfriend."

"Really?" Iris looked at Chloe and Serena. "Serena's the honey blonde one, right? Where did you meet Chloe at?"

"Chloe and I met at the Cerise Laboratory in Vermillion City. She's Professor Cerise's daughter, but she's more interested in Pokémon Contests. That's where her lessons from Serena and Dawn come into play. Also, she is to Goh what Serena is to me: Friends since childhood. The difference is that the two of them aren't dating."

"This is Goh's friend?" Chloe nodded nervously. "Wow. If I knew Goh better, I'd determine if he deserved you or not. Ash deserves you, though."

"Iris…"

"I meant that as a compliment! Think about how fun the Pokélympics are going to be! Among contestants from all over the world are two friends who are regional Champions going for the Gold in each event! Tell me that doesn't sound exciting!"

"Honestly, I can't wait!"

"Neither can I! Then if you win, you can marry Serena and take her on the best honeymoon ever!"

"A little early to think about that, don't you think?" asked Serena. "What about your happiness?"

"As awesome as Ash is, you two are a better fit, especially given how I kept calling him a little kid. That was my mistake."

"Hey, that was just our usual banter. What do you say we support each other? Just because we're in the same event doesn't mean we shouldn't."

"Ash, aren't you forgetting something?" Chloe asked. "You have teammates as well. If Iris faces off against Greta, then you have to support Greta."

"Yeah, that'll put me in a tight spot, wouldn't it?"

"It's okay, Ash. I understand," Iris said. "Just because you support your teammate over me won't change things between us. May the best athlete win."

"You got it!" They shook hands in a show of good sportsmanship. Iris then watched as Ash and his party went to the hotel to check in.

'This'll be the best Pokélympics ever,' she thought.

After a while, Ash, Serena, Chloe, and Tracey got to the hotel and checked in. Clemont and Bonnie stayed at their house, not wanting their dad to worry. They got to their suite and were quite impressed with the work that was done to undo the damage caused by Team Flare. Ash and Pikachu had a room to themselves (though he wouldn't have minded sharing with Serena) while Serena and Chloe were in another room with two separate beds. This left Tracey in the living room.

Ash and Pikachu checked out their bedroom and found that it had a bathroom of its own, along with a desk and a video phone. "Well, Pikachu," he said to his best friend. "This is our home for the next two weeks. You like it?"

"Pi Pikachu!" the Mouse Pokémon chirped happily. They went to their video phone and called a familiar face.

"Ash, my boy!" said an old man in a lab coat who was happy to hear from him. "I take it you made it to Lumiose City safe and sound?"

"Yep," answered Ash. "Tracey, Chloe, and I met up with Serena, Clemont, and Bonnie as well. We also ran into Iris and she was raring to go."

"Ah, so you know some of the competition as well, huh? Let me know if you need any of your Pokémon besides those that are on your team. Since Basketball is one of the events, it never hurts to have another besides Lucario working with you."

"Like Hawlucha?"

"Or that Greninja of yours if you catch it again. If you ask Professor Kukui, he'll probably be happy to send Incineroar as well."

"Incineroar and Hawlucha would probably be good for tag-team wrestling."

"That wouldn't be such a bad idea. I hope you know that there are some events exclusive to the trainers, such as Cycling."

"Misty would die of a heart attack if she saw me on a bike."

"Unfortunately, funny as that is, there's some truth to that statement."

"Alright, well I thought I'd check in with you, Professor."

"Well, thank you. I'll be sure to let Professors Cerise, Kukui, and Sycamore know that you made it there. The same with your mother."

"Alright. Thanks, Professor."

"Not a problem, Ash. Good luck!" After that, they hung up.

Meanwhile, in the girls' room, Serena and Chloe were getting their stuff unpacked. They checked out the dresser space and found that they had enough for both of them. Serena noticed that there was a cheerleading outfit wit the letter 'A' on the shirt in Chloe's suitcase. Knowing that she got one too, she put two-and-two together and learned that Ash wasn't the only connection they had.

Chloe got out of the restroom and saw her mentor with her eyes narrowed. "S…Serena?" she asked.

"I hope you don't mind me asking, but how do you feel about either Ash or Goh?" asked the blonde.

"Why? What's wrong?"

"Chloe, just answer me."

"Well…The truth is…I think Goh's an idiot. A reckless know-it-all who doesn't know the first thing about properly training a single Pokémon. He just throws a Poké Ball and has an astounding amount of luck catching them without battling. He's immature, he lets Gary Oak get him riled up, and he set his ambitions a little too high by wanting Mew as his first Pokémon. Thankfully, that honor went to Cinderace when it was a Scorbunny."

"So, you don't have romantic feelings for him?"

"No."

"What about Ash?"

"Ash is a different story. I didn't like him at first because I thought he was weird. After he saved me from Gengar and caught it, I started to warm up to him. I really appreciate his efforts in reeling in Goh's antics, as well as what he does for Pokémon, whether they're his or not. He's even helped me to understand them better. I even admire his unpredictability in battles as opposed to Goh's by-the-book approach. As to whether or not I have any feelings for him, that remains to be seen."

"In other words, you're not sure?"

"Yeah. I take it that it's because of the cheerleading outfit?"

"You must've met Dawn."

"I did. How come?"

"Let's just say we have more friends in common than just Ash." Chloe looked as Serena pulled out a similar outfit. "I hope Dawn got our measurements right. It does look quite appealing, doesn't it?"

"What size are your breasts anyway?"

"36D. Why?"

"Well, I figured you could make love with him. Eevee and I can let Pikachu in here when you do."

"Well, I'd love nothing more than to make love with Ash anywhere in his bed or in the shower, even getting you involved to see if you like him, but there's one problem."

"What's the problem?"

"Tracey's in the living room."

"Oh right."

"But not to worry. The three of us have two weeks together. Maybe in that time, you can sort your feelings out and determine if you want Ash in bed with you."

"If I find out that I do have feelings for him, I hope you don't mind sharing."

"Only with his admirers that I can trust. If that includes you, then I'm more than willing to share. Now, what about your breasts?" Chloe checked and saw that the door was locked, so with a great deal of embarrassment, she lifted her shirt up to her neck. "A C-Cup, huh? That's a good bust size. Nothing to be ashamed of."

"Thanks…" Chloe then remembered something else as she put her shirt back down. "By the way, are you a little worried that you might get in competition with Iris? She seemed really excited to see Ash."

"Hmm…That's a good point. Even if I could trust her, she'd have to wait until after the Pokélympics to get in bed with him. Anyway, we better get ready and reunite with the boys."

"Right."

A few minutes later, Ash and Serena were showing Chloe and Tracey around Lumiose City. They could tell that the couple were feeling nostalgic. Since the games didn't start until tomorrow, they figured that they'd go around the town a little bit. Ash and Serena agreed that they should at least show Chloe a few of the shops there. They had to wait for Tracey at one shop, though, because he needed to buy a new sketch pad, having used all the paper on his last one. He bought a three-pack of sketch pads, so he wouldn't run out.

They went to a dress shop so Serena and Chloe could try on dresses. Chloe noticed that Ash wasn't acting like his usual self. Serena came out wearing a white bikini with a sheer skirt and sandals, getting her boyfriend to tug at his collar. Chloe came out wearing a pink frilly bikini and was barefoot, getting Serena to smirk at Ash's reaction as well as Chloe's nervous expression. Ash knew Chloe was a beauty in her own right, but he still chose to remain loyal to the honey blonde Performer/Coordinator.

The girls then came out wearing dresses, with Serena in a red one and Chloe in a green one. The maroon-haired girl didn't mind it except for the cleavage both dresses showed. She knew Serena wasn't trying to get her to wear anything downright provocative, but she had the sinking feeling that her mentor was trying to get another woman she could share Ash with, one that she could trust. As Serena hadn't met her until today, that ruled out Iris until further notice as far as they were concerned.

Ash looked around while the girls were changing into one more set of clothes and he noticed that Tracey was nowhere to be found. He looked back at the dressing room and saw the girls in sweat pants, sports bras, and cross-trainers. From their poses, Ash could see that Serena had a lot of confidence, something Chloe's pose lacked. "Well?" Serena asked. "What do you think?"

"I've got to say, you both look absolutely beautiful," Ash said with a sincere smile. The girls changed back into their normal clothes and took what they picked to the counter. Chloe was prepared to pay for hers, but Ash had done so as well, which surprised her. Serena thanked him with a kiss after they exited the store. They found Tracey sketching a Pokémon that resembled a poodle. He rejoined them and saw that Ash was carrying the bags.

The couple then brought Chloe and Tracey to a restaurant that they liked. They noticed Iris at the bar shooing off several guys who tried to hit on her. Most of them got the hint, but one guy had too much wine. "Pikachu, it's time for a rescue," Ash told his best friend. "Use Iron Tail!" Pikachu jumped onto the wall behind the bar and used its tail, which was coated in metal, to hit the guy away from the bar.

"Hey…! *hic* What's the big… *hic* …idea…?" the drunkard asked.

"I think you've had enough," said the manager, who got security to throw him out. "Thank you, Ash. It's been a long time since you and Serena were last here."

"Pikachu and I were just saving our friend," said the Alola Champion.

"I see. Well, please accept our gratitude. Your table's meals are on the house."

"Can you please extend that to Iris as well?"

"Of course." Ash then went over to Iris and helped her up.

"You okay?"

"I am. Thank you," she said, thankful for the rescue. "Is there any way I can repay you?"

"No. I just want you to give it your all at the Games."

"That I will."

"Why don't you sit with us, Iris?" asked Serena, inviting her potential rival.

"Are you sure? I don't want to get in the way of you and Ash, not that I think I can steal him from you."

"It's perfectly fine, Iris," said Tracey. "It's better than sitting alone at the bar."

"Well, I suppose you have a fair point. Okay."

After dinner, the group took Iris back to her hotel room before going to theirs. Ash let them know that his old friend Ritchie was one of his teammates, along with Koichi of the Fighting Dojo in Saffron City, and Anthony, the owner of the Fighting Spirit Gym, just to name a few. Ash and Pikachu didn't explain why, but they were looking forward to the Boxing event, along with several others. Serena had a feeling that he was up to something, but she couldn't quite place what it was.

The group of four got ready for bed with Ash and Serena kissing each other goodnight. Ash soon got out of the shower and in his pajamas before he and Pikachu hit the hay. He then noticed a certain maroon-haired girl at his door. "What's up, Chloe?" he asked.

"Ash, I was wondering…" she began. "What is your view on romance? I know you and Serena are in love, but I want to know your point of view on it."

"Love and romance go hand-in-hand. Love is the strength that goes with the efforts to form a very strong bond with someone you want to spend the rest of your life with. It takes two people in love to meet in the middle to make that connection. Romance is both the journey and the destination. Why did you ask?"

"Does that romance include…sex?" Ash could see the obvious blush on Chloe's face.

"It can. From what I understand, sex is a very strong bonding ritual. Many people, unfortunately, prefer it as a stress relief or to have a good time while others prefer only to have sex with the one they love. If it's the latter case, like I wish I could have with Serena, then that can strengthen the love they have, hence why it's called 'making love'."

"Yeah, we were talking about that earlier and I even encouraged her to make love with you. She's beautiful, you're handsome, you're both in love, and she even expressed as much interest in you as you did her. I really wish I could find that someone I could have that bond with."

"You'll find that special someone. And when you do, it'll be a whole new experience for you."

"I bet you're right about that."

"I'll tell you something else, though. You're not lacking in the looks department yourself. It took every ounce of willpower I had not to take you both back to the dressing room and start a threesome."

"Well, that's all I'd ask. Thanks, Ash. Um…"

"What is it?"

"I wanted to know what your opinion was on Iris."

"Iris?" Ash asked.

"Yeah. It's clear that you two are close, but I just don't know how close."

"Iris and I had a bit of a rocky start when we first met in Unova. She thought I was some rookie trainer, but Pikachu and I proved otherwise. Of course, it is understandable. When we first met, Iris' Haxorus was still an Axew that hid in her hair. I had no idea at the time, so I threw a Poké Ball at her and hit her in the head. It took us a bit, but we became friends eventually. Unlike with Serena, Iris and I had our ups and downs, constantly arguing back and forth."

"You two sound like siblings."

"It was that way when we were going through Unova. You think our arguments got bad, but you didn't want to be around Misty."

"The Cerulean City Gym Leader? Why?"

"Let's just say that she's far from an angel. Misty has been known to hit both me and Brock multiple times, along with threatening to make her Psyduck get a headache. Both of us have had to help her keep her temper under control."

"That bad!?" Chloe asked, unknowingly getting Serena's attention. "How did you ever get along with Misty!?"

"I still argue with Misty sometimes, even called her out on her violent streak, and I always wonder how I ever get along with her. Then I remember that she is the youngest of four sisters and her three older sisters were often the favorites. That was always a sore subject for her, especially when Violet and Lily always rubbed it in her face. Still, she's become mature enough to know that these were uncalled for and it's something she regrets to this day."

"Misty never had a brother, did she?"

"Nope."

"Then I guess you fill that role perfectly. After all, you've never had siblings of your own."

"True. Anyway, it's getting late, Chloe."

"Right. You better get your rest. Goodnight. Sleep tight."

"You too, Chloe. Goodnight." With that, they shared one last smile before Chloe closed the door. They knew that they had to get ready for the start of the Pokélympics, so Ash and Pikachu immediately went to sleep, eager to test their mettle.

CHAPTER 1 END

Alright, this is the start of my latest project. Hopefully, it won't go up in smoke. I'm still working on how the competitors are going to do each event, but the events will be the same as the actual 2024 Olympics. Let me know what you think.
