The Fourth Overlord is Lawful Evil MC in the story compare to the Neutral Evil Black Dog/Kuroinu/Sex Empire. In short, he's simultaneously the lesser but more of the eviler of the duo via his brainwashing and corruption of people and other typical evil overlord stuff.
But quite honestly, compare to Vault who's a sexually depraved tyrannical rapist with zero sympathetic traits and his brand of hardcore misogynist that could make even the most nastiest of real world misogynist look at them in disgust.

Appearance
Ethan is an extremely tall, broad, and fearsomely strong man, even larger than his legendary father, the Third Overlord. He was bull-like, with heavy shoulders, a thick neck, and huge arms. Though he was on the heavy side, he was not fat, but more massive and square, and capable of wielding a two-handed greatsword or battle-axe with just one hand. Both outside and inside the battlefield he wore thick plate armor that was so heavy that no ordinary man would be able to move, let alone fight effectively while wearing it, making him nigh-invincible in combat. He also wore a three-horned plate helm with only a narrow slit for vision, through which his angry-looking, bright yellow eyes were able to spot the enemy, while keeping his facial features completely hidden.
There is, however, little doubt that by far his most peculiar physical characteristic was his skin: crystal-blue in color and covered in white spiraling symbols. There are various theories that can explain this unnatural skin coloration, but none of them has been confirmed to be canonical. According to one of these theories, his condition could be the result of mild exposure to the Magical Plague in utero. Another possibility is shortly after birth - considering the plague victims have similar skin color and markings as he does - which may even explain his fine attunement with magic. Even his superior muscular strength and abilities of domination could be part of the side effects of the plague.
Under his helm is a firm but young looking face with strong, masculine features that radiates confidence and stoicism. His yellow eyes, sharp and cold yet blazing with raw emotion and passion like an uncontrollable dragon flame. He could be fairly handsome and attractive in an unconventional manner if one could look past the inhuman color of his eyes and his demonic eyes. He has short blood-red hair with shaved sides and a beard which is well-groomed and trimmed to near-perfection.
Personality
Ethan is a calm, direct, pragmatic, collected and stoic man who doesn't speak much but let his words do the talking. He carried himself an air of stoic darkness and malevolence that invoked a sense of dread and subvierence in his servants and enemies. The few times he speaks, he is direct and blunt in words and mannerism, dismissing flattery and wordplay in favor of sheer directness and clarity of his words and action, making a very blunt and straightforward person.
In spite of his blunt nature, straightforward directness, and his quiet stoicism, Ethan is a fairly charismatic, charming and magnetic person who's able to make numerous people of different road of life into his side with his dark charisma, nigh-unflinching confidence and his powerful oratory skills that he inherited from his father, The Third Overlord.
He's feared by the nobles but quite popular with the soldiery and commoner due to his direct nature and his casual indifference toward the upper class of the empire. Leading him a mixed reputation amongst his subjects.
Ethan is a natural born warrior whose skill with weapons was unmatched. He lived for war, gladiatorial matches and battle, and rose to become one of the youngest and finest military leaders of his time. However, he was also a hard and brutal man who craved violence, death, and absolute mastery over all he deemed his. His savagery in the field and his harsh command techniques were legendary among his servants and enemies alike.
In terms of overall evilness, the Fourth Overlord was much more efficient and domineering than his father. While the previous lord relied on his own charisma and deeds to earn the loyalty of his subjects. The Fourth Overlord simply used the power of his Evil Presence Spell to compel their eternal servitude. In short. He's Lawful Evil Noble Demon with his brand of honor and principles who uphold an evil but lawful empire, peace through the power of absolute domination and tyranny over the empire, in a harsh but fair and just manner.
He also took a more "hands-on" approach to his conquered lands, occupying them with minion guards at all times whereas the Third Overlord only did so in specific cases. However, he was not outright cruel, and many commoners from the lands he conquered felt no fear in alerting him to the happenings in his domains, and made foolish requests that he would choose to either fulfill or deny.
His style of waging war greatly contrasted the combat doctrines of most of his predecessors. Again, the most notable contrast was with his father, the Third Overlord. Whereas the Third Overlord preferred battles of attrition and full frontal assaults to overwhelm and capture enemy strongpoints (such as his assault on the Silent Order). The Fourth Overlord was a master of subterfuge and lightning-fast assaults.
He's a domineering, lusty man of carnal urges. Boasted a massive harem of near-endless concubine and his three mistresses. He's quite fond of the female company and not indifferent toward the female gender. Unlike his father, who had only one mistress, Ethan had three mistresses (and beyond) in his court: Kelda, Juno and Fay. The three women were not at all frightened or disturbed by his wicked presence and his vile actions and seemed to genuinely enjoy his company and attention - even if for different reasons

Magically Enhanced Physiology: Due to mild exposure of the Magical Plague and as well as being the Son of the Third Overlord and his Mistress Rose. Ethan displays numerous superhuman and supernatural and inhuman constitution. His massive reservoir of powers includes, but are not limited to:
Regenerative Healing Factor: The Fourth Overlord has a powerful healing factor that enables him to regenerate most (if not all) damaged or destroyed areas of his anatomy with far greater efficiency than an ordinary human. The rate of regeneration is proportional to the damage caused. This process is automatic and Ethan seems to have no control over it. His healing factor, however, does not seem to stop Ethan from feeling the pain of his wounds nor the pain of his body regenerating itself.
Contaminant Immunity: Ethan natural healing also affords him the virtual immunity to poisons, viruses, diseases, and most drugs.
Fatigue Resistance: Ethan is quite resistant to fatigue poisons produced from physical activity.
Decelerated Aging (Theory): It has been theorized by Gnarl and Rose that Ethan mutations have granted him a vast lifespan that's near to dragons. If their theory is true, Ethan might outlive many people and age slower than most. Still in his peak physical prime in spite of centuries passing on.
Massive Supernatural Strength: The Fourth Overlord has unnatural superhuman strength far beyond the norm of his race and others. He has the sheer strength to crush a human head with a single hand alone, as well as carrying heavy weaponry one-handed and wearing a large suit of heavy armor without much of a problem.
Superhuman Speed: Ethan has speed greater than a trained human athlete. Able to outrun archers and gunsman and mages dispatched with relative ease before they pull the trigger or get a proper shot in. Able to dodge point-blank attacks without much of a problem.
Superhuman Stamina: The Dark Emperor, due to his mystical mutation and healing factor has a near-inexhaustible level of stamina and endurances to his name. Near-immune to fatigue toxins generated by physical exertion and thus has greater endurance than actual humans. His stamina has often been described as inhuman.
Superhuman Durability: Ethan has superhuman durability due a combination of his healing factor and inhuman superhuman body.
Superhuman Senses: The Fourth Overlord possesses superhuman senses including sight, hearing, smell and taste but not known if his sense of touch has also been heightened. These senses allow him to track prey similar to dogs.
Enhanced Reflexes and Agility: The Fourth Overlord reflexes and agility are enhanced, being able to dodge enemy attacks. His reflexes are three times as swift as a normal person.
Immense Magic Power: The Fourth Overlord has an inhuman level of magic power to his name, noted by Rose and Gnarl to have magic power beyond the norm of human and even elf race standards, comparable to that of a Magic God which he can release as a thick, potent aura around him. People in the immediate vicinity can be brought to their knees by its power, even the likes of potential Archmage Class Mage, and its force can be felt at great distances.
Mastery of Dark Magic: The Fourth Overlord has innate mastery of dark magic, far more than the Second Overlord at his peak. Able to use every form of spells and ritual from the darker side of magic that is typically used for selfish, self-serving and/or nefarious purposes. Though it is not necessarily "evil" magic, dark arts tend to focus on destruction, harming, cursing and otherwise complicating the lives of other people while advancing Ethan's own state.
Evil Presence Spell: The trademark abilities of Ethan, the perfect spell and extension of the evil will of Overlords, a perfect mixture of Torture, Enslavement, and Death. When a target is blasted by the spell, it causes unimaginable pain, but when a target is held under the spell for a short moment, the spell turns the target into a loyal slave, bound to the Overlord's evil will. Finally, if a target is held under the spell for its entire duration, it results in death, reduced to ash and lifeforce.
Abilities
High Cunning Intellect: Although his direct nature, quiet stoicism and selective mutism give him a air of slow-witted, thick-headed barbarian, Ethan is quite an intelligent and cunning man of his own right, far beyond his image of a northern conquering barbarian. As his military campaign and usage of master of subterfuge and lightning-fast assaults.
Military Genius: Andilet despite his savagery and brutal nature is a highly brilliant and experienced military leader and one of the youngest and finest commanders of his time. He's able to instantly strategize, and develop complex but successful plans of actions.
Master Leader: He might be a young stoic if brutal man, but Andilet is a great and powerful natural born leader of his own right, is a master of how to be a great leader allowing him to effectively keep order and morale without a problem.
High Charisma: Despite his intimidating appearance and overall blunt stoicism. He is very eloquent and incredibly persuasive by nature, able to convince numerous people into joining his army, almost without usage of Evil Presence spell.
Intimidation: His mere looks and reputation frighten most beings, even the Demon of North and the Black Dogs of the Sex Empire. With the Gnarl, Rose, his Mistress and the upper echelon of the Sex Empire aka Emperor Vault and his inner council doesn't show any fear toward him.
Indomitable Will: No matter what, he does not back down nor surrender no matter the situation.
Avid Manipulator and Schemer: Another note to his intelligence is that Ehtan excels at scheming, planning and coaxing others into doing his dirty work for him, or pushing them into doing things that they don't realize are for his benefit.
Mastery of Weaponry: Andilet had been trained in all manners of combat, from light weapons like daggers to heavy weapons like warhammer.
Expert Hand-to-Hand Combat: While he prefers to fight with weapons, Ethan nevertheless is an expert in hand to hand combat.
Highly Influential Connections: As Monarch of Glorious Empire and Overlord of Netherworld Tower and Master of the Minion Horde, the Fourth Overlord has access to technological and magical and military hardware. He also has command of conventional military forces.
Multilingual: Gnarl taught him how to speak in almost any living and dead language in the Known World. From Common Tongue of Low and Highborn variant, to Elven Tongue, and many more.
Weaknesses
Human Factor: Despite his superhuman abilities and numerous magical mutations, is still mortal by the end of the , if not taking proper care or defenses, Ethan can be overpowered by mere blows, energy attacks, or gas.
Equal or Superior Extreme Brute Force: Despite his vast durability, Ethan is far from being invincible or invulnerable as if someone of equal or superior force attacks him with equal or superior amount of strength, he can be hurt or even killed.
Limited Regeneration: Though the Fourth Overlord does possess a healing factor, it's shown to have considerable limits to what it can heal, most notably, an inability to regrow limbs or organs.
Recklessness: While cunning warrior and vastly experienced military commander, the Fourth Overlord is quite reckless in his approach and often get blindsided by others.
Arrogance: While not a major weakness like others, but due to his powers and accomplishments, Ethan is quite arrogant which often leads him into making errors and mistake that often cause him.
Magic Rule and Limit: In spite of his godlike magic power and well-developed core, Ethan is still mortal with the same mortal limitation and rules of magic, that he is unable to change or break it without severe consequences.
