"Uh, girls. Uh, a little help here?"

Buttercup's heart started beating uneasily as the villians glared at her, coming closer and closer...

Her sisters were still up, with Blossom not showing a bit of sympathy. And Bubbles smiling as if it was her birthday.

Blossom's voice was as cold as the Arctic. "Sorry Buttercup. You know what they say: An eye for an eye."

"And a tooth for a tooth." Bubbles spat.

Buttercup's eyes widened. Not even she would do this.

No.

They couldn't possible be serious.

This just wasn't true.

But then why were all the villians gathering closer to her until they stood an inch away?

That's when Buttercup felt one of them hitting her stomach.

"Guys, please! HELP ME!!"

Wincing awake, Buttercup grabbed her stomach, it hurt more than ever.

Oh no.

She knew that feeling...

She quickly rushed to the bathroom and puked on the toilet.

She flushed it before it could be obvious and continued with her normal routine, trying to forget her nightmare, but her thoughts still wondered.

Why did she puked?

Was she starting to get sick?

Would it get worse?

Could she die?

Since when was she so paranoid? "Get yourself together, Buttercup." She said, slapping herself. "Ow." She guessed she could now talk, although her voice sounded raspy. The pain by her eye somehow made it's towards her jaw. Which she thought it was all healed now.

How come it still hurt?

"Good morning, Buttercup!" Bubbles said unexpectedly, making Buttercup once again jump. "Oh. Good morning Bubbles."

Her younger sister almost burst with excitement. "Blossom says I'll get a new Teddy Bear! Can we go now? Pretty pretty pretty please?"

"No!"

One minute later...

"Alright, we're here." Buttercup announced. She just wanted to get this over with. She wondered if she'll have time to get ready for the big gathering or whatever in the Mayor's place.

Now, if there was one thing Bubbles couldn't resist apart from cute animals, it was stuffed animals. She was the reason they've already got kicked out from about ten stores.

"Now, we're about to go in into Toy Store Bubbles, a public place. We'll just go in to get you a new toy, nothing else more than the ten dollars I have left. And you will not I repeat, will not use your Sonic Scream. Cause if you do, it'll be the last time you come in here. Understand?" Bubbles nodded viciously, her eyes turning red from the waiting. Buttercup wasn't sure if she could believe her.

Believe in her...

Flashes of hits and blood invaded Buttercup's mind. She trusted her sisters to safe her... but they never came to rescue her from the angry mob of villians.

Shaking the thought away, Buttercup sighed. "Okay, let's go in."

Once inside, Buttercup couldn't help but admire the toys, she was only five after all. "Woah ho-ho." She said, looking at the action figures. She then checked out the skateboards, however, a green one with black stripes got her most attention. 10 it said. It would have been perfect if Bubbles didn't need to have her stupid new plush. She then joined her sister.

As she guessed, Bubbles was in the plush section.

"OHMYGODLOOKATALLTHESECUTE-!!!!"

"Ssshhhhhh," Buttercup whispered, "manners Bubbles, remember?" Bubbles nodded and kept searching. Soon enough, she came back with a stuffed duckling and kitten. "Meet Ducky and Lily." Buttercup then checked the price, it was ten dollars each.

"You can only take one." She said.

Bubbles frowned and came back with a stuffed rabbit and pig. "But what about Mr. Carrots and Puddles? You wouldn't leave them here, would you?"

Buttercup forced herself to remain calm. "If I had enough money," Which I lost thanks to you and Blossom. "I would've taken all of them home with you, but I only have ten now so just decide one."

Bubbles rolled her eyes and put the plushies back in their spo- That was when she found a large, large Teddy Bear. 100 At first, smoke started coming from her nose and ears. Then, she began shaking, next came the familiar, whimpering sounds.

"Don't You Dare." Buttercup's voice has never sounded more serious.

"AaaAAaAaaAaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAA-

10 seconds later...

"You shouldn't have done that!" Buttercup cried, carring Bubbles back to their house. "Let me go!" Bubbles screamed. "I was wrong to bring you here in the first place!" Buttercup shouted. "We're going back home now, and if you think of going back again, i'm gonna make you rethink of everything."

Back home...

Buttercup anglily closed the door to her room. "Last time! Last time!"

Bubbles entered the room. "Buttercup please, i'm sorry for that. Yes. I realise I overreacted."

"Apart from blinding people, you're good at being a nuisance!" That was it for Bubbles, because she began crying. Buttercup sighed and hugged her. "There, there, i'm sorry. You know I didn't mean it Bubbles." She then smiled. "Tell you what? Tomorrow, first thing in the morning, we'll get Octi a new hat." Bubbles stopped crying and hugged Buttercup tighter than she planned. "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!"

Smiling, Bubbles got out of the room.

30 minutes later...

Buttercup nervously approached the Professor as he read a book in the living room, she took a deep breath, and began. "Um, Professor?"

After finishing reading a sentence, Professor Utonium looked up from his book. "Yes, Buttercup?"

"Well, despite being punished, can I still fight crime? You know, for Townsville."

"That's a no, Buttercup."

Buttercup frowned. "Why?"

"First, you are grounded. Second, you're still recovering. It'll be worthless for you to go and fight while you're injured. Blossom and Bubbles will cover for you."

Despite wanting to complain more, she knew it was worthless. She sighed. "All right."

The Professor nodded. "Good," he took a glance at the clock. "now let's get ready, the gathering is gonna start."
