The Hero
Miss Magillicuddy
Chapter 3
The answer to Chrissy's question about how much life would be better at the Buckley's was quickly answered. It was amazing to be in a house where she wasn't belittled all the time, and was getting three square meals a day. After a month of living with them, she was finally starting to get to a healthy weight. She had talked Robin into going for runs with her in the mornings before Eddie came and got them for school, which the other girl had reluctantly agreed to. Robin had whined that they did enough running in gym, but Chrissy had told her she didn't feel she knew the area well enough to run by herself, so Robin joined her.
She was getting close with Beth and John as well, the group of them would have a family board game night on Saturdays, which Eddie was always welcome to. They had been intrigued by him, and seemed to really like him on the occasions that he was over there. He and Chrissy hung out together every day after school, either at the Buckley's place or his. They spent the afternoons together so they could study, Robin joining them on multiple occasions when the study session happened at her house. The Buckley's had even allowed him to sleep over at their house after board game night had run late, on the condition that the door stayed wide open so that nothing untoward would happen between the two of them. Chrissy was happy to oblige, as she missed cuddling up to sleep in his arms. They really, truthfully made her feel like one of their own, and to Chrissy that feeling was addicting.
The first Saturday after she had moved in there, Eddie had come over toting a large bag with his D&D stuff in it and helped her to roll her character. She smiled at the memory of the two of them snuggled up together at the kitchen table with all the papers spread around them and a players handbook propped open between them. She had decided to go with a high-elf, chaotic neutral arcane trickster rogue with a penchant for shiny things, that she had named River.
"Okay, so you're going to take these four D6's and keep the highest three numbers to equal your stats," he had told her as he handed over the dice, their hands brushing together. "You can reroll any one's, and you'll be rolling for 6 stats. We'll figure out where to put your numbers after that."
"Okay," she said, pressing a kiss to his cheek before rolling the dice out on the table, smiling widely as her first roll got her two sixes and a five. Most of her other rolls went pretty well, too. Though, she did get one 8, which she threw on intelligence. After rolling her character, she picked out the different spells that the arcane trickster would be able to use, smiling at Eddie as he made suggestions for what would be best for her character, or what would help out the party in the campaign. He threw some not so subtle hints about what languages would be helpful for her to pick out, as well. Since the party was already mid-campaign, he had her starting out at a level ten, and helped her pick feats that would make her character stronger in the long run. At one point Robin had wandered through the kitchen and called them nerds with a giggle, which had caused Eddie to flip her off good naturedly.
"Suck it, Robin," he had stated as he and Chrissy continued to work on her character.
"No thanks," she had sassed back, "I'll leave that for your girlfriend."
Beth who had been in earshot let out a scandalized yell of "Robin!" while Robin left the room laughing wickedly as both Eddie and Chrissy flushed at the innuendo. After finishing up with her character, he talked to her a bit about the backstory so that he could figure out how he wanted to work her into the campaign and decided that she would be being held as a prisoner in the dungeon that the rest of the party was currently exploring in their sessions.
The following Friday had been her first session with the party, and to say she had had fun would have been an understatement. She didn't understand why anyone would say that what they were doing was satanic. She felt that almost anyone would like it if they were given a chance, much like she knew people would love Eddie if they would give him a chance. She had felt her heart swell with adoration as she watched him gesticulate wildly while telling the story. Not to mention the fact that she had wanted to straddle his hips as soon as she saw him sitting in the throne in the theater room. Something she had admitted afterwards to Robin as the two girls giggled together and passed a joint between them in her room until the wee hours of the morning. Robin had joked that Chrissy seeing Eddie sitting on chair in the middle of a white room would make her want to jump his bones, and Chrissy couldn't disagree with her.
She had been surprised when Robin had confided in her during her second week there that she was a lesbian. The other girl had had a nervous look in her eyes as she avoided Chrissy's gaze like the plague. Chrissy felt her heart break, as she imagined having to come out to someone and not knowing how they were going to react.
"So that's why you said Steve really wasn't your type," She had stated putting an arm around her friend's shoulder, "Thank you for telling me that. I know it is probably hard to admit something like that, but I'm proud of you."
"So you still want to be my friend," Robin had asked insecurely, and looked up with wide eyes as Chrissy scoffed.
"Of course I want to be your friend, dummy," she had said, "what difference does it make to me that you like girls instead of guys? That would be a dumb reason to stop being friends with someone. I mean, its not like you have a crush on me, do you? Even if you did, I would still be your friend. You don't see me shunning, Will, do you? "
"No," Robin laughed, nudging her shoulder with her own. "Its just, if the wrong person finds out, then I become the town pariah."
"I'll still be your friend, even if you ever do become the town pariah," Chrissy assured her with a grin, "So, are there any girls at school that you do have a crush on?"
"Wait, what are you talking about with Will," changing the subject from crushes back to him. She had no idea what Chrissy was talking about.
"Oh please," Chrissy said, rolling her eyes slightly to show she was kidding, "The kid is clearly gay and has it bad for Mike Wheeler. I actually feel sorry for him, because Mike is as straight as can be."
"You think Will Byers is gay," Robin asked wide eyed, a contemplative look upon her face as she tried to think back to any interactions she had witnessed after joining the Hellfire table at lunch a few times.
"Have seen the way he looks at Mike," Chrissy asked with a giggle, "Really think about it for a minute and you'll see what I'm talking about. The poor kid is head over heels."
"Huh," Robin had said, "I guess I can kind of see it now that you mention it. Damn, that sucks for him."
"Who do you have a crush on," Chrissy asked smirking at the other girl. "I know you thought you distracted me with the will conversation, but I have a memory like a steel trap."
"Ugh, you are so annoying," Robin joked before turning pink cheeked and doe eyed as she thought about her crush, "Her names Vicki. She's in band with me, and she totally does it for me."
"Is she the one that has a Molly Ringwald thing going on," She asked her as she squinted her eyes trying to remember if she had ever spoken with the girl. At Robin's reluctant nod she smiled. "Well, you two would be pretty cute together. I'm pulling for you that she also is into the lady persuasion."
"Shut up," Robin had snorted, shoving her shoulder gently as the two of them collapsed into giggles.
"Here you go, sweetie," Chrissy was pulled out of her thoughts as Beth set down a plate with two small pancakes, sausage and eggs on the table in front of her, the woman briefly pressed a kiss to the top of her head, repeating the action as she did the set down a plate with Robin. "So what are your plans for after school today?"
"Band practice," Robin said, as she took a chomp out of her sausage link, "then I have to work until 10:00 Steve is going to give me a ride home."
"Okay," Beth said as she turned her gaze to rest on Chrissy who was happily digging into her pancakes. "What about you, sweetie?"
"I was hoping I could go to Eddie's to work on our homework together," she told her, looking at her with hopeful eyes, "We have to come up with an idea for a persuasive paper for our English class and we're planning on working on the papers together. Since we're in different class periods, we were both able to choose the same argument to write about. Then at 6 we have Hellfire Club."
"That's fine," Beth stated, with a grin, "Have fun with your game.
"Thanks, ma," Chrissy said, the term of endearment she had started calling her after her third week slipping out. She's been more of a mother to me in a month than my own mother was for 17 years. She had been embarrassed the first time the word had slipped out, convinced that she had just made the kind woman uncomfortable. Instead she had smiled and pulled her into a tight hug, letting her know that it made her day that Chrissy had come to care about her that much. From that day on Beth and John became Ma and Pop.
"Anytime, sweetie," Beth stated, resting a hand on top of her own and squeezing before digging into her own breakfast. "I really like Eddie. He's such a sweet boy."
"He really is," Chrissy agreed, spooning a bite of egg into her mouth. Robin mimed vomiting into her plate, but sent a wink her way to show she was just joking, Chrissy rolled her eyes at her and continued with a follow-up statement, "The sweetest person I know."
After breakfast, Chrissy and Robin grabbed their bags and stood outside, Chrissy eagerly awaiting her boyfriends arrival and Robin rolling her eyes at her good naturedly. Eddie pulled up a few minutes later with Run to the Hills by Iron Maiden blasting from his stereo. She smiled as she remembered it being the first song she had heard him perform at The Hideout. He had his windows down and grinned mischievously as they got closer, turning down the volume on the radio.
"I'll give you some candy if you get in the van," he joked, in a creepy voice, causing the two girls to laugh out loud. He waved as he saw Beth smiling at him from the doorway of the house. Chrissy smiled at him as she climbed into the front seat of the van and pressed a kiss to his lips in greeting.
"Where's my candy," Robin joked from the back seat as she slid the door closed behind her. "I got in the van like you asked."
Eddie laughed and admitted that he didn't actually have anything on him, unless she wanted a spliff for the road and he'd even give her the Chrissy's family discount of fifteen dollars for an ounce.
"How come Chrissy gets it for free and I have to pay," Robin mock pouted with a fake put upon look on her face.
"Because I'm not dating you," He joked as he peered at her in the rearview mirror. "Soon I won't be dealing at all anymore. Once I'm out of the stash I have now, I'm done. I need to clean up my act for my girl. I'll get a real job and everything."
"Family video is looking for a couple more people to work nights and weekends if you were seriously looking," Robin told him with a grin, "and Steve and I could totally give you an in… if you wanted."
"Really," He asked, excitement coloring his voice, "That would actually be pretty awesome. Thanks for letting me know."
"How come you didn't let me know that," Chrissy joked with her, "I need a job, too!"
"I didn't know you were looking," Robin responded, "but if you both actually applied that would be pretty awesome. They're really flexible with schedules and I know neither of you can work on Friday nights because of Hellfire, so Steve and I could do that."
"Can you bring home a couple of applications when you come home tonight," Chrissy asked her, as she reached out to grab the hand Eddie had sat down on the seat between them.
"Sure will," Robin answered with a grin as they pulled into the school parking lot. She looked at the clock and saw that they still had twenty minutes before their first bell rang. "Well, I'll leave you lovebirds to it. I'm going inside so I don't have to watch you make googly eyes at each other for the next fifteen minutes."
"See you later, Robin," Chrissy muttered, as she sent a wave back to the girl who was climbing out of the van.
"Bye," The other girl shouted as she slung her bookbag over her shoulder and walked into the school.
"Alone at last," Eddie muttered as he slide into the center seat between them and rested an arm over her shoulder before turning his hips to face her. He lifted a hand to her cheek and pulled her in for a hot kiss that left her gasping and wanting for more. He gently tugged on the hem of her shirt as he sent a seductive grin her way. "Have I told you how hot I find you in the Hellfire Club t-shirt?"
"Mmm, not today," she said leaning in to press another kiss to his lips and running a flirty hand down the front of his shirt. "but it has come up at least once a week for the past few weeks. I like the shirt on you, too, by the way."
He grinned and grabbed a hold of her hips as she climbed to straddle his lap. Instead of going for his lips like she normally would, she went for his neck. She was getting really good at leaving hickeys on his exposed throat where other students would see it. He groaned out low and long as she drove him crazy with lust. After leaving a decent sized hickey on his neck she kissed up his jaw to finally connect their lips back together. Things were starting to get pretty heated, and her hand had just started traveling down to his belt buckle when there was the sound of something knocking on the door of the car. The two of them sprang apart and saw Mr. Clark standing there with warm eyes and a smirk on his face.
"I think the two of you better get inside the school," he told them in warning, "and you should feel lucky that it was me that came across you and not someone else, because they may have given you a detention for that display."
"Sorry, Mr. Clark," Eddie muttered, as he blushed and turned off the van. The two of them were quickly rolling up the windows and following Mr. Clark into the school who turned and gave them a look.
"I'll see you in class in a few minutes, okay," he said with a grin. "try not to distract each other in the hallway. If you're tardy I'll be irritated since I know you were here early."
"Yes, sir," Chrissy stated, still red from being caught by him making out with her boyfriend. Though she was grateful he hadn't come along a minute later, because she was pretty sure if he had happened upon them when her hand was down his pants, they actually would have gotten in trouble, maybe even suspended for lascivious acts on school grounds. She remembered a couple had been suspended the year before for getting caught doing something similar in one of the bathroom stalls of the girls room.
They stopped at Eddie's locker so he could grab one of the books he had forgotten to bring home the night before that was for his second period class. Chrissy smiled while looking at his ass and pulled him into a hug from behind, rubbing her hands over his abdomen. She just couldn't seem to keep her hands to herself when he was around, and she really didn't want to. He chuckled lightly, leaning back slightly in her embrace, only to faceplant in his locker a moment later as the two of them were shoved from behind.
"Fuckin' freaks," and of course it was Jason Fucking Carver, "get that lovey dovey freak bullshit out of here."
"Fuck off, Carver," Chrissy yelled loudly before shoving his retreating back, causing him to trip and fall to the ground. He had been even worse than he normally was when he had found out Chrissy was pressing charges against him for sexual and physical assault, but seeing her boyfriend clutching his nose from where it had crashed into his locker had had her seeing red. She didn't even actively remember shoving him, or the words that came out of her mouth. As he unsteadily got to his feet and stood to his full height, she punched him in the face. "You're such a piece of shit. Yeah, I'm pressing charges against you for sexual assault. Get the fuck over it and stay the fuck away from Eddie and I."
"You're a fucking psycho," he shouted back at her, lifting his hands and shoving her back into Eddie who was still nursing his dripping nose. He grunted as his back hit his open locker, but threw a hand around her waist to steady her so she didn't fall. Eddie was starting to get pissed and stepped around Chrissy and started advancing on Jason. He pulled the hand that wasn't nursing his nose back and was seconds away from decking Jason in the face when a tight grip grasped his wrist.
"Don't even think about it Mr. Munson," Principal Higgins voice came from behind him as the grip forced him to lower his hand and turn around. The principal trailed his eyes over Eddies form, noting the bleeding nose that had immediately made his eyes water. "Take yourself to the nurse, Mr. Munson.
"Yes, sir," Eddie mumbled, keeping his head tilted back and reaching out his other hand to give Chrissy's hand a squeeze to show he was okay. "I'll see you later, okay, Princess?"
"Yeah, okay," she said, looking at him with worried eyes, which widened in horror as Principal Higgins grabbed onto her upper right arm and the scruff of Jason's letterman jacket and started dragging them off towards his office.
"We are going to have a chat," he told them as he marched them ceremoniously through the hallways. Everyone was staring at them and whispering behind their hands as they watched the former couple be marched off. As they got into the waiting room outside his office his released his hold on her arm and pointed sternly to one of the wooden chairs sitting up against the wall. "Sit."
"Yes, sir," she said quietly, watching as he continued dragging Jason into his office. She sat there in silence for twenty minutes, worrying about whether or not Eddie's nose had stopped bleeding or if he was still in the nurses office. As Jason came storming out of Principal Higgins' office, they made eye contact and started glaring at each other. She wanted to get up and hit him again and wipe that stupid look from his face.
"My office, Miss Cunningham," Principal Higgins stated firmly, glaring at her until she stood up and slowly made her way inside. He was giving her a stern look as he went back around his desk and placed his elbows on the table, steepling his fingers while he glared at her. "I am absolutely appalled at your behavior this morning. You used to be such a good kid, what happened?"
"Jason started it," she half shouted, glaring at him and crossing her arms over her chest defiantly, "He shoved into us and called us freaks, and I guess I snapped. I'm getting sick of him picking on us."
"If a student is hassling you, you go to a teacher," he stated firmly, giving her a look over the top of his glasses. "You don't take matters into your own hands and attack them back. That is just as bad in my book as starting the fight."
"So its okay if he shoves Eddie and I into his locker," Chrissy asked incredulously. "That's complete bullshit!"
"Language, Miss Cunningham," He reprimanded sharply, "you will not speak to me that way. You are in enough trouble as it is. I will give you the same option that I gave Mr. Carver. You can either be suspended for 3 days or you can do a Saturday detention. The choice is yours. If you decide to be suspended, it will start today, which means you won't be able to go to any school club meetings or sporting events until the suspension is lifted. I will let you know that Mr. Carver has chosen to do the Saturday detention tomorrow, so if that is what you decide to go with, we will schedule your Saturday for the following weekend. We are going to try to keep you separated, as we don't want another altercation happening like this."
"I'll take the Saturday detention," Chrissy mumbled weakly, looking at the torn out knees of her jeans.
"A letter will be sent home with you today that your guardians are going to have to sign," Principal Higgins explained, "You will bring it back Monday signed, and if you don't we will be calling your guardians to have a meeting with us."
"I'll bring it back signed," she assured him. Inside she was dreading it. What would the Buckley's think when she brought home a letter saying she had been in a fight at school? Hopefully they weren't too disappointed in her. She wondered if she would be grounded, or if they would understand that she hadn't started the fight.
"I'll get you a pass to your class," he stated as he pulled out a passbook and started filling it out. She looked at the time and saw that she had completely missed first period, and second period was already 15 minutes in. She saw him sign his name with flourish at the bottom of the slip and he ripped it off and handed it to her. "Now, hurry along. The time I sent you out of here is listed on that slip. I'm sure your teacher will let me know if you don't go straight there."
"I actually really need to use the bathroom," She stated as she squirmed uncomfortably in the seat. "I didn't get the chance to go before first period."
He sighed and added a small note to the bottom of the pass, letting her know that she needed to make her restroom break quick, and sent her on her way with instructions to return to the office that afternoon to pick up the letter for her guardians to sign. She did make sure to make her trip to the bathroom quick, as she didn't want to get into any further trouble. As she walked into her class there was tittering from other students as she handed the pink slip to Mrs. O'Donnell, who sternly motioned her to her seat. She glared at a few of the cheerleaders who were smirking at her with obvious disdain in their eyes. Everyone in the school knew that a pink slip meant you were coming from the Principal's office, and it wasn't hard to figure out she had probably gotten in trouble. She was sure the rumor mill was already pumping out the story of that morning's fight, probably with embellishments here and there to make it seem worse than what it was.
"Freak," a voice disguised as a cough said, as she sat down in her seat and pulled out her math book. She looked up at the noise and glared at Patrick who was smirking at her from across the room. The small group of cheerleaders in the back giggled. Yeah, that's real mature. Like their words really bothered her. She just rolled her eyes at Patrick and ignored him. She didn't attack Jason because he called her a freak. She attacked him because he hurt someone she loved, not that she had gotten the nerve to say the words aloud, yet. She had come close multiple times, but she didn't want to scare Eddie off. She once again wondered how Eddie was doing as she pulled out her pencil and focused on what Mrs. O'Donnell was talking about. At the end of class, Mrs. O'Donnell handed back out the tests from the previous week. She was pleased to see that she had gotten an A+, and beamed at the top of the paper that said 'Good Work'.
She didn't get the chance to see Eddie until fifth period US History, and she was sad to see that the bridge of his nose was bruised, but at least it didn't look to be broken. They didn't get much time to talk before the bell rang signaling the beginning of class. The teacher announced that they would be splitting into pairs to do a speech with a visual aid about a famous figure in history. His hands immediately came up to rest upon her shoulders, claiming her as his partner. As if that was even in question. She turned to look back at him as the people in class started moving their seats into pairs and sent him a beaming smile.
"Hey partner," she said, as she turned her desk around to face him. "How has your day been, aside from what happened this morning?"
"It's actually been pretty spectacular, nose notwithstanding," He joked as he reached a hand across his desk to take hers into his. "As you know, we got our tests back from Mrs. O'Donnell today."
He smiled and reached down into his bag, pulling out his math folder and pulling the paper from inside it. He slid it across the desks as a grin grew on his face. A large B+ was written on the paper, along with the words, 'clearly your study buddy sixth period is paying off. Keep up the good work.' She beamed at him in pride as she slid the test back over to him.
"I knew you could do it, baby," she said, as she took his hand into hers and squeezed it tightly. She unclasped his hand though, as she saw Mr. Jones giving them a pointed look and actually started discussing their upcoming project. The two of them decided that they wanted to do their presentations on President Abraham Lincoln and started discussing ideas for the visual aid. By the time the period had ended, they had it pretty well planned out, and decided to start working on it in the library that Saturday. They were already working on their papers for English that weekend, may as well start work on this project as well. They were told that they had 3 weeks to complete the assignment, which she thought was manageable.
After class the two of them made their way to their lockers to grab their lunches and headed into the cafeteria. She smiled as she noticed most of the group already there, but they had left her and Eddie's seats open for them.
"There she is," Dustin shouted as she took her seat at the table, "I saw the fight this morning. You were so cool. He gets up off the ground, then Bam! I don't think I've ever seen him look so shocked."
"Wish I had been there to see it," Justin stated, as he stared at her in awe, "Tiny Chrissy Cunningham taking on someone twice her size… and winning. Man, if you weren't Eddie's girl, I'd probably try to steal you away."
"Yeah, I don't think anyone could steal me away from Eddie," she told him with a giggle, "He's already got my heart."
There was a collective of 'oohs and awes' as she finished her statement and she smiled as a slight blush lit up her face. Eddie was beaming at her with his eyes filled with joy.
"So what happened in the principal's office," Gareth asked in between bites of the school meatloaf.
"I have to do a Saturday detention," she informed the table, "It was either that or be suspended, and I wouldn't have been able to go to Hellfire tonight if that had happened. I don't want to miss it, especially since I have it on good authority that it will be a heavy combat night."
"Princess, don't spoil my secrets," Eddie mock whined while grabbing onto her hand, and squeezing it gently.
"Hey sis, did I hear you say you got Saturday detention," Robin asked as she walked up to the table with her own lunch bag, everyone shifting around so there was room for her to join them.
"Yeah," she said, shifting awkwardly. "do you think Ma and Pop are going to be very pissed at me?"
"Well, you know the rule about getting in trouble at school means getting in trouble at home," Robin told her, "so I wouldn't be surprised if they grounded you for a week or something, but they aren't going to go crazy on you, either."
"Great, a grounding," she muttered picking at her peanut butter and jelly sandwich, "maybe I'll wait to tell them until Sunday night, so I can at least have this weekend free."
"I wouldn't recommend that," Robin said quickly, "Then they'll think you were trying to hide it and you might be in trouble for longer. I'd probably mention it as soon as you get home tonight."
"Careful what you say around the freaks," a passing basketball player was saying to Claire Owens, the cheerleader who had pissed her off the month previously, "the girl freak may attack you."
Claire let out an earsplitting laugh, as she flirtily put her hand on his chest and batted her eyelashes. Chrissy just rolled her eyes at the comment, but Eddie made his fingers into horns and stuck his tongue out at them, causing the rest of their table to howl with laughter. The jocks hurried away after that while Eddie turned his head to follow them with his funny face. Chrissy giggled and put her hands on his knee.
"Stop it, you're going to make me pee my pants," she said through her laughter.
"Can't have that, Princess," he said, face back to normal other than the wide grin that was spread across it. He reached out and took her hand in his, bringing it up to his lips and pressing a kiss to it. Robin again mimed puking into her lunch bag, causing the rest of the table to laugh at her antics. Chrissy just flipped her off with a smile.
"Sit and spin, bitch," she said with a grin that Robin returned as she pulled her face from her lunch bag.
Lunch passed by in a blur, and before she knew it she was sitting in the library with Eddie while they started the rough drafts of their English assignments. They had to turn in an outline for it the following Tuesday, and she wanted to make sure that their work was up to par. So far, Eddie had been doing wonderfully in keeping up with her as far as grades went. She had known from the beginning that he could do it if he set his mind to it. The two of them sat in companiable silence as their pens scratched across their notebook paper.
"I really am proud of you for your math test," she whispered to him as they sat together studying, "you should post it on your fridge when you get home so Uncle Wayne can see it."
"Maybe I will," he considered, sending a happy smile her way, "you are literally the best thing to ever happen to me, you know that?"
"Oh stop," she whispered bashfully, lightly tapping at his arm, "you had it in you all along. I just helped you to find it."
He leaned forward and pressed a kiss to her lips, which she quite happily returned before a throat clearing pulled them apart. They glanced up and saw the librarian glaring at them warningly from her desk and shaking her head at them. They mouthed sorry to her and she sent back a half smile as they put their heads down and continued to work until the bell rang. They stopped at the doors of the library for a quick kiss and a lingering hug before they split off to go to their last class of the day.
After school, she met him at his locker and they walked hand in hand out to his van in the parking lot, after making a pit stop in the front office so she could pick up her note for Beth and John to sign. She was nervous to tell them that night what had happened, and kind of hoped they would already be asleep when she got home from hellfire, that way she could put if off until the morning.
Pretty much as soon as they got into his trailer, Eddie made a beeline for the fridge, pulling out his math test and proudly displaying it smack dab in the middle of the fridge. He turned and looked at her with pride shining in his eyes. She felt a jolt in her stomach at the look on his face. He prowled towards her and leaned down to press their lips together in a kiss that quickly became heated. One of his hands rested on the swell of her ass, while the other trailed up her chest to squeeze at her breasts. She moaned into his mouth.
"Babe," she whispered in between kisses, "Is your uncle already at work for the day?"
"Yeah," he said as he trailed his lips down her neck and started sucking on her pulse point, causing her to let out a groan. ",but I don't really want to talk about him, do you?"
"No," she said as her head tilted back to allow him better access to her neck, "but I want to show you how proud I am of how you are doing in school. Follow me."
She grabbed his hand and practically dragged him into his room, slamming the door shut behind her. Oops, I just broke the number one rule. She was had him pulled down into a kiss as she walked him back towards his bed and pushed him down so he was sitting on it. He was staring at her in a mixture of arousal and amusement as he wondered what was going through her mind. She bent over him to give him a mind numbing kiss, as her hands started fumbling with his belt buckle, which was quickly loosened and discarded.
"Off," she muttered as she tugged the zipper of his jeans down. His eyes were lust blown as he hurriedly stood and dropped his pants down to his ankles. She tugged at his boxers, which quickly joined his jeans at his ankles and pushed him back down onto the bed. She took a look at him in all his glory and felt herself salivating at the sight. God, he's so much bigger than I've seen before. She looked into his eyes as she dropped to her knees in front of him and started sliding her palms up and down his thighs. He was looking at her in shock as she leaned forward and pressed a kiss to his inner thigh, following the trail up that her hands were making.
"God, Chris," He groaned as her hair tickled against his exposed cock. She looked up at him with a satisfied smirk.
"God has nothing to do with this," she said in a sultry voice, before leaning forward and licking the tip of his penis. She leant forward more on her knees to get better access, and moved her face down towards the his base, as she left soft kisses up his shaft. His legs were quaking on either side of her head, and she felt powerful. She looked back into his eyes as she gripped the base of his cock and slid her mouth down as far as she could. His eyes practically rolled back in his head as he felt the wet warmth envelope him. One of his hand's immediately flew to tangle in Chrissy's hair as she went to work, bobbing up and down on his shaft, her hand massaging where she couldn't get further down. The only sounds in the room was his gasping light moans and the sound of her sucking him off.
"Fuck, Princess," he moaned as his hand tightened in her hair. "I'm about to cum."
She redoubled her efforts, bobbing her head and jacking him off faster. She knew he was cumming when she felt his shaft swell impossibly bigger and he released a loud moan causing her to move her mouth back up to his tip to catch it in her mouth, swallowing every last bit.
"Holy fuck," he muttered brokenly as he stared down at her on her knees in front of him. She pulled off of him with a final pop and moved back to straddle his hips. She was so turned on, she felt like she almost came when he did. She moved her hand to the base of his skull, gripping his hair and pulling his head up to face her so she could devour his lips. He could taste himself on her, but found that it didn't disgust him like he maybe would have thought. He groaned as he felt himself twitch, almost becoming hard again and pulled her hips down towards his to try and give her some friction.
"Princess," he mumbled in between hungry kisses, "can I eat you out?"
"Fuck, yes," She groaned against his lips and stood to toe off her shoes and pulled her jeans off, leaving them in a pile on his floor. She stood in front of him in her Hellfire shirt and a pair of black panties that she slowly slid down her hips finally revealing herself to him in full. He gasped as he took in her beauty and pulled her towards him pressing a soft kiss against her abdomen.
"Lay on the bed," he ordered as he stood up to fix his own clothing, sliding the belt back into his loops before turning to look at her again, laid on his bed with her legs spread eagle for him. He climbed up over her and pressed a few sloppy kisses to her mouth before he started kissing down her body, sliding her shirt up over her breasts and kissing in between them, taking a moment to leave a large hickey there before kissing down her abdomen and slipping his tongue into her belly button briefly while he continued his trek downward. He lifted her legs to go slightly over his shoulders and moved to kiss her thighs on either side of his head, as an after thought he removed his rings and set them next to her on the bed before he slid his first finger up into her wet channel. She groaned and bore down on it, looking at him with heavily lidded eyes before he parted her lips with his other hand and swiped his tongue up her crease.
"Shit, Eddie," she groaned as one of her hands grabbed his headboard and the other slid into his hair to help direct his face. She groaned again as he started sucking at her clit, licking his tongue against it after every few sucks of his lips before he finally just started flicking his tongue over it as he added a second finger inside of her. She was right about his tongue being able to do amazing things to her anatomy. She was moaning loudly and calling his name as he eventually pulled his fingers from her and moved his mouth down to stick his tongue inside of her instead. He started rubbing at her clit, while he swirled his tongue inside of her, sucking at her every few strokes. She could feel the heat growing in her stomach and let out a particularly loud howl as her whole body seized. Her legs clamped down on his head and held him in place. His tongue fucked into her as she gyrated against his mouth a few times before her body relaxed, letting him pull away from her center.
He surged up to kiss her furiously as his hands trailed up and down her body, showing the worship that he felt for her.
"God," she groaned in between sultry kisses, "I knew you would be fantastic at that. I love you so much."
She froze as she realized what she had just admitted, and he pulled back from her to stare down at her in shock. His eyes were warm and filled with an emotion that she was pretty sure she understood.
"I love you, too," He whispered quietly, as he leaned down to press his lips softly against hers, "I have for a while now, but was kind of scared to say it because I didn't want to scare you off."
"God, we're so alike sometimes it's scary," she muttered against his lips. "I was scared I would scare you off if I told you. I didn't want to seem like a clingy girlfriend."
"I like clingy," he joked as he leaned back in for another slow, sensual kiss.
"I guess I must, too," she said with a giggle. The two of them eventually got up and she put her clothes back on before heading out to the living room to work on their homework. They took frequent breaks to make out, and kept staring at each other with doe eyes.
"Hey," Eddie said at one point after staring at her for a few minutes. She had loved feeling his eyes on her. She looked up to meet his eyes, and he grinned softly at her, "I love you."
"I love you, too," she said back to him. She didn't think the novelty of being able to say that to him now was ever going to wear off.
Later the two of them walked into the theater room together to start setting everything up for Hellfire club. He had rolled out a map of the dungeon they were currently exploring and put dark clothes over the rooms that hadn't been explored yet. She knew he had planned for there to be some combat, so she spent time reorienting herself with her arcane tricksters spells. He gave her a conspiratorial wink, and continued sorting through his various mini's. By the time everyone else joined them, they had everything set up and she felt prepared for session.
"Don't touch the chest," Dustin yelled out at her later in frustration, "it could be a mimic."
"But… there could be shiny things inside," Chrissy said in River's fake English accent. "What if it isn't a mimic and we miss out on the possible loot inside? River tries to open the chest."
There were groans from Dustin and Mike, as they knew all too well that Eddie liked to hid mimics all throughout his dungeons. Her boyfriend looked at her with a small smirk on his face.
"You should have listened to him, Princess," he joked as he slid his hand up her thigh under the table. "because it's a MIMIC. Everyone roll for initiative."
"I'm sorry mates," Chrissy stated with a giggle, "I really wanted the treasure inside."
"It's fine," Dustin said with a laugh, "we all know how River is."
The battle against the mimic was short lived, but the next room they went into had an army of undead soldiers that they had had to fight off. That one was more of a challenge and Eddie was in his element as he hissed and groaned, making the sounds of the undead.
"Will, cast fireball," Lucas shouted at one point. "it could take out more than one of them."
"Fireball," Will shouted as he threw down his D20, and it rolled and landed on a crit hit. "Yes!"
"I'm going to need everyone to roll a dexterity saving throw, since Will the Wise just cast fireball in a 20 by 20 room. Everyone groaned as they realized the mistake, causing Eddie to release what some may have said was a cackle. Everyone but Justin passed the dex saving throw, taking half damage. Justin ended up being knocked prone and having to do his death saves.
"Nice one, Will the Wise," He joked with an eye roll.
"I'm so sorry," Will laughed as he brushed his bangs out of his face. "I should have thought to ask how big the room was before casting it.
"It's okay, man," everyone assured him.
In the end they did end up killing off all of the undead and Chrissy clapped in joy, as the session ended for that night. She always had so much fun with this club. She was so glad that she had decided to join up with them. What else would she be doing on a Friday night?
After she stayed and helped Eddie clean up, which took longer than usual since they kept stopping to kiss, they headed out to his van so that he could drop her off at home. They chatted about that nights session the whole way home, him chuckling as he talked about Will's blunder.
"I had so much fun tonight," She told him as he parked in front of her house. "I wish the night didn't have to end. Thanks for letting me join Hellfire."
"Of course I was going to let you join," He told her with a laugh, "what kind of boyfriend would I be if I didn't let my girl join the coolest club in Hawkins High?"
"A pretty bad boyfriend," she teased him leaning over to press a kiss against his cheek. "but luckily for me you're the best boyfriend in the world."
"I don't know if I'd go that far," He stated back, grabbing her hand and rubbing his thumbs against her knuckles. She loved how he did that, it always seemed so tender and loving.
"You definitely are," she argued sternly, "you treat me with respect and love and I don't know where I would be without you. Probably still puking up my guts every day in the girls bathroom after lunch and having horrible, mind-numbingly boring sex with Jason."
She shuddered after saying that as the visual image that produced made her want to gag. She saw him shudder next to her and smiled up into his big brown eyes. He leaned forward in the seat and gave her a loving kiss that stayed gentle throughout. She didn't need his words to understand that he loved her, but it was still nice.
"I love you, Princess," he said, pulling back from her a moment later and brushing his thumb against her cheek as he stared deeply into her eyes. His eyes were so expressive, she could see the love he said he had for her shining through and it made her tear up slightly. "Hey, what's wrong?"
"I just love you so much," she whispered, leaning forward to press their foreheads together while his thumb remained brushing her cheek. His other hand lifted to brush a strand of hair behind her ear as he pressed his mouth forward into hers again. They sat there kissing for what felt like hours and were interrupted by a knock on the window. Why do we keep getting interrupted? She glanced out the window and saw Robin looking at her in amusement.
"Are you going to come in, or are you planning on staying out here all night," The other girl asked her as Steve drove off, waving a quick hello to Eddie as he passed them. Chrissy rolled her eyes at Robin and turned to give Eddie one final kiss on the lips before opening the door. Robin stepped forward, handing a paper to Eddie and telling him it was an application she had picked up for him at Family Video. He took it gratefully thanking her profusely.
"Hey its no problem," Robin assured him with a smile. "Are you coming in?"
"Yeah," she said turning to look at Eddie again, "goodnight, babe. I'll see you tomorrow."
"Night Princess," he told her, sending a quick look to Robin before adding, "I love you."
"Love you, too," she practically gushed. Robin squealed loudly about how cute it was that they were saying that to one another as the two of them made their way into the house.
"Do you think Ma and Pop are still up," Chrissy asked as nervousness gathered in the pit of her stomach.
"Pretty sure they are since the lights are all still on," Robin said, slinging an arm over her shoulder as they neared the front door, "why, are you nervous to tell them about school today?"
"Yeah," Chrissy told her as Robin twisted the front door handle, "I just don't want them to regret taking me in."
"Yeah, like that'll ever happen," Robin assured her, "Mom and dad love you. I think if they could they would officially adopt you into the family. Yeah, they'll be upset, but they aren't going to crucify you."
"Hey girls," Beth's voice came from the couch as the door opened. "have a good day?"
"Yeah, it was alright," Robin said already heading for her room, "I'm going to bed, though, I'm knackered."
"Okay, night sweetheart," John said from beside his wife where they were snuggling on the couch. "How was your day, Chris?"
"umm, well," she said, trailing off awkwardly, "I actually need to talk to you about something that happened today."
She opened her bag and pulled out the letter from the principal, shifting awkwardly before handing it to them.
"I kind of got in trouble at school today," Chrissy told them as they looked over the letter.
"Take a seat," Beth said to her gesturing to the spot that had opened up between them. "Want to tell us your side of what happened?"
"Jason Carver happened," Chrissy said angrily, while looking down at the frayed edges on the hole in her jeans. She couldn't bear to look at them while she told the story, so she fiddled with the frayed ends, "Eddie and I were minding our own business, snuggling by his locker when Jason came over, shoved us and called us freaks. He hurt Eddie and caused him to have a nosebleed and I guess I was just overcome with anger, so I shoved him back and then punched him. I may have cursed at him a bit, too. Principal Higgins saw the whole thing and now I have Saturday detention next Saturday."
"I can't say I'm not a little disappointed in the choices you made today," John said, rubbing a hand up and down her back as tears gathered in her eyes. "You know better than to behave like that. I know you do."
"What should you have done," Beth asked as she grabbed Chrissy's hand to stop her from pulling her jeans apart at the seams.
"I should have ignored him or told a teacher what happened," Chrissy said as a tear broke over and trailed down her cheek. "but I was just so mad and so sick of him and his stupid friends picking on us and I just snapped."
"I know how hard it is to be picked on," Beth told her, "I was teased mercilessly in school growing up, and I get wanting to finally fight back. You're better than that."
"I'm glad you told us what happened," John stated, still rubbing his hand up and down her back, "and I can tell you're upset that you disappointed us, but that doesn't mean that you'll be let off without punishment. You know the rule is if you get in trouble at school, you get in trouble at home."
"Yeah, I know," she practically whispered as she wiped another tear from her cheek.
"You're grounded for a week starting tomorrow," John stated with a stern edge to his voice. "You will go straight to school and come straight home afterwards, so that means you'll have to miss your next club meeting, and you won't be able to hang out with Eddie, either."
"I'm sorry," Chrissy stated weakly, "I didn't mean to lose control."
"I know you didn't, sweetie," Beth said, squeezing her hand, "but you did lose control and have to face the consequences."
"I know that I'm not supposed to hang out with Eddie," Chrissy told them, "but I help him a lot with his homework and we have a school project together that we were assigned today that we really need to work on. Can he please still come over here after school so I can help him?"
She saw the two of them looking at each other over her bowed head, and hoped they would agree to allow her to still help Eddie with homework.
"Fine," John acquiesced, "Eddie can come over after school, but only to work on your assignments. Once homework is done, he will have to go home."
"Okay," Chrissy said, breathing a sigh of relief. "Do you guys still care about me?"
"Oh honey," Beth said, pulling her into a tight hug, "Of course, we do. We love you like you were one of our own children. Just because we're upset with you doesn't mean we stopped caring."
"Family doesn't stop loving one another because one person is slightly upset with the other," John agreed, joining his wife in hugging her. Chrissy broke down in tears.
"Hey, its okay sweetheart," Beth told her giving John a worried look over the top of the girls head.
"I just wish I had had a family like you when I was growing up," she muttered into Beth's neck, "being here now makes me realize what all I missed out on."
"We're here now," John told her as he tightened his hug around her. "We'll be here for you for the rest of your life, if you want us. Just because you're turning 18 soon, doesn't mean we're going to stop caring. You can be one of our lovely daughters for as long as you want."
"Okay," Chrissy agreed as the two continued to hold her until her tears stopped. "I'm sorry I cried all over you."
"It's okay, honey," John told her, continuing to rub his hand up and down her back, "you've had a rough day. We get that."
"I think you should get ready for bed," Beth said pressing a kiss to the top of her head and smoothing down her hair, "I'm sure you must be exhausted."
"I am pretty tired," Chrissy said pulling back from the embrace. She looked at between them in nervousness for a moment, biting her lip, "I love you."
"We love you, too," They stated together, taking turns giving her tight hugs. "why don't you go to bed?"
"Okay," she agreed standing up, then stopping and pausing by the door, "you're not going to take off my bedroom door, are you?"
"No," Beth said as the two of them chuckled, "now go to bed, sweetie."
"Okay, I'm going, I'm going," she said as she made her way out of the living room and down the hall towards her own room. Robin's door was still open and she saw the girl mouthing to her to ask if she was okay. She nodded yes, and continued into the bathroom, brushing through her hair and brushing her teeth before making her way back into her own room and closing the door. She laid down in bed and turned off the lamp and felt a smile making it's way to her lips.
"So this is what a real family feels like," she whispered to herself. Even though she was grounded, she was the happiest she had ever been in her life. She had an amazing boyfriend and a family that really cared about her. She fell asleep that night with the smile still upon her face and slept deeply and without any sort of bad dreams.
AN: I know I said I wasn't going to write anything today, but I started writing this before D&D and couldn't stop myself from finishing it when I got home. Hope everyone had a good day!
