Chapter 8: Ladies Yuki and Mia: daughters of Ra and Slifer

Thirty minutes later, they arrive at the Domino Museum. They only had to wait five more minutes before Marik and Mia pulled up. Yugi ran over to Mia to hug her once she was off the bike. "We were also able to translate some of the records," he added. Ishizu nodded, smiling. She would need to look at those later.
They continued until they came to a dark room. Tea, Yugi, and Atem felt they were back in time to when they first saw the stone tablet. They seem very happy. "Here, these are the two portraits I was talking about," Jacques said, pointing to two portraits at the end of the room.
The one on the right was of a young girl sitting on the ledge looking out the Nile River with tri-color hair which fell like a waterfall past her shoulder. She wore the same dress only in gold and was a two-piece with the slits going slightly higher than Lady Yuki's. she also had no shoes and gold ankle bracelets. She had the Winged Dragon of Ra behind her. The gold plaque read: Lady Mia Rai, Guardian of the Ishtar family, daughter of the Winged Dragon of Ra.
Everyone had to do a double take between the portraits and Yugi and Mia. "keep in mind, there are more portraits in our restoration room since they had arrived slightly damaged." Jacques said, looking over his records on his tablet, utterly oblivious to what was happening around him. "Jacques, will you be a dear and see about those portraits for us. We want a few moments in private." Ishizu said, trying to get him out so they could talk freely. He nodded and walked out, closing the door behind him. once he left, no one knew what to say. "I don't know. I can't remember." He said, trying to force his mind to remember. Joey then noticed the portrait started to glow. "Hey guys, what going on?" he asked as a massive wind picked up and pulled all of them into the picture.
When they opened their eyes, they found themselves in the throne room of ancient Egypt. "what just happened?" Tea asked, looking around. "I think the portrait wanted to answer Atem's question. Our soul fathers, Slifer, Ra, and Obelisk, seal him away in a stone coffin shortly after that day many miles away. I don't know how you escaped, but I won't let you hurt the royal family of Egypt. Mia!" she said.
