7 . Eleanor's Pov It had been 2 weeks since I met Eleven and 1 week since Eddie was released form hospital. I've learnt a lot since then. 1. Eddie may have been good at selling drugs but he is not good at handing them. Me and Dustin have to shout 'NO MORE PAINKILLERS' or 'EDDIE THE WORLD ISN'T REALLY MELTING' at least 5 times a day luckily Miss Henderson is really nice. 2. Me and Eddie either have super warped versions of privacy who am I kidding it's me and Eddie according to Erica (who is one of my 3 best friends now they are Rita,Tin and Erica) she doesn't tell her brother anything and if the other enters their room without asking there is a yelling match. 3.I may kinda have superpowers and only Eleven and Dustin know that is the only thing I haven't told Eddie which I feel really guilty about. So I guess you want to hear about most of those things plus the earth quake but mainly the super powers. So what we've learnt so far is that the youngest number in the lab Eleven grew up in was 018 and they were about 5 when she was 8 so that matches with 3 year age difference and once Eleven heard someone ask the doctor "Why isn't there more of us?" The doctor said "One of your sisters 019 died while her mother was creating her.". So uhh I guess I am 019. I would ask Eddie more about things and tell him stuff but its hard when he is on his painkillers.
Next the 'earthquake', so the 'earthquake' was really all 4 gates opening but Eleven managed to kind of bring Max back to life so the gates closed up again. It's weird I know I wouldn't believe any of this if I were you. Anyway back to the story. It was good staying with Dustin though she Missed her uncle but if he needed more money he had to work more so it's better to stay here than one of his friend that her and Eddie barely know. "Why are you in such a rush Ellie?" Eddie asked as I rushed around getting ready for the meet up. "Because we have only a few mins before it's time for the meet up and I don't want to keep Mrs Henderson waiting , PLUS she doesn't drive like a manic stoned or not." I said shooting him a look as I looked down in the mirror. I couldn't wear my Hellfire T-shirt any more since some people still thought it was a cult so I was stuck in hand-me down from Eddie which most of my stuff is. Right now what I was wearing was an over sized black t-shirt with white rings on the end of the sleeves cause let's face it I am short so everything is oversized, I was wearing one of mine own things which was second hand a black skirt and then last but not least I m wearing my trusty trainers which were my birthday gifts last year. My hair was done up in plaits.
It was such a hustle getting Eddie out of the house to the meet up with everyone once the painkillers wore off I really owed Eddie and apology it must have been so much work to get me to school when I was younger. The painkillers had worn off by the time they arrived at the wheeler house so Eddie was more in the loop. "So I don't get it, Steve likes Nancy but Jonathan also likes Nancy." He asked
"Yeah but Nancy isn't sure who she likes so don't say a word about Steve to Jonathan." I said as we walked through the house. "Is that why you didn't let me bring or have any more painkillers?" He said acting like he's totally sane on them. "He says that acting like he's totally sane on them." I giggled he was going to respond but we had reached the basement. Everyone just talked for a bit in separate groups mingling . Karen came down holding a long table with Ted for everybody to use.
Everybody sat around the table and started sharing old stories "One time Will got a Lego man named Larry stuck up his nose." Jonathan told us we all burst out laughing even Will. "For April fools day once I told Ellie that tiny fish lived in the tap water and she freaked out for the whole day then got so so mad at me when I told her it was a prank." Eddie said I was annoyed that he told me that so being the mature person I am I stuck my tongue out at him, him of course being the other super mature adult he stuck his tongue out at me. "Really mature guys." Nancy said and everyone laughed, I wouldn't trade this peacefulness for the world.
