Prelude

The Beginning of Zulu

"This is Charlie 2 Actual, we've come into heavy resistance from the locals around this area, requesting for an immediate Evac to our location, over!"

"Copy, Charlie 2 Actual, confirmed sending Evac to your coordinates, ETA 20 Mikes"

"Dammit, that's not enough time we are going to get ourselves surrounded when they get here"

"Sir, how about shooting them?"

"That's a negative Charle 2-5, we have orders not to shoot. Also that'll get us court martialed, but since we came here with peaceful intentions this is how they repay us!".

A man in the uniform of black jacket and a gray undershirt, dark gray pants, with short dark gray hair with a medium figure. He walks down in a small urban town market which smells of freshly baked bread and caramelized sugar, as he passes each stall the more he grows hungry then he reaches a small building, a cafe of sorts. He walked through the door. When he entered the building it was mostly empty, with only the barista's and a few customers at the tables. As he kept looking around somebody calls out his name

"Hey! I'm over here Jacob," a girl of medium height, slim stature, long brunette hair in a braid going over her right shoulder, wearing brown trousers, a gray shirt, and a long green apron. She gets up off her chair then waves at him. He walks over to the table and arrives.

"So~, what do you think?" She asked him, as she twirled in place to show off her uniform.

"It looks good on you Martha,"

"Hehe, thanks!" As they exchange their hugs, they sit down and they start talking.

"So what have you been up to lately Martha?" Jacob asked

"Oh you know, doing my day-to-day job being a barista here, anyways how about you?" as she leans on her hand

"Me what I've been up to, hmm let me think here for a sec," as Jacob was thinking Martha looked at him in his thinking face then silently smiled.

"Oh I remember, I just got done training recruits a few days ago so they gave me some days off if I'm correct," He said back to Martha

"Oh cool! What kind of training?" She asked excitedly

"Let me think here… Oh, I put them in a dense forest with themselves with a bag, gun with extra mags, and a knife if I remember correctly," Jacob replied back

"Sounds like harsh training to me, I will probably not survive something like that but it does sound fun by yourself in the forest" Martha replied "Say wanna go to the park together this Saturday, it might be fun!" Just as Martha said that Jacob's phone starts to ring.

"Oh yeah sure," he replied back, "But can I make the phone call real quick?" Martha was ecstatic and she nodded yes to him so Jacob picked up his phone and it was one of the higher up from his job so he answered

"Hello?" Jacob said in a nicely mannered voice

"Hello Jacob, this is Colonel Anderson. We need you to be down at base ASAP there is an emergency within one of the squads. But there is something else I need to say in person as well so can you get down here?"

"Yeah sure I'll be fast as I can," Jacob answered then hanged up

"Hey Martha, I just had something come up and it's urgent too, but I did have fun chatting with you and seeing you again,"

Martha shakes her head to tell him that he can go then they waved their goodbyes to each other. When Jacob left the building he started running towards the base which was about two and half a kilometer away from where he was.

As Jacob runs down the street he hears something that captures him as if somebody just screamed, he looks around to see that nobody noticed it then again a plea for help. He was able to pinpoint it towards a dark alley, as he followed the sound it led him to a dark alleyway. He tenses up as he gets closer to the place he heard it from and it was around a corner, he got closer to the corner then he looks around the corner and spots a child silently pleading for help, as he approaches the child. He feels like there is a bad aura watching him as he gets closer to the child to help them. As Jacob looks back from where he came from and the street was still there. Then just as he looks back at the child he sees a magic circle under him.

"Fucking hell! A teleportation circle NOW!" he yelled in shock

when he tried to escape the circle there was an invisible barrier blocking him from escaping so he as quickly as he could call some help from his phone,

"Hey sis, I'm going to be in deep shit. Can you call the company and send out an evac squad to get me out, also tell one of my commanders I MIGHT be running a bit late," as he called his sister

"WAIT WHAT?! Jacob, what you are saying, calling the company to send an evac. squad to bail you out, what do you mean to tell them you'll be late?" As Jacobs' sister yelled on the phone.

Just as Jacob was trying to tell his sister his situation the magic circle completed and sent him to a new world then he fully realized,

"I'm going to be in some really deep shit".
