At Royal Woods, the Louds are outside their home getting ready to go on their cruise vacation by packing up suitcases and placing them on top of Vanzilla.

Rita is reading out a checklist.

"OK, let's see. Beach ball, check. 18 gallons of water, check. Sun screen with highest spf possible, check. Barf bags for whoever's sea sick, check."

Lynn Jr. approaches her and says "Man, I hope Mr. Grouse doesn't break in and steal all my Lynn-sagna while we're gone. I cannot afford anymore ding dang ingredients."

Lisa swoops in and says "Not to worry, father. Todd will be on lookout for the remainder of our absence."

Todd emerges from the doorstep and says "Trespassers shall be evaporated."

He takes out a disintegrating laser, startling Lynn Sr. and Rita.

"That won't be necessary, Todd. We don't want another lawsuit on our hands." said Lisa.

"You're the boss." said Todd before putting away the laser.

"Hang on, what do you mean by another lawsuit?" Rita asked Lisa.

Lisa grows suspiciously hesitated and says "I better check if Lily is overusing the sun screen. An infant's skin is too important to be burnt."

She walks off.

Meanwhile, the Loud kids are in Vanzilla talking about the SS Aqua Voyager.

"Dudes, I heard that every year, the ship sails around a bunch of sharks." said Luna.

"It says on the ship's brochure I'm holding, they're called the rare steel-toothed sharks. They come around once every summer season." said Lincoln.

"I wish I has those for a pet. It would be so cool." said Lana.

"Why would you wanna do that? Won't they just chomp up my shiny tiaras and beautiful gowns?" stated Lola.

"I could house-train it." said Lana.

Meanwhile, Leni and Lori are in Lori's car.

"EEEEE! Lori, I totes can't believe you got us this vacay. You're like a millionaire." said Leni.

"Well, not exactly. But I can't believe it too. This is literally gonna an awesome family vacay." said Lori.

Both girls squeal in excitement.

Meanwhile at Great Lakes City, the Casagrandes are also packing up for the vacation outside the apartment building.

"Hector, did you remember to bring your special summer outfit?" asked Rosa.

"Rosa, please. I don't need that junk. What's wrong with showing a little upper skin." said Hector.

"Nobody wants to see your plump belly. It's even worse than last summer." said Rosa.

"I'm not plump. It's just inflating, that's all." said Hector.

"Hector Rodrigo Casagrande Gutiérrez, you put on that outfit this second or you'll answer to my chancla." said Rosa before tapping her chancla on her hand palm and giving Hector an intimidating glare.

"Uh... wherever did I put that thing?" said Hector before running up to the apartment.

Bobby speaks with Maybelle.

"You mean to tell me that I ain't gon' get my mangos while you're gone?" said Maybelle.

"Don't worry, Maybelle. We put Vito in charge of the mercado while we're away." said Bobby.

Vito arrives and says "Darn tootin. I know much of the store than the palm of my hand.

"You put him in charge? What is this, no qualifications day?" said Maybelle before she walks off.

"Now, Vito. Are you sure you can handle running the mercado by yourself?" asked Bobby.

"Relax, ragazzo. I got Big Tony and Little Sal to back me up. Right, fellas?" said Vito.

Big Tony and Little Sal give him a thumbs up.

"But if something goes wrong, don't squeal to the cops." Vito whispered to his dogs.

Meanwhile, Carlos give an interesting fact about the SS Aqua Voyager to his immediate family.

"Did you know that the SS Aqua Voyager was built for the purpose of transporting polar bears to their original habitats in the Arctic? And it was built to scare away enemy ships in International Seas." said Carlos.

"Why is that?" asked CJ.

"Mainly because the front of the cruse ship is shaped like a shark." said Carlos.

"Snoresville, dad. I'm not going on vacation for homeschool." said Carl.

"Pfft." said Carlitos.

"What? But don't you kids wanna hear the time the SS Aqua Voyager saved the lives of 300 people during the storm of '10." said Carlos.

"No." said the kids.

"Don't worry, mi amor. You can bore your kids with facts after the vacation." said Frida.

"Thanks, Frida." said Carlos.

Upon realizing, he also says "Hey!"

Ronnie Anne talks to Sid.

"I'm so gonna miss you, Ronnie Anne. It's like your place will be deserted. And I'll be deserted." said Sid.

"I'm only gone for a few days, Sid. It's not like it's prison." said Ronnie Anne.

"Yeah, a summer prison." said Sid.

"I'll miss you too, bud." said Ronnie Anne before the two hug.

"Bring me back a giant souvenir." said Sid.

The horn is blown on the mercado van driven by Bobby.

"OK, are we ready to go?" shouted Bobby.

The whole family cheers on.

Hector races outside with his special summer outfit saying "Wait for me. Wait for me."

Arturo arrives with a suitcase, meeting Maria and Ronnie Anne.

"Hola, chicas." said Arturo.

"Hey, dad. Are you totally gonna be excited for this family vacay?" said Ronnie Anne.

"I hope. I had to get extra barf bags on the way. Scratch that, extra, extra barf bags. Madre Mia, all the vomit I'll endure" said a concerned Arturo.

"Oh, you'll be fine, Arturo." said Maria.

"Yeah. This is gonna be great. My entire family coming together." said Ronnie before pulling Maria and Arturo close to each other, making thing awkward.

Back at Royal Woods, the Louds are now set to leave for the cruise ship.

Mr. Grouse peeks at them leaving and says "Oh, good. They're gone. Now to get my hands on those Lynn-sagnas. Good thing I keep a spare key for myself."

Mr. Grouse sneaks toward the Loud residence doorstep, until Todd catches him in the act.

"Tresspasser. Prepare to be evaporated." said Todd before shooting the disintegrating laser at Mr. Grouse.

Mr. Grouse runs away.

"Yes. You had better run. Nobody burglarizes the Louds." said Todd.
