Amber had borrowed a bunch of books from the library, not only that though, but she had also borrowed Desmond. She knew he'd be able to help her find all the best books for stargazing that were available, so she had asked him to tag along. Back in the castle observatory, Amber was looking for a new star to discover, even though the likelihood of that happening seemed pretty low.
Desmond kept busy reading through the books, and letting Amber know of any tips he found. Stuff like, where to point the telescope, which cluster of stars seemed more promising, etc. Amber eventually saw a huge star that she thought would be a great possible candidate.
"Oh Desmond, I think it might've found one!" Amber said with excitement in her voice.
"Great! let's look through the book to see if it's already been discovered," Desmond told Amber, as they both began looking through one of the books to see if they could find it in there. It took some time, but eventually they ended up finding it.
"Oh, unfortunately it's not new, Amber. But it does seem like an interesting star! It says here that it's called the Celestial Wish Star. Sailors used to make wishes on it when they were lost at sea. They thought it would help them find what they were looking for," Desmond explained to Amber as he read from the book.
"Oh that's wonderful!" Amber excitedly answered, she then suggested they make a wish on it.
As she said this, Desmond made a wish in his head as he looked towards the star, wishing that Amber would get all the knowledge and help she would ever need; he wished this not knowing that to Amber, he was that wish being fulfilled.
Amber walked over to the telescope, Desmond followed right behind her, and she looked through it to see the wishing star. She then made a wish, "I wish that we'll be able to find the perfect star!"
Desmond smiled softly; he could see the wish had come true. He really could see the perfect star right in front of him. The perfect star to him was Amber.
The End.
