Chapter 4
Getting the hell out of here
As Jacob exits the bedrooms hallway he can see multiple torch lights headed his way in a hurry then Jacob puts 2-3 on his back then starts dashing straight toward Charlie Team and regroup but the thing is that the way they came is the same way that the torches are so Jacob start dashing the other way then Jacob entered a long spiral staircase. As Jacob was walking down he saw an open window with some bushes on the bottom. It was probably a 1 stories jump to get there but Jacob couldn't take chances because the injured teammate on his back but Jacob heard some footsteps coming from down the stairs and it sounded like they were coming towards them so Jacob had a choice either get caught and face unknown consequences or jump down and probably get hurt in the process he thought about it then he got near the window looked down then took a breath.
Jacob jumps off the window with his teammate on his back as he readied the impact he then landed onto the hard dirt on the ground.
Jacob might've sprain his ankle so he was in some pain but it was something that could be handled quite quickly but his teammate not so much so he searched his teammate backpack and found 3 bandage rolls so Jacob patched up his ankle then his teammate's chest then Jacob put back the stuff then started to look around and from the looks of it it seems like they are outside the castle grounds so Jacob called Charlie actual with his teammate device
"This is Charlie 2-1, what's your situation Charlie 2-3, Over?" Charlie 2-1 answered
"This is Jacob calling from 2-3 wrist device,"
"Jacob? Well anyways we heard a gunshot and we got worried so I sent 2-4 and 2-5 to your location,"
"Hold on, we've already moved location!"
"We know, we saw you guys moving locations from the tracker on the wrist device,"
"Hold, I hear something Gotta go, over,"
Then Jacob hung up on Charlie 2-1 then proceeded to hide from the noise and from the sound of it, it was the sounds of leaves getting crushed and it was getting closer but there was no talking but judging by the footsteps it was something like a wolf or something like it. As it gets closer to Jacob the creature stops then dead silence……… Jacob look around slowly with his eyes then notices his teammates bowie knife on his chest then slowly and quietly tries to grab it then pull it out of the cover then,
CRACK*
A tree branch breaks then Jacob hears the creature run away from him but it's not over yet and hears heavy boots coming closer to them then two quick flashes of light, indicating that it was 2-4 and 2-5 then Jacob with the headlamp on 2-3 he flashed 2 times towards their location.
"Jesus, that took you guys long enough," Jacob said exhausted.
"Well this Castle is a maze okay," 2-4 responded.
"Anyways thanks for picking us up, also should we head back?"
"Yeah we are but wasn't there supposed to be someone else as well?" 2-5 asked
"There was, but they've decided to stay,"
