"I wanna get out of here before Carly comes over her and starts causing drama. I love my cousin but, I don't feel like dealing with her bs right know." Lulu ran a hand over her face, exhausted just by thinking about it.
"Yeah, we can get out of here." Johnny nodded placing an arm around her and heading for the exit.
"Lesley Lu Spencer, where do you think you're going?" Carly shouts from her table with Jax.
"Keep walking." Lulu says to Johnny, not feeling well. At all.
"Leave it." Jax whispered to Carly, knowing his wife could be too much sometimes.
"She doesn't need to be hanging around Johnny Zacchara." Carly argued.
"Who would you rather Lulu hang around, Logan Hayes or Johnny Zacchara? I'm not a fan of Johnny either but, at least he cares what happens to you're cousin. Despite his background, I don't think Johnny has any malicious intent. You need to calm down, date night isn't the time to lose you're shit." Jax calmly says, distracting Carly so that the two could slip out of Jake's without more drama.
"Thank you." Lulu mouthed to Jax, before her and Johnny exited the bar. Johnny led Lulu to his car, opening the passenger door for as she slid in.
"Thank you." She sighs, Logan had never held the door open for her. Like, ever.
"You're welcome." Johnny says, getting into the driver's side and pulling off.
"You're cousin is something else." Johnny noted.
"Oh, don't I know it? I can barely deal with her sometimes. I love her though, I know she means well." Lulu runs a hand through her blonde hair, going into her purse for her makeup bag. Lulu pulls out foundation, mascara, blush and a few other cosmetic items.
"You're one of those girls, huh?" Johnny chuckled, surprised.
"I can't go around with a black eye, my family will flip." Lulu laughed, starting to apply mascara.
"My sister would do some shit like that." Johnny chuckled to himself.
"You have a sister? For some reason I thought you were an only child." Lulu was surprised, wondering what his sister was like. Was she older or younger? How close were they? Was she as attractive as Johnny?
"Yeah, an older sister. I feel like I basically grew up alone, when Claudia was fourteen our father shipped her off to Rome to live with our uncle Rudy. It was pretty lonely." Johnny admitted.
"I'm sorry, I've always had Lucky and Nikolas around which was good...my dad was always off in another country and my mom went into a Catonic state when I was six. They basically raised me, I know they gave up big portions of their lives helping me but luckily their significant others were good. Emily and Elizabeth loved me like I was one of their own, I'd never really experienced that." Lulu went into her experience, the sting of her mom still being in a coma made her sad.
"My mother was killed when I was seven, so I understand. Claudia and my mom were really the only people who really cared about me, I really miss my mom sometimes but...it is what it is. At least she's free of my father, it couldn't have been easy being married to a psychopath. Trying to protect a little boy from him." Johnny nods, eyes on the road as he spoke.
"I'm sorry, she sounds lovely. I wish I had gotten to meet her. It couldn't have been easy for her, when you're father's men grabbed me that time...no offense but, you're house gives me the creeps." Lulu involuntary shivers, just thinking of Crimson Pointe.
"I have a feeling mom would have loved you, sometimes certain things you do remind me of her. I know I hate living there, it's all the evil things that have happened over the years." Johnny had been secretly working for Sonny Corinthos for awhile now...he was looking for a place in the city. Once Anthony found out he'd blow a gasket but, Johnny was almost twenty years old...it was time for him to start his own life. That is exactly what he told Sonny and Jason along with selling his piece of land that he'd inherited and literally everything that was supposed to go to Johnny.
"I have something I need to tell you but, I don't want anyone knowing yet." Johnny warned her.
"I can keep a secret. Spill." Lulu sat up straighter in her seat.
"Spill?" Johnny chuckled, amused.
"Sorry, I spend a lot of time with Georgie." Lulu winced.
"I made a proposition with Corinthos and Morgan. I sold them all the land and possessions that were my inheritance...I've been working for you're godfather for a few weeks. I want to get enough money to get an apartment in the city." Johnny explained.
"I'm glad you're not fighting with them, I'm proud of you for taking a stand against Anthony. I know how hard this must be for you." Lulu smiled.
"Thank you, I appreciate that. Where am I driving, exactly?" Johnny gives her a look.
"Anywhere you wanna go." She playfully winked at him, echoing the first time they'd met.
"Alright, hold on. It's a bumpy ride."
