Kuoh, Land of Demons and Humans.

Ritsuka and Mashu walked together towards the Command Center of the Storm Border, as Da Vinci had called them to inform them of a new discovery of hers. She sounded rather excited about this one, which made the pair curious as to what she found.

Entering the Command Center, Da Vinci turned to them with a smile - "I have discovered a new world!" -

"Slow down please, what did you find?" - Ritsuka said as he and Mash stood behind her.

"I was scanning through the devices of the Storm Border and I came across something that surprised me greatly. It was an entirely new reality, like we had never seen before" - she then pressed a couple of buttons to display a huge hologram of this world - "From what I've seen, in this world, the Age of Humanity and the Age of Gods seems to have merged together" -

"Wait, what? How is that possible in the first place?" - Mashu asked next.

"I don't know, that's why I'm so excited. This is a brand new world like we haven't seen before, a mixture of 2 Ages. From what I've seen, Demons coexist with humans, although they live hidden among them" -

The hologram then changed to a different location, a city in Japan - "This place for instance, Kuoh, is protected by 2 Demon families, the Gremory and Sitri" -

"Gremory? Sitri? Aren't those the names of Demons from…" -

"If you were going to say 'The Ars Goetia', then you're correct Fujimaru Kun. From what I've been able to gather, they use tools called 'Evil Pieces' to turn humans into Demons, then join them in what they call a 'Peerage'" -

"Do you know why they're reviving humans?" - Mashu asked next.

"That, I don't know. That's why I'm sending Fujimaru Kun to investigate this whole thing" -

"Really? Well, there's not much to do right now, things have been rather calm so a little exploration mission would be nice" -

"I knew you'd agreed. But first, we need to make some adjustments to the strategy" - Da Vinci said as she started to walk towards another one of the computers - "You see, the Evil Pieces are based on the common chess pieces, and every Peerage consists of a King, a Queen, 2 Rooks, 2 Knights, 2 Bishops and 8 Pawns. So, for this mission, 15 Servants will go with you, and they'll be your Peerage while there" -

"15 Servants…" -

"I'll give you time to pick them, meanwhile I'm going to be working on some stuff for your mission. Let me know when you're ready" -

Ritsuka and Mashu left the Command Room as the boy was thinking over who to take there. He did have an idea on who would be his Queen, however. Mashu knew as well. As for the rest of the team, he hardly had a choice in the matter, as when it was announced that he'd be taking a team of 14 Servants, a number of them rushed to go with him. He returned half an hour later, with the team decided.

Some were… Less than happy with the position they got.

"Hey, why does Mash get to be the Queen and I'm relegated to a simple Pawn?" - Koyanskaya said in an angry tone.

"Hey, Da Vinci was the one who set up the Pieces, tell her, not me!" - Ritsuka said, defending himself.

"The Pieces hardly matter in the end, they're merely denominations to help you disguise better as a Peerage. And speaking of, I'll need all of you to take this" - she said as she put a small briefcase on a table. Upon opening it, it revealed a set of 16 white chess pieces - "Everyone take the one corresponding to you" -

Upon taking the Pieces, they disappeared in a white glow that entered the bodies of the Servants and Ritsuka, making them confused.

"Those are made to emulate the energy that regular Evil Pieces give out. This to give off the idea that you are a Demon Peerage" - she explained to the rest.

"Managing to make this in so little time… You impress me a lot, Da Vinci" - Ritsuka praised the Rider with a smile.

"I can't take all the credit. After all, I did need help from others. Paracelsus and Edison helped with the designs, and Mephistopheles was a great help to ensure they'd give off Demonic Energy. And to cap things off… Your name will no longer be Ritsuka Fujimaru, for as long as you're in that world, you'll be known as Ritsuka Eligos" -

"Huh? Why?" -

"You're supposed to be a Demon, you can't just go around with your regular name. For that, you'll be given the last name of one of the Demons from the Ars Goetia" -

"And what if we encounter a family with the name Eligos?" - Salter questioned.

"We'll solve that problem when we get to it" -

After that, Da Vinci gave Ritsuka a couple more items for his mission, a communicator for his ear, so they could talk whenever needed and some civilian clothes for him and his Servants to disguise themselves in Kuoh. After everything was done, they prepared to rayshift.

"The first step will be to find a place to settle down Fujimaru Kun. After that, communicate with me and we'll work on the next parts of the plan" -

"Alright, I'm ready Da Vinci" -

"Good luck out there" -

The rayshift started, and Ritsuka was sent with his Servants to Kuoh, with the mission to explore this new world they discovered.

They arrived in a park in the middle of the night, no one was nearby so the Servants could go into their physical bodies without problem. After revealing themselves, Castoria used an illusion to hide Melt's legs and Ibuki's purple skin to make them look human.

"We've arrived safely Da Vinci" - Ritsuka said with the communicator.

"Good work Eligos Kun" - she said before giggling a bit - "Remember the first step, find a place to settle down in" -

"Got it, I'll let you know when we do" -

After cutting communications, the group started to walk around Kuoh not only to find the place where they would live, but also to explore the place before daytime. This city, which was inhabited by both humans and Demons alike, was rather calm during the night, which made the team lower their guards and start talking like normal.

"Reminds me a bit of Shinjuku, but without the gangs and mercenaries with access to magic and Phantasmal Beasts, I like it already" - Ritsuka said.

"Does it remind you of that place? Then, how about we look for a place where we can replicate the dance we had all that time ago?" - Salter said as she approached Ritsuka, but was stopped by Jalter.

"Where do you think you're going?" -

"What, I can't be with my Master? And who are you to stop me anyways?" -

Just as the two were about to start fighting however, they were interrupted by a blood curdling scream in the distance, which caught everyone's attention. It sounded like someone was being killed.

Chaldea's team wanted to see what the scream was for, and as such they quickly made their way to the source of it, an abandoned church. Just as they arrived, they saw a bright red glow come from the inside, lighting the whole place for a few seconds before fading out.

"That was…" -

"Demonic energy. Looks like we found the first hostile Demons of this place" - Vritra said as she summoned her Vajra. The rest of the Servants soon followed with their own weapons, ready to fight if needed.

Out of the church, came a group of 6 individuals, at the front of which was a woman with red hair and a voluptuous body. She saw the group and after seeing them all with their weapons, she started to emit crimson energy from her hands.

"Who are you, and why are you in Gremory territory?" -

Alright, before finishing this first chapter, I need to address something that I'm sure at least some readers will be concerned about.

While I do have a preference for Fate over DxD as a franchise, I'm going to be as impartial as I can when writing this fanfic, I'm not going to be biased towards one side and unfair towards the other, I'll try to be as neutral as I possibly can be.

Also no, Ritsuka won't be getting any girls from the DxD side.
