Today's theme is "Medieval".
Yang greatly enjoyed watching her knight fight for her, trying to save her from the monsters attacking them. Now she was perfectly capable of handling things herself, but this was just so much more romantic. The dashing knight rescuing the princess from the horrible monsters that kidnapped her. It was one of her greatest fantasies, and luckily she got just the knight she wanted too. When she was kidnapped by the grimm she knew her father would send a knight to come and return her. There was a moment where she was afraid he would send that horrible Winchester fellow and Yang considered just breaking out on her own to spare herself such an indignity, but luckily her father sent her personal favorite of all his knights. Ser Jaune Arc.
He was just so charming and plain adorable, and possessed all the qualities she thought a good knight should have. He was handsome, kind, courteous, and just a gentleman in every sense of the word. His technique when it came to combat could use some work, but that didn't matter to her. Besides the way he fought with a face of pure confidence while clearly being incredibly nervous the whole time on the inside had its own charm. He did his best to hide it, but she knew enough to be able to see right through him.
The few times Yang spoke to Jaune around the castle before this just reinforced the feelings she developed for him from her usual observation of the knights. He rarely let his eyes wander to where they shouldn't, even doing his best to resist when she purposefully tempted him but she knew he took peeks here and there. He didn't put on airs of false bravado like certain other knights that only saw her as a prize to be won and brag about bedding, but he also wasn't so subservient as to bore her. Every interaction with the blond knight made her fancy him more and more each day. The fact that he was the one to rescue her made her so glad she decided not to simply kick the door down and crush the pathetic creatures that dared to kidnap her under heel. It also made her much less embarrassed by the fact that they managed to do so in the first place simply because she thought it would be a good idea to take a swim near her favorite waterfall oasis in the forest next to the castle.
When Jaune busted down the door, armor glistening, sword dripping in the ichor of grimm, and golden hair flowing majestically in the breeze Yang actually swooned. She then proceeded to hug her savior and gave him a kiss on the cheek before he told her they must leave at once lest one of the foul creatures managed to hurt her all the while blushing profusely. He was such a silly young lad, thinking these pathetic beasts posed any actual threat. Yang played along though, after all she was the damsel being rescued and she didn't wish to ruin the moment.
As they were escaping Yang watched in adoration as her brave knight fought through the monsters trying to prevent their escape. It was a glorious show of heroism and killing of foul beasts. Yang wished this could last forever, but alas there are only so many grimm for her brave knight to slaughter in her name and she had an actual castle that they must return to. At the very least when this was over the princess would get the opportunity to greatly reward her savior.
Eventually though they got to the exit of the fortress Yang was being held captive in. Unfortunately there was a larger than expected hoard of grimm preventing their escape outside. It wouldn't be enough, but this would delay them for quite some time. So she acted the part of the worried maiden and stepped aside to let Jaune go forward and prepare for battle while she watched, and as he passed her an excited grin grew on her face. Jaune charged into the hoard with a loud battle cry and became a flurry of death within the large group of grimm. Yang was more than happy to watch as he sliced limbs off with his sword, and crushed bones with his shield. It was a wonderful sight to behold. Admittedly though, she did get a bit bored near the end when it got down to the last few grimm. The fact that they were the toughest of the bunch did keep it somewhat interesting though.
Jaune was fighting a rather large deathstalker, and was doing a good job at deflecting the pincers and dodging the giant stinger. As he was finishing it off however Yang noticed two ursai sneaking up behind him, ready to tear him apart with their large claws while he was distracted. Yang couldn't have her brave knight killed just when they were about to be free to return to the castle, so reluctantly she decided she had to step in. Yang charged toward the ursa and tackled one into the other. As they were getting up she punched the closest ursa's head clear off in a single blow, before delivering a kick to the other that sent it flying with a crushed chest. Yang then heard the death cry of the deathstalker and turned to Jaune at the same time he turned around to no doubt check on her, and was surprised to see her right behind him. As he opened his mouth Yang quickly embraced him and delivered a deep kiss upon his lips. When she pulled away from him to allow Jaune to breathe he had a dazed, but no doubt pleased look on his face.
"My hero!"
