Most of their time at the boat house was pretty boring, Eleanor tried to sleep they ate the food which they were pretty thankful for the food though Eddie ate a lot of it. To entertain her Eddie came up with stories of what the players did during the long rests. She didn't really understand why people would think he was a murder he would so kind when she had nightmares of Chrissy dyeing Eddie was their to hold her, when she had nightmares of other things... he was there. He was funny to and always include her. Sure he was 20 years old and loved D&D but that didn't make him a satanist murder. She could never understand people like that people who saw one thing about a person then decide who they are and what they could do. She knew people like that, people who saw Eddie his hair and what he wore then saw her with him and decided she was a freak like some kids in her class she has vivid memeroies of them like when she first joined middle school and a group of kids pushed her against the lockers and started making fun of Eddie and asking if she only lived who 2 boys who had done her hair in plaits and threating to cut her hair off . They were gonna do it to when a girl called Rita stood up for her. That's how her and Rita became best friends, Rita didn't judge her Rita's parents didn't judge her or Eddie. Right now she thought Rita is probaly putting up missing posters for her.

It's not easy living the life that her and Eddie live their father was a mouth breather Eleanor has never met her or Eddie's mother. They are techinally only half siblings according to Eddie, Eleanor's mother was very young and their father took adavntage of her and to avoid prison he agrreded to take her. Though that didn't last long the staying out of prsion and taking care of her he was arrested when she was 5 and Eddie was 13. They went to live with their uncle who is far nicer than their Father from what she can remember.

Eddie left to go look for things to eat in the kitchen and to check the coast was clear, soon he singled to her that she could come in so she waited at the table for the food Eddie talked on the wakey talky. "Hey Dustin it's Eddie the bainshed here, Dustin can you hear me? Dustinnn, Earth to Dustinnn." He sounded a bit annoyed then a voice responded

"Hey it's nancy." Nancy said through the walkie talkie

"Wheeler , hey um were gonna need a food delivery like really soon unless you want us going out into the world" Eddie said

"no don't do that just stay where you guys are, will be there as soon as we can" Nnacy responded

"So yeah yeah listen umm could you pick me up a six pack umm I know its stupid _ to drinking right now but uhh cold beer would be really calming-" Eddie tried to convince Nancey while keeping his voice down because he thought she couldn't hear him"hey I am gonna have to call you back"Nancey started

"No don't you dare, WHEELER,WHEELER." Eddie shouted."DANG IT, she hung up on me"

"Haveing trouble getting your beer?" I said with a smile

"I've been caught" he put his hands up in defeat and got the food that was cooking of the stove " We better take this back to the boat house"

"Yeah, race you"I said taking the plate and running outside. He quickly caught up to me but in true Eddie fashion let me beat him in the end.

Eleanor's POV:

Me and Eddie were playing a game wer ethey threw stones in a can when a car speed up outside. Me and Eddie quickly peaked over the window sill and looked outside it was a group of people in whispered "_,_" then ran over to the overside of the boathouse I swiftly followed he went to look through another window"Do you know these people?" I asked,

"Yeah they play the balls in laundrey basket game." Eddie responded before takin and the walkie Talkie and saying "Hey dustin it's Eddie do you remember me right, Hey uhhh I really think we might have an issue here okay? Wheeler?ANYBODY" He put the walkie Talkie over and dragged me away form the window.

"Dustin, you there?Nevermind,Get in the boat Ellie." Eddie said clearly stressed out so I quickly jumped in the boat. Eddie was paddling us along the lake when. "HEY FREAK," me and Eddie turned around to see the people from before "WHERE DO YOU THINK YOUR GOING" they shouted. "_" Eddie said under his breath.

"Eddie what's going on?"I asked scared , he started pulling on the motor.

"Come on you piece of _,hep me out here manCOME ON COME ON YOU PEICE OF _ GOD DAMM IT, nope okay" after a battle with the engine he went back to the oars the people were in the water now quickly catching up to us."Ellie, this is an important question do you know how to swim?" He asked while paddling hard.

"Nyes" I responded quitely he nodded back to me

He stood up with the oar "HEY STAY BACK MAN.!"he started shouting suddnely they started yelling stuff at each other and one went under wtaer then fkew up just like Chrissy got so frightened he fell into the water he quickly swam to the surface only to watch the same thing happen to this boy. I quickly divied in the water with Eddie who had amnged to get the boy's body out form under the depth's and sort of gave it to his friend before checking one me and swimming off I didn't think that other boy saw me. When we got to the shore I burst into tears and Eddie held me tearing up a bit to we both couldn't belive that happened again
