Chapter 1: Celebrating Tier Harribel's Birthday
Tier was out and about for over an hour at the mall with Nel, Luppi. Wonderweiss, Cirucci, Menoly, & Loly. They came with her to make sure she's okay and probably wants to buy anything for her birthday.
"So Tier, is there anything we wanna buy at this lovely mall?" Luppi asked her.
"And who's going to be paying for it? I don't want to hurt y'all's wallets" Tier said in concern.
"Sweetheart, it's okay really. Today's your special day and we're going to spoil you.~ Now pick a store, any store~!" Loly said happily.
"I've always had a warm spot for candles. And they are having a sale. Shall we check it out?" Tier asked them, as she smiled.
"Of course~! Candles are very trending so far~ Let's see what's up.~ Wonderweiss, follow us please.~" Luppi said as he held out his hand to his friend.
Wonderweiss smiled as he held onto Luppi's hand and they followed Tier into the candle store. They all inhaled as they squealed and went to each area to find which scent they wanted. Tier went to the summer candle scents as they were on sale.
"Soul reaper." Wonderweiss warned Luppi.
"Where hon? Where are they?" Luppi asked him as he looked at Wonderweiss.
Wonderweiss was taught not to point so he used his face to 'point'. Luppi turned around as he saw two redheaded soul reapers at the candle shop. They were in the back as they were talking to the cashier.
"Damn it. I was really hoping we'll be able to buy some cute Halloween stuff here. We can try online again, Renji but it'll be pre-order till the official date." Alice told him as she smiled at Renji.
"Nah, no biggie. I'm a patient man. I can wait really. Anyways, Ichika needs more clothes, wanna help me buy some?" Renji asked his friend.
"Of course.~ Let's go spoil your baby girl." Alice said as she held onto Renji's arm.
When they both turned they gasped, seeing Luppi and Wonderweiss.
"Hey guys. Long time no see. How y'all been?" Luppi asked them as he smiled at them.
"Erm, sorry but who are you?" Renji asked them as he tilted his head.
"Whaaaa? I'm Luppi! And this is Wonderweiss! I'm sure your friend, Izaya, is here too, right~?" Luppi asked them.
"He's around. Just not sure where though. But what's up?" Renji asked them.
"We're just shopping for our bestie, Tier Harribel." Luppi said as he winked at them.
"Tofay's her biffay!" Wonderweiss said happily.
"Awww, today's her birthday? Can we see her? I wanna wish her a very happy birthday.~" Alice said as she patted Wonderweiss's head.
"She's over there.~ Go on.~" Luppi said as he grinned at them.
Wonderweiss waved at them as he smiled at Alice & Renji. Alice waved back at him as Renji did the same and they both walked up to Tier.
"Hey Tier.~ We heard that today's your birthday? Is that correct~?" Renji said to her.
Tier turned around as she nodded and smiled at them. She forgot that she was wearing her mask.
"Yes. Thank you. Are you two here with Izaya? He texted me a 'happy birthday' wish, but I haven't seen him since y'all are here." Tier asked them.
"He's somewhere. We're about to go find him right now." Alice said as she smiled.
"I see. Thank you for the birthday wish. We're kinda kicked out of our home so I wanted to come here and shop." Tier explained to them.
"Yeah we do the same too." Renji said as he chuckled.
Alice laughed as she playfully punched his arm.
"If you want, you two can come over to celebrate Tier's birthday. We're having a party for her.~" Menoly said as she walked up to them.
"R-Really? Erm….rain check. I gotta be with my baby girls because they wanna have a movie night." Renji explained as he rubbed his hair.
"What about you, redhead?" Loly looked at Alice as she asked her.
"I'm not doing much so-" Alice got interrupted by Loly.
"Good! Go find your friend Izaya and you two can come over.~ We'll meet y'all by the food court.~" Loly said as she winked at Alice.
"Guys, I'm all done. Let's check out so we can shop at other stores." Tier said as she smiled at Alice and walked to the cashier.
"Well, that was quick. You got invited to a party.~ You got invited to a party.~" Renji said as he chuckled.
Alice smiled back as she saw Izaya. She waved at him as Izaya walked up to them.
"What's up?" Izaya asked.
"Well we both got invited to a party. It's Tier's birthday and I think we should buy her something while we're still here." Alice said as she smiled at Izaya.
Izaya gasped happily, "It's been so long I've talked to them. Okay! Oh Renji here you go, I've already bought Ichika some new clothes and hair accessories. So you're good to go." Izaya said as he smiled at his brother in law.
Renji smiled as he patted Izaya's head. "Thanks little bro. You two go have fun. I'll come by to pick y'all when it's midnight.~" Renji told them.
"Renji, we'll call you when the party's over." Alice said as she hugged her friend.
Renji smiled and hugged her back as he hugged Izaya. "Alright, it's a deal. Remember to fight hard when there's a hollow around."
"You got it, bro. We'll see you later.~" Izaya said as he smiled at Renji.
Both Izaya & Alice watched as Renji walked off to the exit. Then the two looked around to find a store to shop for Tier. They found a vintage store as they both walked in.
Tier was at a clothing store with Nel, Loly, Menoly, and Cirucci as Luppi and Wonderweiss were at the plushie store. They walked around for ten minutes as Loly got a phone call.
"What up?" Loly answered.
"We're all done, y'all can take your time but as long we bring Master Harribel.~" Apacci said as she licked her lips.
"You got it, babe. We're done shopping anyway, also we're bringing two more guests. If you don't mind.~" Loly replied.
"Alright, that's totally fine. See you then." Apacci hung up as Loly got everyone ready to go.
Izaya & Alice were at the park as they were wrapping up Tier's birthday presents. Alice looked up as she saw them walking out the mall. Izaya turned around as he smiled at them and stood up.
"Come on you two. They are all done.~ Loly told them.
Alice & Izaya followed them to their house as they stayed quiet. When they arrived, Tier was blindfolded as Menoly opened the door. Nel gasped as she looked at the party decorations.
Nnoitra, Szayel, Yyflordt, Ggio, Findorr, and Kukkapuro all stood there as they saw their friends walk in. Nnoitra gasped when he saw two soul reapers walk in. He raised an eyebrow.
Mila Rose and Sung-Sun held onto Tier's bags as they walked her to the counter that had tons of cupcakes in front of her.
"Hey dweebs. Who invited y'all?" Nnoitra snarled at them.
"I did. Now get your ass over here." Menoly snapped at him.
Apacci took off the blindfold as Tier gasped at the cupcakes and at her friends. "No way….."
Then everyone began to sing 'Happy birthday' for Tier. Kukkapuro howled throughout the song as Alice held onto him and patted his head. Tier smiled as she looked back at the cupcakes and blew out the candles. Everyone clapped and cheered.
"How many did you make, Szayel?" Tier asked him.
"Over fifty so everyone can have one. Also- Yylfordt get the door please.~" Szayel said.
"What door?" Izaya asked as he jumped up hearing the doorbell ring.
Yylfordt smiled as he answered the door. "Pizza's here everyone.~"
Izaya walked up to him to help carry them inside as Yylfordt gave the money to the pizza guy.
"Here let me get a few of those." A voice said as they grabbed about five boxes.
"Oh thank you. I'm glad we're having pizza for- Wait, do I know you?" Izaya asked the arrancar.
Di Roy Rinker smiled at him. "No. But I've heard of you. Izaya Kuchiki, right?" Di asked him.
"Yes. I'm Izaya Kuchiki. I'm a soul reaper." Izaya explained to him.
"Yeah I know. I may have fought your sister before. She was pretty strong." Di Roy said as he grinned at Izaya.
Izaya gave him an awkward smile. Not too sure what to say to him.
"Oh hey, who's that cutie over there~? Is she your girlfriend~?" Di Roy asked Izaya as he saw Alice, sitting down, petting Kukkapuro.
"Huh? She's my friend, and that's Alice. Also you may not know me but I am gay and married to a guy." Izaya explained to Di Roy.
"Hey whoa, I'm sorry. I didn't know, but she's really cute.~" Di Roy said as he grinned.
Izaya rolled his eyes as he dragged Di Roy to her. "Compliment her instead of me. Alice, I'm getting you pizza now.~" Izaya said to his friend.
Alice smiled as she saw Di Roy, looking down at her.
"What's up~?" I'm Di Roy Rinker. Are you enjoying the party?" Di Roy asked her.
"I am. It's been a while since I've been to a party.~ But it's nice to meet you, I'm Alice Akiko. I'm a lieutenant of squad six." Alice told him.
"Niiiiice.~ If you're not so busy, why don't we see a movie sometime~? I'll let you pick out whatever you want.~" Di Roy said to her.
Alice smiled a bit as a loud voice was heard.
"Di Roy! Leave her alone and get your ass over here for some pizza, you weirdo!" Edrad said as he barked.
Di Roy jumped up as he chuckled, "I'll be back.~ I'm coming you big ball of-" Di Roy's voice cut off as he got near Edrad.
Alice tilted her head in confusion till Izaya came back and handed her a plate of pizza. Kukkapuro got off of Alice's lap as Szayel got his food all ready for him.
"Wait, when did they come back alive?" Alice asked them as she noticed that they were never around here.
"Beats me, but I'm pretty sure Captain Kurostuchi has something to do with it.~" Izaya said as he ate his slice of pizza.
Alice smiled as she watched Kukkapuro eat his food. Then Luppi walked up to them as he smiled.
"So how long are y'all staying here? We might watch some movies." Luppi told them.
"Well, it's barely evening so maybe another three hours. Is that okay, Alice?" Izaya asked her.
"That's fine! I would love to hang out with y'all for a bit." Alice said as she smiled.
"Cool.~ Guys I'm going to start up the movie now.~" Luppi called out.
"Okay! We're coming to the living room." Loly called out.
Wonderweiss walked up to Luppi as he sat by him and smiled. Luppi patted his head as he waited for the others. Alice heard her phone go off as she took it out of her dress pocket and saw that Renji had texted her.
"Whoa, your dress has pockets? No way! That's so badass, girl.~ Slay~!" Luppi said happily.
"Yeah, this one was on sale and I didn't realize it had pockets till I put my hands in there so I had to get it.~ But thank you." Alice said to Luppi as she replied back to Renji.
A few moments later everyone came to the living room. Izaya saw that Di Roy was sitting by Edrad. He gave them a smile. He smiled at Kukkapuro as he walked up to him and laid down by his ankles.
Izaya smiled as he petted him.
"It's Tier's birthday, so she gets to choose what movie we should watch. Also there's popcorn for everyone too.~" Sung-Sun said to everyone.
"Yeah yeah, we get it. Go on birthday girl. Pick whatever you like. I can take it. It can be a very shitty horror movie from the eighties or some shit. I don't care.~" Nnoitra said as he grinned.
Tier only nodded as she went to one of the streaming platforms and found a whole list there. Izaya smiled as he got up to get a cupcake and some popcorn. Then Di Roy did the same.
"S-Sorry. I'm also getting what you're getting.~ Also you're cute. You and Alice but of course you're both taken huh~?" Di Roy said to him as he licked his lips.
"Actually, I'm married. Once again." Izaya said as he showed Di Roy his wedding ring.
"Damn~! What a big ass diamond.~" Di Roy said as he grabbed two cupcakes and popcorn. He winked at Izaya as he headed back to the living room to sit by Edrad.
Izaya smiled as he grabbed two cupcakes and two popcorn for him and Alice. He sat back down next to her, handing her dessert.
"Thank you. This is going to be so good." Alice said as she took them.
Izaya smiled at her and nodded as Tier picked out a movie for everyone to watch as they all grew quiet. Everyone was so focused on the movie. Tier sat in the middle as Sung-Sun, Apacci, and Mila Rose all cuddled each other. They all looked at each other and at Tier knowing they wanna give her a very special birthday present later on tonight.
Tier then picked out another movie that was an hour long. Izaya and Alice both ended up falling up on the couch as well as everyone else did. After the movie was over, Renji came over to pick up Alice and Izaya. He chuckled as they were still asleep.
"Thanks for taking good care of them. I knew the sugar would make them pass out right away. But I'll take them home with me." Renji told Szayel.
"Mmmm. Alright, Renji. Have a safe trip back home.~ Bye bye now.~" Szayel said as he waved at him and slowly closed the door.
"Is anybody else going out?" Nnorita called out.
Everybody shook their heads as they threw away their trash.
"Good. I'm going to watch my own movies. Yer welcome to join if y'all want." Nnoirta said as he grinned.
Tesla ended up following him as he stayed behind him.
Apacci made sure everyone was going to their own room as she watched Mila Rose carry Tier to their bedroom. Apacci grinned as she blushed and followed them along with Sung-Sun.
When they arrived, they laid Tier down on their bed as they closed and locked the door.
