"Many centuries ago, magic jewels bestowing extraordinary powers were created. And these were called the Miraculous. Throughout history people have used them for a source of good for the human race. Two of these miraculouses are more powerful than the other. The Earrings of the Ladybug that provides the power of creation, and the Ring of The Black Cat that grants the power of distraction. According to Legend, whoever wears both of them at the same time will be granted a wish for whatever they want." Nooruu had explained to his master for the hundredth time. He knew he was becoming obsessed over the subject, and he was starting to get irritated by this.

"I want to grant that wish, Nooruu. I must have these miraculouses!" His master asked angrily with a sneer. His eyes glaring in the darkness of the purple lair.

"But nobody knows where these miraculouses are." Nooruu tried to reason with him, grimacing as his eyes pierced his soul.

"I found you though, your miraculous, remind me of its powers again?" He Grinned evilly, Nooruu gulped in fear and decided he had no choice but to tell him.

"The moth brooch allows you to give someone their own superpowers, and have them become your... devoted follower." He shivered in fear, his master was now grabbing him by his small body, for he was a small insect, he was crushing him so hard he could scarcely breathe.

"And when it comes to luring superheroes, what would be better than creating super villains." He let go of Nooruu, letting him sputter and gasp for breath.

"But master, the miraculouses aren't supposed to be used for evil purposes." But before he could go on he was already furious and flaring with rage.

"I must have these miraculouses, I must grant that wish! Your miraculous is in my control. I am your master! And you must obey me!" Once he stopped Nooruu glumly nodded in submission.

"Yes, master."

"Nooruu, darkwings rise!" He shouted, Nooruu had no choice but to enter the miraculous and make him transform into Hawkmoth. "From this day forth, I shall be known as Hawkmoth!"

Wayzz woke up to see his master named Master Fu giving a massage to an unrecognizable Parisian citizen, it was then time for him to leave. Master Fu escorted him out of the building and shut the door behind him. Wayzz flew over to Master Fu.

"Master, the moth miraculous. I just felt it's aura." Wayzz explained, Master Fu's eyes widened in shock about this information.

"But I thought it had been lost forever." Master Fu Replied in astonishment.

"But Master, it's a negative aura, I fear it has gotten into the wrong hands."

"We must find Nooruu, if it has gotten into the wrong hands. There's no telling what tremendous evil will come upon the world. I am to transform, Wayzz shell on!" His back snapped and he sagged to the floor in pain and anguish.

"Please Master, be reasonable. You are..."

"Still young, I'm only 186. But you're right Wayzz, I can no longer do this alone. We'll need some help."

" Marinette, the alarm has been ringing for over fifteen minutes now! You're gonna be late for your first day back at school." Marinette's mother Sabine yelled, she groaned as she got up.

"I'm coming mom!" She sluggishly stepped out of bed, groggily putting on clothes, she then stumbled clumsily down the stairs because of how tired she was. "I'm coming!" She saw that her parents set the table for her. "I bet Chloe will be in my class again!"

"Three years in a row? Is that possible?" Sabine asked, she passed her the cereal and Marinette clumsily poured it into the bowl of milk. "Don't worry, it's the start of a new year, I'm sure it'll be just fine!" Suddenly her father Tom, walked in with a box in hand! Marinette grinned wide and hugged him.

"Tom? Did you really have to make all those macaroons?" Sabine asked,

"Don't worry Sabine honey, I can't let my darling go to school without being properly fed." Tom Grinned. "Besides they're also for the class."

"Thanks Dad, my class will love them! You're the best, see you later. Love you!" She gave her condolences and stood at the sidewalk to wait for the busy traffic to pass by, when she noticed a single old man with a cane slowly crossing the road. A car was coming, and no one was paying attention, a rush of fear suddenly swarmed in her gut. Without a second thought, she lunged at him and grabbed his arm to drag him away from the car. Her adrenaline was depleting now that he was safe from harm, she sighed softly and smiled at the old man.

"Thank you young lady, how can I ever repay you for your act of service?" He Asked, and she smiled warmly.

"You don't need to thank me! I just didn't want to be the person who does not do something, besides you could've gotten really hurt, or worse." Marinette was grateful for how much he appreciated her actions. When suddenly she heard the bell ring.

"Crap! I'm gonna be late! Have a nice day sir!" She ran to school and into the building, the old man looked at her and smiled.

"Thank you very much young lady."

She ran to Mrs. Bustier's class in a hurry, she gasped for air and sat down in her seat.

"Nino, why don't you sit in the front row this year?" Mrs. Bustier asked, Nino grumbled angrily and slumped into his new seat.

"Marinette Dupain Cheng!" Chloe sauntered up to her desk, she was the mayor's daughter and could very well expel her if she wanted to. Here we go again! Marinette thought glumly. "That's my seat!"

"But Chloe, this has always been my seat." Marinette tried to reason with her, even though she knew it was no use.

"Not anymore, new school year, new seats! Now scram!" Sabrina Growled at her, folding her arms, her phone in her left hand.

"So why don't you sit next to that new girl over there!" Chloe pointed at a Martiniquan Creole-French girl with a curvaceous body. Her name was Alya, She had frizzy hair and glasses. Her hazel eyes narrowed when she heard what they were saying. "Listen, Adrien is arriving today, and since that's gonna be his seat, this is gonna be my seat! GET IT?" She slammed her hand on the desk which made Marinette shutter in fear.

"Who is Adrien?" She was afraid to ask, but she wanted to know, Chloe started to burst out laughing.

"Can you believe she doesn't know who Adrien is? What kind of rock have you been living under!" Chloe cackled.

"He's a famous model! Duh!" Sabrina sneered at Marinette in her face as if this was obvious.

"Yes, and I am his best friend! He adores me! So go on, move!" Chloe jeered and snapped her fingers. Alya approached Chloe from behind her, folding her arms.

"What makes you think you are in charge of the seating arrangement?" She Asked, Chloe scoffed as if it was obvious.

"Oh look Sabrina, looks like there's another do gooder in class this year! What are you gonna do! Shoot beams at me with your glasses?" Chloe mocked Alya, noticing that she was getting even more fired up.

"Wouldn't you like to know!" Alya then grabbed Marinette's hand and pulled her to a middle seat. "Come on!" Marinette stumbled and fell, causing a third of the macaroons to fall out of her box.

"Oh no!" She then sat next to Alya and apologized for being a clutz again.

"So, has everyone finally found a seat?" Mrs. Bustier Asked, she had red hair and a kind face.

"Chill girl, it's no big deal, we can probably clean it up after class." Alya Replied.

"I wish I was as confident as you are, so I can stand up to Chloe like you do." Marinette glumly stated, taking a bite out of a macaroon.

"I just tell people how it is, after all. If good people do nothing, then how will the bad ever be stopped?" Alya Replied.

"That's a lot easier said than done, I'm a pushover, and she likes to make my life miserable. I don't want to press my luck." Marinette explained her arm over her neck.

"That's just cuz you let her, girl. You just need more confidence in yourself uh... sorry I didn't catch your name." Marinette cracked open half of a macaroon to Alya.

"Marinette."

"Alya." Marinette handed the macaroon to her and she took a bite out of it.

"For those in the class who are new and don't yet know me, I am Mrs. Bustier. I will be your English teacher this semester." Mrs. Bustier said to the class, Chloe was stomping her feet impatiently. He should be here already! She thought angrily to herself peering out the window.
