Kingless Hero Chapter 2

Naoto's POV: 5:45 PM

I arrived home and asked for a healing potion from Olga. She quickly rushed and gave me one as I spoke to her about what I did.

''Olga...I'm dying right now. I ripped those Pieces out of me but...can your Karma restore me to what I was before she did this?'' I asked her as her eyes widened and showed a multitude of emotions. Fear, Confusion, but then they changed into those who had an epiphany. She had figured out how to save me as she called for Chloe to come here which wasn't long before she arrived. Olga then told Chloe what to do.

''Tell the others to come to help me save our husband ok? Then go warn Lady Yasaka of what Naoto did so that she can arrange the defenses before the devils show themselves. Then come back and help us okay?'' Olga said as Chloe then left to do so. She then began carving another karma seal on my other hand but left it blank as she then began to explain her plans to the others

''Ok girls, he ripped the evil pieces from within him and he is dying but I got a way to save him. I'm going to use the Karma that he already had from me to back him up as a human and use the blank one to send the devil genetic in it and then extracted it afterward. I need the stronger of you all physically to restrain him while those who use magic like me help speed up the process. Now let's move it!'' Olga said as they began their work on saving my life.

POV Change: Maou Conference: 6:00 PM

The Four Great Satans were currently sitting in a meeting ever since what was broadcasted an hour ago. Someone had successfully freed themselves from the system and lived. Not only but they had crushed the pieces and were somehow human again. This was important enough as it was a first in devil history. The one who called the meeting was none other than the older brother of the stray's master, Sirzech Lucifer.

Sirzechs is a handsome man who seems to be in his early twenties. He has shoulder-length crimson hair and blue eyes. He wears a regal outfit which is gold colored with black and red on it.

The second was Akuha Beelzebub. Ajuka is a bewitchingly beautiful and attractive young man appearing in his early twenties, with light blue eyes and green hair that is slicked back. He has a mysterious aura around him which he claims makes him seem devilish.

The third was Serafall Leviathan. Serafall is a beautiful girl; looking in her late teens with black hair, tied into twin tails and blue. She also has a child-like body. She usually dresses in magical girl's clothing.

The fourth and final one was Falbium Asmodeus. Falbium is a tall man whose head is completely bald and has a goatee on his chin. He was dressed in a mostly black and grey coat.

There was a fifth one who was guarding the door to this meeting. She was Sirzech's wife and maid, Grayfia Lucifuge. Grayfia is a beautiful young woman appearing to be in her early twenties with back-length silver hair that features a long braid on each side with small blue bows at the ends, while the rest is let down which ends in twin braids and red eyes.

Sirzech then began talking to them.

''Alright, We have a big problem as you all saw earlier today. My sister's peerage had now an official stray. While it is big enough to be on the devil's news it was this stray that is the problem. According to Akuja's analysis of the scenes, he seems to revert back to being a human. You do know what this means right?'' Sirzech said as Akuja began talking.

''This is pretty big and bad as you all know. The evil piece system was meant to recruit members and replenish our race numbers. The fact that he survived and seems to be turning human again shouldn't even be happening. I designed them that way to avoid them turning rogue as a failsafe so that if they lost their piece they died. The pieces shouldn't be removable by himself and the pieces should stay bound to him. It is meant to mutate him should he kill his king so that people hunt him as he goes insane.'' Akuja said as Serfall then took over.

''He also hurt my Sona-Chan. I had Akeno interrogated and he almost killed Rias twice.'' Serafall said as the room became tense as Sirzech yelled.

''That son of a bitch hurt my Ria-Ten! I'll kill him!'' Sirzech said only for Falbium to intervene and say his piece.

''Calm down Sirzech! He is under Yasaka's care right now. I think she might have seen Rias do the resurrecting process. It seems that attacking him might lead to a war with the yokai. I don't want a war and it's not because I'm lazy.'' Falbium as it calmed things down as Grayfia decided to add her thoughts on the matter.

''Perhaps a diplomatic meeting with them right now is in order? If She saw Rias resurrecting him then we can compare her words versus Yasaka's That way we might avoid a war.'' Grayfia said as Akuja took over.

''Yes...it is for the best. If he is turning back into a human as of right now then by the time we get there he may not have an ounce of devil genetics in him. It would erase him as a stray since you know strays can't become normal again.'' Akuja said as Sirzech seemed to calm down and said his final piece.

''And he is fully human by the time we arrive? What do I tell my family or the public?'' Sirzech asked as Akuja awnsered.

''The truth. that he is the first to do so and tell the truth to the public. The news already told most about these two facts were are discussing. We tell him he isn't a stray because he ISN'T a devil anymore.'' Akuja said but Serafall interjected.

''But the riots...''She said only for Falbium to interject.

''The public knows already. I'm sure the riots are slowly starting already. At this, you are overcomplicating things since the public knows. We have more important things than going to war with the yokai. We have potentially another civil war. Besides if Sirzech interferes to help Rias as Lucifer we will lose him as Lucifer and we can't let Rizevim take charge knowing he is already adding fuel to the civil riots and soon-to-be war.'' Falbium said as they all nodded and Sirzech nodded and said his final piece.

''Alright, we let it go for now. Akuja, Serafall, Go meet Yasaka about this. Please scan him to see if he has any remaining devil genetics on him. Falbium and I are gonna make an emergency broadcast about this and will wait for the news.'' Sirzech said as Akuja and Serafall left to meet the leader of the Yokai faction.

POV Change: Naoto's POV: 7:00 PM

I woke later as Olga was sleeping next to me with all the others. I then looked around and saw mom. I then talked to her.

''Hey, mom...what happened? Am I still a filthy devil?'' I asked her as she shook her head and explained herself.

''No, they did it. Olga's plan worked and you back to who you were genetically before that Rias did this to you. We have bigger problems. Two Maou are here and want to see you and Lady Yasaka asked me to bring you as soon as you woke up.'' Mom said as I nodded and went with her. In the room, I then sit where all were waiting and one of the Maou's introduced himself.

''Good Evening Naoto Uzumaki. You shook the underworld to its core today by what you did. Now we have to use this spell to analyze and determine your status. I never thought someone would trump the system I created.'' He said as he scanned me and I quipped him while he did so.

''Oh, so your the bitch who created this slave system. Seriously stealing and turning other people into devils who can't say no. What you expected me to tend to her whims when I have a family?!'' I said as he scowled at the result and explained himself.

''Our race was dying young one, This was the alternative or something else. We were reduced to about thousands after the great war.'' He said as I quipped back at him.

''Really thousands and it justifies slavery in all but name?! My mom, my brother, and I are the last of the Uzumaki Clan and we don't enslave anyone to match our genetics. Wait I know others, My wives Olga and Chloe, they the last of the Dark Elves of the dimension we came from and they didn't. There is more, Luu-Luu is the last of the werewolf, and let's not forget that another of my wives is the last High Elf. Then my remaining wives are the last humans from the dimension we came from. We still don't enslave others and out total numbers for about five different races and their sum of twelve people and we have even more reason than you guys to do it and yet we don't. If you guys were really that low with thousands still then incest would have been the norm regardless of moral stance on the matter.'' I quipped only for the other Maou to interject with her points.

''Be as it may, we had to replenish our numbers, The peerage option was saner.'' She said as I quipped her.

''Sure...both slavery and incest and somehow slavery is saner. I don't believe you.'' I said as she then snapped and yelled about my ex master situation.

''The girl who saved you is going to be married off to a pig! Can't you open your eyes and see that her friends which include my sister and gonna get hurt by this?!'' She screamed as I nodded and explained myself.

''Sure but he said that peerage WERE meant to boost your numbers. If your numbers are boosted because of those peerages then shouldn't her marriage be null and void?'' I asked as she took a second before she answered forgetting that she was filmed live.

''The truth is that her brother agreed to this face that both houses planned for his own reasons. He accepted to see if his sister was safe in the human world.'' She said as this revelation was now live and the man next to seemed to groan. I then looked at her and explained myself.

''Look I can understand but that doesn't change the fact he is a ruler like you both and if his big brother complex prevents him from making a good decision for the future of at least two people then he really shouldn't be leading a race. Unless he can keep his big sis con complex and make it so his work is unaffected otherwise he should abdicate.'' I said as Akuja called on the phone and said a sentence that shook the world by storm.

''He's COMPLETELY human.''

POV Change: Underworld

The people were furious as the system was wrong. Some of the older factions were already doing riots. None was sadder and felt more betrayed than Rias. Her brother agreed with this tormenting agreement just to test her. Rias felt hatred like never before as not only a powerful piece left her but the person she thought would invalidate her marriage with Rizer had agreed to it for this reason. The other was that the devils were not that low to justify these methods. She knew what she had to do. She would renounce her title as Gremory Heiress, If she couldn't trust her family then who could she trust? She felt a multitude of emotions at this moment. Anger, Anger at being dismissed by what she called her trump card against Rizer but also her savior. Jealousy, Jealousy that this person she recruited had his attention taken by nine other women. Sadness that she couldn't recruit any more members for her peerage. As she wrote her letter and left in exile from her status as heir and left with her peerage, she had a genius evil plan. She would have Naoto Uzumaki no matter the cost, his power was greater than her brother and it was intoxicating, to say the least. She had been enamored ever since the night she saw and she knew that even Issei Hyoudou wasn't worth it compared to this. By now that pervert was dead by that fallen and it was good riddance. As she arrived with her peerage at Akeno's shrine or home, the former asked her a question.

''Are you this is a good idea Rias? I still can't believe you would self-exile from the Gremory, your family.'' Akeno said as Rias nodded and said her piece.

''I'll win him over Akeno! He IS stronger than my brother and has the best shot at protecting us.'' Rias said.

Sometime later Sirzech would find his mother in his office with the letter of his dear Ria-tan. The content was shocking as she now knew the truth and self-exiled herself to not be with Rizer and said she would never trust him again. Sirzech couldn't blame anyone but himself as his actions with that marriage lead to this and with Naoto bringing valid points and his actions shaking the underworld, he had no one to blame but himself. It seemed that the others factions would soon learn this and the devils would be regarded as scums once again. He cried tears silently as his wife Grayfia console him and he made a vow that day. The old devil faction would pay.
