Chapter 0

"And that old guy!" Jazz exclaimed, following her mother as the two walked down the sidewalk. The two were laughing as they carried their shopping bags from a girl's day at the mall.

"Who knew someone at that age could be so flexible!" Maddie laughed as the two turned to walk up the steps only to bump into someone. Looking up they found Sam and Tucker standing in front of them, staring at what should have been Fenton Works and was now a stair way that dropped into a hole in the ground.

Jazz dropped her bags, a scream coming from her mouth at the realization that the house was no longer there.

"Jackson Isaiah Fenton!" Maddie exclaimed, her hands tight around her shopping bags.

"Danny was in there," Tucker said, trying to rationalize what was going on.

"Come on, kids," Maddie said, sighing as she sat her bags down on the sidewalk before walking around the stairs to where the living room used to be. She worked her way down into what was left of the basement as she added, "Let's see what we can do to bring them back."

AN: This story started back in 2014. I never got much farther than this, but really wanted to explore where Jack ended up when he said, "Suck the house into a parallel dimension one time, and you just can't let it go, can ya?" I took cues from the show, making it sound like this was something that had gone wrong with the portal back before it was up and running, which means Danny doesn't have any powers.

March 28, 2022 I looked at this and had an epiphany. I knew where this story was going to go after 8 years! The rest was written on the 29th. I worked on it while at work and then continued the idea while driving home. I was even writing while on my stationary bike (looks like back when I wrote while on a car trip). This was the first story to give me a hand cramp! I've never felt one of those before! This story all of a sudden begged to be written. It's now the 30th, and I've finished typing it up, just braking it up so it'll be ready to publish here once it's turn comes around. I've got so much of a back log that these things aren't coming out in written order anymore. That's good for me, since I'm moving and getting married this year, but confusing for me to remember which stories are still in line to be posted.
