Vengeance shot a bright white beam towards the stage. Everybody managed to dodge it except for Ivan. He fell to his knees in tears. Horrified by the sight, everyone scattered. Luka grabbed Chloe's wrist and ran below deck heading towards his room. The only place he could think of. Once he had her safe and sound, he turned towards the door to see Ladybug standing there, handing him a little red and black ball which opened to reveal his miraculous. Ladybug and Luka nodded at each other and Ladybug left to fight the villain as he put on the miraculous. He looked at Chloe. She already knew he was the snake miraculous holder. Though he didn't know this.
She rolled her eyes, "Do your thing. I'll close my eyes if you want." He nodded and she closed her eyes.
When he gave her permission to open them, he stood there before her, a costumed hero. Seeing him like this again was surreal. This was the boy she had ended up falling for. The boy was currently protecting her and keeping her safe. He turned to her and how he looked blew her away. Who knew that masks made a person better looking.
He looked at her and said, "You should stay here. Hide. Stay safe."
"But I can help." Chloe offered, "I know what the akumatized object is. And Ladybug gave me my miraculous back. I can help."
Luka looked at the door, looked back at Chloe, "It's too dangerous. I can't have you getting hurt. Just stay here and stay safe." He looked her in the eyes, "Please?"
She reluctantly nodded, "Okay."
He turned toward the door and immediately was hit by one of Vengeance's rays. She maniacally laughed and watched as her power took effect.
Viperion collapsed to the ground screaming in pain with tears streaming down his face. He didn't know what was happening to him, but it hurt, and he wasn't sure if he could fight in this condition. He looked behind him at Chloe who looked both worried and terrified. He knew that he couldn't let her get taken. He couldn't let her get hit and feel the same way that he was feeling at this moment. He had to protect her.
He stood up, still trembling from the pain, and looked Vengeance in the face, "You are not getting past me and you are not going to touch Chloe!"
Vengeance lunged at him and from then, they were locked in battle. At some point, Chloe managed to slip past the two and head to the bathroom.
Pollen appeared, "Would you like to transform, my queen?"
Chloe smirked, "You know me too well. We need to save my venom king. Pollen, Buzz on!" in a flash of yellow light, she donned her familiar Queen Bee costume.
She stepped out of the bathroom and accidentally hit Chat Noir with the door.
"Meow-ch, your majesty." He said rubbing his forehead.
"I'm sorry, chat." She said before helping him up. She looked behind him to see Ladybug standing there with a smirk on her face. The three nodded to each other and turned towards Luka's room. "Let's go catch ourselves and Akuma." Chloe said before running towards the battle.
