One Month after Marcy moved away

The three girls were currently in a video call, something that they agreed to doing every weekend, so Anne and Sasha could catch up with Marcy, and vice versa.

"So Marcy, how have things been going in the new school?" Anne asked. "Make any new friends?"

"Any cute boys?" Sasha asked.

"Uh… it's… going." Marcy said nervously.

"What? What's wrong?" Anne asked.

"I… I dunno… I guess after everything that's happened I guess I am just… really nervous." Marcy said. "I mean, my entire life, I've always had you two there to have my back… making new friends just feels so… intimidating."

"You seemed to just fine before we met up in Newtopia though." Anne pointed out.

"Yeah, but that was because I had the option to role play… can't exactly do that here without looking weird." Marcy explained.

"Oh… yeah… that's right." Anne said sadly.

"Ugh… if only I could just… get rid of all this stress in my system! Then I might be fine but…"

"Why don't you try working out?" Sasha suddenly asked. "It's great stress relief."

The two girls just stared at their screens.

"…What?"

"Sasha, I don't know if you noticed this, but I am NOT the most physically adept." Marcy explained.

"Seriously? I don't think anyone could become a Chief Ranger by being a wimp Marcy." Sasha said. "You got some potential in you, you just gotta bring it out!"

"I dunno…"

"Come on Marcy, just try it!" Sasha said. "Start by just going for runs every so often and go from there! Trust me, it works wonders!"

"Speaking from experience?" Anne asked.

"Oh yeah, leading an army can be real stressful. Needed to work it out and often." Sasha said with a laugh.

"… You really think it'll work?" Marcy asked.

"I am positive! And if it doesn't, well, you'll still be better off." Sasha said. "Everyone can benefit from a good workout every now and then!"

"… Alright… I guess it couldn't hurt." Marcy said with a smile.

"Great! Just start small, that's all." Sasha said.

"Right…" Marcy said with a yawn. "Alright, I think I need to sleep…"

"Ok, talk to you soon Mar-Mar." Anne said with a smile.

"Night girls!" Sasha said before hanging up.

And with that, the three girls went to sleep.

Two Weeks Later

"Sasha, you are a genius!" Marcy said happily.

The fact that this was the first thing Marcy said in their call this week caught both girls off guard.

"Oh! Uh… thanks? Uh… why though?" Sasha asked.

"The working out thing! It really worked!" Marcy said. "I just went and ran around the block a couple of times a couple of days these past couple of weeks, and it was like the stress and anxiety just melted away!"

"Oh… well then, I am happy that it worked!" Sasha said happily.

"Yeah, and you know what? I actually managed to talk to some people! I made a friend girls! I did it!" Marcy said happily.

"That's great Mar-Mar!" Anne said happily. "I am so proud of you!"

"Yeah, her name is Luz and she is so much fun!" Marcy said. "I really can't wait for you guys to visit so you can meet her!"

"Can't wait!" Anne said.

"We seriously need to figure out when we're doing that…" Sasha said.

"We'll get to it soon! Don't worry." Anne said. "Now, tell us more about this friend of yours?"

"Well, she's dating this girl named Amity and…"

And Marcy then just went on and on, talking about her new friend, as well as said friend's girlfriend that may or may not be talented at magic.

Ten Years Later

Anne was chatting it up with Sasha and Marcy, the latter of which had come to visit to celebrate ten years since they saved the world.

Speaking of Marcy though, the girl had been teasing a big surprise for the past couple weeks now, and Anne was starting to get impatient on her spilling the beans.

"Ok Marcy, what is this big surprise you've been telling us about lately?" Anne asked.

"Yeah girl! Spill the beans already!" Sasha added.

"Ok ok… so, you girls know my webcomic right?" Marcy asked. "The one that's been doing real well?"

"Yeah?"

"Well… I've been in talks with a certain company and…" Marcy said before getting really giddy. "They want to make an official publication for it!"

The reaction was immediate, as both girls began hugging her.

"I am so happy for you Mars!" Sasha said happily.

"We know this is a big step for you, and we are so proud!" Anne said.

"And we're right behind you! We'll be here to support you through it all!"

"Yeah well… I haven't gotten to the best part!" Marcy said with a smile.

"There's more?!" Anne asked.

And with a huge grin, Marcy simply said…

"The company is situated in LA!"

The two girls just stared at her, dumbfounded.

"You mean…"

"Yup! I am moving back baby!"

And that got the girls going, as they began cheering and celebrating.

"Oh my gosh! I don't believe this!" Anne said.

"The trio is back together! Permanently!" Sasha said happily.

"I say this calls for a toast!" Anne said as she held up her glass.

"Hear hear!" Marcy said as they clanged their glasses together.

"So, what's next?" Sasha asked.

"Well, I am gonna have to go home in a couple of days to get my things, but until then, I am gonna look into apartments." Marcy said. "Really hope I find one…"

"Oh heck nah!" Anne suddenly said. "You do NOT need to worry about that right now!"

"But… where am I gonna stay?" Marcy asked.

"With me of course!" Anne said.

The two girls just gave her a look.

"What? There's plenty of room!" Anne said.

"I dunno…"

"It's just until you find your own place. For now though, let's just celebrate!" Anne said with a smile.

And Marcy couldn't help but smile back.

"Alright… I guess that's fine." Marcy said.

"Great! The spare room is all ready since you're staying with me this week, so all that's left is for you to get your stuff packed and over here!" Anne said. "Oh! Maybe we could take some time off to go and help?"

"That's a good idea!" Sasha said. "What do you say Mars?"

Marcy couldn't help but smile.

"Yeah, that sounds great!" Marcy said. "Oh! And I better find out if my gym has a location nearby!"

That caught the two other girls attention.

"Wait, gym? What?" Anne asked.

"Oh uh… I kinda work out a bit now." Marcy said. "I thought you two knew that?"

"We thought you just liked going for runs every so often, not that you joined a GYM!" Anne said.

"Yeah girl! You've been pumping iron and not telling us?!" Sasha asked.

"Oh, I wouldn't go that far." Marcy said, face slightly red from embarrassment. "I just like to stay in shape is all. I don't really go hard into it, like changing my diet or anything."

"That's fine! Now, show off those guns!" Sasha said.

Marcy couldn't help but laugh, as she rolled up her sleeve and flexed a bit.

"Dang girl!" Sasha said.

"Lookin good!" Anne added.

Marcy's face turned even more red, as the embarrassment built up.

"Thanks girls… you two are the best!" Marcy said with a smile.

Three Weeks Later

Anne sighed to herself as the smell of coffee filled the air. It was a pleasant aroma that never failed to wake her up in the morning.

She then poured the cup into a thermos filled with ice, and began to drink it, cooling her body on the nice hot day.

Marcy had just moved in the other day, and not much really happened yet.

For starters, the long trip from Connecticut completely wore Marcy out, and she was out like a light upon hitting the bed.

And now, Anne woke up to see a note on the counter.

"Went out for a morning run! See you in a bit! -Marcy"

At the end was a cute little drawing of Marcy's head, her tongue sticking out.

"Glad she's sticking with it… Sasha must be real proud since she was the one who suggested it…" Anne said with a smile.

That being said though, she couldn't help but worry.

It was a very hot day out, and Marcy might not be used to running in such intense heat.

However, her worries were put to rest as she heard the door opening.

"Whoo! I am NOT used to this heat!" Marcy said as she entered the room.

"Hey Mar… Mar…"

And Anne's voice got stuck in her throat as she looked at her roommate.

Her hair was tied up in a ponytail, most likely to keep it from getting in her face while she ran…

But that wasn't the important part.

The important part was that the girl at some point had abandoned her shirt, revealing the sports wear underneath.

And, most importantly, just how good of shape she was in.

She wasn't ripped by any means, but she was absolutely well toned.

Between that and the sweat that had accumulated… well…

'Oh… hi gay panic… been a while…'

"Hey Anne! Sorry about leaving without a word, wanted to get my morning run in!" Marcy said with a smile.

"Uh… uh yeah! Wow you uh… look like you need to cool off a bit!" Anne said.

"Yeah, I really do… I'm gonna take a shower." Marcy said.

"Right… you do that." Anne said.

"Think you could grab my shampoo's from my room?"

"Yeah, no problem." Anne said as she got up and began walking.

Though, her eyes were so glued to the girl in front of her, she didn't noticed the shoe on the floor.

"WHOA!" Anne said as she stepped on the shoe awkwardly, twisting her ankle and falling to the floor.

"Anne!" Marcy shouted as she ran over and kneeled down. "Are you alright?"

Anne didn't respond right away, and continued staring.

'Oh my frog you could grind meat on those…'

"Anne?"

Snapping out of her daze, the pain suddenly spiked in her ankle.

"I… I think I twisted my ankle… I'll be fine though." Anne said.

Marcy didn't look too convinced though, as she took Anne's sock off to examine the foot.

"Ow…"

"Oh yeah, that's sprained alright." Marcy said. "You should stay off of it for a bit."

"But… I needed to do food shopping today…"

"Make a list and I'll go get it." Marcy said sternly. "Now come on, let me help you lay down in bed."

Anne sighed as she complied, as she raised her arms to let Marcy help support her.

What she didn't expect though, was for Marcy to pick Anne up bridal style.

"…Buh…"

'And there's the gay panic again!'

"Oh gosh, do you have a fever too?" Marcy asked, managing to hold Anne in one arm while the other checked her forehead. "You're burning up!"

"Uh… I…"

Anne completely lost the ability to speak.

"Come on, let me get you to bed!" Marcy said as she began casually walking towards Anne's room as she laid her down to rest. "Now, text me that list while I take a shower, ok?"

Anne just nodded.

And with that, Marcy left the room.

Though, as she left, Anne couldn't help but allow her eyes to drift downwards slightly.

'NO! STOP! BAD GAY THOUGHTS! BAD!'

Acting quickly, Anne pulled her phone out of her pocket and called Sasha.

"Sup Boonchuy, how's the first day with Marcy going?"

"I HAVE A BIG PROBLEM SASHA!"

A half hour later, and Sasha was in Anne's room, with Marcy still out running errands.

"So… you gay panicked?" Sasha asked.

"Yeah… badly." Anne said. "How the heck was I supposed to know that Marcy is hot now?!"

"All that work must of paid off I guess." Sasha said with a shrug.

"Oh yeah… yeah it did…" Anne said dreamily.

Then, she frowned.

"Is… is this really alright though?"

"Hm? What?"

"I mean, me falling for Marcy just because I think she's hot…" Anne said. "Like, we've been best friends since like, forever... just feels off…"

"…Seriously?" Sasha asked. "Like, are you actually being serious right now?"

"…What?"

"Dude, I KNOW you've had a crush on her for years already!" Sasha said.

Anne turned completely red at this.

"Wh-WHAT?! I-I DID NOT!"

"Yeah you did, why are you trying to hide it so bad?" Sasha asked.

Though the look on Anne's face told her all she needed to know.

"Oh wow… you never realized it…"

"Wh-what makes you think I've had a crush on Marcy all this time?" Anne asked.

"Hmm…"

Sasha took a look at the clock, and smiled.

"Ok, Marcy should be back in almost an hour, just enough time."

"Oh please, like there's that much to sa-"

Forty Five Minutes Later

"And that's it!"

Anne just looked at Sasha in shock.

"Holy… wow…"

"Yeah, you have it bad… how did you not notice?"

"I DON'T KNOW!"

Sasha couldn't help but laugh at that.

"Well, now you do!"

"Ugh… why'd this have to happen now?!" Anne asked. "She just moved in!"

"Anne, chill." Sasha said. "I am pretty sure she likes you too."

That got Anne's attention.

"What? Really?"

"Oh yeah, the signs are all there."

"Like?!"

"…Dude, did you NOT notice how clingy she was when we were in Amphibia?" Sasha asked. "Like, I was only with you two for like, three days, and even I saw it… heck, GRIME saw it!"

"I… Ok, she was clingy, but that doesn't mean…"

"Anne, we do not have another half hour before Marcy gets back." Sasha pointed out.

"…"

"Just ask her out, and see for yourself." Sasha said.

Anne stared at Sasha like she grew a second head.

"Are you CRAZY?!" Anne asked. "I can't do that!"

"Why not?"

"Cause what if you're wrong Sasha? What if she doesn't like me like that?" Anne asked. "We have to live together for a while Sasha… I can't risk making this awkward…"

"Anne, you're talking to a woman with a psych degree, who is talking about one of her best friends since childhood… I am pretty sure I am right about the way Marcy feels about you." Sasha said plainly.

"Nope! Sorry! Not risking it!" Anne said defiantly.

Sasha just sighed.

At that moment though, they heard the door to the apartment open.

"I'm back!" They heard Marcy call out.

"Hey Mars!" Sasha called back with a mischievous grin.

'She's planning something WHAT IS SHE PLANNING?!'

"Sasha? You're here? When did that happen?" Marcy asked as she entered the room.

"Oh, your poor roomie here wanted my help after she so carelessly hurt herself." Sasha explained. "So, being the good friend I am, I spent my day off coming to help."

"Aww, you're so nice Sasha!" Marcy said with a smile. "And how are you feeling Anne?"

"Oh, uh… better." Anne said. "I think I should be able to walk now."

At that moment, she tried getting out of bed. The pain in her ankle had gone down considerably.

"Ok, that's good." Marcy said.

Then, Sasha's mischievous look returned.

"So Mars, Anne says that your workouts have been really paying off!"

Anne nearly tripped at that.

"O-oh! Really?" Marcy asked, cheeks slightly pink.

"Oh yeah, right Anne?" Sasha asked.

"I… uh…"

"Now come on! Let me see what you got!" Sasha said.

Marcy couldn't help but laugh as she answered Sasha's request.

She flexed her arms.

"Whoo! Go girl!" Sasha cheered.

'Ok, she's only flexing her arms… that's fi-'

"What about them abs though?" Sasha asked.

'AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!'

"Are you hitting on me?" Marcy asked with an amused eyebrow raise.

"Psh, nah. Sorry to say Mars, you're not my type." Sasha said.

"Good, you're not mine either." Marcy said with a laugh.

"Hehehe, funny!" Anne said a little too loudly, but Marcy didn't really notice.

"Well, show off those abs girl!"

Marcy complied, lifting the shirt slightly revealing said abs.

'Oh… oh god why?'

"Satisfied?" Marcy asked.

Sasha snuck a look at the now sweating Anne before smiling.

"Very."

"Ok good." Marcy said. "Now come on! I got some snacks that I've been dying to try!"

And with that, Marcy left the room.

"I'm gonna keep doing that until you ask her out~" Sasha said playfully.

"You WOULDN'T!"

"I absolutely would, and will!" Sasha said. "Time's ticking Anne!"

And with that, Sasha began following Marcy.

'She… she has to be bluffing… right?'

Sasha was not bluffing at all.

Every time for the next week that the girls saw each other, which Sasha made sure was every single day, she did something to make Marcy show off her well trained body.

Some of these were tame, like asking Marcy for some stretching tips…

But then Sasha playfully threw something at Marcy in their apartment, and asked her to pick it up…

And when Marcy was picking it up, Anne was right behind her…

Anne passed out from that one.

Later that day, she decided she finally had enough.

"Please stop…" Anne pleaded.

"Not until you ask her out!" Sasha said. "I'm only doing this for your own good Anne!"

"Sasha please! If you make me stare at her… not saying it… one more time I am going to scream!"

"Then do what I say! You'll thank me later!" Sasha said with a smirk.

"Sasha! For the last time! I am NOT risking ruining everything with her by asking her out!" Anne shouted.

Then Sasha did something unexpected…

She stayed quiet.

In fact, she just stared at Anne.

"...Sasha?"

"Um…"

Anne's eyes went wide at that voice.

'Oh no… please tell me that's not…'

Turning around, she saw Marcy standing right there, face completely red.

"Uh… is this a bad time?"

"I'll uh… leave you two alone!" Sasha said shyly before leaving the room.

And when the door shut, Anne's nerves went into overdrive.

"Uh… hi?"

"…Hi…"

"So… how much did you hear?"

"…Most of it…"

"…Oh…"

Marcy then sighed.

"I should of known something was up…" Marcy said. "Sasha was being… really weird all week about my training and stuff…"

"You… aren't mad, are you?" Anne asked.

"No no! Not at all." Marcy said. "Just… I really don't know what to feel right now…"

"I'm sorry… If you want to move in with Sasha now, that's fine…"

"Wait what? Why would I want to do that?"

"I mean, doesn't it bother you? The fact that I am feeling this way?" Anne asked.

"The only thing that's bothering me is the fact that Sasha did all of that and all she had to do was tell me you liked me!" Marcy said with an exasperated sigh. "I mean, I told her I liked you years ago!"

"…Wait what?"

"…I did not mean to tell you that…" Marcy said, her face completely red now.

Anne's face then turned red as well.

"So uh…"

"Ah heck to it! You want to go out?" Anne asked.

Marcy's eyes went wide, but she smiled none-the-less.

"Yes! That would be great!" Marcy said happily.

And then, they hugged it out.

"…Oh wow your muscles are hard."

"Thanks, been training for years." Marcy said with a laugh.

The two girls then began laughing together.

"…Wait a minute…" Anne said, realizing the full implications of what Marcy said before. "YOU TOLD HER?!"

"Uh… yeah?"

"Then that means… she did all of that for the heck of it?!" Anne asked. "She could of just told one of us about this and none of that would of happened?!"

"Oh uh… I guess?"

"… SHE MADE ME STARE AT YOUR BUTT AND ABS ALL WEEK!" Anne shouted. "JUST FOR KICKS?!"

"… Yeah…?"

Anne then got up and stormed out of the room.

"GET BACK HERE WAYBRIGHT!" Anne shouted as she saw Sasha trying to escape.

Marcy then heard Sasha laughing as she ran away.

"Geez, it's like they're thirteen again." Marcy said with a laugh.

That being said, she had to agree with Anne in this situation, and chased after Sasha as well.

A short while later, Sasha was sitting in the middle of the apartment, nursing a bump on her head.

Marcy was VERY quick to catch Sasha, and managed to hold her down until Anne showed up.

"Ok… so Marcy is now the strong one of the group…"

"Well that's your fault for slacking off!" Marcy said with a laugh.

"Right… I better get back to the gym then…" Sasha said. "Grime would be so disappointed in me if he saw me like this!"

"Yeah he would." Anne said with a laugh.

The three girls then shared a laugh.

"So uh… sorry about doing that to you Anne." Sasha said. "I honestly thought that the two of you needed to talk about it yourselves, instead of me flat out telling you though."

"Yeah, I gotcha… but the next time you want to help, please stop when I say so…" Anne pleaded.

"I guess I could do that…" Sasha said with a sad smile. "So… I'm guessing you two are an item now?"

"Looks like it, yeah." Anne said with a smile.

"Bout dang time!"

"Yeah yeah, Dr. 'I knew all along but didn't say anything.'" Marcy said.

"… Wait, you knew since we came back from Amphibia, right?"

"…Yeah?"

"And you STILL asked me out in High School?!" Anne asked.

Sasha's eyes went wide with realization.

"Oh… uh…"

"Sasha!"

"I'm sorry! Yes, I did know, but I thought maybe you were over it and… when I realized you weren't, that was when I decided that we were better off as friends!" Sasha explained.

"I… You…" Anne started before sighing. "Alright… I guess that's fine."

"Phew! I thought I made you mad!"

"You're buying us dinner tonight though." Anne said sternly.

"…Ok yeah, I deserve that." Sasha said with a sigh.

"Now come on." Anne said as she took Marcy's hand into her own. "Let's get something to eat!"

"Right behind you!"

And with that, the three girls were off, ready to enjoy a nice evening out…

"So Anne, when are you gonna start working out?"

"…Uh oh…"

The End.

I literally saw a drawing of adult Marcy carrying adult Anne on twitter, and my mind went into overdrive… then I got the idea of wanting to write Anne gay panicking and well, here we are!

In case you are wondering, yeah, they do get Anne to start working out a bit after that. Like Marcy, she just tries to stay in shape… Sasha, that's up to interpretation.

Also, this is probably the most mature content I will make. Like, I don't feel comfortable writing some explicit stuff… but having Anne stare at her crush? Oh yeah, that's fine! :P

… It was just a funny idea, don't think it is happening again. Will say, if it wasn't for the fact that there was a time skip in the show, I would not feel comfortable doing even this. I mean, they're just kids for 99% of the show after all!

Also, I may or may not make a one shot of the time that Anne and Sasha tried dating one day. Don't know how I'd approach it yet though, so it would be a while.

This is gonna be the last chapter of anything I have planned to post for a fair bit, I need time to write some stuff down. I am planning on finishing "Finding Each Other" first, and then getting back to A True Family and Recovery writing.

If you want updates on my progress, I post regularly to my twitter, 77Xfire (same as on here), whenever I am able to.

That being said, I hope to see you all again soon! :)
