Within the bedroom there was a nightstand.
Built into the nightstand was a drawer.
The drawer contained a pocket watch, the face of which was adorned with the Moon and stars.
The watch was wrapped within the delicate folds of a handkerchief itself decorated with a cartoonish bunny face.
The situation was much the same over in the bed. The handkerchief's owner had her arms wrapped around the watch's master.
Once upon a time, the watch had been broken. Now however, it was happy to tick along until the end of time.
This too, was true of its owner.
A/N: Originally I was thinking of writing this fic for my anniversary anthology, to commemorate the Pocket watch and handkerchief that were such important plot points in the original manga arc of Sailor Moon. When I discovered they did not debut in the same chapter I shelved the idea and did something else. But when i read the prompt for UsaMamo Week Day 2 I dusted it off and wrote it as I figured Usagi and Mamoru in essence lost their respective items and they were consequently found by one another.
