To Love - The Unfinished Story
The basic synopsis of To Love is a suspenseful love story in which the fate of several young people with different backgrounds and charms are entangled in two unpredictable twists and turns.
Yan Jin, a businessman and former anti-narcotics policeman, decides to investigate a drug-trafficking case that caused the death of his close friend Sun Jia Yo. He infiltrates into the organization as an undercover cop but gets sidetracked when he gets to know and fall in love with Ji Xiao Ou.
Ji Xiao Ou is a beautiful kind hearted person that only sees good in everyone she meets. As the co owner of the Flowing Time Cafe…..her life and love takes an unexpected turn when she meets Yan Jin the love of her life and Zhan Yu whose life has been cursed by a dark cloud the looms over him.

When Zhan Yu is murdered… Yan Jin becomes the primary suspect and placing ultimate burden on Ji Xiao Ou and Yan Jin's love for each other.
The beginning 10 episodes of the 40 episode series is told in flashbacks as the two leads are being interrogated by Zhao Ting Hui, who is Ji Xiao Ou's former boyfriend whose motives are conflicted from being a good cop to a man trying to reclaim his lost love. The unraveling of the Zhan Yu murder is done as the two leads each give their individual perspective as to how the events unfolded.
The subplots and character distinction between the two leads is a story in itself.
Yan Jin the owner of "1/3 " high end exclusive fish restaurant is deemed the most eligible bachelor from his looks and wealth. Being the heir to his family's Yang Holding Group presents himself as carefree , flippant and ever joking style to live. His overconfidence in his abilities are ever-present especially when it comes to women, until he meets Ji Xiao Ou.

Six months pass and Xiao Ou still in a coma from her stabbing by Feng Wei Xing shows that life still goes on. It's New Years Eve and Fang Ni Ya informs Yan Jin that he will be in charge of the Flowing Time Cafe as she is about to take Le Le and Huan Huan to see snow.
As has become the ritual the band of brothers Yan Jin, Zhao Ting Hui and Cheng Rui Min come together after the cafe closes. They banter back and forth when Zhao Ting Hui asks that Yan Jin to sing Xiao Ou's favorite song. The Song "I do "with it's lyrics define the love between Yan Jin and Ji Xiao Ou

This ending left many followers disappointed in that the writers couldn't have imagined giving the two leads the opportunity to show their love that the song warranted and the story needs.

Xiao Ou's eyes open completely and her brain functions begin wondering what has happened to her and why is she here. The nurses station seeing the increased activity on the brain scan monitors go into Xiao Ou's room
