okay, so recently I was on a list of force powers most people don't know about, and I thought of this story idea. Enjoy!

The 212th was under heavy fire. The legion was taking down droids quickly, but there were many of them, and the evac ships were still a good few minutes away. With only around 10 of the 50 men they brought left, they had to retreat. Cody called the order, with Obi-Wan in the front deflecting blaster bolts. As they got behind one of the collapsed buildings, Waxer was the most enthusiastic.

"We're dead meat." He said.

"Not yet. The evacuation ships should be here soon. We just need to hold them off until they-"

An explosion was heard overhead.

"Arrive." Obi-Wan finished.

"There they are!" One of the droids shouted.

Obi-Wan whipped out his lightsaber again, stepping infront of his men to deflect the bolts. Suddenly, he had an idea.

"Cody, hold this for me, will you?" Asked Obi-Wan, handing Cody his still lit lightsaber.

Even with his helmet on, Obi-Wan could tell Cody looked baffled. He still grabbed the lightsaber, deflecting bolts as best he could without the force to help. He didn't have to keep it up for long, however, as the bolts were being deflected by.. something else. Cody looked for Obi-Wan, to see him kneeling with a hand above his head and eyes closed.

Confused clones put away their blasters as they looked at the droids, still shooting at them to no avail. As the evac ship arrived, it crushed the remaining droids who were shooting at them. Obi-Wan got up and started towards the gunship.

"Hurry! More droids are coming!" Obi-Wan said.

The clones hurried onto the gunship, and it took off once all the clones were on board.

"General, if you don't mind me asking," Cody said.

"Go ahead, Cody." Obi-Wan replied.

"What did you do back there to stop the droids from shooting at us?"

"Oh, I put up a force field around us. It isn't an easy thing to do, Jedi only use it it utmost important circumstances."

Cody looked at his brothers, who all looked just as confused as he was. They were never going to understand the force, were they?
