This is short but the end of the Prolouge...

One year later

"Are you sure, Kyuubi?"

Naruto asked as his clone dipped their brush into the bloody ink pot. Gently he felt his body being painted over by his clone, the process itself would take three hours, even with the skills he had cultivated for the last year. Day in and out of constant, hard training. Literally, millions of hours, since he discovered the Shadow clone jutsu could be used for training. He had mastered, in one year, half of the scrolls his mother had written for him.

He was a master of Wave Style Taijutsu, of his mother's personal Dancing Dragon Kenjutsu style, Uzumaki water style complete with fourteen water jutsu, The basics of Wind Style, levels one through four Uzumaki Sealing style ( Seals were hard!), Shushin, Both the basics of his mother's conditioning and father's speed training, and he had read the history of the Village Hidden in the Whirpools. In terms of sheer power and skill, Kyuubi declared him as a Jonin, but he had no experience so they set up a plan...

To use seals and Kyuubi's power to make a far more durable clone then the real Naruto would become a bounty hunter to gain skill, experience and power. He would travel and eventually return to the Leaf when his clone did, revealing his power (In part) to Tsunade and stick it to his shit teacher. He was sure that by that point, with the Shadow clones, he would easily be kage level... in theory anyway.

For now, he had to do his part.

"Yes, brat, you have to do this. It will keep you safe, give you time to train into something fierce, and give you a way to train in my full powers as an ace. Even though half of my power will reside in your clone, keeping it together until you rejoin. Now... hurry up, you do not want Jiraiya to find you."

Naruto shivered at that idea. "No, I do not." The seal was finished as swift as could be, and with that, Naruto the clone ran through his handsigns. "Uzumaki Style- Body Blessed by Yami!" Orange chakra exploded from their shared seals, blocked by powerful seals to prevent Jiraiya from detecting it, and the clone's from shimmered before becoming solid. "That hurt."

"I know... now, remember, you must send back your memories each night to prevent me from getting overloaded when you disperse."

"I know... now go... be off with you, Jiraiya will be awake in like an hour at most."

Standing shakily, Naruto ( the real deal) blasted off, rushing at speeds far exceeding Lee at his peak. He had been training with his father's speed routine, his mother's conditioning routine and the power to heal at super speeds. All that and a good diet made him a speed and strength freak to be admired. He was, according to the Fox, he was about six times faster than Lee.

He was off to his first target, away from their current location near the Land of Rice... and to the far off Land of Tea. Now knowing it's value, he planned on getting the Rajin! With it's power at his disposal, he would have a much easier time if he ended up fighting someone like Orochimaru, or any member of the Akatsuki. He just hoped he could repair it...

And if he fought any missing Ninja or got a bingo book... then all the better! He was sure that there would be missions a plenty, from lowly guard missions to bounties to actual battles to be had. There were dozens of minor villages, there had to be missions for Missing Ninja...

There just had to be...

This was a joy to write. We get a year of combat, training and more... the basics were done off screen since all he did was train... It would have been boring to show just that.
