Disclaimer: This fun little AU ignores the main storyline of S4 but the Upside Down did try and pull some shenanigans involving its special brand of residents.
After everything that had gone down with another resident of the Upside Down that invaded Hawkins, Indiana, the Party/Hellfire/Babysitters Club had gained a new member in the form of Chrissy Cunningham. Something a number of people hadn't particularly liked but at that point, Chrissy had no longer given a damn after all she'd been through after the attack from the Upside Down that had randomly shown up at Eddie's to cause chaos. The whole thing initially being blamed on Eddie until certain Government officials got him cleared, not that this had helped change the minds of some like Jason. Whom was pissed off that HIS girl had chosen someone else over him and to this day, the guy hadn't ever gotten over it to the point he'd allowed it to destroy his life. Leaving him a drunken mess that no one wanted much to do with. Chrissy's mother's attempts to crack down harder on her in order to get her back in line had all failed thanks to the new outlook the young woman had on life and secretly, her father was proud of her while also feeling guilt for not ever reining in his wife's ways with their Daughter.
Chrissy had also been among the loudest to cheer for Eddie when he walked across the stage to get his Diploma and also had been among those to laugh when he flipped the Principal off and ran like Hell while laughing his head off. And while both loved the friends they had within the Party/Hellfire/Babysitters Club, the two lovebirds from the opposite sides of the tracks had made the decision to leave Hawkins behind and make a life outside of the town. Something Eddie's Uncle had been hugely supportive and happy about. Even having declared the girl to be one of the few things his Nephew had gotten right in Life and hoped like Hell they would have a long happy life together. Now, things weren't exactly always easy for the two outside of Hawkins for one reason or another, which included a fight here and there between Eddie and Chrissy, but the two none the less had the other's back through thick and thin. Supporting one another in the other's dreams and in Chrissy's case, her demons where her mother was concerned until she ultimately managed to conquer them. Even going so far as to go back to Hawkins to have a word with her mother that ultimately ended with her slapping the shit out of the older woman.
A year after that momentous occasion would see the Rocker and the Cheerleader get married in 1993. Of course, prior to that, Eddie had finally chosen to propose when Vecna/One/Henry Creel had decided to make his bid to once again walk the Earth and re-make it to how he felt it should be but one couldn't deny Eddie's timing since it had been beneficial during a particularly bleak time. Thankfully said bleak time didn't last thanks in part to the efforts of the group, especially Will and El's after they decided to tag team Vecna to put him down once and for all. "You really gonna send those pictures, Princess?" Eddie asked his Lady as they rode in the backseat of the Limo that was taking them to the airport for the start of their Honeymoon.
Naturally, Dustin was also driving the Limo. Chrissy, still beaming happily, looked at her Husband and nodded. "I am, I want my mother to know how badly she screwed up with me to the point she didn't even know we got married." She told him.
Her father at one point even having left her mom thanks to the fact he'd finally gotten tired of her shit. "Well, you know me, I'm always willing to go with what you want."
"And that's one of the many reasons I love you, Eddie Munson." Chrissy told him softly with love in her eyes before the two shared a sweet and tender kiss.
Despite having been born on the opposite sides of the track so to speak, happiness was truly theirs.
