"Wait, you're moving out, do your folks know or approve of this." Casey asked helping Linda and Shocket move boxes out of their apartment on Avengers Campus using her super-strength power.
"Yep, as dad was proud of me for joining the New Warriors along with mom but uncle Howard is still getting used to the idea along with Darci besidesthey have Mork the way mom and dad have you, Emmy and RJ, thanks for helping us pack." Shocket replied to her squeezing her paws into fists, as she was excited plus she could use her Black Widow skills if anybody messed with her and Linda, she also had her beloved bazooka, Helen in her cosy which was in her arms just as Rocket and Gamora were there alomg with Howard as he and Rocket were taking Linda and Shocket to the penthouse apartment where Fire-Star and Gravity lived and who Linda and Shocket would be sharing the apartment with which made them excited but nervous hiding it from them as this was a big deal for them, but Carol was relieved, meaning Shocket wouldn't be doing things like pulling the fire-alarm among other things knowing the faculty felt the same hearing alarms hoping it wasn't Shocket realising it was Love, Thor's adopted daughter making Rocket smirk, as Love was being the new Shocket in his opinion.
Rocket being the vice-dean but also a father so was feeling emotional trying to conceal it like Thor when it had been Love's first day of school but he and Howard had packed tissues just in case making Gamora and Darci hug their husbands seeing Rocket adjusting his goggles on his furry head fuelling up the car with gas he'd invented which impressed Shocket but also Emily who being an enviomentalist nad taught her dad how he could help by making clean fuel using olive-oil, seeing Emily grin at her dad listening to her.
"We gotta go, hug your moms goodbye okay, as this is a big deal for them you know." Rocket told them seeing both females doing so relieving Darci and Gamora because what Rocket had told Linda and Shocket was true, getting into the car leaving the grounds of Avengers Campus unawsre Billy and Tommy Maximoff their friends along with Galacta had given gifts or hidden them in their backpacks which they didn't know about talking excitedly about being on a team like their parents, which made Howard and Rocket chuckle knowing they would have fun with their new pals, kicking tail staying up plus he wanted to talk to Shocket about her body only he did not want to embarrsse her so would wait until she asked him making a pit-stop at a truck-stop getting supplies along with sodas knowing Shocket had packed her mini-fridge making him and Howard smirk knowing their girls would make quite an impression when they moved in seeing Shocket wearing her shades, keeping the sun glare out of her eyes one of the reasons typical raccoons slept during the day compared to ones like them.
"Alright we're here, time to use my mech suit." Shocket said, about to activate it from her gauntlet until Rocket stopped her saying it might make too much of an impression but could use it another time which Shocket guessed that he had a point so she and Linda were helping their dads move their stuff into their new home feeling feels despite trying to be brave in fromt of their dads, as Rocket and Howard put their numbers into Linda and Shocket's phones so they can talk to them when they got lonely or missed them feeling them hug them tightly sniffling.
"www it's okay guys, as this is a big chance and big changes are scary so you might find things to help you cope." Rocket told them as being a walking armoured and goggle-wearing squishball, he gave good hugs making Shocket nod guessing he was right giving the salute she and him had came up with which Gamora found cute everytime they did it just as Gravity and Fire-Star entered the apartment grinning, seeing Howard and Rocket as Spidey had told them about Rocket plus heard giggling from Linda and Shocket's part of the apartment as Rocket grinned seeing Shocket using her mech-suit to put her and Linda's things away, plus Lijda was on her shoulder making Rocket smirk at both Fire-Star and Gravity's reactions to this, saying this happened with Shocket seeing Howard grin.
"Oh h-hey guys, we're just unpacking our stuff." Shocket said shyly.
"Well we're doing it the fun way, as Shocket says you know." Linda said.
"You don't have to be shy around us, Spidey told us about your dad." Gravity said.
"Really, he did as that's cool." Shocket replied turning around slowly as she didn't want to wreck the apartment or hurt Linda plus Rocket noticed Helen on the bed, knowing it was Shocket's beloved bazooka just in her cosy making Fire-Star curious but Linda stopped him as Shocket might get upset.
"Don't touch it, it has special meaning to her." Linda told them seeing Shocket nod shyly making both Firestar and Gravity get it, letting them take their time settling into their new home plus couldn't wait to show them the secret lair underneath which they'd show them later.
"I think you guys are good to go, but we'll talk later kiddo." Rocket told Shocket seeing her nodding and would WhatsApp him and Gamora later once she and Linda got settled sniffling ashe and Howard left the apartment, getting back into the car driving off being quiet as this was a big deal for them, as they along with Linda and Shocket were very close arriving back at the grounds of Avengers Campus by nightfall parking outside Rocket'shouse which was on campus grounds, which relieved Gamora guessing he and Howard had been emotional, seeing him nodding while popping open a Bud Light as he and Howard needed them seeing Emily there, asking what they were having for dinner.
"Let's just order in, as it's been a long day." Rocket said softly wiping tears away before going upstairs to take a bath because it would help him relax making Gamora understand knowing he would need some cuddles later like when she had bad dreams which Emily got after her mom told her, why her dad was sad.
"Ohhhh, but will daddy be okay." she said seeing Gamora nodding asshe'd help Rocket feel better later, ordering in from one of their favourite places while she was doing her own thing alomg with Casey
"Are you alright, after helping Shocket move in, and meet her room-mates my squishy genius." Gamora asked Rocket that later evening while they were in bed after putting both Emily and RJ to bed seeing he was exhausted, after a long day which was emotional so Gamora was taking it easy on him, wrapping her arms arouhd him in a hug hearing him sniffle into her chest stroking under his furry ear letting him cry having a feeling he'd held it in all day.
"I think so, but hope our lil troublemaker's okay away from us." Rocket mumured restinghis furry head on Gamora feeling her heartbeat soothing him as Gamora was doing ASMR whispering relaxing and empowering things into his furry ear which was helping him relaxing, his eyes closing in sleep as Gamora kissed his furry cheek knowing Shocket would be alright at her new digs and maybe tell them about it once she and Linda got settled in.
Gamora heard RJ whimpering because he was in a toddler bed which he was still getting usedto and normally he wanted Rocket, to comfort him but she decided to go handle it because Rocket was exhausted after an emotional day hoping RJ would take it easy on her leaving their room, going ijto RJ's nursery seeing him awake, sighing as being little, he didn't get that his dad was tired soothing him back into sleep, putting the nightlight on, guessing that was what had happened.
It was now late-night going into early morning yet both Linda and Shocket were still lying awake in their bed which was bigger than their bed back home in Howard's apartment, guessing it would take them a bit to get used to their new home like Fire-Star had told them eariler while eating shwarma which had helped Shocket a little with her shyness letting her take her time with Firestar and Gravity compared to Linda who was relaxing but worrying for Shocket getting an idea, knowing she might need some warm-milk to help her settle down a little going to the kitchen hoping their new friends weren't awake or being kept up waddling ijto the kitchen making Shocket some warm-milk hoping her furty soulmate would be okay, as her excitement had dissipated going back ijto her and Shocket's part of the apartment entering their room grinning as she loved giving Shocket snuggles when she was feeling sad or anxious guessing what Rocket had told them about big changes was true.
She saw Shocket cuddling Helen but looked like she'd been crying softly giving her the milk seeing her drinkijg but feeling calmer, seeing Linda beside her guessing Rocket wasright about this being a big change for them, more so Shocket so was strokijg her fluffy purple mohawk, remembering Firestar and Gravity being impressed by it earlier asking her how she was feeling right now, if she wanted to talk about it.
"I feel a bit better now, thanks Ducky." she told her.
"You're welcome, we should let our folksknow we're okay." Linda said.
"In the morning, I guess Ducky." she replied to her falling asleep.
