Hololand
As calliope still running, she starts talking with kiara. "Do your people have any kind of gun?"
Calli groan as kiara shake her head again. "Come on! I know that living in simple life is popular lately. But this is a damn hermit level!"
"Well, I have fire-" before kiara could end her sentence, calliope push her on the ground as energy beam being shot pass their head.
Heat ray burning everything in its way, including tree, grass and wild animal.
"That is ruthless! " kiara yell as small warship flying pass them.
"What kind of warrior that kills an innocent?"
Calli shrug hearing that "Nowadays? Every kind, I guess."
The ship come back and start shooting again, clearly aiming at them.
"How can they saw us in this dense forest?" kiara yell as they start running again.
"Probably using thermal vision. Well, it is something that can tract your body temperature." Calli answer while hiding behind the big tree.
swarm of small warships start flying at their way again, while the giant destroyer ship is floating still. It seems to wait for its minion to take care of the problem.
The first ship start shooting plasma chain gun at its target again, but before it could have a proper aim, Shirogane noel jumping in its direction and destroy aircraft with her
mace, leaving a burning debris to fall on the dense forest.
"What the f**k!" calli exclaim as she saw the women who can jump hundreds of meters heigh and destroy space travel ship with one swing.
Kiara shrug. "Well, noel always eager to be the first one in the battlefield."
"No! I mean, is that your people normal standard? "
"She is above average in term of battle. I mean, gravity people and all." kiara explain patiently as noel jumping from one damaged aircraft to another, destroying it with one
blow.
Calli shakily look at her "Are you guys perhaps a star people or something?"
Kiara smile as she shook her head "Most of our people are elves, hunter and gravity people." She ignores calli doubtful eyes as she heard name of long-lost civilization in a
history book.
"I am… " Kiara suddenly stop. It never occurs her before what race she exactly belong to, kiara has no elf or hunter signature ear.
And she is not fit with gravity people description either. Maybe she is a magician or some unimportant tribe infant that flare adopt with her kind heart during the war time, she
never been so sure.
Flare and noel said they dig her from the ground, but it must be a joke.
Even kiara know that everyone must have parent in order to being born.
While kiara lost in her own thought, calli is looking at knight in shiny armor who rode the horse in the open field, charging at the flying ship.
It seems to be a suicide mission for calliope, as small fighting aircraft start blasting its chain gun and rocket at the charging horse, blowing them away.
Before the smoke is clear, those knights jumping in the air with their lance, somehow reach the flying ship and pierce their weapon through the ship's window.
Killing the pilots as they fall down.
This is ridiculous, calli never saw any fight like this before except in some children tale.
However, the fighting aircraft are not completely outmatch, their chain gun can still kill the knight if they get hit multiple time while rocket and bomber shell still blow
hololand's warrior into piece as they reach the target.
Worse, the reinforcement from the destroyer ship is coming in their way. Hundreds of flying aircraft start shooting in their direction.
"We have to help them!" kiara shout before running toward battlefield direction, calliope shake her head before following her.
This is a very bad idea, but calli couldn't let a woman who just save her life fighting with an enemy without help.
Calliope running at the fallen aircraft, looking for something useful and pick one plasma rifle from the pilot body, it has a little damaged, but still usable when calli check its
system.
She turns her head toward kiara "What now? Will you fight them with bare hand or the sword like those knight?"
Kiara create a great fire ball and shoot at one of flying ship, blowing it into pieces.
"Oh well." Calliope shakes her head before aiming her plasma rifle.
It is a bit hard to use, but with a good aim you can blow away the aircraft fuel tank and destroy the vehicle with one plasma bullet.
Calliope shooting her rifle multiple time before finally destroy one fighter "Gotcha!" she shouts but at the same time as noel throwing the damaged aircraft at another, blowing
both into a burning piece.
Kiara grab sword and shield from the ground and jump in the air like other warriors, cutting part of aircraft wing before return to the surface again.
"Shoot!" There is a shouting from the nearby hill as shiranui flare and her elves armies shooting their bow, toward a swarm of fighter aircrafts.
One arrow from each warrior separates into hundred by elves magic and millions of arrows pour at the small ships, destroying it. While surviving knight scatter away to avoid
a friendly fired.
Hunter clans join the fight and shootinh their weapon too but they don't have the same technologies as elves and didn't do as much damage, after all hunter tribe are well
known for their stealth and close range combat, not an archer skill.
Seeing destruction of its minion destroyer ship couldn't stand still anymore. The ship start shooting its plasma cannons at the armies of hololand, destroying their force.
Flare shout as she jumps in the dark forest with her armies.
"Change formation! Use explosive arrowhead!"
Her armies move in perfect rhythm, pick the explosive arrow from their quiver, aim and shoot.
Their arrow reaches the target but it is unable to blast through the ship barrier.
"It is no use! Spaceship nowadays use electromagnetic field from their nuclear reactor core. Normal weapon couldn't blast through it." Calli explain toward kiara who still
shooting destroyer ship with her fire ball.
"How can we destroy it?" kiara ask panicky but calliope shook her head. "Well, when the ship fire it cannons, it will open a small hole for the bullet to come out. But unless
you can run through the plasma ray…"
"Noel! Shield! When they shoot their cannon! " before call could end her sentences, kiara shout at noel who still running under destroyer ship.
As the ship shoot its cannon, noel jump in the air and block the beam with her shield, blue triangle "cover" crystal that stuck in the middle of her shield sucking the energy
greedily as she flying toward the ship.
Noel crashing in the ship through the cannon hole, destroying it from the inside.
"Barrier is gone now. Shoot!" Flare shout and shooting her explosive arrow that blowing it surface as noel running through the wall, destroying everything in her way.
Destroyer ship shaking heavily as it is starts creating a wormhole, trying to run away.
"Where do you think you are going?" Noel roar as the crystal on her shield start glowing, she turns the shield at the center of the ship before an energy, same amount as the
plasma cannon that noel's shield just absorb for a while blasting from her shield.
Blowing half of destroyer ship, making it falling on the ground at last, unable to run any further.
Hololand armies shouting and yelling for their victory as noel jumping out of the ship before it crashes the ground.
"Well, that's it." calliope said at last.
This armies that seems to come out from fairytale and yet, they manage to beat one of the newest armies in the universe, list of planet calliope hope she will never has to
fight against has just increasing today.
"Let's get out of here." Kiara said. "I will bring you to my mother."

When they walk pass pile of death bodies, kiara stop and looking at it again.
"That's kinu."kiara point at one leopard women who lying on the ground, dead.
As she reaches her friend's body, tear start to flow from kiara eyes.
"When we were a child, we always bluff and talk big to each other like how we will fight bravely in wars or how many enemies we will kill.
We were just a child who know nothing about the war then. How naïve." Kiara wipes her tear angrily as she speak.
"…I am sorry." Calliope said understandably, thinking back of her teammate before the war, nine of them are stick together until they sick of each other. Now, there are only
four of them left.
"Why do people fight in wars?"kiara ask calliope. "When they die, everything is over. Leaving only griefs for their friend and family." her people never die before as long as
kiara remember
It makes she wonder why those mortal outside hololand planet has to throw away their life, if one day they are going to die anyways?
"Well, most of the time. No, every time. People fighting because they think they are right and other are in the wrong."calli said, reloading her rifle instead of looking at kiara
tearful eyes.
Kiara heart sink when she heard that, thinking of her mother story book again.
Is it possible that someone as evil as Uruxia thinking she was the right one? Then, what her mother thinks when she declare war with her.
What is the right and wrong thing that make both of them decide to kill hundred millions people and who will be the one who judge them?
Before kiara could think any further, a loud moaning voice come from one of burning aircraft near them.
Both look and saw one of bleeding pilot crawling from the ship blood pouring nonstop from his wound.
Calliope raises her rifle but kiara push it down.
"He is bleeding too much kiara. Nothing could save him now."
Kiara pick sword from the ground.
"Then I will kill him myself." Kiara walks toward crawling soldier, surprise that she feel nothing when pierce the blade through his heart.
As the dying soldier stop moving kiara pull her sword from his body and look at its bloody blade.
So, this is what feel like when you killing someone, take away their life with just one movement. When you can do it one time, next time will surely easier.
"Let's go." After said that to calli, kiara saw one strange butterfly flying at the corner of her eye.
It gets her attention because, even if she has live on hololand for many years, kiara never see such a beautiful and shining green butterfly before.
But kiara has other thing to focus so, she ignores it and leading calliope to the hololand armies' direction.

Hunter clan start circling around her and drawing their blade out as they saw calliope but kiara ignore them as she walks toward flare's camp.
"What is this?" Flare asks as her army raise their bow, aiming at calliope who drop her gun on the ground immediately.
"Wait! Mother. Calli help me fighting those invaders, she is on our side." Kiara yell at flare.
"Can we trust someone who betray her own people? She dresses like one of them." Noel said as her sword touching calliope neck, no one know how she can appear behind
them.
"Wait wait! I am not one of them. I am spy, just pretending to be one of them and complete my mission." calliope quickly said.
"Spy? A thief and betrayal then. What a trustworthy person.
Why should we trust you?" Noel snort.
Calliope looks at everyone eyes and realized that she need to explain something if she still want to keep her head.
"Judging by kiara story, your guys haven't got outside this planet for a while and know what happen outside right?" she said, trying to calm herself down.
"And?" flare still look at her with sharp eyes.
"There is a war among the star, bigger than everything I ever seen in my life." Calliope said, wonder while noel suddenly chuckle upon hearing that.
"People from different planet go to war all the time, what made this time different than the other?" flare ask.
"This one is different, most of time during the war. People will aim for victory with less casualties as much as possible. But this time our enemy goal seems to be death for
both sides. They didn't care how many of their people die in order to kill us as much as possible."
"If this keep going our galaxy will turn into nothing but wasteland in a few decades." Noel and flare look at each other eyes, they seem to be recognized something from
calliope word.
But before they could say anything kiara suddenly raise her voice.
"It must be Uruxia! Mother, you once said that you aren't sure if Uruxia is dead or not, she must control or tricking these poor mortal to fighting each other for her scheme.
There is no other reason why they are killing each other so pointlessly like this."
Kiara mood suddenly bright when she thinks it all clearly, everything is Uruxia false. If kiara or anyone could kill her. Then all life will never suffer again.
Maybe after the war is over, flare can share her secret technololgies that made people of hololand never died by old age to the outside planet too, so everyone can live in
peace and harmony.
Her mother was right all along, without death lurking in the shadow, people can live in peaceful and harmony life like hololand's folk.
That mean her friend kinu will not die in vain. If kiara could end this war, stop death goddess from threaten them forever.
Flare shook her head irrationally. "We can't be sure my daughter, those mortal fighting each other all the time." She then looks at calliope again.
"Prepare the trial room! We will ask her again. And this time she will said anything she know." Two soldiers drag calliope away.
As they pass kiara who standing with a moody face since her idea getting reject by her own mother. Calliope whisper to kiara ear.
"That's not torture room, right? " kiara blink when hearing that.
"What does torture mean?"
"F**k me."calli groan as they drag her toward the nearest building.
