Chapter one: A new Hokage/ Early Life

Minato Namikaze and his wife Kushina Uzumaki was in a hidden cave away from the village preparing for the arrival of their son Menma Uzumaki-Namikaze birth. The main reason they were out of the village was because of how potent the demonic chakra that the nine tails gave off towards the last week of her pregnancy. There were only a few people who knew she was pregnant and fewer who knew Minato was the father of the baby. After delivering baby the nurse started checking him over to make sure he was healthy. Minato wanted to name the baby after one of the main characters in his sensei books. However, Kushina disagreed saying she didn't want her baby named after a main character of one his pervert sensei books she never truly liked Jiraiya and didn't want her child to be anywhere near that man just as she said that the nurse in the room fell dead.
When the parents looked over toward the nurse who was hold baby Menma they saw a man in an orange mask who was now holding baby Menma in his arm and the stranger told Minato to step away from the container of the nine tails he placed a tag on Menma's blanket and threw him at his father. After catching and getting his son out the room Minato threw the blanket away saving Menma's life and place him in a crib within his family house. Once Minato left the room the man took Kushina outside of the village and tried to extract the nine tails out of her However, the man found out that she didn't have the beast within her anymore. Once the man found that out he processed to try to stab her in the chest but Minato came in time to stop the man and save his wife from death at the man's hands. Kushina who had little to no energy left tried to untie herself from the stone pillar the man had her tied to but out of nowhere a man wearing a black clock stabbed her through the heart before she passed she heard one final sentence "He should've been mine not yours" said a female voice. After killing Kushina the female went to plan B she knew that there may had been a chance that she may not be able to get the nine tails to destroy the village however that why she was always had another plan.
-5 minutes later within the village-
The Hidden leaf was being attacked by weird monsters, Rōshi and Han who was leading other Iwagakure ninjas into battle. The worse part of the invasion was the facts that for one the four tails was destroying the village and everyone was trying to fight the beast back and for two their beloved fourth Hokage was missing in action. The strange part about all of this was that it seems like the Han was place under a genjutsu because he was seeking revenge for his fellow Uzumaki clan members a clan Iwagakure personally helped destroy during the Second Shinobi War. Konoha had thrown their best fighters at the two tailed beast containers and strange monsters who don't go don't easy. They weren't going down easy as the fight kept going on Han decided it was time to stop playing games and started attack the village using his boil release burning houses and other things down. That's until an unlikely ally in Orochimaru showed up on top of her snake (yes Orochimaru is a female in this story). Orochimaru was only hoping that the fool Jiraiya had taught his student properly would arrive soon she was also worried about her student Kushina who wasn't here.
-Over with Minato-
Once saving his wife Minato Namikaze fought and killed the masked man who was seemly controlling the four tails however this didn't stop Son Goku nor Kukuo from attacking the village. Minato knew there was only one way to go protect the village from being destroyed. He made the tough decision to seal the four tails within his son he left the field to go grab his son. After grabbing his son, he went to get her to help him with his plan however when he got there Kushina was tied up and dead. Steeling his heart and emotions he took his son and went to the battlefield. When Orochimaru saw the Minato she asked "Where is Kushina and why do you have my godson at a battlefield" however she received no answer. Minato threw his kunai and teleported himself, his son and the four tailed beast away from the battlefield this pissed off Orochimaru who would go after him however the five tails was still within the village and the third Hokage had asked her to stay and help drive out the village.
Minato knew that the full nine tails was already placed with his son however he knew that the seal would be able to hold multiple tailed beasts within it however he and his toads were having a hard ass time holding down Son Goku while somehow Rōshi was attacking Minato. After 10 minutes of fighting both Rōshi and Son Goku after thinking about for a long minute he decided to do a forbidden Jutsu that would steal the tailed beast however it would cost Rōshi's life although at this point Minato didn't care. Once Minato started to seal Son Goku within Menma and Kurama saw this he tried to stop the process however he was locked behind the seal. while Minato was doing the forbidden jutsu he felt a hand pulling on his soul when he opened his eyes he saw the being called Yami. "Listen human for the price of using this jutsu requires the death of the user I will seal the beast into you son along with other gifts but your soul now belongs to ME" said Yami before pulling Minato into her body "Now for you I will give you the gift of the phoenix use it wisely" said Yami before leaving.
-Back in the village-
Orochimaru had finally taking Han however the Iwagakure soldiers had gotten to their leader and taken him out of the village leaving them to deal with the strange monsters that took them a moment to deal with.
-5 hours later-
A baby with Hazel eyes and midnight blue hair in a curb crying somehow he knew his parents were dead. The 3rd Hokage and Orochimaru were standing around the crib looking at the baby. They were waiting for Jiraiya and Tsunade to show up after waiting 20 more minutes they finally showed up.
"So this is my godson?" asked Jiraiya going to picking him up
"Yes" replied Hiruzen Sarutobi
"No Kushina told me she didn't want this man around her baby" said Orochimaru stepping in front of Jiraiya stopping the man from touching the baby
"Orochimaru move out the way and let me see my godson" said Jiraiya
"Jiraiya back up if you really care about him you would have been here to see his birth " said Tsunade
"Whatever" said Jiraiya walking and leaning on a wall
"The odd thing is that he has teal pupils, Hazel eyes, and midnight blue hair. Why is that Tsunade?" asked Orochimaru as she looked at her former teammate
"We don't know maybe it has something to deal with two tailed beasts being placed inside of him" said Hiruzen
"Wait two?" said all three students of Hiruzen
"The seal that he did is different I don't believe the Minato sealed the demon" said Hiruzen
"What do you mean two tailed beast the nine tails was already sealed with the boy" said Orochimaru
"Let me take a look" said Jiraiya when he placed his hand where the seal was. Jiraiya couldn't make heads or tails of what he was looking at it was like the beast was sealed by something or someone else.
"Tsunade, can you check the baby's health?" asked Hiruzen
"Well for one he has larger chakra reserves then any Uzumaki I ever met" replied Tsunade
"Anything else?" Asked Hiruzen
"No" replied Tsunade
"So, his name is Naruto right?" Asked Jiraiya
"His name is Menma" responded Orochimaru
"What's wrong with Naruto?" asked Jiraiya
"Are you even going to be in his life his early life?" asked Hiruzen
"Well we can't give him his father's last name too many people wanted him dead" said Jiraiya avoiding the question
"Can't give him the last name of Uzumaki if it ever got out he's the nine tails with the last name "Uzumaki" people would try to kidnap him just like what happened with Kushina" said Orochimaru
"Damn it I was going to give him her last name but you make a good point" said Hiruzen
"Why not give him to his godmother that's in the village?" Asked Orochimaru Knowing Jiraiya wasn't fit to be a good parent to the child
"Mikoto is an Uchiha that could be a problem" said Hiruzen
"Well I'm his godfather however I have a" said Jiraiya before he was interrupted
"That has to be the weakest excuse I have ever heard you have a godson who needs you and you're going to leave him because you have a spy network that mind you doesn't work half of the time" said Orochimaru this pissed off Jiraiya who knew she was right half of the information that he got in the last few years hasn't been accurate.
"Maybe Kakashi could raise him he was the student of the fourth" said Jiraiya trying to tune out Orochimaru
"Are you dumb that is a dead giveaway that he's the son of Minato" said Orochimaru
"That has to be one of the dumbest things you ever said" commented Tsunade
"Well it seems like I'm not needed here good luck" said Jiraiya leaving out the window
"That damn fool this is why you should have made me Hokage none of this mess would have happened" said Orochimaru
"You don't have the will of fire" said Hiruzen
"Fuck you and your bullshit ass will of fire look around you old man the world is changing" said Orochimaru before she walked out away with Menma she was followed out by Tsunade
"Wait what happened to the Han?" asked Hiruzen stopping Orochimaru in her tracks
"I stopped him however he got away" said Orochimaru lying
"I'm going to place him within the bingo book" said Hiruzen
"Do as you must" said Orochimaru walking away with baby Menma planning to implant something that will help him in the future
-In the seal-
"YOU TRIED TO KILL MY CONTAINER" yelled Kurama slamming her bother into the cage bars with her tails
"Hey it's not my fault my container and me was placed under a heavy genjutsu" said Son Goku grabbing the tails and throwing her off of him
"Stop lying!" growled Kurama
"Yami sealed both of us in here" replied Son Goku ready to defend himself
"What's the last thing you remember?" asked Kurama
"Last thing I remember is Rōshi and Han fighting some guy in a mask with a weird looking animal thing helping him" said Son Goku
"Did the eyes have tomoes in them?" asked Kurama
"Yes" replied Son Goku
"Damn the kit going to definitely need me as soon as possible" said Kurama
"Yes we're going have to help him because in the event we don't we could end up with a weak container" replied Son Goku
"You seriously want to help him why?" asked Kurama
"I will help as well to get revenge" said Son Goku
"You try to hurt him and I'll kill you myself" said Kurama
"Yeah yea" replied Son Goku
-20 minutes later-
Every clan head was with the room waiting on their Hokage to come in address what the hell was going on, All the clan had lost several members within their clan. Danzo himself had lost several root members he would have to replenish soon however he knew with number of deaths that happened tonight he would have to look outside the village. When the door opened everyone the room hoping it was their beloved fourth Hokage the person who came through the door wasn't their beloved fourth, it was the third Hokage.
"Not trying to be rude but where is lord fourth?" Asked Shikaku Nara who was looking for his cousin Minato everyone in the room was thinking the same thing.
"Lord fourth has died sealing the four tails I will be taking back over as Hokage for the time being" said Hiruzen this hit Shikaku hard although he was trying not to show it. Another clan head in the room knew his wife would be heartbroken knowing her former teammate and her best friend were both dead.
"Where did he seal it?" Asked one of the council members
Before the 3rd Hokage could respond he was interrupted by someone else
"With all due respect if the 4th Hokage sealed the beast only the 5th Hokage, Elders and clan heads should know that information" Said Shibi Aburame
"The tailed beast was sealed within a baby no this doesn't make the baby the beast just it's jailer" said the third Hokage not listening to the man
This caused uproar with the room with people saying, "Kill the baby" and other crazy stuff however the third KI quieted the room. The Hokage kicked all the civilians out the room leaving only the clan heads and elders in the room. All the clan heads were shaking their heads disapprovingly at Hiruzen they agree with Shibi statement and now they saw the impact it just caused.
"May we know who the parents were?" Asked Danzo
"No you may not" said Hiruzen
Everyone knew that the baby's mother had to be Kushina Uzumaki because that's the only clan that has been the jailer of the nine tails since the First Shinobi war.
"I would like to take in the young boy" said Shikaku Nara
"Sorry but I can't allow that my wife would have me sleeping on the couch if I allowed her godson to leave here with another clan" said Fugaku Uchiha
"The boy should be raised as a good weapon for the village" said Danzo
"No the boy will be placed in the orphanage" said Hiruzen
"THE ORPHANAGE" said all the clan heads at the time looking at the Hokage like he lost his mind
"Lord third I implore you to reconsider that is a dumb idea " said Hiashi Hyuga
What's the boy's surname going to be?" Asked Shibi Aburame
"Uzumaki" said the Hokage
"An Uzumaki within the leaf is going to bring more trouble in our current situation" said Shikaku Nara
"Do you not remember during the Second Shinobi war? What happened to the Uzumaki Village? Do you not remember how the Stone, Sand, Mist and Cloud all joined up to destroy them? "Asked Tsume Inuzuka
"Yes I remember all of that however my decision is final" said the 3rd Hokage
"Actually we will vote to see who be the new Hokage" said Inoichi Yamanaka
"I agree you have proved time after time you lack the will to do the right thing" said Danzo
"Who can lead this village besides me?" Said Hiruzen slamming his fist against the table
"Anyone other than you, your decisions after the third war showed that we were need of new leadership" said Shikaku Nara
"We can easily pick a new Hokage for example me I would be able to lead this village to new height" said Danzo
"I agree Danzo would be a great 5th Hokage" said Koharu Utatane
"Isn't he the same man running the Root anbu (NE) the same anbu that Hiruzen told him disband" said Fugaku Uchiha
"I agree with Fugaku if you can't stop a man from running a secret organization how can you leading a village" said Chōza all the clan heads agreed
"So who out of all of you could running this village better than me" asked Hiruzen
"Shikaku the fire daimyo is fickle you and I know this to be true right now we need a leader so we need to pick the next Hokage I would like to ask Hiruzen and the elders to leave" said Inoichi
"Are you mad?" asked Koharu Utatane
"Why do we need to leave?" Asked the Homura Mitokado
"Because we will take a vote among ourselves and we will pick who we think should be the next Hokage and all you two are going to do is ass kiss Danzo the whole time so leave" said Shikaku
"You're making a big mistake allow me temporary leadership so I can get us out of this" said Hiruzen
"No, with due respect you had your time you couldn't stop Danzo, you allowed the Uzumaki clan to be destroyed then set up an alliance with one of the villages who helped destroy them" said Shibi
-5 minutes later-
After the Elders and Hiruzen left the room every clan head gave their opinion on who should be the next Hokage. They weren't allowed to vote for themselves however they did have to give context on why they were voting for the person they chose.
"The village needs a strong leader but also need a leader who can lead us into the future so what that being said I vote for Shibi he is one the smartest person I've ever met and his clan just like mine lean on family " said Tsume Inuzuka
"Thank you Tsume-Chan" said Shibi Aburame
"While I agree with that if we're talking smart and strong I think wicked eye Fugaku whose name alone just like Minato got him a run-on sight order that's my pick for the next Hokage" said Chōza this shocked a few people in the room who thought he was going to vote for his friend
"My vote goes to Shikaku Nara who is the best choice he is the leader of the anbu and commander during war time the smartest guy besides me and Shibi" said Inoichi
"What's that supposed to mean?" asked Fugaku
"Do you have an IQ of around 160?" Asked Inoichi
"What does that have to do with anything?" Asked Fugaku this unknowingly loss him a vote
"You can have all the power in the world however if your always outsmarted then you'll never win a war only small battles" replied Inoichi
"That what you call a power play" Said Tsume
"My vote just like Tsume goes to Shibi during the last war he showed great leadership and I believe he would be a great leader" said Shikaku
"My choice is Tsume I believe given the opportunity she would be a great leader" said Fugaku
"As much as I would like to vote for Tsume I believe Shikaku wanted be slightly a better Hokage because of the knowledge he already knows" said Shibi
"My vote goes to Shikaku as well for the same reason" said Hiashi
"Well, I see we have a new Hokage congratulations Shikaku Nara the 5th Hokage" said Hiashi
Shikaku moved from his clan head seat to the Hokage seat. The elder weren't allowed back into the room Shikaku told the anbu to inform them that they will be replaced and to thank them for their service. Shikaku would announce there would be new elders that would be a rotating seat every two years.
"The baby will be placed into multiple compounds until he is of age also no one is allowed to tell who the baby who his parents are until he is a chunin" said Shikaku
"But we don't know who the baby is" said Tsume
"The baby is with Orochimaru" said Tsunade who walked into the room
"Lady Tsunade welcome back" said the clan heads
"Wait did you say he's with Orochimaru?" asked Inoichi
"Isn't she a rogue ninja" asked Shibi
"Didn't she do experiments on kids?" asked Chōza argued
"Danzo the leader of root and a former elder of the village ordered her to do it Hiruzen as well enforce these experiments" said the 5th Hokage
This silence the room they knew Danzo was a wicked man however they didn't know why Hiruzen aided or allowed the man to do his evil work. After a few awkward minutes Tsunade decided to speak up.
"As I was saying Menma is with Orochimaru she is watching him I will only be in the village for a week then I'll be gone" said Tsunade
"Can't you stay we need you?" asked Tsume
"No I only came to see my grandnephew being born which unfortunately I was late to" said Tsunade
"And what about the baby?" asked Tsume
"He's an great asset to the village" said Inoichi
"Yes losing a ninja like him would hurt the village" said Fugaku
"Well I plan on taking him out the village for a few years so that I can train him" said Tsunade
"Fine however we need Menma back when he turns 10-year-old" said Shikaku
"Thanks I'll be leaving now to get the baby" said Tsunade getting up and leaving the room
"What about my wife what do I tell her?" asked Fugaku
"Tell her he'll be raised outside the village and that he'll return when he is ten" said Shikaku
"Is this going to an SSS-rank secret?" asked Shibi
"Yes indeed it will be" said Shikaku
Shikaku would inform everyone that Menma is not to be told of his mother until he reached genin rank because not only did she have enemies outside of the village she had some inside as well. He made it a law that they can't talk to their kids about the incident until they were Chunin a rank where ninjas are more understanding of the world they lived in.
-Meanwhile with Orochimaru-
Orochimaru and Menma was in a hospital room she was waiting for her best friend to come back after waiting for ten minutes she saw that not only her best friend but two kids were her.
"Who are these two?" asked Orochimaru
"This young lady is Dan's niece Shizune and this boy is Tenzo" replied Tsunade
"Nice to meet you both" said Orochimaru who smiled at the kids however she was feeling sad at the fact of what she did to the young boy in front of her
"I'm leaving right after his physical is done" Tsunade
"What's his name?" asked Shizune pointing at the baby in her hands
"His name is Menma do you want to hold him?" replied Orochimaru
"Yes please" said Shizune who sat down to hold the baby Menma
"You know you're going to have to leave soon where will you go?" asked Tsunade
"I have my own village I will be taking Menma with me to train so that he's not treated like other jinchuriki" said Orochimaru
"You know they will hunt you down until they get the boy back" replied Tenzo
"Yes I know however I have no one in this village I can trust in this damn village" replied Orochimaru
"What about Captain Kakashi or me?" said Tenzo
"You will be leaving with me I'll be damned if they use you like they used my family before" said Tsunade who KI scared both kids after seeing the faces of the kids and causing the baby to cry she stopped
"I'm sorry" said Tsunade
"Its alright we understand" said Tenzo and Shizune
"Well I must be going "said Orochimaru
"I thought we were going to leave next week?' asked Anko who walked in the room
"No sweetheart we will be leaving as soon as possible" replied Orochimaru
"Well we will be on our way make sure you send pictures of Menma or else I'll kill you" said Tsunade in a sweet motherly tone
"Yeah yea mom we'll see you" said Orochimaru
-2 Hours later in the Hokage tower-
"Commander good afternoon where is the baby and where is the Hokage?" asked Kakashi heart pounding
"Well good afternoon I'm the Hokage now and the baby is with Orochimaru" replied the 5th Hokage
"What is Orochimaru doing here?" asked Kakashi
"She's taking care of the baby until he is of age" replied Shikaku
"She's a rogue ninja" replied Yugao who was standing right next to her husband
"Well she is one of the baby's godmothers" said Shikaku
"Can we trust her?" asked Yugao
"At the moment there is nothing we can do without losing more ninjas" said Shikaku
"What's his surname and can I leave to watch over him?" asked Kakashi Hatake
"You mean WE" said Yugao who was the student of Kushina
"His surname will be Uzumaki-Namikaze however for now he will only use Nara as his surname for now it'll be too dangerous for him to have one of his parents last names they both had many enemies within the ninja world he would be place in the bingo book just for being alive on top of that if I was to send you to watch over him people would know who his parents are and would attack Menma" said Shikaku
"Can we see him before he leaves" said Yugao
"Unfortunately, she has left with the baby however in 5 years you two will be doing a check up on him" said the 5th Hokage with a smirk
"Thank you so much" said Kakashi who understood
-Menma life between 1-3 years old -
During Menma's first three years he was loved by everyone who met him although at times he come off a little weird because of his eyes and hair plus the fact he REALLY loved fighting and reading. People thought this was weird because to them a kid his age should be outside having fun and playing however Menma was more interested in knowledge just like his godmother. Menma also had a thing for raw meat to him it was the food of gods although he didn't get to eat it often his older sister figure wouldn't let him eat raw meat everyday day. Living in the small land of rice Menma met more people who was a part of the Uzumaki clan the first people he met was Karin and Tayuya Uzumaki.
-Menma life between 4-6 years old -
At age four Menma was placed into a tube and given DNA of the 1st Hokage and the 3rd Kazekage to make sure he was strong and always could protect himself against people who came to attack him. A few people around Orochimaru HIGHLY disagreed with giving the boy these two DNA because of the deaths during the experiments she did before However, she told them she was doing what was best for the boy. After being in the pod for half of a year Menma's body had recovered and adjected from the experiment. Orochimaru had made sure to gather more people to join their small village making it stronger once Anko saw her little brother she wanted to take the boy and ran away however there was nowhere. Anko threaten Orochimaru if she tried to hurt or experiment on the Menma again in any way she would kill her this draw the ire of Orochimaru who activated her stolen sharingan and placed Anko into a S-rank genjutsu one where only she or someone else with a dojutsu could wake up her. Orochimaru's personal assistant Kabuto had taken over Menma's education while Rōshi who was placed under a genjutsu taught him on how to use his tailed breast charka so that he wouldn't hurt himself or even the people around him. When Menma turned six he had learned that his teacher was former Iwagakure ninja however Rōshi was originally from the former Uzushiogakure no Sato before being kidnapped by Iwa ninjas. He also learned that Rōshi was the former host of the four tails however couldn't remember why he attacked the Leaf village on the day he was also informed that Rōshi didn't have that much time left seeing as he had a tailed beast ripped out of his body however, he was glad that Menma had been the next container of the beast that was his friend. Rōshi did his best to try to teach Menma how to do Lava release techniques sadly he couldn't do them he had a fire element however it wasn't normal and he could barely control it. Menma was taught E to C ranked jutsus however his teachers knew the boy was on a small-time frame and that they only had 4 years left to teach him everything he need before he would have to go to the leaf village since Orochimaru had promised his return to the village. When Menma was tested to see what charka natures and how powerful they were he had found out that he had all five and a few kekkei genkai.
-Menma life 7-9 years old-
When Menma turned seven he met Kakashi Hatake, Yugao Hatake, and Itachi Uchiha from the hidden leaf village their first meeting wasn't the best it almost ended with an all-out battle between the two sides. After Orochimaru had smooth everything over they were allowed to see, hang out, and teach the young Menma multiple things. However, when they were allowed to take the boy to the hidden leaf he was attacked by some villagers when Orochimaru heard what happened she immediately showed up and killed everyone who placed they hands on the boy and told Shikaku that next she'll declare war on the village if he's attacked again. After that the civilian council lost a lot of power and the anbu members who were supposed to watch over Menma was killed for failing to do their job. On a more positive note, Menma made friends with a couple of kids the likes of being Shikamaru Nara, Neji Hygua, and Shino Aburame. After a two-week vocation which felt like a week because the attack Menma had to leave to get back to training. A few months later Menma had taken a trip the Sunagakure he wasn't the biggest fan of the desert or the heat however he made a friend named Gaara who also had a tailed beast inside of him he was also the son of the current Kazekage Rasa who taught Menma and Gaara some tips and tricks on how to use their sand more effectively. After two spending two months training and meeting people in the village Orochimaru had to set a manual trade with the village and Menma had made new friends and a rival within Gaara.
The next stop on his training trip would be Kumogakure where he would train with the famous Killer Bee on a ancient floating island during his training Menma had learned that he had a Steel and Poison Kekkei genkai. For the next two months Killer Bee and Menma had trained on sword play and training his tailed beast charka after feeling like he trained the boy to a good level Bee told his student that because he wasn't a Cloud ninja he couldn't teach him anything else giving a deep bow Menma thanked the man and left to go to the last stop which was at Kirigakure. Once Menma got there he was met by Yagura Karatachi the fourth Mizukage when Menma introduced himself Yagura gained a deep smile he had personally taken on the job of training Menma. Six months later Menma was still within the village and now was living there when Karin and Tayuya came looking for him he told of them he wanted to stay with the Mist village and became a mist ninja maybe even became one of the Seven ninja Swordsmen of the bloody mist. Once Orochimaru was told of this she had agreed to it however she let it be known that their problems with them keeping him in within the village since he had two tailed beasts sealed within him. A year later Orochimaru made it known to the hidden leaf that her godson had found a new home and would not be returning to the village this was terrible news for Shikaku although he was happy to hear that his nephew was happy. When the news got out that Menma wasn't going to return the village there was a huge celebration that the demon container was gone never to come back however this party was shut down by the many clans within the village. Speaking of said clans this news didn't go over well with them the attack from eight years ago had crippled the village mentally, physically, and financially especially since they would have to hand over Menma's inheritance. There were discussions on getting another tailed beast or demanding the mist village being back Menma however they didn't have the manpower to take on Yagura and Utakatha then there an idea to get a different tailed beast. The seventh tailed beast Fu was a member of Takigakure a smaller village that in the past they had problems with as much as Shikaku didn't like the idea of causing a war he known they needed a tailed beast however the question was who the container for the beast would be? After a LONG discussion it was decided that Shino Aburame would be the container and only the Hokage and clan heads would know the civilian counsel at this time had been disbanded and only 10 civilians that had been rotated every two months was allowed to vote on non-ninjas activities within the village. Year nine for Menma was as normal as it could get he joined the ninja academy, made friends with a couple of his classmates, and he was one of the top students in the whole academy.
- Menma life years 10 -12 -
The Hidden leaf village has been rebuilt over the last ten years there had been a lot of changes within the village for one the Uchiha clan and The Hyuga clan who was two of the strongest clan within the village had been downsize in number of members. 25% of the members had died during invade of Iwagakure and 40% was killed due to a coup they were planning against the village Itachi after his father's death took control of the clan. The Hyuga clan lost fewer members however lost more important people being their elders and the clan head who were killed by the branch family. They killed every main house member besides Hinata and her sister after the death of the clan head Hoheto Hyuga took over being clan head since Neij's father was poisoned while returning to the village by an unknown ninja he later dead peacefully in his bed. Shikaku time as Hokage during his first year wasn't easy the fact that two of his most powerful clan had in fighting painted the picture that he wasn't fit to be Hokage. Hiruzen at no point in time make it easy for the man to do his job continually unminding the man saying that if he was still leader this wouldn't have happened. This had pissed off some of the clan head who voted to remove the man from the room his son Asuma Sarutobi had to take over clan meetings placing the 3rd Hokage in retirement. One day at the village gates early morning Two chunin named Izumo and Kotetsu were sitting at the village gates when they saw a group of people coming towards them at first they thought that the groups were of a Jonin and three genin coming back from a mission however as the look closer they noticed it wasn't a group returning to the village. In the front was a young boy who stood at like 5'6, he had tan skin, he was wearing a white fur coat that had the Uzumaki symbol in the middle, the coat was open which showed his black muscle shirt, He had on some black anbu pants they had red lines in them, his legs and ankles were with bandage with black tape, and he had a mask that only showed his eyes. To the left of the boy was another who stood almost as tall as him. He had pale skin, golden eyes, and white-blue hair. The boy was wearing a black shirt with a white snake design on it, black gloves, grey anbu pants, and black boots. To the right of them were three others that they couldn't really see clearly like they had a genjutsu placed on them or something.
-5 minutes later-
When Menma and his group made it to the gate they were stopped had was asked to present their Identity cards when they saw the name Menma on one of the Identity cards the Hokage was called immediately. When Shikaku and his personal guard Kakashi got there they asked Menma to lower his masks upon seeing his face they were happy and however this this brought up a question why is he here and who are these people around him? Menma had grown well over the last couple of years since the last time Kakashi had seen him however he noticed somethings that were different from when he saw the boy last time. The boy had Viking locs like he barely washed his hair. He wore earrings that represented the nine tails and it looked like the boy had tattoos on his arms. He also had two wolves next to him and he wasn't alone there were other people with him.
"Hello who are you please state your names and why you are here?" asked the 5th Hokage making sure this was really Menma
"Hey, I'm Mitsuki and I'm here to make sure they got here safely" said the young teen handing the gate guard a paper to sign stating that the group made it here safely (btw this is Log the older clone of Mitsuki I just have him using the name for now until later)
"My name is Suigetsu Hōzuki I'm here to make sure no one harms my main man Menma" said the one behind the group. Suigetsu is a lean-built young man of average height, straight white hair with a light-blue tint to it in the anime, almond shaped purple eyes, he has pointed teeth. He is wearing a purple, sleeveless shirt with blue pants, sandals and a belt around his waist with water bottles attached to it. He had the Hiramekarei blades known one of the famous swords of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist on his back
"I am Anko Mitarashi returning back from a S-rank long mission" answered the one on Menma's left
"Hey, I'm Angel Hōzuki protector of Menma-sama" said Angel who was standing on Naruto's right. Angel stood 5'2, had golden skin, her eyes were blue, hair was jet black, she wore light red armor that had two long swords on the back.
"I'm Menma Namikaze-Hoshigaki and I request an audience with the Hokage" stated Menma. This shocked everyone at the gate and Shikaku knew that he needed to get the boy to the tower fast and talk to him maybe try to get him to stay. After getting his papers signed the one known as Mitsuki waved them a goodbye and left to return to the Sound Village. "Well welcome to The Hidden Leaf Village I would like you all to follow me besides Anko you're need at the IT department" said Shikaku. Menma heard a woof and look down at his nin animals "Oh sorry these two are Zoe" as he pointed at the one on the left "and he's Leo" said Menma as he followed the Hokage.
-10 minutes later in the Hokage tower-
"Menma do you know who I am?" asked The Hokage
"I only know a few things about this village and my family history" replied Menma
"And what all do you know" asked the Hokage
"I know who my mother and father are, I know about the nine tails and the four tails which are sealed within me, my godmother Tsunade told me to inform you she's not coming back to the village, and I request all the Uzumaki items in the village plus the Senju compound" said Menma. Most of the people were shocked that he knew this information most of the people in the room didn't like the fact that the boy knew who his mother was or that Tsunade gave the boy her compound Shikaku was the first to start asking questions.
"How and who told you about the tailed beasts?" asked Shikaku
"I met both of them one is an ass hole and the other one loves to train the body and the mind both are very helpful though they told me only the Uzumaki clan has been the container for the nine tails anyone else who has tried has died a horrible death" said Menma
"Did Tsunade give you the compound?" asked Kakashi
"I won it in a poker game versus her" Said Menma his group laughed remembering what happened
"Why do you want all of the Uzumaki items? I believe I know why however I want to hear it from you" said Shikaku hoping he was wrong about what he was thinking
"Well, I am a Uzumaki so I want to learn more about my clan and use them to become one of the best ninjas this world has ever seen" Said Menma
"He's probably telling the truth however I'll wait till I see something different" thought Shikaku
"Understandable however why don't you use the Uzumaki name along with the Namikaze? "Asked Kakashi
"The Namikaze clan has a dojutsu but wasn't a true threat to the ninja world while if I used the Uzumaki name my name and face would be one the highest bounties just for being alive my former teacher was a Uzumaki and upon leaving Otogakure he was hunted down and killed" replied Menma
"Indeed, I am sorry to hear about the death of your teacher however it there anything we can do to keep you here?" asked Kakashi
"The Kiri is waiting for master Menma return in the event we don't leave in 24 hours they will be a war between the two sides" said Suigetsu
"That's understandable however Menma your father had many enemies you do know this right? I am speaking as an uncle not as the Hokage" replied Shikaku looking Menma deep within his eyes
"Understandable uncle however the fact is that Iwagakure, Kumogakure, and Amegakure are hunting down any and all Uzumaki members I am not that powerful so unless I am more powerful I will use my father's and the clan that took me in surnames" stated Menma
-2 hour later-
Menma and Shikaku had talked about the last few years of his life and about the village. They found that Menma life outside the village had better then the few times he had been inside the village they had also asked if Menma had activated his dojutsu yet however he hadn't. They also found out he had run into his supposed godfather that meeting didn't go so well it was the reason why Jiraiya needed life or death surgery a few months ago. When asked what happened as Menma told them Orochimaru beat the dog shit out of Jiraiya. Menma made it crystal clear he wanted nothing to do with that man a few people in the room hope that in the future the boy would change his mind.
"Menma you do know that you're a have some Nara in you as well" said Shikaku
"How?" asked Menma
"Your father was my 3rd cousin" replied Shikaku this shocked everyone in the room beside those who are ready knew the fact
"Troublesome" said Menma smiling at his uncle and Shikaku smiled back at him
"What about you two were you ninjas in any village? Asked the 5th Hokage
"Kiri " replied Suigetsu
"Kiri" said Angel
"They're both Kiri ninjas however they didn't give out their rank" thought Shikaku
"Menma I will show you where your compound is" said Kakashi
"Okay come on guys" said Menma as he and Kakashi left out of the room
" We need to call a meeting " Said Sakumo who was listening and thinking the whole time. When the group left Shikaku had 2 anbu follow them until they made it to the compound.
"About what?" replied Shikaku
"Orochimaru has her own village in the Land of Rice which took over the land of grass and maybe Uzushiogakure since Menma seems to be thinking of bringing it back" Said Sakumo
"Set up a meeting in two hours no civilians" said Shikaku
-Two Hours later-
In the Counsel room you had the civilians on one side and the clan heads on the other with the Hokage and the elders being in the middle. The clan heads were the following people:
Inoichi Yamanaka ⅓ of the famous ino-shika-cho had long ash blond hair reaching into his lower back, which he wore spiky on top and ending in a long ponytail, light green eyes and strong facial features, which included a well-defined jawline.
Chōza Akimichi ⅓ of the famous ino-shika-cho is a tall, plump man with naturally brown hair, but seems to wear a long, spiky red hairpiece. He has purple markings on his cheeks — a common trait in the Akimichi clan. He wears a samurai like outfit which entails a black suit completed with armor that has the kanji for "food" (食, shoku) on it. He also wears a rope belt, handguards, and instead of a forehead protector — a hachimaki tied around his head.
Shibi Aburame, like all members of his clan, has his eyes obscured by dark glasses which feature a single tassel hanging down from one-side. He has very spiky short black hair and a moustache. He typically wears a high collared outfit, while carrying a gourd on his back that is used for holding more kikaichū. He also tends to keep his hands in his pockets a lot, another trait he and his son share.
Tsume Inuzuka has an animalistic look similar to that of her son Kiba. She has long, spiky, untamed brown hair, vertical slit-like pupils, elongated canine teeth and nails. She also has the clan fang markings on her cheeks as well as markings over her eyes and a dark shade of purple lipstick. She wears the standard outfit of a Konoha shinobi consisting of a flak jacket and a black suit underneath with the sleeves rolled up and bandages around her legs.
Ensui Nara has black hair which he ties into a short, high-top ponytail. He also has a goatee and dark-green markings underneath his eyes which gives him a somewhat lazy or tired appearance. Attire-wise, he wears the standard outfit of the Konoha shinobi consisting of the standard flak jacket and uniform.
Hoheto Hyuga Like all members of the Hyūga clan, he possesses featureless white eyes. He has brown hair which he styles in a top-knot and wears the standard Konoha-nin uniform.
Itachi Uchiha is a tall man of fair complexion. He had black eyes, under which were long, pronounced tear-troughs. He had jet-black hair that was pulled back in a low ponytail and his face was framed with center-parted bangs that extended to his chin; his casual clothes consisted of a black shirt with the Uchiha clan symbol on the back, bandages around his ankles, and black sandals. He wore tan pants with a weapons pouch strapped to his back.
Asuma was a tall man, with brown eyes, olive skin, short black spiky hair, and a beard. His clothing consisted of the standard Konoha ninja uniform with the sleeves rolled up halfway, flak jacket, regular shinobi sandals and forehead protector. He also wore a sash that had the kanji for "Fire" (火) marked on it around his waist, a pair of black bangles, and bandages wrapped around the arms of his sleeves.
"Good afternoon you may all be seated if you're standing" Said Shikaku Nara everyone standing sat down over the past the civilians have calmed down one reason was that the demon was out of their village until today
"Is it true that the nine tails container is back?" asked one the Asuma
"His name is Menma, yes he is the container for the nine tails" warned the 5th Hokage
"I'm sorry I wasn't trying to be rude I was just never informed on what his name was" said Asuma
"Hokage-Sama is it true that the Uzumaki clan back?" asked Shibi
"Out intel hasn't said anything yet however they could be and they maybe rebuilding their village" said Shikaku
"We should prepare for war" said Chōza
"I agree with the history of Han and the death of his brother in arms Rōshi he's possibly building an army plus somewhere Orochimaru is out there we need to prepare for any attacks at any moment" said Inoichi
"Well for what we heard from Menma we didn't know anything yet and we don't even know where Han nor Rōshi Uzumaki are at we don't even know if Han is leading them" said Sakumo
"But how long will they stay peaceful and how do we know that the kid is not protecting them?" asked Tsume
"From the information I have gathered Menma's sensei which was Rōshi had been tracked down and killed Han hasn't been seen in a while either Iwagakure probably killed and took his tailed beast placing it into someone loyal to them" said Shikaku
"I believe the real question is(2x) Menma staying within the village to be a ninja?" asked Tsume
"No he's only here to get his inheritance and then be back on his way no one will stop him nor will they try to convince him to stay here" said Shikaku
"And why not?" asked multiple clan heads
"Because he belongs to another village as much as we don't like it if we try to force him to stay there would be war and bloodshed" said Inoichi
"Yes that is true all of our clans are still rebuilding as for Orochimaru to poses no threat to us for now however in the near future that could change and we must be ready " said Itachi whose eyes were bandaged after he killed his father his eyes had to be replaced with his father's giving him the EMS.
"During the rounds in the village one of my members saw two other ninjas with Naruto who were they if you don't mind me asking" said Hoheto
"Why do you ask?" asked Kakashi who appeared in the room
"Well they could have sworn they were from the Land of Grass the same land that Orochimaru took over" stated Hoheto
"Are you sure?" Said Shikaku
"Yes" Hoheto replied
"Did one of them have Orange hair?" asked Tsume getting up
"No" said Sakumo
"Tsume-Sama the killers of your husband will be found soon I promise you "said Shikaku
"I want to be the one to do it" said Tsume
"Tsume take a five-minute break and come back don't do anything crazy Menma nin animals we smell you coming a mile away" said Shikaku
"What do you mean nin animals?" asked Chōza
"He came here with two wolves my bugs told me" Said Shibi
"Hey, we can talk about him later for now we need to plan" said Inoichi
-20 minutes later Menma and his group-
Once they made it to the Senju compound they saw that the compound needs to be cleaned up Menma first thought was if this was what the Senju compound looked like what does his mother's compound look like
"Shadow Clone Jutsu" said Menma two hundred clones proofed into the area
"Master Menma what do you want us to do?" asked Angel
"Hold on Angel" said Menma "Half of you go to the Uzumaki compound and pack things up the other half help clean this place up" said Menma
"What are you going to do with the Uzumaki compound?" asked Suigetsu
"Well as you see we're not really trusted" as Menma pointed towards the two tied up anbu members "and I still have the plan to bring back the Uzushiogakure village in honor of my family and Uncle Rōshi" Said Menma
"I see" they both replied
The Senju compound was large however it used to be bigger before the Leaf village was rebuilt. There were 2 large houses, 4 medium size houses, 4 small houses and two training grounds. They come up with a plan to tear down two of the small houses to make a bigger training ground. When they went into one of the large houses it had 4 floors 12 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms, 2 libraries, a large kitchen with a long table, and 2 living rooms. They explore the other large house seeing that it had the same thing when they went to explore medium size house and the small house they saw they were all the same they just had less of everything that the large house had. Menma decided that he would somehow connect the one of the large houses with one of the smaller houses to make more room within the compound however first he had to clean and replace the stuff all the old stuff.
"Shadow Clone Jutsu" said Menma as he used one hand to make the sign 100 more clones popped up
"Set up the seals within the compound "said Menma he liked this one because it helped him the most.
"Yes Sir" said all the clones
-2 hours later-
The Senju compound was completely cleaned up by Menma, Angel, Suigetsu and his clones. After they finished cleaning up and throwing out all the old stuff they decided they would move into one house. They removed all their stuff out of the seals they brought with them and tried to fill up the house they all were going to stay in. After they finished they went out to eat some lunch and go to the stores to fill up the houses with new household items and ninja tools etc. While out they ran into two people Shino and Shikamaru.
"Hey you two how have you been?" asked Menma while his group behind were staring down the two who walked up to their leader.
"Wait Menma? Is that you?" asked a confused Shino
"Indeed it is" replied Menma
"Wait I know you you're my cousin where have you been?" said Shikamaru
"So, what's your name?" asked Suigetsu interrupting
"I'm Shino Aburame and he's Shikamaru Nara," said Shino
"You sound different like feminine are you a female" stated Menma
"No I'm not I've lost my voice recently " replied Shino
"Oh my bad pal" replied Menma
"There is nothing wrong being a girl" stated Angel with her arms cross her chest
"I understand however I am a boy" said Shino
"You just smell like a female" replied Menma
"Anyway, Welcome to Konoha see you in class in two weeks" said Shino walking away
"We should all hang out sometime" said Shikamaru
"I won't be here long but hey stop by later at the compound" said Menma
"Where is it located at? Asked Shino who stopped walking away
"Where the Senju compound used to be at" said Menma
"Okay well see you later" said Shikamaru as he and Shino walked away
"Bye" said Menma
"Are you sure we can trust them?" asked Angel
" We've placed new seals around the compound we'll be good" said Menma
-2 hours later-
When the Menma and his group made it back the compound they started to fill up all the houses, the kitchens, and the training grounds. Menma place all his clothes, new king size bed, dresser, and other things in his room he then took a shower. When he got out of that shower he dyed off and put on a White muscle shirt, a stone necklace he made on his travels, underwear, some black and green shorts, and some ninja slides. When he looked in the mirror he saw his eyes and then thought to ask Kurama what's going on with his body.
"Hey Kurama or Son Goku" thought Menma
"What the fuck do you want you damn well know I'm sleeping" replied Kurama
"Well wake your ass up what the hell is going on with my eyes they're usually Hazel with red pupils their turning Purple" thought
"Your DNA has been changing slowly since I was sealed in you" replied Son Goku
"What do you mean?" asked Menma
"You probably have a dojutsu" said Son Goku
"Which one?" asked Menma
"Hell I don't know" said Son Goku
"Well that sucks" said Menma
" Well you two shut the hell up so what you have Gold eyes" said Kurama
"Well they have blue tomoes in them" thought Menma
"Well that weird" said Kurama who looked at Menma eyes
"How does a person DNA change?" asked Menma
"I wasn't sealed inside of you by a human I was sealed by Yami" said Son Goku
"Who's Yami?" asked Menma
"The sister of Kami she's way nicer so she probably gave you a gift however idk what it is just try pulling on your charka using the ram sign" said Kurama
After placing his hand in the ram sign his whole body started to glow, his mindscape changed into a field, and he felt stronger. Before he could talk to Kurama someone knocked on his door. Going to the door and opening it all both of his roommates were looking at him crazy.
"Is everything okay we felt a strong spike of charka" Said Angel
"Oh well I'm just testing my charka" replied Menma
"Your eyes look a little different let's had to a training ground to see what you can do" said Suigetsu
-3 minutes later at one of the training grounds-
When everyone was outside Suigetsu told him to do what he was doing before in his room Menma proceeded to place his hands in a ram sign. What happened next showed that Menma had damn near limitless charka. The ground around him started growing small trees around the area turn the ground in a small garden. Poisonous gas to fill the air however it was burned out by a fire that felt so hot that Suigetsu had to go back in the house and jump into the tub, Menma had clothes burned off and angel had quickly put up a mud walled with turn into sand. After cooling his body Suigetsu told them that Menma had something a poison release and that fire was something unreal. After ten more minutes Iron sand start flowing with the air and explosion were going off randomly making it harder to stay within the training ground after that Menma stopped and went to talk to his friends.
"Looks like you unlock the Sharingan I didn't know you had Uchiha blood within you" said Angel
"This isn't a Sharingan nor is it the Ringan it's something else however I don't know how to turn it off " said Menma shocked until the name Yami popped up in his head
"Try to stop sending charka to your eyes" said Suigetsu
"That felt weird" said Menma as he fell down
Menma whose eyes usually Hazel were gold with blue tomoes in them he had one tomoe in each eye however as the chakra left his eyes they returned to normal
"It seems that your body produces Senjutsu as known as natural charka" said Kurama
"What do you mean?" asked Menma
"The charka that you were using was Senjutsu charka" replied Son Goku
"Next time be more careful I don't know how or why but you were using it at one point honestly it felt like Log's Charka" added Kurama
"You need to do charka control exercises " said Suigetsu however before they could move there was a knock on the compound gate
"I'll tell them we can't have company right now we need to figure this out right now" said Angel
"No we can train with them" said Menma
"Are you sure?" asked Angel
"Yes please bring them here" said Menma
-5 minutes later-
One of Menma clones was sent to open the gate and walk the two boys to the training ground both young ninjas followed the clone they were accompanied by two of their own ninjas from their clans.
-2 minutes later-
"We will be doing charka control exercises so you will all have an easier time using your charka" said Menma
"Why chakra control?" asked Shino
"Because you three are going to need them out there" said Suigetsu
-Four Hours later-
Everyone in the area was tired from working out Shino and Shikamaru guards took them back to their house so that they could rest. This continued for the next two weeks during the time Menma got to know Shino, Shikamaru, Choji and the others who would come around and train. After his two-week vocation with the village Menma was required by the Mizukage to return to the village before he would have to deal with repercussions.

Okay so this was original called "Road to Greatness" I had to rewrite this story because it was TOO close to my other story like WAY TOO close so hopefully you enjoy the rewrite
To anyone who is confused Son Goku and Kurama was sealed within Menma using a special seal
Sakumo Hatake is alive in the story because of the Will of Fire he did the right thing so he shouldn't have been treated like shit when the whole village is built on teamwork just think about it
Menma whole name is Menma Uzumaki-Namikaze however because of the bounty of that's placed on any and all Uzumaki head
I believe Shikaku and Minato was close in cannon so why not make them cousins
Menma will have girlfriends that he dates throughout the story but will have 2 or three wives
Menma is not related to Karin, Han, Rōshi, or Tayuya
I give him a nin wolf because why not plus it's the closest thing to a dog
The 3rd Hokage is the worse Kage ever IMO don't at me
Who should be on teams? I'll also be covering the rookie 12 (that being Neji, Rock Lee, Ten-Ten, Sasuke, Kiba, Shino, Choji, Shikamaru, Hinata, Ino, Sakura, and Satsuki)
