"So, how's things going in Washington DC, did you steal me the Declaration of Indepence, who's hour roommate, and the chaperones not being too strict." Shocket said to Linda on video-chat.

"No Shockie, I'm not doing that, I'm rooming with Galacta and she brought lots of candy which makes me think of you and kind of wish you were here, it would be like the crazy slumber parties we used to have in our dorm room with Galacta and you eating buttloads of candy and drinkijg soda." Linda replied to her smirking at her furry soulmate proud of her for doing well so far and had gotten her a Squishmallow which reminded Shocket of her dad, when she got back and had it in her bag for safety but what she'd just told Shocket was the truth, knowing the chaperones would flip, if Shocket somehow showedup, grinning imagining their reactions.

It was a few weeks later and Linda was on her field-trip to Washington DC which she'd talked to Shocket about, she was happy to let her soulmate go promising Linda she'd be okay until she returned plus they could video-chat, until Shocket fell asleep which had been Rocket's idea, to help Shocket cope when Linda did stuff like this and after a while, Shocket was out like a light hanging up just as the chaperone came to check on her and Galacta, assuring her they were fine, going to sleep.

However around two in the morning, Shocket was awake but doing training in the New Warriors lair to distract herself from Linda being at Washington DC and would sleep later during ghe daylike normal raccoons did impressing Firestar and Gravity because they'd been warned by Linda this would happen, so would make her some warm milk later to help her fall asleep and would tell Linda later, so she could help too as they knew how much she cared about her so before she'd left and letting Shocket escort her to the bus, had asked Firestar and Gravity to keep an eye on Shocket so they felt they were letting her down.

"We should help our leader sleep, as Linda told us, that she doesn't sleep well without her." Gravity said seeing Firestar agreeing, seeing it was morning so making breakfast for them and Shocket seeing her come into the kitchen sitting down at the table drinking warm milk while eating pancakes thanking them.

"You're welcome, and mayge sleeping will help you feel better." Gravity said to her.

"You do have a point, as she worries about me, when she goes away." Shocket said to them going to her and Lijda's room getting on cuddling Helen who was in her cosy falling asleep just as Linda was checking on her sleeping through the alert, so Firestar and Gravity would talk to the female-duckling about this but hoped Shocket was okay texting Linda explaining to her makijg Linda frown on screen as she'd had a feeling Shocket had not slept.

I had a feeling this would happen, if I went on this trip but at least she's asleep now which is good plus tell her I'm okay when she wakes up and hope she didn't have nightmares about the past or mentioned Tivon in her sleep-talk, take me to our room.

Firestar and Gravity understood as they were talking hoping Shocket wasn't listening in case she woke up because she needed her rest and, but doing what Linda asked opening her and Shocket's bedroom door gently seeing wrappers on the floor and heard gentle snoring which was relieving Linda so far, herfeathered cheeks going pink seeing her Shocket curled up asleep with her arms wrapped around Helen in her cosy snuggling her.

"Do you want the tablet near her." Gravity asked softly seeing Linda shake her head, just seeing Shocket okay was calming hanging up plus noticed their leader was a deep sleeper leaving her room in case she woke up on the wrong side of the tree which could happen sometimes
