"Why's there a jar on the kitchen-counter guys." Shocket asked making Howard and Rocket exchange a grin as it was known that her dad sometimes had a trash-mouth however they had discovered Shocket had a bigger trash-mouth than him which Linda knew and sometimes found hilarious but some of the tenants that had kids had complained which pleased Shocket looking forward to summer because she'd ijtern on the Milano as a Guardian which made Rocket happy only he knew Linda was applying for Harvard which she was struggling to tell Shocket seeing Rocket eating cookies being chunky and loved that, despite what Dean Carol thought or said as he was perfect the way he was even her mom said so making Rocket grin, at her words.
"It's to help with your trash-mouth as I love it, but we have to keep it under check plus you excited to see Ducky graduate." Rocket told her seeing a scowl on Shocket's furry face as she loved being like him, knowing it was because he loved her and wanted her to be the best her she could be, so would try for him seeing Linda hug her which made Firestar and Gravity smile everytime those two showed public displays of affection.
"Let's go to the lair, I need to tell you something." she told Shocket making her curious and hoped it wasn't a bad surprise making Howard take deep-breaths hoping Shocket would take Linda's news well guessing there'd be momey in the swear jar tonight hearing Rocket chuckle going into Linda and Shocket's room because he and Gamora had made Shocket a care package hearing loudness and Shocket mildly cussing in excitement than anger guessing what Linda had revealed only he was worried because Shocket might not deal with Linda being so far away from her but they could talk aboutit, if Linda got accepted squeezing Howard's hand gently, this was uncharted galaxies for them and their girls saying Shocket had to feed thevswear jar a momey snack even though she'd mildly cussed until the High Evloutionary showed up making Rocket snarl, as his creator grabbed Shocket disappearing inti thin air making Rocket frantic with anxiety.
"Who was that, what did he want with our leader, we have to get her back." Gravity told him which Rocket agreed with, seeing Linda getting onto the Milano along with Howard, Firestar and Gravity because Shocket was their friend leaving the apartment after the Milano blasted off.
"Uncle, what does that weirdo want with Shockie, she already has cybernetics like you and me." Linda asked Rocket ashe was freaking out hoping Shocket was okay or the High Evloutionary would pay, explaining to Firestar and Gravity about the High Evolutionary, making them get it hoping that Shocket was okay.
In the High Evolutionary's lair, Shocket was curious but scared on the inside as this was the nutjob who put the cybernetics in her dad seeing the High Evolutionary pouring what looked like lemonade, wondering if that was why he'd taken her drinking up until the glass was empty relieving the High Evlotionary that she wasn't resisting.
"You're more co-operative than your father, you know." he told her.
"You're welcome, I guess but I already have cybernetics." she replied.
"I know but you'll evolve very soon." he told her just as Rocket burst in along with Howard wielding a bazooka which reminded her of Helen seeing her dad hug her asking her if she was alright seeing her nodding, saying she'd just drank funny lemonade seeing him growl as they left guessing the High Evlutionary had given his girl super-soldier serum which hadn't activated yet getting onto the Milano making Shocket surprised, Firestar and Gravity were here.
"We're your friends Shockie, of course we had to, we were worried about you, are you okay." Gravity said to her hearing her say she felt sleepy which Linda understood getting her to sit beside her buckling themselves in as they blasted off feeling Shocket rest her furry head on her chest whispering good things into her ear seeing a grin on her furry face in sleep hearing Linda's voice in her ear.
"We'll get her checked out at Avengers Campus before we get you guys home.." Rocket told them in reply as they landed in the Avengers Campus hangar-bay making Shocket confused as she wasn't a student making her dad chuckle.
"We need to get you checked out, as the lemonade was super-soldierserum but let's go." he told her as they left with Linda and their friends heading to the infirmary explaining to Dr Banner noticing she was a little taller than her dad makingher grin feeling weird passing out ijto sleep.
"She's going to need time to get adjustedto this, plus Ducky going to college as she got ghe acceptance e-mail on her phone, so proud of you Howie and so will Shockie when she comes to." Rocket said softly to Howard by Shocket's bedside seeing Howard nod while Linda had gotten them coffee so they could talk about the current situation watching Shocket sleep as her body was slowly changing thanks to the serum.
"We can help her out, but guess that creep wanted another you just like Tivon, I guess we'll have chats with her regarding Ducky's news, that she'll come back to her when not at college." Howard added making Rocket nod, only right now his head was full of thoughts yet his heart was full of emotions regarding the talk he and Linda had after getting Shocket into an infirmary bed, how she wanted the best for Shocket too like her dad with her feeling that her furry soulmate would be left behind when she did go to Harvard.
