4. Eleanor's POv
We snuck past a building yard Eddie told me to wait in the bushes until he signalled. He grabbed something and ran back to the bushes with me we counited to walk through the bushes hoping to find Dustin or Nancy. They must have heard about the murder. Eddie finally got impatient and decided to called them."Dustin can you hear me? Wheeler." I heard them talking and he told them our location that was basically all I got from Eddie he was in a pretty bad mood when I woke up .We heared some people coming. So we quickly hid but then I we heard some say "Honestly Dustin Henderson you are a butt head." I could see Eddie who was hiding above me smile and Jump down "I conquer Dustin Henderson you are a butt-head." Eddie said scaring the day light out of them.
"We tried calling you but my walkie got drenched. So I did the thing I do now I ran and took Ellie with me" Eddie said taking a drink then giving the water to me. "Do you what time the was the attack." Nancy asked.
"I know exactly what time it was my walkie wasn't the only thing that got drenched." Eddie said giving her his and my watch. Then they talked a bit more about what to do.
"Hey Henderson's not cursed now is he." Eddie asked noting Dustin pacing backwards and forward
"No mental maybe." Steve responded
"Bottommost" Dustin shouted Dustin went on a rant about compasses and gates
"What say you Eddie the banished." He asked at the end of his rant
"I say you are asking me to follow you into a bring shire and I say yes." Eddie said something lie that but I wasn't really listening because Dustin was jumping like crazy and cheered when Eddie said yes. Steve started mumbling about not understanding D&D."Come on get you stuff man." Steve said to Eddie after he went walking than ran back to get our stuff.
The walk through the woods was awkward as Dustin was talking to Eddie which left no one for me to talk to. I mean that Nancy girl tried to talk to me but she talked like a run away train. Max talked to Lucas, So I ended up with Steve. The journey was long but we ended up at the lake "Dustin ,Dustin can you slow down" They started to get the boat ready.
"Hey hey you trying to sink us." Eddie said as Dustin and me tried to get on "3 at the max"
"Said who?" Dustin responded
"Me" Nancy said
"Who put you in charge?" Dustin said
"Me." Robyn chirped
"Come on Eddie please?" I asked , he looked at Nancy imitating my pleading hands
"Finnne." Nancy said
"What?" Dustin said
"Come on she is younger than you and short for her age." Nancy responded as I climbed in. Steve started pushing us off then jumped in. I Could hear Dustin shouting as we road off
"Stop here." Nancy said looking at the compass
"What's going on" Dustin Radioed
"The compass just went from wonky to wonky with a capital Aha." Steve stood up and took his shirt off and got ready to dive."Woah Steve what are you doing." Nancy said
"Diving because unless any of you can top Hawkins high swim captain and Life guard I think its best if I go in." Steve said
"Hey I'm not complaining I do not want to go down there." Eddie said nudging me "Hey good luck" Eddie said before lighting a cig-rate and Robyn flicking it off saying "Ew"
"Couldn't agree more" I said looking at Robyn. We waited for about a min before Steve resurfaced " It's pretty Damn big-" Suddenly he was pulled under water and everyone was freaking out
"Your not going in there are you?" Eddie asked she jumped in even after that we all screamed "Nancy!" Robyn started edging to the edge of the boat
"Hey what are you doing she said stay in the boat." Eddie told her
"I know" Robyn replied
"She's in charge."
"I made all that _ up" and with that she jumped on the water I hated to bail on my big brother but I had to help them I jumped into the water I saw Eddie try and reach for me and shouting about how stupid this was but I started swimming down to the gate , following Robyn who was following Nancy, I felt the Jacket which was tied around my waist come un done and float up in the water. We all made it through the gate to find these things attacking Steve we helped defend him and Eddie looked pretty cool and killed some I helped distract them from Steve. We soon beaten them all the way. The 2 girls ran to Steve but Eddie stayed in front of me "JESUS CHRIST WHY DID YOU DO THAT ELEANOR NEVER DO THAT AGAIN DO YOU HEAR ME." He yelled while shaking me and hugging me at the same time. We walked up to where the others were, there was more of these bat flying things "I think we can take them." Eddie said. The lighting flashed to show there were more an more of them. Nancy turned and saw the woods we all started running except Robyn who said "More running." Then joined far behind us very clumsily .They managed to get shelter under skull rock but they were all cold wet and scared and Steve was bleeding loads and he had breathed in a bunch of weird gunk. I stood next to Eddie who was paralytic holding me in place ilk he thought what was up with Steve was contagious. "Wait here " he said before climbing up "so uhh this place in basic Hawkins with monsters and weird _" I was worried about Steve but than I heard him say "Be careful this is all a hive mind."
"What?" Eddie responded
"Like everything is one here you step on the vine you are stepping on Vecna." Steve explained
"Oh _" Eddie said while climbing back down. They started discussing a plan but the Nancy said "I have guns in my bedroom"
"Wait you Nancy Wheeler have guns not just one but more in you bedroom."Eddie said sounding very surprised "Full of surprises isn't she." Robyn said Nancy then listed the 2 guns she had they were just about to leave. When a upside done shake happened it's called an upside down shake because it's not earth . Nancy fell onto Steve surprise Surprise Surprise. I fell onto Robyn who fell onto Eddie. The creatures start shirking again once the quake had finished "We better go get does guns" Eddie said before helping her up and they started their journey to the Wheeler house
