Meena's dream last night being on Buster Moon's stage singing, not handed this job working on the actual stage.
When she met her foreign gorilla co-worker passing by his rehearsal room, her first thoughts were, what a pretty voice.
His green sweater clashing with his dark hair caught her eyes and grey fingers stopped playing keys.
She quickly looked away before changing the lightbulb above him.
"Ah, thank you. Thought for a moment you were a contestant." He reach out his hand to take the dead bulb. "I have a dustbin to get rid of that."
"Dustbin?" She immediately asked. She hands him the lightbulb.
"Trash can, word from my old hometown." Johnny replies back as he gently dump bulb in blue can in corner by his piano.
She wishes they can talk more, but with show coming she doesn't want to keep him from practicing. "I hope to stand on stage with you guys someday, good luck. I'm Meena."
"You failed the audition? I did too, til Mr Moon needed a replacement." Johnny tried to relate to her situation before introducing himself.
Meena not good with names, she imagine she'll forget it again.
She grin through corners of her trunk before making her exit.

During her lunch break, Meena mumbled under his trunk while sitting on stage alone until others came from backstage ready to go home. "I'll be there when you fall…and there'll be no pain at all."
"Ah, I know that song Meena." Ash commented as she walked over to her while carrying her mini guitar.
Upon hearing rushed footsteps, they both scooted to either side, allowing the Gorilla a quick exit.
"He's so mysterious with his family business, gotta be one strict or unhealthy family member." Ash comments in a sympathetic tone.
"Or someone special." With his looks, course he got someone. She smiled at the thought
