"Wakie wake Porscha," Rosita said, looking over the face of the young wolf sleeping on the air mattress.
Porscha groaned and turned her head to the side.
"Can't I sleep a little bit longer?" Porscha said in a croaked voice.
Rosita giggled a little bit
"It's already nearly 11 o'clock"
Porscha suddenly shot up.
"WHAT? Eleven?" Porscha said, shrieking slightly.
Porscha calmed down and turned to face Rosita.
"So... uh how long was I out?"
"I'm not sure... I know you went to bed about 9 pm last night"
Porscha scratched her back.
"Wow... I didn't realize I was that tired"
Rosita grinned
"Don't worry about it, we have all been there"
There was a moment's silence as Porscha stretched her arms.
"So Mr moon wants us at the Theatre at 12, as he has got big plans to tell us, you wanna come with?" Rosita said.
"Ummm... okay... yeah... yeah sure," Porscha said
"Could I take a shower and get fresh clothes on first. I'm pretty stinky" Porscha said, pulling the blankets off herself.
"Sure Porscha, you know where the shower is?" Rosita said in a motherly tone.
"Yeah, I do" Porscha Replied.
Porscha walked out the front door of Rositas Apartment block, carrying a handbag. She was wearing a yellow T-shirt and Jeans.
Rosita was standing just outside the door.
"So you ready?"
"Yeah" Porscha replied, grinning sheepishly.
"Alright let's go!"
Porscha and Rosita walked down the street and on to the next street, where a metro station was located.
They walked onto the stairs and sat on the platform bench, waiting for the train.
"I hope you didn't wait too long for me," Porscha said, breaking the momentary silence.
Rosita looked at Porsha and grinned.
"Not too long"
Porscha chuckled slightly
"Phew then"
Rosita smiled and then took her phone out of her handbag, and started texting.
The silence continued.
"Rosita is that you?" The Voice of a familiar Lynx said.
Rosita looked to her left where she saw nooshy the lynx standing there which Porscha had also seen.
"NOOSHY?" Rosita and Porscha said in unison.
Nooshy grinned from ear to ear
"The one and only"
Rosita clapped her hands as she hopped off her chair, Porscha also got off her chair waving awkwardly.
"Well this is such a surprise," Rosita said, gesturing her hands at nooshy.
"Same here mate," Nooshy said.
Porscha walked awkwardly up to Nooshy.
"Hi" she said, with a mixture of Nervousness and slight embarrassment in her voice.
Nooshy put her fist in the air to give Porscha a fist bump, which Porscha timidly did.
"Sup mate," Nooshy said.
"Uhhh... Great" Porscha said, scratching the back of her head.
At that moment the train pulled into the station and the doors opened.
"We better get on," Rosita said.
"Yup," Nooshy said.
Nooshy, Porsha, and Rosita all boarded the train through the same door.
Porscha sat down on the seat, and nooshy and Rosita remained stood up, holding the handrails.
"So are you here on vacation?" Rosita enquired of Nooshy.
"Nah... I'm here to stay," Nooshy said.
"I got like super bored of redshore city and I had the money for a bus ticket and you guys were like so sick so I wanted-"
Porscha inadvertently cut Nooshy off
"So where are you staying?" Porscha said inquisitively
Nooshy replied
"Just down the road from the station, we got on at"
"And you?" Nooshy said to Porscha.
"Well I am staying just around the corner from the station... with Rosita"
"Since we live close to you, you are welcome to come in for a coffee anytime Nooshy"
"sounds great Rosita," Nooshy said.
New Moon Theatre,
11:55 am
Porscha, Nooshy, and Rosita had entered the Theatre
They walked through the auditorium doors and saw Mr moon talking to Mrs. Crawly on the stage with a clipboard in hand.
"Hi Mr moon"
"Ah, Porscha and Rosita you made it!" Buster said in his usual enthusiastic tone.
"And Nooshy this is such a surprise" Buster said.
Nooshy held out her fist out to the Koala for a fist bump, buster looked at the fist with slight confusion.
"You're supposed to punch... it's called a fist bump"
"Oh okay" Buster said, as punching Nooshys face
"So what is the big news?" Rosita said
Porscha just stood there staring into space.
Buster wrapped the clipboard around his arms in a hugging motion.
"Well I was gonna wait until everyone was here but since your early... wait here"
Buster gestured for them to stay there, then he quickly ran behind the stage and turned the corner away from sight.
Porscha sat down on the edge of the stage and crossed her legs.
Rosita and nooshy also sat down by the stage.
"I wonder what the koala has in for us?" Nooshy said, as she opened a pack of bubblegum and put one in her mouth.
"It must be something big, buster wouldn't normally call us on such short notice when he is planning for his usual shows, last time he did we ended up in redshore" Rosita said, chuckling slightly
Rosita noticed the look on Porscha's face, and she couldn't tell whether it was a look of frustration or a look of sadness.
"Porscha... are alright?" Rosita said, bending forward to look the wolf in the eye.
"Yeah... I'm okay" Porscha said softly, with a hint of sadness in her voice.
Rosita wasn't convinced.
"Porscha, something's on your mind... I can see it" Rosita said, lovingly putting her hand on top of Porscha's and rubbing it.
Porscha hesitated for a moment and then she spoke.
"It's... it's just I don't understand why Buster is so welcoming of me, it was me being a total spoiled brat that got him nearly killed, how can he be so forgiving of me"
Rosita continued rubbing Porscha's hand.
"Look, what happened wasn't your fault, it was your father who tried to kill buster"
Porscha raised her voice slightly.
"I have been told that before, but It wouldn't have happened if I didn't throw a childish tantrum when buster changed my role" Porschas's eyes started going misty.
The auditorium doors opened to reveal Johnny standing there.
"Hello Rosita, Hello Porscha" Johnny said, waving at them
"Sup big guy" Nooshy said.
Rosita whispered to Porscha "We will talk about this later, okay?"
Porscha nodded in Agreement.
Johnny walked up to the stage
"Ahh, great Johnny is here!" Buster said, walking back on stage.
Walking next to buster is a black-furred pug wearing a white T-shirt, black tie, and Brown suit trousers. The pug had an oval-shaped body and skinny arms.
Buster smiled and gestured both hands and the clipboard at the pug.
"Johnny, Porscha, Nooshy, Rosita... I Would like you to meet Mr. Dusty pugler"
Dusty grinned and gave a small wave at the troupe.
"So Dusty do you wanna explain our idea to them?" Buster said.
"Umm... I think you should have the honors Mr moon"
"Oki Doki then" Buster said.
"So everyone, Dusty here is from a company called pugler and co, a company that produces a lot of audio equip-"
Dusty interrupted.
"Correction, I am not from the puglertron company, that is owned by my uncle Adam, I'm just helping out here because Calatonia was a bit too far to travel for him to meet you guys"
After glaring for a moment at Dusty for interrupting him, Buster continued.
"As I was saying puglertron is a company that makes audio equipment, some of which we use here at the theatre. Dusty came to me because his uncle wants us to perform at a musical advent being held by puglertron"
"Ohhh sounds fun" Porscha said, cheering up slightly.
"Mr moon?... What exactly is this advent?" Johnny Enquired.
"Well Johnny, it's the Puglertron music festival" Buster said in his usual enthusiastic tone.
"That's a new one, I have never heard of it before"
"I'm not surprised. it only started early last year "
"Correct... my uncle wanted to do something different, so he decided to do these music festivals"
Dusty said as he put his hand in his pocket.
"These festivals are held outside of cities in the countryside, usually near RV parks in different places across the country. My uncle saw you perform once and was impressed and he wants you to form at the next festival in"
"MISSISSIPPI!?"
Ash, gunter, and Meena said at once.
"My thoughts exactly, " Nooshy said.
Buster smiled and stretched his arms out in Excitement "I know right, it's gonna be awesome"
ash crossed her arms, and frowned at buster with a sideways glance.
"This sounds crazy to me, Mississippi is halfway across the country!" nooshy said.
Gunter also crossed his arms and nodded in agreement with nooshy.
Buster swung his arms in the air.
"Come on Nooshy, we did it before in redshore city and San Francisco!" he said.
"That was only a few hours on the bus... and it wasn't across the country" ash said.
"It's only a few hours by airplane" Dusty said, while typing on his phone.
Rosita chimed in.
"Nooshy and ash are right, none of us have gone that far before"
"I have" Meena said.
Everyone turned their heads to look at meena, seeing this meena smiled nervously.
"It's a long story" she said.
Buster opened his posture and exhaled slightly.
"Look guys, I know I might seem overly ambitious... but this could be a great opportunity, an opportuntiy to show that it's not about fancy effects or the dazzling light shows of redshore or the theatre, it's an opportunity to show our talent to the world that we are troupe of truely talented creatures."
"I don't think you guys have anything to prove" Nooshy said, still not convinced.
Buster smiled at nooshy then nodded "Your right Nooshy, we don't need to prove anything, you guys did that when I first saw you at auditions, you had nothing to prove when we held an outdoor show in the theatre ruins, we had nothing to prove when we went to redshore city and held a show behind crystal's back, It doesn't matter what people think, because I know you guys are talented, nana knows it too. In fact, she encouraged me to go to redshore regardless of what Suki said. so regardless of what people think of us, I say we go to this musical festival and spread a little Moon theatre magic!"
Buster raised his hands above his head.
"Whose with me?"
There was a moment silence.
Rosita raised her hand
"I'm with you"
"Me too" Ash said.
"Count me in" Johnny said
"I'm in" Gunter said excitedly.
"Okay" Meena said.
Nooshy stood with her arms crossed and smirked
"Alright I will join you guys"
Buster looked Porscha and smiled.
"Porscha... are you coming"
Porscha eyes went wide in suprise.
"You... want me to come along?" She said, clearly surprised.
"Off course, you part of the team now" Buster said.
"Okay then, I'll go" porscha said, still surprised at Buster's invitation.
Dusty clapped cheerfully
"If you guys agree, i will put you on the flight out to mississippi tomorrow"
"Pack your bags guys, we're going to Mississippi" Buster said proudly.
