Chapter 10:
Siblings are back together.
Grandpa and Aknamkanon went to check in at the Game shop. To see if anything needed to be ordered. Seto, Seth, and Mokuba went to check in at Kaibacorp. Mahad, Isis, and Mana went to the park to picnic as a small family. Joey, Tea, and Tristen wanted to check in with their family. Mia and Marik decide to take a motorcycle ride along the city border. Yugi and Atem were left on their own. Yugi found a street fair in town, so they decided to make it a date. Yugi was wearing a Holter baby blue top with a long white flowy skirt. Atem was wearing a loose white button shirt with blue jeans.
There were vendors of all types; they had food, jewelry, arts, and craft. They even had a petting zoo. Yugi was petting a baby goat when she spotted Ryo Bakura. "Hey, Ryo." She said with a smile and ran over to him with Atem following her. "Oh, Yugi, I didn't know you would be here." He said, smiling at her. Ryo looked at Atem, trying to remember where he had seen him before. "is this your brother?" he asked. Yugi shook her head. "Do you remember the spirit of the puzzle? The Pharaoh?" she said cocking her head to one side with a smile. Ryo nodded with recognition. "Ryo, let me officially introduce you to Atem. Formal Pharaoh of Egypt." Yugi said. /the current king of my heart/ she said through the bond. /and you are my Queen of mine/ Atem said back. "pleasure to finally officially meet you." Atem said, holding out a hand.
Ryo looked at him in confusion. "spirit of the puzzle? I thought you went into the afterlife." He said. Atem just wrapped his arms around Yugi's waist. "I couldn't stay away from this one." he said, kissing Yugi's cheek, causing her to blush and giggle. "is…there a chance….anyone else will come back?" Ryo asks, carefully rubbing his arm, feeling very uncomfortable. Both Atem and Yugi looked at Ryo in slight confusion and concern. "I am not sure. Do you remember Dark Marik?" Yugi said. Ryo nodded. "Well turns out he was a girl, and the Egyptian God Ra gave her back her body. she is now called Mia Rai. Why do you ask." Yugi said in concern seeing Ryo's Nervousness. "No reason." He said sadly. Yugi immediately knew something was wrong. She took Ryo's hands into hers. "Ryo, please be honest. Do you want Bakura to come back?" she asked. Ryo looked up at the sky. "there was a time when he wasn't mean to me. He would take care of me when I was sick and hold me when I was sad. He was there when my sister and mother passed away. It was after we met you that he changed. Something about the puzzle brought back some bad memories. He didn't care who was in his way. He just wanted revenge. If I could, I would love to have the nice Bakura back. I loved him." He said, letting a few tears fall. He tries to wipe them away quickly. "I am sorry. I thought I was over it. It's been a hard few years." He said.
Yugi walks close to him, bringing him into a hug. "it's alright, Ryo. It was the same with Marik and me. We felt lost after they left. I am here if you wish to talk." She said. Ryo nodded and returned the hug. "Thanks, Yugi. why is it that your hugs always make people feel better?" He joked. Yugi shrugged. "Say the gang is going to Marik's nightclub, Czar's tonight. Why don't you join us?" she asked. Ryo nodded. "ill meet you there." He said, walking away and waving goodbye.
"Yugi, I am not complaining, but why did you do that?" Atem said with his hands in his pockets. Yugi turned to face him, and her eyes flashed red once again. "Ryo is hurting. Just like Marik and me. I do not know if Bakura would even want to come back. You and Mia did. Ryo needs his friends." Yugi said, wrapping her arms around his neck while Atem wrapped his around her waist. "I needed you, and Marik needed Mia." She added. Atem nodded with understanding. "now that I think of it. I don't recall seeing Bakura in the afterlife. When I asked about him, I was told he was where need to be. Wherever that was." He said. "let's hope he is okay." She said. "Yugi, that is what I love about you. Your care for others. Even our enemies." Atem said, gently pushing her back against a nearby wall. "Someone has to." She said, smiling, knowing what he was doing. "just don't forget to care for yourself," he said as they got closer. Yugi giggled. "that's what I have you for." She said as they started making out against the wall of the pavilion.
A couple of hours later, everyone meets at Seto's mansion to prepare for the club. Grandpa and Aknamkanon decided to sit this trip out and opted to watch a documentary on Egypt. Mana met a boy at the park who asked to see a movie with him. Mokuba was staying the night with a friend.
Atem and Yugi were in their room getting ready. Yugi was in the bathroom with the door partly open, so they could still talk. Atem was putting on his black boots. He also wore his black semi-leather muscle shirt with dark blue pants. He had several light spike bracelets on his wrist. "it feels strange." he said out loud. "what," Yugi said from the bathroom. "I have gone to parties before. Mostly ones where someone was trying to kiss my ass. But this time, I accurately feel excited about tonight." He said, not looking up. Yugi walked out in a red midnight sun sparkle halter top and matching mini skirt. Yugi pulled her hair almost to her tailbone into two pigtails with a couple of beads in two strains of hair. She left her bangs to frame her face. She wore light makeup that consisted of eyes shadow, eyeliner, and creamy red lipstick with gloss.
When Atem looked at her, he thought he was looking at a goddess. "Damn. I know you thought Yuki was more beautiful than you, but babe, she got nothing on you." He said, knowing about Yugi's self-esteem issues. Yugi blushed at his words. "in fact, do we have to go to the club?" Atem flirted as Yugi walked over to him, squeezing her ass. Yugi giggled as she playfully swatted his hand away. "Down, boy. Maybe later." She said, kissing his cheek. She sat down on the bed to put on her gold strap dancing shoes. She loved the fact Atem could reassure her like this. Although she is getting better, she still has problems with her self-esteem. After her shoes were on, Atem gently pushed her down onto her back on the bed. "Are you sure?" he said, giving her little kisses on her neck. "Atem," Yugi laughed as she rolled away from him. She started walking out of the room with her hips shaking a bit. Atem was laughing as he chased after her.
Everyone was waiting in the living room wearing their best clubbing outfit. All were looking hot. Mia saw Atem and Yugi enter the room, chasing after each other. "Save some of the sexual energy for the club, Yugi," She teased as Atem caught Yugi around the waist and kissed her neck. They sat next to her and Marik, who was on the phone. Mia's outfit was similar to Yugi's, only more revealing in the chest area as it was low cut and had a slit in the side of the skirt that when up to her hip. Her back was also more exposed, showing off her Ra Tattoo. Yug stuck her tongue out at her with a smile. "are we all ready to go?" she asked. Marik snapped his phone shut. He had called his bouncer to get his VIP Box ready for them. "slightly change of plan." He said. Yugi cock her head to one side, which with the pigtail made it ten times cuter. "what's wrong, Marik" she said.
Marik had to blink and shake her head. "two things. 1) Yugi, Stop that. You are too cute whenever you cock your head to one side with your facial expression. You remind me of a puppy." He said, glaring at her. Yugi just giggled and gave him an innocent 'who me?' look. Everyone agrees with Marik's commitment. "second, I thought I was going to have a live band tonight, but it's a Dj instead. He's good; I have used him before. He plays a little bit of everything. However, it is also Karaoke night. About two years ago, the staff insisted that we host karaoke nights monthly. So be prepared to hear some good singers and some not-so-good singers. Especially after a few rounds of drinks." He said, thinking of the last time they had karaoke night.
Everyone nodded. "Cool, maybe we can Yugi up on stage again?" Tea said, wearing a one-shoulder black mini dress with a gold belt and black dancing shoes. "no, no, and no, Tea." Yugi said, shaking her head. "oh, come on, Yugi. you were so good in the choir at school." She said, trying to talk Yugi into it. Yugi stood up and placed both of her hands on her hips. Everyone agreed secretly it only made Yugi look cute. "In case you forgot. I had one solo the whole time I was in choir and fainted during the performance. If you all don't remember, I nearly had a panic attack during the KC grand tournament because someone refused to help me." She said, glaring at Atem. He just smirked at her. "I don't know, Yugi. I think I wouldn't mind hearing you sing." He said, giving her a wink. Yugi sighed annoyingly. "ill think about it. okay." She said.
"Let's get going," Seto said, enjoying watching Yugi's antic. They all climbed into Seto's limo and headed to the club. "oh, by the way. Atem and I saw Ryo today while at the fair." She said. "what is that brit up to?" Joey asked. "He seemed slightly down, so I invited him to go with us. He said he would meet us there." Yugi said, sitting on Atem's lap. Marik sent a text to the bouncer to take Ryo to the VIP. "cool, it will be nice to see that white hair bastard again." Joey said. Yugi raises an eyebrow. "Joey, did you already start drinking?" she asked with a smile. Joey only cusses when he is buzzed or drunk. "Nope," he lied. "Yes, he did," Tristen said, smiling. Yugi just shook her head. 'it's going to be a fun night."
Thirty minutes later, they made it to Czar's. Loud music was playing, but it wasn't deafening. The whole place was lit up with neon light. Not too bright but enough that they could see what you were doing. Marik showed up at his VIP box, which looked over the dance floor and had a clear view of the stage. "This place is jumping," Joey said, moving with the music as they walked up the stairs. Marik point to the ceiling. "See those square vent-looking things; they are music absorbers. They absorb the extra base of the music without distorting the sound. So, we can still hear great music without being deafened by it, and it makes it easy to have conversations." he explained. Everyone nodded with understanding.
Ryo was waiting for them in the booth. The booth was large enough to fit all of them comfortably. "Hey, Ryo, waiting long?" Yugi said. He was wearing a white knitted tight sleeveless shirt, which showed off his abs which no one knew he had, with black pants and a silver belt. He also had a dark blue open vest over his shirt. "not long." He said. "Damn, Ryo, you are looking good. Who knew there was a god's body under those baggy clothes." Tea said as she looked Ryo over. Ryo blushed. "thanks, Tea. I normally wouldn't dress like this, but I wanted to tonight. Just felt like taking a risk." He said.
Mia walked up behind Marik, saw Ryo, and immediately got nervous. "Hello, Ryo." She said. Ryo looked over at her. At first, he didn't know who she was but looked at Marik and then back at Mia. "You are Mia. You were the Dark Marik." He said. Everyone looked between them, feeling like time was standing still. Mia nodded, trying to fight the urge to turn and run. "but you not now. Let's start over." Ryo said as he held out a hand. Mia looked at the hand and back to Ryo before taking it. "Nice to meet you." She said. Everyone let out a breath they didn't know they were holding.
Suddenly a song that Tea knew came on. "Let's dance," she said as she grabbed both Yugi's and Mia's hands, pulling them down to the dance floor. Yugi looked back at Atem, who was smiling. "Are you coming?" she asked. He shook his head. "You go; ill join in a bit," Atem said, leaning against the rail and watching the girls hit the floor. /love you/ he said through the bond. Yugi giggled before replying. /love you too./ she said. He watched her dance with the other girls moving like water so gracefully even though it was a fast song.
Atem heard a chuckle behind him. He turned and saw Mahad sitting in the booth with Isis leaning against him. "what?" he asked. "even with Lady Yuki, I have never seen you this happy and in love." Mahad said, with Isis agreeing with him. Atem turned back to look over the balcony watching Yugi dance with a smile. "Although I did care for Yuki. I find myself falling more and more in love with Yugi. She's my future. She is the reason I came back." He said. Seth walked up next to him, looking down at Yugi. "I agree with Mahad, and I notice something." He said. Atem looked at his cousin. "what's that?" he asked. "I don't think Yugi and Yuki are the same people. Yes, there are subtle similarities between them. They are completely different souls." Seth said as he gently nudged Atem toward the stair. "Go get your girl and never let her go." He added. Atem nodded and headed for the dance floor. It didn't take him long to find her; wrap his arms around her waist and started to dance with her.
After a few songs, Atem and the girls returned to the box, fallow by Ricky, who was bringing ham and cheese sandwiches with coco cola. They agree to meet back up at the game shop for pizza, so they just order finger food. Tea leaned against the railing with coke in her hand, watching the other dances, when she spotted a familiar figure in one of the floor booths. "oh my god." She said, pointing. Everyone got up and looked where she was pointing. In the floor booth, wearing all black clothing, was Bakura. He had his head lying back against the wall and his eyes closed, listening to the music. "What is that creep doing here? I thought we got rid of him." Joey said with a growl.
Ricky looked down to see who they were talking about. "oh, him; he's a regular. He is here most nights. He comes in orders one drink and sits in the same booth. I never had any problems with him. Some of the waitresses tried to ask him out, and he always politely turned them down, stating he doesn't date." He said. Everyone was shaken to hear that. Yugi looked over at Ryo and back to Bakura. 'I wonder,' she thought and started walking down the stair. Atem saw her leave and gently grabbed her hand. She looked back at him. "what are y….?" He began to say, only to be cut off by Yugi's fingers. "trust me," she said. Atem nodded. /keep the mind link open/ he told her over the bond—Yugi smiled. /always/ she replied as she continued over the Bakura.
Yugi stopped before his booth and placed one hand on her hip. "Hello, Bakura." She said. Bakura opened his eyes and lifted his head to see who was talking to him. "oh hey, pipsqueak." He said. Yugi was slightly peeved at the pipsqueak commit but let it slide because it didn't sound like an insult, more like a pet name for a sibling. "what are you doing here? The last time I saw you, you were trying to kill the Pharaoh and take over the world." She said coldly. Bakura stared at her for a minute, trying to decide if he should say anything. He shook his head and patted the seat next to him.
They were all watching this interaction. "should we have let Yugi talk to him?" Tea asked. "he hasn't done anything yet, and I feel that Yugi has a theory." Atem said, watching intensely. He also heard the pipsqueak commit but agreed with Yugi; it didn't seem like an insult. "let's trust her for now," he added. 'I hope you're right, Yugi,' he thought.
"Pip?" Bakura said Yugi nodded to him. He ordered two Mr. pips from a passing waitress who brought them quickly. "Why am I here? I don't know. I woke up about six months ago in a hospital bed. They told me I was in a bad accident about four years ago." He said. Yugi thought about that timeline. 4 years ago was when they said goodbye to Atem after the ceremony dual. She secretly looked up at Atem, who nodded, letting her know he was listening. "when I first woke up, it was like I was living in a fog that had finally lifted. I realize my quest for revenge had cost me the only person I loved." Bakura said, trying to fight against the tears that threatened to come. He wasn't a crier. "Ryo," Yugi said, answering the unspoken question. "I never told him. He meant so much to me, and I threw him away for what. Nothing." He said as he shook his head. "why don't you tell him now?" she asked, placing a hand on his knee. "two reasons. 1)I don't even know where Ryo is now, and 2) I don't think he would give me a chance." He said, placing his head in his hands. Why was he telling the Pharaoh's light this? Something about Yugi made Bakura want to open up to her as if she was a friend. He mentally laughed at himself. He doesn't have friends.
Yugi just smiled. "Bakura, I can help with one of those things. Look up." She said, pointing to the VIP Box. Bakura looked up to where Yugi was pointing and saw Ryo, his light. They lock eyes. Almost immediately, Bakura started to shake in fear. Looking between them, Yugi got an idea. "I think I know of a way you can tell him how you feel." She said. Bakura looked at Yugi with almost pleading eyes. She whispered something in his ear and pointed to the stage. "Go fight for him. I'll take care of Ryo." She said as she walked over to the DJ in charge of the karaoke. She talked to him, who nodded and handed her a mic. Yugi looked up at Ryo and gave him a 'come here' finger. Ryo met her at the bottom of the stair near the stage. She placed a mic in his hand and winked before handing back up to the VIP Box. Everyone was staring at her. "Yugi, what are you doing?" Joey asked, significantly confused. "correcting a wrong." Yugi said, smiling as she stood next to Atem, sliding her arm around his elbow. Atem placed a hand on her hand. "I hope your right." He said.
The DJ stopped the music, causing everyone to look at the stage. "Okay, folks, it looks like we have the first singer of our Karaoke night. Give it up for Bakura Tano!" everyone clapped. Bakura took a deep breath before going on stage, and the music started.

Everyone screamed for them. Bakura embraced Ryo tightly, repeatedly repeating, "I'm sorry" into his shoulder. Ryo gently pushed him back to look into his eyes. "Bakura, kiss me before I lose my nerve." He said with a smile. Bakura gently kissed Ryo with all his heart. Another wave of good energy came over everyone. The gang look at each other. "You all felt that, right?" Joey asked. Everyone nodded except for Yugi and Mia, watching Bakura and Ryo with colossal smiles. They didn't notice that Mia's Ra tattoo and a tattoo on Yugi's hip that looked like Slifer was glowing. Everyone agreed to talk about it when they got to the shop.
The audience started screaming and catcalling the new couple. Ryo blushed as he led Bakura to the VIP Box. Once there, Bakura kept his head as he faced Atem, who took a stance of a pharaoh of Egypt—standing tall and imposing. /Be nice/ Yugi sent him through the bond. Atem mentally rolled his eyes at her. "Bakura, ill forgive you for what you have done on one condition." He said. Bakura looked at him with scared eyes. Atem had the right to ask anything of him; as long it didn't take Bakura away from Ryo, he would do anything the formal Pharaoh asked of him. "Yes, my Pharaoh?" Bakura said, trying to keep the fear out of his voice. "never hurt, mentally or physically, Ryo or any of his friends." Atem said. Bakura released the breath he was unknowing hold. "Understood." He said, bowing before sitting down in the booth with Ryo in his lap.
Yugi walked up to Atem with love in her eyes. Atem pushed a loose strain of hair behind her hair, cupping her cheek. "how did you know?" he asked. Yugi kisses his palm. "intuition." She said. If she was honest, Yugi didn't know how she knew about Bakura and Mia; she just did. "I love you, Aibou," Atem said, placing a sweet kiss on her lips. "I love you too, Yami." She said.
Tea cleared her voice. "Yugi, are you going to get up there?" she said, pointing to the stage where a drunk was singing badly off-key. "I told you no, Tea," Yugi said, glaring at her. Everyone was trying to encourage Yugi to get up on that stage. "Come on. You can sing that song you sang in the 7th grade. It was good." Joey said. Tristen and Tea agree that the song would be perfect. Yugi knew what song they meant. She looked at Atem, who gave her an encouraging smile. "Fine, If I bomb, all three are dead." She said, walking down to the stage—Tristen and Joey high-five each. At the same time, Tea looked pleased with herself.
"We have a next singer, everyone, and I got a real treat for you. It's the reigning Queen of Games, Yugi Moto." Everyone screamed when they heard that.

Yugi looked at Atem the whole time. As she exited the stage and returned to the VIP box, people told her how good she was. "I bet you love that, didn't you, you whore." Someone said with a voice that made Yugi freeze. She turns to see Rex Raptor. Yugi wasn't expected to see him. She thought he was in jail. "What are you doing here, Raptor?" she said. "I just thought I would give you a second chance to go out with me." He said, looking lustfully over Yugi's body. The way he was talking made Yugi feel highly uncomfortable. /Atem, Rex Raptor is here./ she sent over the bond. She immediately felt his anger and concern for her. /we are coming. Keep him occupied/ he said. Atem told the others, and they ran down the stair to Yugi. For some reason, everyone had moved away from them as if they knew something would go down.
"Fat chance. I am in a relationship with someone who loves me for me, not by my body. Besides, you are supposed to be in jail for attempted rape and assault along with others charges." Yugi said in a way she didn't know she could muster. 'I made bail. The courts know you lied, and soon they will drop those bogus charges." He said, making it seem like he was the victim. "but ill forgive you if you date me." He added. Atem came up behind Yugi along with the rest of the gang. "Never." She said. She looked behind her and saw Atem and her friends standing with her. she could feel their support and strength.
Suddenly a thought came to Yugi. an idea that she wasn't sure if it would work. "alright, Rex, ill make you a deal." Everyone wondered what Yugi was thinking. "we have a dual right here and now. If you win, ill have the cops drop the charges and go out on a date with you." She said. "Yugi, you can't be serious," Joey said. Everyone was thinking the same thing. "But if you lose not only, do you leave me alone. You pled guilty to every charge." Yugi said strongly. Rex thought about it for a second. "You're on. don't worry; I'll take you somewhere nicer than this dump." He said, grinning evilly. Yugi placed a bracelet from her pocket on her wriest, activating it, and a dual dish formed around her arm. The latest way of dueling from Kaibacorp. Rex put the same one on his wriest as well.
Mia walked over to Yugi. "Yugi, wait. Take this," she said, handing Yugi her Ra's daughter card. "and this too" Bakura gave her another card. It was of a soldier now white hair, dressed in blue with Obelisk, the tormentor behind him. "it was with me when I woke up in the hospital." He said. Yugi looked at them both before nodding. She put both cards in her deck and shuffled. "let's do this, Rex." She said. They both started with 4000 life points.
Rex opens the floor with Black Tyranno (attack 2600 defense 1800) and two face-downs.
Yugi started with Dark magician girl(attack 2000 defense 1700) and a face-down trap card.
Rex tried to attack the Dark magician girl, but Yugi activated her face-down magic card, magical hats, which hid the Dark magician girl—keeping her and Yugi's life points safe.
Rex pulled a card from his deck and played dino soldier (attack 1000 defense 500). He also played Dino strength. For every dino rex played, his Black Tyranno will gain 500 points. So Tyranno's points go to 3100. He attacked again, missing again.
Yugi placed another trap card in one of the two remaining hats and played summoned skull (attack 2500 defense 1200) in defense mode.
Rex attacked the hats a three-time only to active Yugi's trap card spellbinding circle traping Black Tyranno. Yugi attacked with her summoned skull on the dino soldier. She also played giant trunade to get rid of Dino's strength which drops Black tyranno back to 2600.
Rex life point drop to 2500
Rex played sacrificed Black tyranno to summon Dino king (attack 3000 defense 2500) attach both dark magician girl and Summoned skull.
Yugi life point drop to 2500
Rex attacked Yugi directly, but Yugi played emergency provisions, giving her 1000 extra life points.
Yugi life points went to 500
Yugi started to worry. She had no monsters, and Dino king was preparing for another attack. 'Yugi, look at your hand,' a voice that wasn't Atem said in her head. She looked down and saw both cards given to her by Mia and Bakura. 'play pot of greed," which allowed her to draw two cards. One was called Slifer's daughter, and the other was 3xs, a multiplication magic card in her hand was Kuriboh, who seemed to encourage her to play him. She mentally nodded, knowing what to do.
First, she played Kuriboh(attack 300 defense 200) in attach mode.
A move that made everyone scratch their heads. Rex thought Yugi had given up. He started laughing. But everyone noticed the look in Yugi's now bright red eyes. It was like they were on fire. "I am not done, Rex." She said in a voice that scared everyone.
She played 3xs, multiplying Kuriboh by three times, creating nine monsters.
She sacrificed all nine monsters to Summon Ra's Daughter (attack 3500 defense 2500), Silver's daughter (attack 3500 defense 2500), and Obelisk's son (attack 3500 defense 2500).
"hey, check that out. Those three monsters like Yugi, Mia, and Bakura." Tea said, and then everyone saw that. Atem also saw both Mia and Bakura had moved to each side of Yugi. They were standing behind each monster. "guys, look at Mia's back," Isis said, pointing to Mia. Her back was glowing. Suddenly Marik's back burned, and a blue light shot out and went to Bakura. Suddenly there was a tattoo of Obelisk on his neck, glowing. The Tatoo on Yugi's hip was gleaming at well. All three of their eyes were also alit with power. Red for Yugi, Gold for Mai, and Blue for Bakura. "You should have thought twice to mess with us, Rex." They say in perfect union.
The monsters combine their power into one attack, destroying Dino king and wiping out Rex's life points.
Once the dual was over, all the glowing stop, and Yugi, Mia, and Bakura fell to the floor. Seto had called the police before the dual started and found that rex didn't get bailed out; he had escaped. They had shown up right at the end of the dual. "remember our deal, Rex. Plead guilty and leave me alone." Yugi said, exhausted. Atem ran to her just as she passed out. Mia and Bakura were already out. Seto called his private ambulance service to take them back to the mansion.
Once, they were resting in their beds. The gang was sitting in the living room. Atem had called grandpa and his father and told him what had happened. They came right over. "what the hell was all of that?" Joey ask. No one had the answers. "This started after we can back from the afterlife," Atem said. He told him of another time he was Yugi's eyes glowing red. "what about the wave of energy we been feeling." Isis asked, knowing they must be involved somehow. Aknamkanon thought for a moment. "Maybe I know," he said. Everyone looked at him. "There was a prophecy I heard when I was a boy. When my father, Atem's grandfather, pharaoh anakinra rule over Eygpt." He said

"I never understood what it meant. Now I think it means those three." Aknamkanon said. "I don't think so," someone said. Everyone looked up and saw Yugi, Mia, and Baker. All three look like hell. They slow walk over to their respective lovers. "what do you mean?" Isis ask. "Why would it happen now. What Darkness is it talking about." Yugi said, leaning against Atem, who was rubbing her arm up and down. Atem could feel Yugi's tiredness in her voice. "what happened earlier? I don't know if it's good or bad." She said. "What did happen? From your side, Yugi. in my years of playing the game, I have never heard of those three cards you played." Grandpa said. "I was trying to think of a way to defeat Rex's Dino king quickly. I am not even sure why I agree to dual him. Something told me to. It was the same thing that told me about Mia and Bakura. A voice came to me in my head and told me what to do. When all three monsters were on the field, I felt something taking me over." Yugi said. "controlling our every move." Mia said. "like we were prisoners in our bodies." Bakura said. "Everything went black. The next thing I knew, rex had lost, and I woke up in Atem's arms." Yugi said. "there is one thing that I can't shake." She added. Atem gently squeezed her. Isis came over and ran her hand over each one trying to give back some energy. "what's that Yugi." she said. "I think it has something to do with Yuki." She said. Everyone widened their eyes at her. "what do you mean?" Mahad asked.
Yugi looked at her friends, Joey, Tea, and Tristen. "do you find it funny. We work our asses off to get Atem's memories back, to return him to his final resting place. Only to find out there are still missing memories out there." She said. "Yugi, I thought we agreed that was because of my spell messing up," Mahad said. Yugi jumped up. "I don't think it was your spell. I think the gods did something. It has something to do with her. Lady Yuki. I won't answer, and I want them now." Yugi yelled, hitting the coffee table. No one has ever seen Yugi this fire up. "what are you going to do, Yugi? it's not like you summon the Egyptian gods." Joey said. Yugi stared at Joey briefly before walking out of the living room. Everyone looked at each other before following her.
Yugi went outside to the Sakura tree. She closed her eyes and focused on her breath. Suddenly the wind picked up, the sky became dark and cloudy, and all the titi touches and fire pits that were not lit came to life. There was a clash of lighting then standing before them were the three Egyptian Gods—Slifer the sky dragon, the winged dragon of Ra, and Obelisk, the tormentor. Everyone stood with their mouth open. "why have you summon us, young one" Slifer said. Everyone was shocked to hear him speak. "I want to know why you three mess with Atem's and his family's memories." She said. "little one, you don't…."Ra, try to speak. "I know you did," Yugi said defiantly. Ra took a step back as if he was pushed by force. "you need to calm down," Obelisk demanded angrily. "Silent brother!" Slifer said firmly before turning back to Yugi, who was slightly red face both in anger and exhaustion. "my Princess, there are some things are not meant to know right now. They must be relieved in due time." He said. "Like lady Yuki. Earlier, when we last spoke, you acted like you knew her personality." She said.
Everyone was wondering when did she spoke to Slifer. Slifer came down to Yugi's level, meeting her eyes. "the same way I know you. Princess Yugi. I have seen your soul many times since the beginning. I have seen your rise and fall: love and loss. I have seen your death by others and by your hand. There are things you will learn soon. Be patient; soon, the universe will be balanced once more. Everything will be alright." He said. Yugi bowed her head, letting her anger leave her. Yugi felt stupid for disrespecting them. She felt a hand on her cheek. She slowly looked up and saw the Gods now looked like Royal Humans and Slifer looked like her father, James moto. "we must go now. The Darkness is coming, and you all must know the truth." Slifer said as he removed his hand from her cheek.
"sleep now, for you will need your energy for tomorrow." Ra said, who looked like an older version of Marik a bit; he started to disappear. "yes, all shall be revile." Obelisk said, who looked like an older version of Bakura. And he began to disappear. Slifer smile at Yugi. "Trust yourself and your power. Atem," he said. Atem walked up and bowed to him. "Take care of her, will you?" he asked. Atem nodded as he placed his hands on Yugi's shoulder. Slifer nodded before disappearing as well. Everything around them returned to how they were before the gods arrived.
"So that was a waste of time," Tristen said. Yugi chuckle. "No, Tristen, it wasn't. They are right. Let's get some sleep." She said, taking Atem's hand and walking back into the house. Everyone was confused but followed Yugi's lead and went to bed.
Yugi and Atem went to their room. Atem took a shower as Yugi sat on the bed in her silk pajamas, with a photo album in her lap. "Yugi, are you alright?" he asks with a towel around his waist. Yugi nodded, smiling. She patted the spot next to her, and Atem sat down. "look here," she said, pointing to a picture of herself and her father and mother. Atem immediately noticed her father looked precisely like Slifer. Then Yugi flipped the pages to a much older photo. It's almost the same picture, only much older. "this is my 10x great-grandfather. See the resemblance." She said. Atem could only nod. "I need to see those records that Jacques was talking about, but I am starting to see something." She said, closing the book and getting under the covers. "I think something went wrong centuries ago, and now there is a chance to fix it, but we need more information." Yugi looked at Atem. "we will find out tomorrow." He said, joining her under the cover. She smiled slightly, biting her bottom lip. "but that's tomorrow's problem; why don't we talk about right now?" she said as she climbed on top of Atem, kissing him. Atem knew what she needed; tomorrow could wait. she needed him now. They slowly start touching each other in loving touches.
Either one knew they were being watched outside the window. It was the girl from earlier. "I am starting to think you like watching couples." She looked behind her. In his human form, Slifer was looking at her with his arms crossed. "she getting stronger," the girl said. "all three of them are." Someone said on the other side of the window where two figures were floating. One was a man with snow-white hair and blue eyes with a giant sword on his back. The other was a girl with sandy blonde hair and golden eyes. She was in an outfit similar to the original girl. "it's almost time. He will awake soon. I wish it didn't have to be this way, but…." she said. "if someone did their job the first time." The man glared at Slifer. "don't what's done is done," she said. "are you going revile yourself them. They need to be told." The other girl asked. "after they see the past. They need to understand what happened, or else the future is lost." She answered as she looked back through the window. "Yuki, let go," the man said. The girl, Yuki, nodded and disappeared again, the Slifer and the other two.
