Prequel to: "The Adventures of Anna Stoppable: Mother's Day"
It was May 5th, 2006, at 2:25 pm as Anna Stoppable was sitting in her homeroom class at the Henry Hudson Preparatory School in Broy, New York, along with the rest of her class and before their tough but fair schoolteacher, Regan Barkin.
"Alright, people listen up!" Barkin began. "Before you go, I would like to announce that this upcoming Saturday is the Annual HHP Mother's Day Talent Show. And due to the recent fire in the auditorium, the talent show will be moved to the Delacorte Theater in Central Park in New York City. Signups will be posted outside the school's front entrance tomorrow morning."
"I am going to win this," Connie, who was sitting to Anna's left, spoke up. "My mother and I have won this talent show for five years straight. We're so not gonna break a Waller family tradition."
Anna turned to Connie, "And I take it you two are gonna tap dance at the talent show?"
"You know we are," Connie answered.
Just then, the bell rang.
Everyone in the class got up from their seats and walked out of the classroom.
A minute later, Anna walked out of the school's front entrance just as a familiar face walked up to her.
"Hey, Ellie," Anna said, recognizing the girl.
"Hey, Anna," Ellie said with a wave. She then asked. "Did you hear about the talent show?"
"I sure did," Anna replied as she and Ellie started walking towards the parking lot.
"You gonna take part in it?" Ellie asked.
"I sure am," Anna replied. She then asked. "What about you?"
Ellie sighed, "The talent show is only open to those who are 1st to 12th grade and I'm still in Pre-K. But my mother and I will still be going to watch the talent show nevertheless." She soon thought of something and asked. "I take it Connie's gonna compete with her mother?"
"Yes," Anna groaned. "But I intend to enter the contest with my mom and cripple Connie's family tradition of winning every Mother's Day Talent Show." She and Ellie soon noticed the Sloth in the parking lot and Kim walking up to them. "That is, if my mom's up for it."
"Hey, Anna," Kim said with a wave.
"Hey, Mom," Anna said just before she and Kim hugged each other.
After Kim and Anna broke the hug, Kim waved to Ellie, "Hey, Ellie."
"Hey, Kim," Ellie waved back.
Anna then spoke, "Hey, Mom?"
"Yes, Anna?" Kim answered.
"There's going to be a Mother's Day talent show hosted by HHP this Saturday in New York," Anna said. "And I was hoping you would be up to participating with me."
Kim developed a nervous look on her face, "Well, I don't know… it's been a while since I took part in a talent show."
"Mom, you took part in the Annual HRU Spring Talent Show in March," Anna pointed out.
Hudson River University Auditorium

6:30 pm
The auditorium was filled for the Annual HRU Spring Talent Show. In the front row were Kim and Ron's parents, Jim, Tim, Hana, Anna, and Ellie.
"This talent show is gonna be great!" Anna said in excitement.
"I can't believe what our sister," Jim spoke.
"Is going to be doing," Tim added.
"For the talent show," They both finished in unison.
"Same with, Ronnie," Ron's mother, Jenn, added.
Just then, the lights dimmed.
"Ladies and Gentlemen," Came a male voice over the speaker. "Welcome to the Annual Hudson River University Spring Talent Show. First up is, Kim Stoppable, Monique, Tara King, and Hope Fernando as the Team Possible Barbershop Tap Dance Quartet!"
The audience clapped as Kim, Monique, Tara, and Hope walked onto the stage. They were wearing white long-sleeve collared shirts, red velvet vests, black bowties, black pants, black patent lace-up tap shoes, and pearl earrings. They were also wearing barbershop hats with red bands around them. Lastly, Kim and Tara had their hair in ponytails.
Just then, the song, "Puttin' on the Ritz" started playing and the four girls danced to the rhythm.
Present...
Kim nodded, "Yes, I remember taking part in that show. But it still feels like it's been a while. And I still can't believe you used the puppy-dog pout while suggesting that me, Monique, Tara, and Hope should go on as a Barbershop Tap Dance Quartet."
"Come on, Mom," Anna said. "I thought it'd be a great idea. And since everyone loved the performance and thought you four looked cute wearing those barbershop outfits, it turned out to have been the best idea I've had, yet. Because it was a great idea, I want you and me to go on as a barbershop tap dance duo for the Mother's Day Talent Show."
"Really, Anna?" Kim asked.
Just then, Kim, Anna, and Ellie noticed Connie and an older version of her.
"Seems, like your mother isn't up for it," Connie taunted.
"What a chicken," The older woman taunted.
"You tell her, Mom," Connie added.
Kim, Anna, and Ellie scowled at the two Wallers.
"Is that your mother, Connie?" Anna asked.
"She is," Connie replied. "And unlike your mom, she's the best."
"What's her name?" Kim demanded.
"My name is, Geraldine," Connie's mother answered. "And, Kim, I have to admit, regardless of your daughter's excellent celebrity status, she's nothing compared to my daughter. Connie is a responsible young lady, she's skilled at what she loves doing, is a straight-A student, and doesn't put herself in danger by going after super-villains. Anna lacks those qualities."
Kim's face turned red, "How dare you say such awful things about, Anna! Anna is the most wonderful daughter any parent could ever ask for! Anna's kind, responsible, talented, a straight-A student, and is always careful when going up against even the most dangerous super-villains."
"What a bunch of lies," Geraldine huffed. "Couple with the fact that you are an awful mother."
"How dare you insult my mom!" Anna hissed. "She is a wonderful mom and I love her very much!"
"Connie and I don't have time for arguing," Geraldine said. "We have a talent show to rehearse for."
"So do me and Anna!" Kim said.
"So, you're up for taking part in the talent show with me?" Anna asked Kim.
"You bet I am!" Kim replied. "Now, let's go home!"
"Good luck on Saturday!" Geraldine taunted as Kim, Anna, and Ellie walked off to the Sloth. "You're gonna need it!"
With that, Connie and Geraldine walked off just as Kim, Anna, and Ellie climbed into the Sloth and departed.
Later, after dropping Ellie off at her house next door, Kim and Anna entered the front door of the Stoppable townhouse.
"We're home!" Kim announced.
Ron walked up to Kim and Anna and waved, "Hey, guys." He then turned to Anna and asked. "So, AC, how was your day?"
"Aside from me and Mom being taunted by Connie and her mother, I had a good day," Anna replied. "And Mom and I plan to compete against Connie and her mother in the annual HHP Mother's Day Talent Show in New York this Saturday."
"I'm so sorry that Bon-Bon wannabe and her mother taunted you," Ron said with sympathy. He then asked. "So, what are you and your mother gonna do to beat those two?"
"We're going on as a barbershop tap dance duo," Kim spoke up, getting Ron's attention. "I didn't like the idea at first, but after Connie and her mother insulted us, I'm willing to do anything to defeat those two jerks."
"I think that will be bon-diggity!" Ron commented. "And I think going on as a barbershop tap dance duo will be a great idea! After all, you, Monique, Tara, and Hope put on one heck of a show as the Team Possible Barbershop Tap Dance Quartet and looked cute in those Barbershop outfits."
Kim blushed, "Yeah, but I don't consider it as good as what you, Felix, Zita, Josh, and Marty did."
Hudson River University Auditorium
March 16th, 2006
7:00 pm
Kim and Ron's parents, Jim, Tim, Hana, Anna and Ellie watched as a group of people set up a drum set, a piano, a bass guitar, and an electric guitar before walking off stage.
"Ladies and Gentlemen," Came the voice over the speaker. "Next up will be Josh Mankey, Ron Stoppable, Felix Renton, Zita Flores, and Marty McDonald who will perform, 'Don't Stop Belivin' by Journey."
Everyone applauded as Ron, Felix, Zita, Josh, and Marty walked onto the stage.
Ron took position behind the drums; Felix picked up the bass guitar and put the strap over his shoulder, Zita sat down behind the piano, Josh took position behind the front microphone and Marty picked up the electric guitar and put the strap over his shoulder.
Soon, Zita started playing the first part of the song with the piano, followed by Josh singing the song, and the other musicians following suit.
Present…
"That was one great performance," Anna commented.
"And we ended up winning the talent show," Ron pointed out.
"While me, Monique, Tara, and Hope got 2nd place," Kim added. "But we were happy for you, Felix, Zita, Josh, and Marty."
"It was a great idea of Marty's to sing a classic," Ron commented.
"Yeah," Kim agreed. "Now, Anna and I are gonna go upstairs and rehearse our act."
Ron nodded, "You go do that. Another thing, Felix and Zita are going to a Zombie Mayhem Convention in New York on Mother's Day weekend, and I want to go with them to it."
"Don't you wanna celebrate Mother's Day with your mom?" Kim asked.
Ron shook his head, "I can't; she and Dad are visiting her mother in Long Island and took Han with them. Afterward, they will attend a Flippies Convention in Albany on Mother's Day weekend."
Kim sighed, "Okay, Ron, you can go to the Zombie Mayhem Convention."
"Booyah!" Ron said in excitement. "I'm gonna go call Felix and Zita!"
He then ran off while pulling out his cellphone while Kim and Anna walked upstairs.
A few days later, on Saturday May 13th at 9:00 am, Kim and Anna were backstage at the Delacorte Theater wearing their barbershop outfits. Kim wore the same outfit she wore during the HRU talent show while Anna wore an identical outfit. They also had their hair in ponytails.
"Are you nervous?" Kim asked.
Anna shook her head, "Nah, I'm used to being on stage a lot. What about you?"
"I'm a little nervous," Kim answered.
"Don't worry, Mom, we've covered everything and we're ready for this," Anna assured. "And, like I said before, you look cute in that Barbershop outfit."
Kim put her arms behind her back and blushed.
"You look more like a loser to me," Came Geraldine's voice.
Kim and Anna looked to see Connie and Geraldine Waller. They were both wearing silver crop-tops, black leggings, silver ankle-high tap boots with 2-inch beige heels.
"Connie," Anna groaned.
"You two look like dorks in those outfits," Connie commented.
The Wallers both laughed as they walked away.
"Those two are so going down!" Kim said in anger and removed her arms from behind her back.
"I just hope nothing gets in the way of our act," Anna added.
Beep Beep Beep Beep
"What is the sitch, Wade?!" Kim groaned as she answered her Kimmunicator.
"I take it this must be a bad time?" Wade asked as he appeared on the screen.
"Ferociously," Kim replied.
"I'm sorry," Wade apologized. "But we just got a hit on the site that Professor Dementor is at it again."
"What's he up to this time?" Kim asked.
"Unknown," Wade replied. "But he's at his lair in the Bavarian Alps."
Anna soon remembered something and asked, "Can't the other Team Possible members take on Dementor?"
"I sent most of the team to Texas to stop Chester Yapsby and his mutant scorpion army," Wade replied.
"What about Dad, Felix, and Zita?" Anna asked.
"I've been trying to contact them," Wade replied. "But they're either in a dead zone or they're simply not answering. I'll keep trying to reach them, but in the meantime, you two will have to take on Dementor on your own."
"At least Mom and I are up last and there are multiple acts before us," Anna said.
"We're on our way," Kim said with a nod. She then scowled. "And when you do manage to contact Ron, tell him that I would like to have a word with him later."
Later, Kim and Anna were in the Bavarian Alps, making their way up a cliff to Dementor's lair.
"So, Anna, how are you holding up?" Kim asked.
"I'm holding up perfectly," Anna replied. "And you?"
"Same," Kim answered.
Anna soon thought of something and spoke, "You know something, Mom."
"Yes, Anna?" Kim answered.
"Even though we had to be called away from the talent show I consider this mission a great opportunity to spend some good quality mother/daughter time," Anna said.
Before she could answer, Kim stepped on a loose rock, and it fell out, causing her to lose her footing. But things go from bad to worse when the rocks she was hanging on to broke loose.
"Ah!" Kim screamed.
"Mom!" Anna shouted. She then quickly grabbed her mother's right hand with her left, only to fall back with her. "Ah!"
The two Stoppables soon found themselves freefalling until a giant funnel appeared below them.
"This is almost like, The Empire Strikes Back!" Anna commented before she and Kim entered the funnel.
They soon went through a large tube that consisted of many curves before entering a cage inside a gray room.
"Ow!" Kim said as she hit the floor first.
Just when Anna was about to hit the floor, Kim quickly caught her.
"Thanks, Mom," Anna said. She then sighed. "I'm sorry we are now captured."
Kim then put Anna down and said, "It's okay, Anna; we'll get out of this."
"Zat's vhat you zink," Came the voice of a familiar German scientist.
Kim and Anna looked to see Professor Dementor and an older woman on a hover scooter.
"So, Billy, is zis Kim Possible and ze sidekick?" The woman asked.
Kim and Anna both giggled.
"Billy?" Kim asked.
Dementor sighed, "Mother, first, stop calling me, Billy. Second, zat little girl vith Kim Possible is not ze sidekick, it's Anna Stoppable."
Dementor's mother soon realized, "Zat must be ze Norvegian girl who defeated you in Siberia."
"She is," Dementor groaned.
Kim and Anna stopped giggling as their faces turned serious.
"So, what's your evil plan this time?" Kim demanded.
"You'll see," Dementor said before he and his mother put on gas masks. "And experience it!"
Dementor's mother turned to her son, "Billy, may I?"
"Ugh," Dementor groaned. He then pulled out a remote with a red button from his pocket and handed his mother. "Here, and quit calling me, Billy."
Dementor's Mom then pressed the button, and a purple mist emerged from the air vents and caused both Kim and Anna to cough.
Ron, Felix, and Zita were at the Zombie Mayhem Convention in New York when they decided to step outside and take a breather.
"Whoa," Ron commented. "Competing with those pros can be exhausting."
"I can't believe we've met our match," Felix added.
"Thank goodness we have some time to rest up," Zita added.
Beep Beep Beep Beep
"Or not," Felix groaned.
"Yes, Wade?" Ron answered his Ron-link.
"Ron, I've been trying to reach you, Felix, and Zita!" Wade said as he appeared on the screen. "Why didn't you answer?"
"Either the convention center was a dead zone or me, Felix, and Zita were so fixated on playing against Zombie Mayhem pros that we were oblivious to everything else," Ron speculated. "So, what's the sitch?"
"Kim and Anna are in trouble!" Wade announced.
"Trouble?" Ron gasped.
"They've been captured by Professor Dementor!" Wade said.
Ron's face turned serious, "Wade, get me, Felix, and Zita a ride to Bavaria."
"I'll get to it," Wade said with a nod. "And one more thing, Kim would like to have a word with you later, obviously for you not answering your Ron-link."
After the screen went black, Zita spoke, "I just hope Kim and Anna are okay."
"I wonder how they're doing," Felix added with a worried look on his face.
Back at Dementor's lair, the mist began to dissipate. But once it did, Kim and Anna soon developed angry looks on their faces as they turned toward each other.
"Mom, why did you bring us here?!" Anna demanded. "We're supposed to be at the talent show!"
"Wade called us to go on this mission, remember?" Kim demanded.
"Others could've done it!" Anna growled.
"We had no choice!" Kim shouted.
"As if!" Anna argued.
"Don't raise your voice to your mother young lady!" Kim shouted.
"Make me not!" Anna countered.
Kim and Anna both started bickering random things from insults to dos and don'ts.
"What an amazing plan," Dementor's mother commented.
Dementor smirked, "I knew my parent/child-hating mist would be perfect in turning Kim Possible and Anna against each other. All part of my plan!"
Kim and Anna stopped bickering and turned towards Dementor and his mother.
"What plan did you say you have?!" Kim demanded.
"Making me obey my wicked mother?!" Anna added.
"Or making me obey my troublemaking daughter?!" Kim added.
"I intend to turn all ze children against zeir mothers!" Dementor answered. "Yuo two vere just a test. I vill commence with my plan on Mother's Day itself."
"Who are you?" Anna demanded
"And what's that thing on your head?" Kim demanded.
"A Binnie meant to cover your brainless head?" Anna guessed.
"It's a helmet!" Dementor corrected. "And I have a brain!"
"Now Billy," Dementor's mother spoke up. "Please don't lose your temper."
"Billy?" Kim demanded.
"How silly!" Anna added.
Kim and Anna laughed.
Dementor's face turned red, "You two are worse zan I zought you would be!"
Dementor's mother put her hands on her hips, "Billy, had you not used that mist these two wouldn't be complete jerks!"
Kim and Anna stopped laughing.
"Excuse me?!" Anna gasped.
Kim scowled at Dementor, "Those attitudes tell me that you two are real jerks and sure could use a 'little talk'!"
Anna smirked, "Hey, Mom?"
"What is it?" Kim demanded.
"Why don't we call a truce and take down these two jerks?!" Anna suggested.
Kim smirked, "Let's do it!"
"You can't break this cage down!" Dementor taunted.
Kim soon noticed that the lock of the cage was covered in rust and got an idea.
She then raised her right foot and used to kick the cage door where the lock was. The force soon caused the lock of the cage to break and open the cage.
Dementor's skin went pale, "How?"
"Didn't you notice your cage lock was rusty?" Anna asked.
"Run!" Dementor shouted before he and his mother fled down a hallway.
"Mom, they're getting away!" Anna pointed out.
"I have eyes, young lady!" Kim interrupted.
"We'll argue more later!" Anna said.
Soon, Kim and Anna gave chase.
Dementor and his mother were still fleeing, Dementor on foot and his mother on her hover scooter, as they ripped off their gas masks and tossed them aside.
"I should've known your evil plan would backfire!" Dementor's mother groaned as she and her son ran out of an opening to the outside.
"Vell, you're ze one who pushed ze button and activated ze sprayers!" Dementor counted.
Dementor's mother gasped, "How dare you play the blame game on your own mother!"
"I'm an adult!" Dementor groaned. "You can't tell me vhat I can and can't say!"
"Billy Heinrich Dementor!" Dementor's mother growled. "You're in a lot of trouble mister!"
Just then, a GJ hypersonic aircraft appeared and landed in front of Dementor and his mother.
"Global Justice!" Dementor gasped, recognizing the craft.
The side door opened, revealing Ron, Felix, Zita, and a few GJ agents.
"You two aren't going anywhere!" Ron declared.
Dementor and his mother tried to escape in the opposite direction only to be stopped by an angry Kim and Anna.
"You two can't escape us!" Kim shouted.
Before Dementor and his mother could react, they suddenly felt their arms get pulled back and handcuffs slapped onto their wrists by a couple of GJ agents.
Noticing how Dementor and his mother were captured, Kim turned toward Anna and demanded, "Why didn't I think to punish you by having you arrested?"
"You dare to have your own daughter arrested?!" Anna shouted.
The two then started bickering again.
As the GJ agents escorted Dementor and his mother to the aircraft, Ron, Felix, and Zita came running up to Kim and Anna.
"Will you two, stop fighting?!" Ron demanded.
Kim and Anna stopped bickering before they turned to Ron.
"This little girl has been a troublemaker!" Kim said, pointing to Anna.
"No!" Anna countered. "You are the troublemaker!"
"Oh yeah?!" Kim growled as she turned to Anna.
"Yeah!" Anna growled back as she turned to Kim.
Kim and Anna then resumed bickering.
"I think we'd better let Wade know of this," Zita suggested to Ron.
Ron then got Wade on his Ron-link and spoke, "Wade, we've found KP and AC."
"Are they okay?" Wade asked.
"I don't know," Ron replied. "For some reason, the two are at each other's throats."
Suddenly, Kim and Anna stopped bickering and started feeling dizzy.
They soon noticed Ron, Felix, and Zita.
"Dad, when did you get here?" Anna asked.
"What happened?" Kim asked.
Ron looked back down at Wade, "Wade, forget what I just said about KP and AC fighting."
"What fighting?" Kim asked.
Ron looked at Kim, "You mean you don't remember you and AC fighting?"
"Dad?" Anna spoke up, getting Ron's attention. "Mom and I would never fight."
Zita then spoke, "If I didn't know better, I'd say Kim and Anna were exposed to something that made them crazy."
"That could be it," Felix added. "And the stuff has just worn off."
Anna soon thought of something and gasped, "Mom, we gotta get back to the talent show!"
"You're right," Kim gasped. She then scowled at Ron. "Ronnie, I'll have a word with you for not answering your Ron-link later."
With that, the Team Possible members boarded the hypersonic aircraft and flew off to New York.
Later, in New York, at the HHP Mother's Day Talent Show, Connie Waller and her mother Geraldine were tap dancing to the song "Livin' La Vida Loca" by Ricky Martin.
Soon, the song ended, along with the duo's tap dance.
The audience, excluding Ellie and Michelle Kelly who were there, gave a round of applause as Connie and her mother walked offstage to the back and soon noticed Kim and Anna in their barbershop outfits.
"Good luck out there, losers," Geraldine taunted as she and Connie walked by.
"You two are gonna need it," Connie added.
Soon, Regan Barkin's voice was heard, "And now, we have our last act, Anna Stoppable and her mother, Kim."
Kim and Anna then walked out onto the stage.
After Connie and Geraldine walked off stage, Regan Barkin came on stage and spoke, "And now, we have our last act, Anna Stoppable and her mother, Kim."
The audience applauded including Ron, Felix, and Zita, who just joined Ellie and Michelle as Barkin walked off stage before Kim and Anna walked onto the stage.
Soon, the song "Putin' On the Ritz" started playing before Kim and Anna tap-danced to the rhythm.
After the song ended, Kim and Anna concluded their tap dance and received a round of applause before they walked off stage.
Regan Barkin came on stage and spoke, "And the winner of the Annual HHP Mother's Day Talent Show is… Connie and Geraldine Waller!"
Kim, Ron, Anna, Felix, Zita, Ellie, and Michelle groaned while everyone else gave a round of applause.
"Top that, losers," Geraldine said as she and Connie, with triumphant smirks on their faces, walked by Kim and Anna.
"I can't believe those two won," Kim groaned.
Something on the back of Geraldine's head quickly caught Anna's eye.
"I'm not so sure about that," Anna said, skeptically.
She then walked onto the stage.
"Anna, what are you doing?" Kim asked.
Just before Barkin could present the trophy to Connie and Geraldine, he noticed Anna walking up.
"Stoppable, what are you doing?" Barkin demanded.
"This woman is an imposter!" Anna announced, pointing at Geraldine.
She then quickly grabbed a zipper handle on the back of "Geraldine's" head and unzipped it, revealing a woman with black hair, teal-colored eyes, fair skin, and wearing a black leotard.
The audience gasped.
"How did you figure things out?" The imposter demanded.
Anna scowled, "When you and Connie walked past me and my mom, I noticed a zipper on the back of your head. It looked almost invisible, but I was able to see it."
"How were you able to see it?" The woman demanded.
"I have sharp eyesight," Anna answered.
The woman turned to Connie and sighed, "I guess the cat's out of the bag, Connie."
Barkin looked squarely at Connie, "Who is this woman?"
Realizing it was all over, Connie sighed, "This is my aunt and tap dance teacher, Gracie."
"Wanting to tap dance in Mother's Day Talent Shows," Gracie spoke up. "And since Geraldine couldn't dance, I posed as her in a costume my husband, Hector, made; he's a pro costume designer."
Barkin scowled at Connie, "Waller, you are disqualified from this talent show, as well as future talent shows hosted by HHP and your trophies from previous talent shows will all be revoked! You will also receive detention for the remainder of the school year!" He then turned back to the audience. "Since Waller cheated, I will instead present the award to our first runner-ups, Anna and Kim Stoppable!"
The audience gave a round of applause as Kim joined Anna on stage, and the two received their trophy.
Anna smirked at Connie, "So much for the Waller family tradition, huh, Connie?"
Connie growled before she angrily stormed off stage with her Aunt Gracie following behind.
