As you can see here it's gonna be a bright and sunny 98 degrees Fahrenheit down in southern and central Texas, heading up north it gets a little bit cooler with 96 Fahrenheit up in Dallas today.
All eyes here are currently on northern Kansas and southern Nebraska at the moment with a major storm system firing up with the potential for severe winds and possibly even tornados. Currently, there are no warnings out but residents of the area are encouraged to be alert.
Neosho, Missouri.
A Rhodesian Ridgeback sits on the trunk of his K5 Blazer In the front yard of his home on the outskirts of Neosho. The House is of brick construction and is painted Lime green, and a gravel driveway leads down from the garage to the road, which leads into town.
The Ridgeback is working on a device that is sitting on the trunk of the pickup, the device has a round yellow base, an iron bar in the middle of it facing upwards, and attached to this bar are all sorts of random gadgets and at the very top a small whirly. on the base was a small panel, which the Dog had opened, and inside was a USB port, which was connected to a laptop that he was working on.

The sound of a horn made the Ridgeback look up from the laptop and peep his head over the cab of the pickup and look down the driveway, where a Ford E350 flatbed had pulled up in front of his driveway, and a white-tailed deer got out, wearing a baseball shirt and khaki colored shorts.
"Hey Nathan my man!" he called out to the Ridgeback, hands in his pocket.
The Ridgeback hopped down from the trunk of his car and walked around.
"Hey what's shaking" Nathan Replied, putting his arms on his hips.
"I have been quite busy, I went to go help out on my dad's ranch, and I have installed some upgrades to the Doppler" The Deer replied, gesturing towards the large radar dish on the back of his truck.
"You wanna take a look?"
"Totally" Nathan Replied
The Rain deer walked towards a small box behind the cab of the truck and opened the door.
Nathan looked inside, and when he did a look of confusion grew on his face.
"What's different?" He said.
"I will show you" The Rain deer replied.
the rain deer squeezed past Nathan who was standing in the way of the entrance to the box.
The rain deer sat down and turned on the computer.
"So most of the upgrades I made are to the radar"
The Deer gestured to the computer
"So one of the things I did was upgrade the computer software, I'm using an open-source operating system, which is more reliable"
"Sounds good" Nathan Replied.
"Another upgrade I did was installing dual-polarization into the radar, and I plan on installing phased array antenna eventually"
Nathan crossed his arms and nodded approvingly.
"That's some pretty good stuff man"
"I know... and now this allows me to identify airborne debris from tornadoes"
"That will improve are chasing ability because we will be able to assess the risk of a tornado and make are chasing safer," Nathan said enthusiastically while gesturing at the large radar on the back of the truck.
There was just an awkward silence for a second, as both didn't have much to say until the Rain deer spoke.
"Did you hear about the storms firing up in Kansas and Nebraska"
Nathan was snapped out of his thoughts.
"Yeah... Yeah I did"
The Deer was checking the weather report on his computer.
"By the looks of it, there promising"
The Deer tilts back on his chair slightly to show Nathan the weather report.
"Really!? Wow! and the season just started" Nathan said excitingly.
"So what you say, Nathan? you up for a chase?"
"You bet Jethro!"
Gunta leans his head on the airplane window, snoring loudly.
Porscha was amused by his snoring, giggling every time he made a snoring sound.
on the end row was rosita, who was reading a magazine.
Buster sat with Mrs. Crawly, and on the end row next to Crawly was a random antelope.
Buster had a coffee in his hand, and he was staring out the window, contemplating his life.
I can't believe it, a few years ago I was about ready to give up, and now I'm putting on a show across the country, my father would be proud.
Buster continues to stare out the window, watching the scattered clouds pass by.
Meena, nooshy, and Johnny sat in the same row, and ash was sat in the row behind them. ash was writing a song, Johnny was watching a movie, and nooshy was listening to music.
The plane started bouncing up and down slightly.
"This is the Captain speaking, please fasten your seatbelts as we are currently going through a patch of turbulence"
Rosita put down her magazine and breaths heavily deeply, and her skin goes flush.
Just don't think about heights, I'm gonna be fine, I'm gonna be fine. She thinks to herself.
Meena and Johnny are sharing earphones, Meena was now watching Johnny's movie with him.
"I'm impressed how well you handling the flight," Johnny said, looking at Meena.
"I'm used to flying, I used to do it often she said " Not taking her eye off the film.
"Hmm... I didn't know that"
"I used go to Texas with my parents because of my dad's work..." Meena bowed her head slightly.
"Until he died," she said, with a hint of sadness in her voice.
"Oh... sorry to hear that" Johnny said in a sympathetic voice.
"It was a long time ago" Meena said, frowning sadly.
"SUPRISE! " The voice of Alfonso cried out, as walked up to where Meena was sitting from behind.
"ALFONSO" Meena cried out happily.
Alfonso chuckled happily as he bent down the give Meena a big hug.
"It's so great to see you Meena" Alfonso
"It's great to see you too" Meena said in a muffled voice as her face sank into Alfonso's chest.
A bunny flight attendant walked up to where the hugging pair were.
"Sir you need to sit down please" she said, in a commanding tone.
"Uhh... okay... I guess I will see when we land" Alfonso said to Meena.
Meena looked up at Alfonso and gave a toothy smile.
"Bye," Alfonso said as he walked down the aisle to where he was sitting.
"Bye," Meena said, her cheeks had gone slightly red.
Meena turned her head around to find both nooshy and Johnny grinning at her, which made her cover her face with her ears in slight embarrassment.
Route 81, Northern Kansas
Nathan drives along the highway, multitasking between focusing on the road and the weather system in front of him.
He picks up the radio.
"Nathan to Jethro, do you hear me"
" I hear you Nathan loud and clear "
"This storm looks to be blowing northeast, I think we should head right down route 36 to catch it."
"I agree "
Jethro and Nathan drove down route 38, the rain started to fall.
" Nathan, I say we pull over so I can take a scan of the storm "
"Go ahead, I will continue down the road"
"Rodger that "
Nathan continues to drive down the road, pulling over frequently to observe the storm.
"Jethro to Nathan are you there "
"I'm here"
"I have been scanning the storm and I'm not seeing any rotation on my monitor "
"Yeah, and from where I am the base is getting very whispy, I think we have a dying storm"
"I'm gonna have to agree on that one "
"Are there any storms in the area that look promising"
"Hang on give me a sec... unfortunately no "
"In that case I say we head home"
"Affirmative "
